Hi there,

So this has been driving me crazy for far too long, and no amount of googling has been able to help me find it. I played this game at my cousins when I was really young, and I only have a vague memory of it.

If I had to guess I think I played it in the early 2000's, but since I have an awful memory I'd say that the latest it could have been released is 2004ish.
I believe that it was on Windows, most likely earlier than Windows XP.
So for the game itself, I remember the graphics being very bright and colourful, it was 3D with an isometric view.
I don't really know what the point of the game was. There were little people that basically went about their day. It was open world and I think they'd go between either a workshop or their house.
The thing I remember most prominently is that whenever there was a storm with lightning, all the people wandering about outside would get scared run into the closest buildings.

I know that it's not a great description, but it's all I have to go on. Hopefully someone knows what game this is!

Hey guys, I stumbled upon this thread on my attempts to search for this game that has been racking my brain since I played it the first and only time I've seen the game. No one has even since mentioned this game or anything similar to it. I played when I was young (9-12) on a PC running Windows XP, but I'm pretty sure it may have not been a PC game because it was contained in a folder with other games that I have since discovered are also not PC games (Balls 3D, Sonic 3 etc).
Okay so!

The game is a top down RPG (story driven, not arcade) I don't remember fighting mechanics or even fighting monsters but what I did play was that you started in a village after some story stuff and end up with a (gauntlet? arm brace thing?) and it was the main item of the game. It appears in your HUD with a jewel that becomes colored (red, blue) and was your main magic thing, being able to shoot fire (red) or switch to other elements (you find blue-ice (or maybe it was water) later on) and all I remember from this game is that you used the gauntlet thing to find secrets in the village and you could talk to people (text) that told you story stuff and clues and what-not (like legend of Zelda link to the past)

Thank you guys for maintaining this thread for four years, I wish I had found it earlier but I'm really happy you guys are still helping out other people find their old games again.
Could it be one of Oasis series games?
Beyond Oasis - Story of Thor (the one I've played on Sega Genesis Emulator and liked a lot)
or the successor
Legend of Oasis for Sega Saturn (never got around to play it... yet)
Omigosh, thank you so much! This is what I've been looking for! You're such a great help, I can't thank you enough!

Now if only there were a forum like this to look up obscure movies....

Ok, so it was an old PC game I wanna say in the late 90's early 2000's. It was a first person maze game in a medieval setting. You started down in the village and worked your way up to the castle level by level. You had to find keys in each level in order to progress and there were enemies in each level to avoid. I think there were like rats or bats in the early levels and then knights and stuff in the later ones. Early 3D graphics, all the characters were very boxy and relatively low res textures on the walls. No idea where I got it, it may have been on one of those game of the month discs or something idk. Thanks ahead of time.
This is gonna sound weird, but was it a game based on the film Dragonheart? Not the hack-and-slash one, a different one - kind of puzzle/adventure with mostly point and click controls, and occasionally clips from the film.

I vaguely remember a first person maze-type sub game with coloured keys to open coloured gates, and there was something to do with collecting gems or stones or statues as well.
It was certainly low-tech - I think it came as shovelware with a computer in the mid to late 90's. It had very basic 3D graphics in the maze bit (probably not even as good as Marathon), and non-rendered graphics (like Myst) for some other bits.
Can't really remember any more than that!
I've been looking for this game for years - YEARS - and you were one of the only other people on the internet I ever found searching for the same game.

Today, I finally, finally found it:

Hello! I am looking for a quite low tech 2D PC game. In this game, you could choose from a list of characters, humans and animals, and the objective was to try avoiding the predators that were on the board. I think the board was similar to a checkers one, but green and it tended to look like a forest, sort of like a maze. I used to play this game in the early 2000s, but it's probably a lot more older. If I'm not wrong, I think there were some fruit pickups as well, apples I believe(?), and it was a progressive game: when you finally reached the end of the first board or level, you could proceed to the next one. Thanks in advance, the description might be ambiguous, but it's all I can remember now. Cheers!

I'm trying to remember a 2D browser game from back in the early/mid 2000s.

The map was broken up into tiles and there were buttons to go north, south, east, and west. The city was in the middle of the map, with a port on the north side, and some areas to do quests and fight monsters on the south and east side. In the city, there was a rich and poor area, with buildings like a mage tower or a thief's hideout. I think you could also choose your "class" by joining one of the mage/thief groups.

It was multiplayer as well. A player held a balloon, and it was announced to all the other players who had it (it might have also said where they were located). The balloon made you "float", which gave you some sort of perk.

Hello!! Can you guys please help me with this one?

-Played it on a windows demo disc

-As far as I remeber it was a dark medieval(?) fps or tps.

-probably from late 90s or early 2000, as it came together with thief: dark project, future cop lapd, roller coaster and warzone 2100 demos.

-As I remember there were 3 selectable characters, a mage with a staff (and a crystal on the tip), a barbarian with heavy armor and an axe? And a third character which I can't remember very well, probably a rogue woman with a knife.... Each character played on different levels

-I remember that in the demo it was possible to play a arena multiplayer mode.

Hello can someone help me?

I remember a game of a dragon or dinosaur from about 2000's, I think I've played it on windows 98, this dragon has to climb from platform to platform and dodge some water drops or purple drops, also I remember some snakes, I'm sorry for my bad memory but it was a long time ago.

It was definitely a Demo game that when you reached the end of the demo (i think 20 levels) it shows you more levels and a big boss that is a giant dinosaur.

Hi guys!

I'm searching for an old point and click adventure game that I played on my mom's old laptop (somewhere between 95-99). I only remember parts of it, but i hope some of you have played with it :)

- The game takes place in a futuristic world (Earth maybe), and it's in a cartoonish stlye, like the ScummVM, Lucasarts, Sierra games
- You play with a guy who wears glasses and i think wears a white suit (not sure)
- You start in a place that looks like a construction site, and from there you can go to a subway station (in the toilet you got beaten up by some big guys, the train can run over you)
- There is an old house after that, where you get into an old apartment, where you can gather some stuff. I think there was an old lady you could talk to.
- The only "cinematic" i remember: You get into a flying car with a busty girl (she drives) and a big (white) dog. She brings you to an entrance of a futuristic mall (or some building). The entrance got a security robot-eye, that you can disable some way, but i think i only did it once :D
- In the mall (or some building) there are bunch of people moving, and i think that's where i got stuck.
- The graphics are very similar to Beneath a Steel Sky and Space Quest.
Any help would be great :)

(this game is bugging me for years, and posted the description on many sites, without any success :( )

Now i'm placing a bounty on the game. Anyone who finds it first, will get $20 via paypal!

All the proffession are like in FF Tactics, this game is tactical game, with anime graphics. Help, please!

Okay I made an account just to post this about a game im looking for
It was a PS2 game and all I remember is the genre is RPG and you're a boy who is bringing a girl with you and you do choose to make her stay at a place where it is safe so you can go forward and kill the monsters to make it safe for the girl to go and after killing the monster you can call her and she will go running to you and you can also press a button to hold her hand. I really dont remember what the title was
That's probably "ICO" (2001).

Another game that me and my brother are trying to remember with the ones before

it's an top-down old war based game (i dont remember much about this game) you start off by getting out of a Landing Craft to the beach were you start the war then you proceed by going in the jungle, i remember it had tanks and it was a bit cartoony, you had/collected stick grenades and a rifle and threw the grenades at doors to burn them and open them, you can take cover behind rocks.

That's all i remember for now for this game.

-Another game: Same setting but side scroller type of game i remember the logo/icon of the game which is maybe a blue butterfly or an INK BLOT... maybe it is a metal slug game but im not sure.

Thank you! :D

EDIT: the first game was maybe a gameboy advance game but i played it on pc...!

Hey, I'm looking for a Playstation 1 game. I remember that it was on a Playstation Underground demo disc (because I could only go so far in the game before it stopped me, talking about please buy the full game, etc.).

The game consisted of a little girl and a bunch of cute animals/monsters. It was a free-roam-ish game, and was third person view. When you ran into one of the little creatures, a sort of minigame would start, I believe, and you would have to sing to the monster (as in, press button prompts, I believe). If you sang badly, the monster would run away. If you sang well, the monster would befriend you. I think they followed you around after you befriended them.

Just to clarify, it is not Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure; I've already looked into that game. That game is too turn-based to be the one I'm looking for, if that makes sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi guys. I am trying to remember an old game which I can't find. I hope you can help.

The elements I remember are:

1) It ran on a very old PC in elementary school (must have been around 2003, 2004 or 2005), so it must have been either Win95 or 98
2) It was about exploring a maze. This maze had walls made of light gray stone bricks, without a roof (you could see the sky). Around there were plants and maybe statues, fountains and hedges (can't be 100% sure about hedges though)
3) You had a health bar but the HUD was minimal
4) there were some enemies lying here and there. I think I remember some "imp-like" enemy from Oblivion
5) gameplay was not turn based. Can't be sure if there was such a strict level subdivision, but in terms of gameplay and graphics, in retrospective I remember it similar to the first Wolfenstein but less fast paced
6) POV was 1st person

I couldn't see anything resembling the game you've described. Maybe you'll have a better luck.
