I want to look for a CD that has more than the following,

I remember it was for Windows 95 or 98 and it was a demo disc with "1000 games" in the title
examples were
-Zombie Tower
-Exile
-Bad Toys
-Age of Empires
I can vaguely remember a few other games but not the title.

Hey guys!

I'm looking for a racing game. Before you say something, I've googled and it's not Twisted Metal.

It's a PlayStation 1 game, can't remember the launch. I remember racing with cars or vehicles. I remember catching "powers" like in Mario Kart, like tornado/twister and things like that that you could throw to your enemies. It was a fun game to play with friends. I remember it has a lot of shortcuts too in it's circuits.

Hope you can help me!

Thank you!
It could be Speed Freaks.

As for mine. A browser based game. I thought it was named after the character you play as, a frog called Ric O'Shea (ricochet). You had to hit targets by bouncing your bullets off the walls.
I've searched previously to no avail.

Hey I'm looking for a game and this is going to sound very vague and not really accurate because i played it when i was about 7

Its a RPG fantasy i think it was turn based for fights but near the beginning of the story you would knock over a brazier and find a scared flame who speaks and becomes your companion/sidekick and helps you fight.

It was i think a top down or like a tilted 3rd person. You played as a girl i think and it may have been pixelated.

not really sure but i really hope you people can help me because my mom and i have been trying to figure it out.

It was a game played off of a disc i think. It was made before 2006

Heyo everyone. Today I'm posting this since after looking in all my house and internet, I still haven't found what was the game I played when I was a kid after almost 10 years. I should have played it before 2006 since after I was on Warcraft III.
So :
1. It could be anything before 2006
2. It is a PC (RPG/Adventure?) Game in a Medieval setting
3. I remember seeing and hearing rain
4. There is forest
5. You control 1 character, I never finished it but I doubt others characters would join us
6. There is some place I remember which contained : Torch, Tomb, Skeletons, Gold on the ground from the killed skeletons, and my character. I believe there was some others monsters like animals
7. I forgot if there was any interface on the screen or not but if it have then not too much
8. My character had a sword
9. It look like Diablo/Holyspirit gameplay from what I saw
10. I'm not sure at all but I think there was a blocked path with a tower/castle near, something in stone
11. I have no idea how the game looked like at start.
12. Searched between 1990/2006 in this site https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_chronologique_de_jeux_vid%C3%A9o_de_r%C3%B4le

In others word :
Old PC Rpg/Adventure games before 2006 that contains Skeletons, Torch, Forest, Collectible gold on ground, Sword, 1 playable characters

It is possible that some points are wrong since I can only remember 2 images in my heads and vaguely how it looked like.

New to this thread and there is a lot to go through, so if I repeat the game I'm sorry.

This game starts out with a cutscene of a boy with a weird tuft of hair and a really round head being spoken to by his mother, then he is sucked into something (I think it's a toy chest?) and he falls onto a platform. This is where the game starts. The entire play screen is on the screen. The gameplay is almost Burger Time-esque in the regard that you are going up and down platforms while avoiding enemies. The only other thing I remember is that I'm pretty sure the name of the game is just the name of the kid.

1. early 2000 probably not more than 2005
2. cyberpunk / scifi point and click adventure that looked a lot like the blade runner game, but brighter, lots of blues. I think the main char was bald.
3. there was a walkthrough of it on youtube and I'm pretty damn sure I found a demo for it on a website archive but it might have been a fever dream... the demo didnt start at the same spot as the main game.

FOUND IT! called nightlong btw

Hi, this one is somewhat of a tough one and I've been looking for it for years. All I can remember is it was a DOS game and there were multiple alien races you were competing with for, I assume rule of the galaxy, and I remember playing as a human (only option maybe?) and you were in a room with a doorway behind you looking out toward a city as you stood at a round dome topped table. The best recollection I have was there was technologies that you could research, and one of the random events was to find some alien technology and you could then research it to figure out what it was. The other aliens would try and ask you to let them take it as they were more advanced than you. The technology screen looked like Cd-Rom drives and there as a giant panel of them, kind of like a tech tree but the "tree" was more like a giant rectangle filled with Cd-Rom drives that you could select each one to pick the next research. Thanks for any ideas!
Sounds a lot like game I used to play, called Reunion.
Wonderful! That is it! Thank you so much.

So... I got 2 to remember.

There was an old ps1 side scrolling... or vertical shooter game. I remember 1st level was on some city at night, 2nd on some snowy area. You can collect crystals, press O to drop bombs, there was differect projectiles, 2 or 5 red circles, 1 single blue, one line lazer... and there was mobs that look like flies. You can collect some stuff that you can trigger to explode entire map, that... all I can remember I guess.

And the 2nd one I got on the same disk with medievil. I think It wasn't the horror game, more like platformer, but it was really disturbing, really dark. Protagonist is some grey dude with mask on his face, 1st level was in some area that look like sewerage. The first enemy to encounter was humanoid without the lower part of body... walking on arms, and it was swiping his pointed end like he was trying to sting me. And there was another enemies that look like giant wasps.

Thank you

Do you remember if it was a realistic game like Carmageddon, or a more cartoonish game like Motor Toon Grad Prix? Either of those could be it, but knowing which one is closer would help.
Vigilante 8? Tyco racing? Thunder tanks? Ot it was racing was as default? You can check some there http://www.giantbomb.com/twisted-metal/3030-12318/similar-games/

A steampunk game with isometric view, possibly published somewhere in the late 90s. Very much like arcanum, but not it. I remember that there was a town made of steel, the town had many floors and didnt have a roof or walls (just houses on each floor). If you went west from the town you come to a mountainy area with monsters. Im not sure if the game was turnbased and also if i remember correctly the atmosphere wasnt as dark and evil as arcanum/diablo.

I've got three old games that I looked everywhere and this is my only hope...

1. You play as a ghost in a side scrolling 2D world and there are 13 (I think) worlds, as a ghost you could jump on enemies' heads and press the down key and you would transform into them and then you could use their abilities.

2. You play as a ball that hits walls and he can only break walls with the same color as him, he can also change colors (I don't really remember but I think he needs to touch certain walls to change colors)

3. You play as a samurai in a 3D world and you fights hordes of enemies, I remember that he could use a straw and spitballs as an attack.

thank you very much for your help :D

I've been searching literally for years for an old Macintosh game from the 90's. It was a 2D side-scrolling platformer, action-packed, the player selected levels from a hub world full of teleporters (game was futuristic). I remember one of the levels had robotic enemies that walked on long legs, like a strider. One of the levels was a very bloody womb level that worked vertically: you would work your way downward. There were ulcerations or something that would create giant bubbles as an attack. At the bottom was some kind of giant organ which acted as a boss, but if you destroy it it had a revenge attack where the bottom of the screen would be filled with blood, which would often kill me in a single hit. The player was a soldier of some sort and fired a gun as an attack. Whenever I search for it online I see screenshots of Abuse and think that Abuse is the game I'm thinking of, but it was certainly a different game, they just look similar (the environments in Abuse remind me a lot of the environment of the aforementioned robot-themed level).

I may have gotten two memories mixed up here, but I think that the icon was a guy in a blue helmet with a lightning bolt on it. It looked something like this:

(This is a rough rendering of it, of course. Going off of very old memory.)

I think that the hub area was really dark and had shades of blue. That's really all that I can remember. If anybody can help me with this, you'll have put an end to a search that has lasted me literally years.

Hello.

I saw this thread a couple of days ago and was wondering if a certain game is sauce-able just from the information I've got.

The game I remember very vaguely, it was a demo version of the game in a disk, something simillar to the NES ones (altho with actually different games not different saves).

It was a sci-fi 3rd person game with a story line going on (neither of which do I remember) and literally all that I remember is that it had weird physics so that you can send npc's around with one of the "weapons" and the most importnat thing that I remember is that at the end of the first level you pee'd in a well so that you poison the entire factory in which the story takes place.

If someone sauces this it would be a work of god simply because of the amount of information I have to offer. Time when I played the game would've been something near 2007.

Thank you so much in advance.

Hi. I am looking for this game on playstation 1, quite similar to tekken3 but you fought using axe, swords, small knives etc. If you blocked your opponent's main move, you would lose your weapon and would have to fight with bare hands. It took place in an arena and my favourite move was that of a character who used swords and this move would almost cover the whole screen vertically. That's all I remember. I would be grateful if someone tells me the name of the game. Thanx in advance.

Hey! I have a game that I NEEDDDDD to know what it is. This game has been stuck in my head for about 3 years I reckon. So...

I couldn't tell you when I played it. I was born in 1996 & I played the game maybe when I was like 4-7 years old? All I remember was it was a birds eye view game. Im pretty sure it was like a blocky game (as in if you moved forward, you would move forward 1 block). You played as a character that I think was male, & the most distinguishing part about the game is your character had this "Hammer" that he could throw but it was like magnetic. Whenever you threw the hammer, it would always come back to you. If you threw the hammer & then hid behind a block, the hammer would stay behind the block but as soon as you moved from behind it, it would come back to you. You had to go around killing enemies (can't remember what they were. Maybe undead) with the "hammer" & collect items (like keys I think) so you could advance to the next level. Im pretty sure it had something to do with like green & brown/yellow apples as well? Like you would find them & eat them for health but I remember them being red & brown.

Also I have never used a forum before so thanks for helping! Not sure if I will get email notified about a response so if not could you please email me? [email protected].

THANSK GUYS!! <3

OK Here goes:
I'm just gonna hit the main points:

Space exploration game.
Early Windows (9x or XP)
Possibly bundled with laptop (Toshiba Satellite)
Rarely any enemies (but you die quickly when you encounter them)
Small yellow ship in third person view
Purple(?) glove in first person with green(?) accents. My and my siblings mistook it for an alien for a good while. :)
Noctis has the most similar visuals (to my remembering), but is not it
One you die, you return inside a base and the doors open for you to go out on the planet
Finally, iirc, barely any direction, no text, no intructions
(maybe... this may be totally wrong)

contact in case I get no notifications: [email protected].

ok so i searched on the internet and only find some clues that this game exist, so i start to think i may have imagined all that haha here we go:

so it was a game where you were stuck in santa claus toy factory in the north pole, there was kind of a creepy ambiance, i think you could find dead elves laying around (or something like that)

it was a 3d game i think, but a point and click so not really moving around. it must have been around the year 1995-2001

if anybody know this game please tell me! i think i'm becoming insane searching for it haha

I searched all the terms I could think of with site:escapistmagazine.com and quotes on any terms I could find, and I read 100 pages of this topic with no luck. I've put in 20 hours the past three weeks looking for it... so please know that I did try my best before posting here and as such I am __super grateful__ for any help.

It was first person on a computer, a semi-educational game in the mid 90's. You were on an island (or was it a jungle?) and there was a bunch of science involved, for example there is a science experiment with droppers where you determine the bloodtypes of a few slides.
Movement outside these educational "minigames" (which I think you found by clicking on items displayed in the current screen,) was done frame by frame by clicking ahead on a path or at the bottom, which a new image overlay would show the zone you're "walking" in then. I m fairly certain you were the only human on the island.

There was a nest in a rock cliff-side by one of the main paths, and when you traveled on the path from the right direction a yellow-crowned penguin would hop down from the nest and look at you before waddling off.

Graphics were still images for most things (especially during movement outside of the "minigames", where you'd travel between "screen" by clicking on the path) but some things were animated simply such as the penguin and those droppers for the blood.

...I think I remember an easter island statue head, but I am not sure about that detail. And a rickety plank rope bridge. hrm... I think there was also a toucan at one point, just flying by.

The blood type thing had the slide in the center with two droppers and two spots of blood (maybe four? doubt it though.) The droppers would drip a chemical from their vial from the closest spot of blood on the slide and depending on how the blood reacted with each chemical you tried to guess the blood type. I think there was a note book explaining basics about blood and the like for educational purposes. It wasn't very useful from what I remember...

This blood type thing is what I remember most clearly because I felt so clever after figuring it out as a kid. I want to go back and beat the game :)
