Hey so I just found this thread and thought i'd give it a try. So this game was a game which I played once on my mom's computer when I was little. All I really remember was that all of the characters were cube shaped (i'm pretty sure) and that you were doing a quest or something. I think that the main character might of been a gladiator but i'm not sure. I also remember that it was quite a funny game and that there was a character without a nose at the docks I think and also some tree goddess or something. I also remember that there was a part where you have to sneak past a guard and wore a ninja costume. I would be really grateful if someone figured out what it was :)

Hi all

This game has been bugging me for years... It's an arcade game from the mid 80's

It's a side scroller where you ate dots. Your character has a pac man like head, but it's more stretched forward and may have had teeth. The head is on long legs that have wheels, you could move the head up and down (legs getting longer/shorter).

Any ideas?

I once played a game that was a 2D point and click puzzle adventure about a small guy wearing white "pajamas" living on a small floating island in space, the one I played was a sequel and the story starts off with him seeing another island headed towards his, he takes a rocket to the other island to try and change its course. I remember a part where you had to stop a bunch of noisy worms so this squirrel man would play music and wake up an owl so you could progress, near the end there was a part where you had to get past an anteater. The art style was like weird but I liked it. The name itself is weird but I think it starts with an A. Anybody know what it is?

Hey! I have a game that I NEEDDDDD to know what it is. This game has been stuck in my head for about 3 years I reckon. So...

I couldn't tell you when I played it. I was born in 1996 & I played the game maybe when I was like 4-7 years old? All I remember was it was a birds eye view game. Im pretty sure it was like a blocky game (as in if you moved forward, you would move forward 1 block). You played as a character that I think was male, & the most distinguishing part about the game is your character had this "Hammer" that he could throw but it was like magnetic. Whenever you threw the hammer, it would always come back to you. If you threw the hammer & then hid behind a block, the hammer would stay behind the block but as soon as you moved from behind it, it would come back to you. You had to go around killing enemies (can't remember what they were. Maybe undead) with the "hammer" & collect items (like keys I think) so you could advance to the next level. Im pretty sure it had something to do with like green & brown/yellow apples as well? Like you would find them & eat them for health but I remember them being red & brown.

Also I have never used a forum before so thanks for helping! Not sure if I will get email notified about a response so if not could you please email me? [email protected].

THANSK GUYS!! <3

There is a fight between 2 troop of soldiers..BLUE vs RED...We will be blue all the time..
we could control a group by draging across them and click where they have to go and fight..
soldiers will be of 4 or 5 types - walking , on horse, with fire...
If the head of our team died..He will respwan in between four pillars...

Hi. I am looking for this game on playstation 1, quite similar to tekken3 but you fought using axe, swords, small knives etc. If you blocked your opponent's main move, you would lose your weapon and would have to fight with bare hands. It took place in an arena and my favourite move was that of a character who used swords and this move would almost cover the whole screen vertically. That's all I remember. I would be grateful if someone tells me the name of the game. Thanx in advance.
Battle Arena Toshinden or Soul Blade (Soul Edge)?

I remember one with a male character that had a yellow-ish suit (i think). The game was 3rd person, 3D. There was a place where you could wrap to the stages, crash bandicoot 3 style. The graphics, if I remember right, were similar to the first tomb raiders for psx. As for the genre, I'd say it had an adventure feel. There was a stage in japan, with summos and another in the jungle were there was a bear. All the memories are blurry, though, I played it like 12 years ago or so... I played on my aunts PC that had windows 98 or 95.

Okay, so this will be an extremely vague description of the game I'm looking for, so I'm sorry about that, but I thought I'd give it a go and see if anyone can figure out what game it is from the small details I can remember. It was a 16 bit ... action fantasy?... PC game. Given when I started playing it, it can't have been made anytime past 2006-2007-ish, but that's not to say it was made around this time either.I think the story may have been told through textbox-dialogues, but again, I can't be sure. I remember the gameplay was carried out through different levels/missions, each of which you started with one of 3 (I think) playable characters. I seem to remember these being 2 women and 1 men, and for some reason the only way I can try and describe the man is that he looked like a buff knight version of Old RuneScape's depiction of Romeo. I can't remember what either of the women looked like, if I'm right in saying that there were two female playable characters and one male playable character. The basic gameplay was just going through the level/mission and killing your enemies. I remember the man having a sword, and I remember one of the levels/missions being titled "Sacred Knights". I seem to remember the game having a kind of fantasy/medieval theme to it (kind of like RuneScape funny enough), and I think your enemies at least some of the time comprised of ogres, goblins and such.

Again, apologies for the vagueness, and thanks to anyone who's read this :).

VERY VAGUE SORRY

I it s a very very old RTS. From the 90's for sure, one of the first fantasy RTS's. I remember it only had 2 races. They represented Light/Darkness Good/Evil. The races had big variety of units and tactics to handle situations. Orcs, demons and such for the Evil and humans knights (dwarves and evles i think). It had rought mechanics very punishing if you dont have good controll over your units. I'm possitive the units should be 2D sprites but with nice art.. kinda like Warlords Battlecry.

I searched all the terms I could think of with site:escapistmagazine.com and quotes on any terms I could find, and I read 100 pages of this topic with no luck. I've put in 20 hours the past three weeks looking for it... so please know that I did try my best before posting here and as such I am __super grateful__ for any help.

It was first person on a computer, a semi-educational game in the mid 90's. You were on an island (or was it a jungle?) and there was a bunch of science involved, for example there is a science experiment with droppers where you determine the bloodtypes of a few slides.
Movement outside these educational "minigames" (which I think you found by clicking on items displayed in the current screen,) was done frame by frame by clicking ahead on a path or at the bottom, which a new image overlay would show the zone you're "walking" in then. I m fairly certain you were the only human on the island.

There was a nest in a rock cliff-side by one of the main paths, and when you traveled on the path from the right direction a yellow-crowned penguin would hop down from the nest and look at you before waddling off.

Graphics were still images for most things (especially during movement outside of the "minigames", where you'd travel between "screen" by clicking on the path) but some things were animated simply such as the penguin and those droppers for the blood.

...I think I remember an easter island statue head, but I am not sure about that detail. And a rickety plank rope bridge. hrm... I think there was also a toucan at one point, just flying by.

The blood type thing had the slide in the center with two droppers and two spots of blood (maybe four? doubt it though.) The droppers would drip a chemical from their vial from the closest spot of blood on the slide and depending on how the blood reacted with each chemical you tried to guess the blood type. I think there was a note book explaining basics about blood and the like for educational purposes. It wasn't very useful from what I remember...

This blood type thing is what I remember most clearly because I felt so clever after figuring it out as a kid. I want to go back and beat the game :)
This isn't a Dr. Brain series game is it?

Hi guys!

I've been wracking my head and scouring the internet for days about this game.

It's an online game I played back in 2008-2009ish. I know my Final Fantasy games but I remember this one being a Final Fantasy game for some reason.. I could be wrong. It's not FFXI or FFXIV. I played this one on the PC and there were only 2 servers, NA and EU. I lived in SEA before so I recall not being able to play too well.

In this game, you can turn into a dragon, a knight riding on a horse with a spear or a giant. I think there were more transformations but you can only turn into one if you get a number of crystals with the dragon needing the most and the knight needing the least. I remember that there were factions in the game that you can join and they're waging war with each other and basically, your faction needs to expand the land you own by winning team fights. You can still grind the normal way without joining this war though. And there were classes like mage, warrior, thief or hunter.

I'm quite sure about the details but I can't remember the game for the life of me.. help!!! :(
Still looking for this :(

Hello!
I'm looking for an old PC game, a jigsaw puzzle type game. Instead of regular pieces, it had tiles, and the whole image was in motion! The pictures were nonfigurative images, I remember a fire-like swirl for example. So on each tile you only saw a moving-swirling piece of the image. Does anyone else remember it? Thank you! :)))

Are you sure that isn't Torin's Passage?

Does anyone have any idea what this game is? You were some sort of barbarian/bad ass guy and you could use martial weapons like swords and axes. You went around killing monsters, one of the final bosses of a level was reminiscent of a tomato. There were powerups of sorts. It was Turbografx 16/ Sega Genesis era, I'm certain it was on one of those two machines I just am not certain of which one. One of the levels looks like a small intestine.

Hi everyone I'm new to this site. I saw the topic and was hoping that maybe you can help me find a
old game I play long ago. I'm not 100% what it was for maybe the old commodore, And I think it was
on a floppy disk. But I'm not sure.

At the start of the game. It say "Hey David find the bomb" and then "Okay Boss"
You run around still you get the item and then you run back to the top.

I Hope there's someone who know what game I'm talking about.

I've got three old games that I looked everywhere and this is my only hope...

1. You play as a ghost in a side scrolling 2D world and there are 13 (I think) worlds, as a ghost you could jump on enemies' heads and press the down key and you would transform into them and then you could use their abilities.

2. You play as a ball that hits walls and he can only break walls with the same color as him, he can also change colors (I don't really remember but I think he needs to touch certain walls to change colors)

3. You play as a samurai in a 3D world and you fights hordes of enemies, I remember that he could use a straw and spitballs as an attack.

thank you very much for your help :D
someone?? please I'm begging you guys!!

So it has been a while since people have posted on here.
I am trying to remember a name of a PC game from the 90s/2000s. I played Math in the Real World and Spelling Jungle around the same time. This game was set in space or with lots of little round ball aliens that would squeal. All I remember is they would say Welcome to the Midway at the begining of the game or at the main screen. You were able to pick the different games you would play in different areas of this game world.
It is not Zoombinis. Please help my mind is going crazy trying to remember it

Hello

I have 3 games that i'm dying to remember them...

#1 a game called : The Adventure's of Smiley (or something similar) in this game there was more than a level (Space,Amazon, jungle, desert, underwater, and each level has a BOSS) the thing you play with is a green Half-Round thing no legs no arms with a smiley face (ofc) and every time you enter a level he/she/it says: SMILEEEY! some level had bees and some others scorpions snakes cobras and mosnters and one boss as i remember the jungle/forest boss i think was a MASK a flying mask. P.S. i can add more details if someone know's anything im talking about

#2 A Hotel room based game, you stand in the hallway of a hotel where there is more than a door that you can choose from and doors were like levels the only level i remember is there was a fridge with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and some bugs, and there was a red bulldozer (ball brick game) were you destroy buildings.EDIT: This game was a CARTOONY type game, and the room doors were twisted and bent,
While choosing the rooms and levels other character talks to you and make fun of you.

#3 crocodile/Dragon in a tower/castle, or something that's not the name but this on is easy to explain, there is a hungry crocodile/dragon in a tower/castle where you had to keep feeding it when it thinks of a certain food you had to feed it to it and something i remember about a chilli when you feed it to the dragon it breath's fire.

That's all i have for today, maybe more in the future. Thank you! :D
