There's an old PC game my family and I used to play. It was similar to Pokemon, i remember it was a shareware and it was on the same demo disc as "Beavis and Butt-head in virtual stupidity", gameplay is where you capture monsters and train them. The monsters were quite strange with equally strange names. I believe there was a rabbit , a jack-in-the-box, a cactus, a carrot, some sort of algae... the list goes on but my memory is failing me (hence my turn to this thread). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Is it BattlePets from Aggressive Game Designs?
Yes it is mate, thank you very much, i have been searching for this game, for like forever.
now finding out it has a sequel... aw my god.

Hi I was playing a game in 2003-4-5 very close to Re-volt game with a cars racing each other and going through question mark boxes with trick and cheats you can aply to the other drivers, like spikes, oil licks, bombs, laser beams and repairing keys. Its something like London driver, Revolt, burnout but it is not. Its very simple and funny game. You can split the screen and play again each other. Please, if you remember the name of the game HELP ME to find it - Thank you
Perhaps SpyHunter (2001)? You can see split screen gameplay in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPz4yj5_5A8

There's also a 2003 sequel, called (surprisingly enough) SpyHunter 2.

I remember a game I think it was for the PS1. It's a platformer and I remember one level is everything is oversized and there are platforms which look like musical notes and piano keys.

FOUND IT "Pause Ahead" actually, they are both the same

both are internet games, both really hard... the second one i remember playing on a specific site for it

1 is a platform game, the final boss is "Arkitekton" or something like that, i think you could reset the level, and a shadow of the player starts to run, doing exactly what you did... there are no enemies i think, only traps, but there is this boss

2 platform game, uses a mechanic to "pause" the game, but if you are jumping, you keep going upwards with the "momentum", even with the game paused... the last stage or secret stage is inside a door with the devil's face, and the stage is like inside the devil's stomach)

Hi! this was a nintendo cartdrige or kind of, back in 1998.The star was Mario the plumber, but I searched for Mario games and didn't find any clue about this one. So,there wasn't pipelines, nor castle, not princess, not "your princess is in another castle". There were several worlds or places in a map, and the language was some kind of chinese or something like that, that's why my sister and I never understood the story. There was a wizard who explained Mario things. There was some "Land" world, in which the boss level was a malefic pumpkin, that would kill Mario with its branches. Then a "water" world, in which the boss level was a mermaid in a shell, sometimes she looked good but then the shell closed and she appeared evil and send Mario jellyfish. There was a "air" world with a monster in a parachute, then a "terror" world in castle, with ghosts and mummies. then a "toystore" world with 3 big birds like cuckcoos and finally a clown. at the end (we couldn't finish the game) there was a boos level that would throw squares...So I think maybe there's a different version of a known game but with Mario as leader character... If anyone can help with any clue I would be very thankfull

Hello, I am trying to remember an old game. Maybe between 1998-2002. I remember you had 4 active players (maybe 3), one of them was a white robot and the other 3 where humans, you where some sort of task force investigating what happened inside some big corporation facilities. It was a 3rd person futuristic shooter. I remember levels kept going downwards into research labs and you started unsolving the mystery until you find a huge big boss.
That would be Project Eden by Core Design Ltd. Always wanted to see what would happen if four people tried a blind LP of that game...
YESSSS! Thank you very much!

Hello, iam looking one old platform game. In my memory... I remember that we r playing as a super duck or space duck, funny character in dark blue costume. Main character is a propably(?) thin, tall duck with muscles. We have weapon propably is a small cosmic pistol. I remember round in egypt. In one of levels we have easter egg, when we dies, we should see animation with Mulder and Scully who catch us in cage.

I think that's Crazy Drake by Neurotech Software.

All I can do is suggest these two lists: one is a list of kart racing games and the other is a list of games featuring car/motorcycle combat. Unfortunately they're both pretty big, but I hope they help at least.

Possibly Rayman [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9OveW2LQfE]?

(Music-themed stage starts roughly at 0:22:00)

Sadly no. The level I remember is not really musical. Its just that the platforms are in fact music notes. I think the theme of the game is less bright than rayman. Plus its a 3D platformer, sorry for not mentioning that earlier.

Hi, I used to play a game on PC in the late 90's early 00's. It was about a female wannabe magicians. You had to go on different quests to collect items and mix potions. I remember she liked spring onions, could turn metal in gold thanks to alchemy and met a yeti during one of the stages. Anyone remembers the title? It's driving me mad....

"The Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate (Book Two)" (1993).
One of my favourite adventures and recently I've actually started playing it again.

I am looking for the name of this particular wizard conquering the map type game:

This one has been preying on me for well over 15 years. It was a game for PC. It was in the years 1995-2001. My PC was running Win95 at the time, but I don't remember if the game was Windows or if it was DOS Based. Graphics were at least 640x480x256 if not slightly better.

At the time I had been searching the internet for a successor to Master of Magic when I found this game demo. At that time the game was not released only the playable demo. I don't know if it was ever finished or released.

I'm pretty sure the game was a top down map with constantly wandering heroes and monsters and maybe armies in a realtime display rather than turn based. Although in the same theme as MoM (a wizard controlling armies and heroes) the gameplay had little in common.

Of the graphics I remember them being quite bright and similar to Heroes of Might and Magic II but I think the individual heroes and armies were depicted slightly smaller onscreen.

The heroes had a fairly extensive experience point system, but you could not directly control your heroes. I think I recall you had to post bounties to encourage you heroes to go places and explore.

The game didn't stress city building very much or maybe at all.

While possessing elements of Warlords, Warlords II, HOMM, HoMM2 and MoM it was not these games. I've never played Age of Wonders but I don't think that's it. Nor is it WarCraft or Dungeon Keeper.

Ideas? Anyone recognize it or happen to have the demo in an archive somewhere? Wish I'd kept the demo but I was expecting the game to come out eventually. Don't know if I just missed it or it was abandoned. I thought it was being developed or produced by one of the bigger gaming companies like MicroProse or Origin but I'm not certain.

I think the demo let your heroes level up a small amount then froze their XP or possibly it only let you have one hero but promised more in the full version.

The demo was very polished and playable. Sound effects, music, animations, numerous hero types and monster types. I can't remember exactly how armies were implemented - but I think I recall them being independent of heroes like MoM not linked to heroes like HOMM.

Sounds like Wacky Wheels. I only ever saw the free version and had it on PC. It was a lot like Mario Cart.

Could it be Hard Nova? Were the characters just dots on the map?
