An old miniature golf game on pc, cant remember what version of windows I played it on but would have been 95-99.
Top down view with no player just the ball, there were bombs and lasers and the ball made a splash and a 'plop' sound when it went in water. Cant remember anything else haha

When someone asks about minigolf games from that time period, it usually turns out to be Fuzzy's World of Miniature Space Golf. Though that one is isomeric instead of top-down, so it might not be the one you're looking for... The lasers fit, though.

Hi,

In the game I'm looking for,

the atmosphere and style remind of 'SYNDICATE WARS' and 'Restricted Area' in some dark city

if I'm not mistaking the man character was a woman in blue clothing and a red hair...

it had elevating cars, and when you die.. a bunch of rats run over and eat your corpse

the game is around 98-2002 I think...

I remember it very badly...

please help

Asking for a friend:

Game 1: Golf game, likely to be PS1, but might be earlier console generation (MegaDrive/Genesis or SNES). The only thing she remembers is that when you hit the ball into a water hazard, a voice with a Frenchy-Europeany accent says "it's in the water!" ("eet's in ze wahterrr")

Game 2: Again, only a soundbite is remembered, but it's likely to be a cartoonish game on the PS1/MegaDrive/SNES. The character (probably when dying) says--in a voice like Mickey Mouse/Alvin & the Chipmunks--"I never give up!" (draws out the "I" so it comes out like "I-I-I-I-I nevergiveup!")

Very little to go on, but if those phrases jog anyone's memory, I'd love to know!

the game for the ps1 that I am looking for, it starts with a weird cutscene rotating around what looks like a big greek temple above the sky and the clouds, then a number of weird shadow creatures are seen standing in the hall while being approached by a bigger shadow creature with bright red eyes, the female Main Character then shows up with her friend a blonde girl and start talking about something, if I recall it correctly the main character is a girl with black/ dark brown braided ponytail hair almost like Lara croft's hair, and she uses a sword to fight off demons and other creatures, and she uses from times to times what appears to be a flying steel/ stone dish to kill off enemies from far away, a number of times the enemies will hold hostages in front of them, and if you get too close the enemy will kill the hostage, each time you reach a mission's ending the main character will jump a high jump and for some reason she'll just give you an opened view of her rear end, and if i'm correct as well as you progress your friend will be captured and you'll have to fight off a boss that looks like a man, but after confronting him he'll turn into a beast with a goat's head if i'm right and he'll attack you from the shadows , reaching this point here my memories stop , are those hints enough ? or you still need more? btw if you use a spinning horizontal attack sometimes the girl will scream stuff like [ lolololololol]! and when you attack vertically sometimes she may scream [ hiya!!!!!] that's literally all info I can recall

can anyone tell me if they know anything about such a game?
Hehe, this one is rather obvious, tbh. "Xena: Warrior Princess" (2001).

Hey, this is quite the shot in the dark but i hope anyone knows about this game.

Its a FPS horde survival game (demons, and other weird creatures) im almost 100% sure its singleplayer and the name sounds something like ".. in hell" but it isnt "No more room in hell".

There are 2 maps that i remember, one of them being placed on a old town (gas statio thingy?) that on top of the gas station there was a Grenade Launcher to pick up, and the second one was on some mine shafts where you could actually fall into a pit of lava.

Maybe "Painkiller: Battle out of Hell" (2005) which was the expansion to "Painkiller"?

https://www.gog.com/game/painkiller

The "Black Edition" does include "Battle out of Hell" and maybe wait for a sale or bundle.

I remember a game from the early 2000's (I was about 6 when I played it). I absolutely can't remember what character you played as but the game is an open (-ish) 3d world game where you collected bananas or something similar. One of the levels had dinosaurs and there was a cage you had to somehow unlock to get a banana and there was also a water part to this level. Very vague but any help is appreciated!

Old game from 1999 - 2000 ish? There's something about a red fox pirate and is 2D/side scroller. Captain Claw seems similar but doesn't jog the memory. Played it on PC but I'm not sure if there are other platforms you could have played it on. It may or may not have been a kids game, but definitely played it then. Thanks in advance + sorry for vague description!

I remember playing this game as a kid and it was really cool, I am pretty sure it was on the playstation 2 because it was the early/mid 2000s when I started playing it. So basically all I can remember is you played as four different characters on some sort of quest. I remember there was two girls and two guys that were part of the team. I cant remember much details of the girls but I remember one of the guys was nerdy. I remember some of the fighting scenes, like one where you are all on a raft floating down a river and you have to fend off some weird looking monsters trying to get on the raft. I can clearly remember many of the boss battles, the one that I remember the most is your group is in some cave and they hear a sirens song and the two guys get lured away and captured by the siren. I remember they made some innuendo about the siren too lol So the two girls have to go and rescue them and fight the ugly siren on a dock. I also remember you would sometimes play as one character at a time, like with the nerdy guy you got separated from the rest and he had to fight some spherical robot boss by himself. And the other guy had to fight some alien monster by himself and it would randomly do an instant kill attack if you didnt hide behind a wall. I remember that boss battle the most because it was so hard for me and I could never beat that boss, so I never beat the game. The battles were really unique and fast paced. It was such a cool game, with fairly nice graphics for the time. Im pretty sure the game cover was some weird symbol that was like red or white? I dont think it was a very well known game but I really enjoyed it. This has been bugging me for so long and I cant remember at all what its called, Id love to revisit it and try to finally beat it.

Ive been struggling to remember for few years, maybe more than 10 years. I'm pretty sure it's in 90's generation (skyroad, chip's challenge, Supaplex, etc)

The game i cant remember, its a 3d game, very similar to doom and wolfenstein 3d BUT it isnt one of them. The gameplay is very basic like the screensaver 3d maze. The control you could use is moving north/east/west/south with one button to shoot the gun, or casting the fireball, etc.

If anyone could recognize that game, please let me know. Ill appreciate that so much.

I used to play this PC game on a "1000 games" CD I had as a kid (from PCGamer I think?), so it's old (but not too much, '90s? 16 bits era looking I believe) and 2-D and small. Here's all I can remember of it: You'd play as wizards in a platformer, your point was to save some children and there was co-op option (different colored little wizards? unsure if 2 players or up to 4). The mood of the game was pretty somber and gory, you could die from spikes and such (I think there were giant boulders or something like that too), and instead of focusing on action it was pretty puzzle based (there were enemies, tho), you'd have to press levers to activate mechanisms and find colored keys to open same colored doors and etc., so you could find your way through the maze and reach the end of the level.
I guess that's all I can remember, here's hoping it's not too obscure a game, hehe. Thanks!
Bumping my old game that I think no one ever figured out (please tag/quote me if you do, ty! <3 )

It sure sounds like Donkey Kong 64 to me (K Lumsy is a kremling, a giant crocodile that looks like a dinosaur and is locked inside a huge cage and that's a big part of the game's plot)! Croc: Legend of the Gobbos also comes to mind but no bananas on that one AFAIR.

Pretty much a shoot in the dark here, but maybe Hexen (1 or 2)? Don't recall it as using a single button but it's one of the few in the genre that has magic + ranged weapons that I can think of. Good luck!

---I played it on MAME32.

---There was this mysterious looking guy in yellow(and/or blue), with a hat (i think) at the beginning of the game, i think it was an intro of the first level.

---Also, I think he was in an elevator or something.

---As for the actual game, I have no memory whatsoever what it was. It's just the "intro" that I can not-so-vividly recall.

Does anyone remember the 2-D graphic PC game where you breathe fire and solve puzzles and it's a dinosaur spelling type adventure game where he sometimes mumbles, "Where's the mother-in-law?"

Hey, fellas! So seeing that this thread is still strong, I had to comment on this.

The game I am thinking of is a PS1 game that my father bought me in '99 alongside Jade Cocoon and Star Gladiator. I really liked the game, but didn't get far in it at all (it got cracked in half by accident. Not because of game rage 😂).

The game was in 3D and it was in 3rd person. It started in an Artic/Antartic-like tundra landscape and I remember always having to fight off wolves at the beginning of this open-world level. There was also this Igloo/Cavern thing in this tundra that had what looked like ninjas hugging the walls until you got near them and tried to kill you? I dunno. I never got farther than that and kept on trying over and over until the game cracked a couple days later (I was 9 and never played a game like that before lol). The game also has this health system where every time you get hurt, you'd hear your heart beat faster and faster until you died.

Whenever I say this, people always say it's the first Tomb Raider, which it wasn't. I know for a fact it wasn't Tomb Raider.

Red fox...long shot, but could you be thinking of one of the Skunny games? (He's a squirrel but apparently quite often mistaken for a fox...)

Possibly Titus the Fox? I had it for the Amiga, but it was apparently also released on PC.

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for an old game that I must've played around the time I also played Lost Eden - so a while ago.

It was PC and realistic-cartoony. My few vague memories show me a first-person clickable "sideface" view where I'm in the desert with a blonde girl with (I think) a blue dress and I have to help her because I -think- she's escaping someone. There is a well we can go to but nothing to get water with, I just remember having in my inventory a sort of decorative hair comb that the girl's mother must've given her. I was stuck there for ages and never went further and it's been bugging the hell out of me!

There is also a very old one where you wander around a sort of high tech complex with similar graphics to the 3D maze screensaver, and there are bad guys and sometimes there are cages with electric-rays bars? I'm pretty sure either the hero or a category of bad guys is a dude in a blue tech suit with a big mustache and no it isn't a weird Mario ;)

Thanks everyone!
