I used to play a game in the early 2000's that was a brick breaker. It appeared as if you are looking up at the sky with four walls surrounding your view. Don't remember if it was always a view of the sky or just clouds. Anyway, there were bricks in front of you. There was a somewhat decent size clear square paddle that, as you broke the bricks, would react to different power ups including multiple ball and one where if you caught the ball, it would stick to the paddle and then click to release in a new location instead of just bouncing off.. There was another power up that allowed the paddle to increase in size or shrink. The power ups would come towards you and you would have to choose if you wanted it or just watch it get bigger towards you and disapper.
I have searched the web and can't seem to find any answer much less graphics of the game play. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has been bugging me for the better part of the last month.
Here's a list of breakout variants. Unfortunately, I can't find a list that narrows it down any more than that, and this list includes both 3d and 2d variants.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a text-based game which I played maybe 13-15 year ago.
Unfortunatly the only things I can remember are:

- The plot was around a strange fog that has covered all the land (or village?) slowly killings people, animals and plant. You start your desperate quest to solve the mistery of this fog.
- The very first scene of the game is at the entrance of an abandoned village (abandoned or with ghostly villagers).
- The game have a text-based interface with a little static image to better explain the area seen by the main character. If I remember well the movement actions were like go north, south, enter the house and stuff like that
- In one of the first encounter you can enter in a house and an old figure (maybe an old woman, I don't remember) start to tell something or maybe just smile at you and then vanish.
- If you just start wandering and idling at some point a message inform that you have been too much influenced by the fog and start an endless sleep (or just died, again I don't remember well)
- The game run on PC, not sure if dos-based or standalone
- The game is sort of horror or mistery-solving.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all :)

Hello everyone.
Looking for a pc 2d platformer, played it around 1995-1997.
Found a good description of it on another forum:

Platform(s): PC/Windows 98?
Genre: Platform/adventure
Estimated year of release: 1990s
Graphics/art style: Isometric/Top down?
Notable characters: Nuclear plant technician?
Notable gameplay mechanics: Run around trying to prevent nuclear plant meltdown. Avoiding radiation and you heal yourself by washing off in emergency showers.
Other details: You were a technician or engineer at a nuclear plant that's having a meltdown so you have to run around turning off switches, jumping over green slime and radiation, healing yourself in emergency showers.

I also clearly remember some sort of elevators running between floors of this facility.
Unfortunately, noone there remembered it, so may be someone here can help?

Hi guys,

2 games I remember playing in 90s/00s on the PC.

Right, can anyone help me. For the past week or so, I've been trying to think of the name of 2 PC games that I used to play when I was younger but I can't and it's starting to drive me insane.
1) This one was a 'journey' game where you moved your way through a 'island' and you had different activities to complete. What I can remember there was a scene/level with berries and you had to put them on like an Aztec-y type wall with monkeys (?), another with a mine and gems in it and another with a shed outside in the dark and it had a dish and a spoon and it sang the song to you. I'm not sure if you had to collect gems or letters throughout the game?
2) This one I can remember being blue and red themed and you played a little mechanic/racing driver and your aim was to build racing cars from scrap/parts to beat the main bad (?) guy. You moved up and down levels on the screen (a bit like snake and ladders).

I really have no idea if I've made these up or not but if anyone has any ideas, PLEEEEAAAASE let me know because I've just spent an hour googling stuff and nothing came up....
Your second one is Super Solvers: Gizmos & Gadgets.
Thank you so much!!

Hey guys, this is the one that's been gnawing at me for the last five years! I'll buy anyone who can get this one a pitcher of beer!

Platform: most likely PC, never had consoles, played this one a lot!
Genre: Kinda Action RPG?
Year: Probably no earlier than 98-99, but most likely 2000s.

Ok: So I remember it's an isometric futuristic game, and I'm 99% sure it's about being a mercenary. Mercs something? And I remember that between missions you'd go to a town, and you could upgrade your body parts, like arms and legs, I think by levels.

I also remember you'd have a lot of inventory management to do, different weapons and the missions were isometric Diablo style action rpg?

This is killing me! Argh! Help!

Thanks!

I need your help! I remember this game, I think it was for PS1 or PS2. Can't remember if it was 1st or 3rd person. Player controls a giant robot as part of a squad investigating an abandoned space station, the inhabitants of which are dead or mutated into aliens. Very mysterious, suspenseful, and story driven. I believe it had a Japanese art style.

Oh, man, PixelHunter, not this one. Thanks so much for helping me! Don't stop: I remembered something else: the city (the hub of operations) isn't an explorable map like this one, it's almost like those interactable screens in the new Starcraft games, you know? Like a static screen where you can go to the launch pad, the upgrade limbs... store, I guess, etc. I remember there being a flame thrower... Oh, man, this is for real killing me. I've been trying to remember this one for years, I swear, but now that I'm sharing this, it drilling my brain, lol. Thanks!

I am trying to remember a game my brother used to play in the late 90s early 2000s. It was CD rom game and I remember the CD was like a sea foam green. You were given different case files and there was a video you watched about each one. One had to do with a some bike accident and another had to do with a disease outbreak in a hospital. There was a female person who wouldn't let you out of the room until you figured out the case. I don't remember what exactly you had to solve. She reminds me of either Alex Borstein or Rosie O'Donnell But I remember you could measure the skid marks of the car and bike tires at the scene of the accident. You could test samples in a centrifuge. I've tried searching online for this game, but have had no luck.

Hello everyone.

So, there are two old games that I don't know their names.
Both are PC games, and about 15+-5 years ago.

1. It was First person shooter with A LOTS of guns. I'm not sure, but I think it was in a post-apocalyptic world (NOT SURE).
I remember 2 of the weapons were very unique:
- It was a big gun that shoots laser or something, and when it hits the enemies, they froze for a moment and then turn to dust and fall to the ground.
- The other one was a RAT! It was an explosive rat that you could control (Camera would go 3rd person on the rat). You could guide
the rat in the middle of a group of enemies and then blow them up!
The graphics of this game was something like Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. Maybe just a little bit better (or not!).

2. The second game is trickier! I don't know the genre, But the gameplay includes 2 witches (or some creature or person capable of magic) in front of each other. They took turns to attack each other, and not by close combat. They could summon other creatures in front of themselves to fight for them.
I even draw a sketch of the gameplay:

https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2017/02/07/Untitled.jpg

The background could be different. (places like a firey hell or desert, or a frozen world. places like that).
The graphics of this one wasn't bad. But it is an old game and not so famous. It was not 2D. The characters and backgrounds were 3D.

It would be awesome if someone could name these two. I'm searching for these names for years!

Okay this game drives me absolutely nuts trying to find out what it is, so any suggestions would be amazing despite my vague details.

This game could be either PS2 or Gamecube
It was a turn based rpg with cute 3dish graphics.
I remember fighting spiders earlier on in the game and running around a town (where i think the mc had passed out and was brought too) to do tasks for people.

This sounds like a generic mess so far.

The most memorable and distinct thing i remember is the whale creature. There was this really cute floating creature that followed you around everywhere. It had a crazy name and if i remember right kind of looked killer whaleish in pattern.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Right, im new to threads so if I mess something up here then i'm sorry :(

But i'm looking for two games from when I was in primary school a while ago roughly about 10-11 years ago.

One of them is sort of a puzzle game, you are...SOME kid who wants to work for this scientist who lives in a pyramid{?} and you go there with your sister{?} (The ? Are because im really, really, really not sure if they're correct or not :( ) I remember the first level you have to repair a Slurpee [You know, that ice drink stuff?] machine, because he tells you to have a drink while you wait, but the machine is busted because one of his experiments broke it. (I THINK.). The main enemy are (If memory serves correct) Robots, made by this bad guy who wants to sell oil or some crap. I also remember another level is you go into a jungle and you find a bunch of broken robots and stuff. This game lowkey used to terrify me as a child because the robots would randomly appear and start making a weird ass beeping noises and whirring noises so, I never played it to it's full extent. I'd just cheat and play a few levels, but it had a good style, puzzles and I loved the robots. I think the last level is you're on an airplane? Or a ship? And a robot is trying to cut open the door and you have to turn their power off or some crap.

And the second game is a game where you type to do things, but it's not text based. It does have visuals. where you have to solve puzzles in order, if you get the order wrong a witch appears and scared the bajesus outta you. Like I said, it was text based and I can't remember ANY of the levels. That is also a game from my school that I never used to play, because the witch would literally put me into a state of cardiac arrest, with her loud ass giggle and googly eyes. I don't really care about this witch game that much, it's more of the robot game. I would give you more info on the witch, but I can't for the life of me remember. So please SOMEONE help <3 Just put suggestions and i'll reply if they right or not ;-;

Hey all.

Looking for the name of a 2-D sidescrolling action game, where you were fighting zombies and/or ninjas and other baddies. You could move pretty fast and jump around, and pick up weapons like lead pipes and stuff. You could throw the weapons as well.

I remember going through a highschool, defeating a boss, traveling around a neighborhood, and going to a store to buy upgrades (snacks, sodas, etc.)

That is about all I can remember. Definitely an older game, but I want to say late 90's? Not really sure. The most accurate memory I have is going through the Highschool hallways, going into classrooms, and fighting baddies with a lead pipe.

Anyone have an idea as to what I am talking about?

Hello.

There are two games I am looking for. One came out around the mid-nineties. I remember it was around the same time as Heretic and One Must Fall: 2097, both released in 1994. It was like this adventure platform game where you are wandering around inside a platform-level themed castle with potions and you could throw fireballs. It was permanently dark and there was this bald green-robed magician or wizard you are playing as. I don't remember the name, only that it was like a fantasy platform adventure game, and released in 1994 or thereabouts.

The second is what an earlier posted talked about, the Pokemon ripoff where there are these kite monsters, bunny monsters, and various item monsters. You go into caves and forests to try and find them, and the graphics are 2-D and kind of bright and colorful. I swear I think it was called Cave Monsters or something. And a wizard is involved somehow. Then you head into this big town area.

Does anyone know what these are called?

three games i would be interested in rediscovering mainly from interest,

one is some sort of super old pc game where you play as a robot (from what i recall the body of said robot was box like meaning all limbs and head were all square) the goal from what i recal was to gather floppy disks or data for some purpose, i dont recal any sort of enemies or fighting as it in my head seems like some sort of puzzle/maze type game but there could have been enemies of some sort in the game but i believe it was if anything hazards as im fairly sure there was never a situation where you had to fight anything. if it helps when i played it was on my old win 95/98 pc unfortunately i cannot remember much else about the game or the players purpose in it.

The second game is also an old game but im fairly sure its not a "real" game i think it was some sort of rom mod/hack but maybe the description i recall is easy for someone to remember if they've ever seen it. what i recall of this game is it was a mario game, it was a download from the internet so its automatically probably not a real game, however what i recall is the first level, the music, and the style but cannot think of the name. the style was kind of 2.5D or top down but angled slightly, the player started as mario and could walk around in a grassy area with the music "bom-bomb battlefield" as the background (no its not super mario 64 either i checked) but aside form running around i never really figured out the purpose of the game as mario would run into "npcs" of various characters who would just be standing around and talk like an rpg but after a few seconds in game the screen would be filled with a row of "mario thrown style" fireballs which go from the top of the screen down usually killing the player if they arent in specific spots, i dont recall any sort of purpose or even tasks in the game and i know its not a super mario rpg game either as google image serch is helpful in reducing what something isn't, i still assume its some sort of rom mod or something i remember the reason it was found in the first place originally was because i wanted to play super mario world on my pc but my dad couldnt find the right thing and he ended up with said mystery game instead.

third game obviously by this point is an old one, but i feel its actually well known if anyone can recall it from a description which i will attempt to do my best to acomplish. this game involved a kidlike character pushing i believe generally round blocks to solve puzzles and get to the end of each level (i have been reffered to boulderdash and others but none are the correct games) the music of the game was childish playing yanky-doodle and similar others the puzzles were challenging as it was the basic push the block the right way to get through type, the game had enemies i believe on some levels but they could be blocked or squished. the level i remember most easily was one which was a checkerboard layout of the round blocks with the player at the bottom right corner and the goal in the top right which was a fairly easy puzzle which had no enemies. i belive the character said something whenever he/she moved a block.
