I assume you mean this game? http://www.mobygames.com/game/intellivision/night-stalkerParkerLewis31884 said:I'm trying to figure out whether I played Night Stalker on Atari or Intellivision or something else. I don't remember much and I have some definite but seemingly contradicting clues. I have a partial in-game sound clip so I hope it qualifies for the game-identification tag, even if we're in fact trying to identify a console.
I lived (and still do) in Paris, France, if that helps in any way.
My mother said she would place seeing me play this when I was about 2 and 1/2 years old, which would mean early 1987. But this could be a little off, obviously.
I 100% remember a small paper/laminated/something card that looked like this one. I know this one says Mattel thus Intellivision, but maybe the Atari 2600 or another version could have had similar overlays ?
My father flat-out knew the name of the game was Night Stalker, if that helps in any way.
Yesterday my mother clearly recognized the regular, deep, ominous beat sound that can be heard at the start of this video (once again this is the Intellivision version). This is also a 100% tell : she couldn't have faked that vivid memory. So the version I'm looking for had to have such a beat at least somewhere.
On the other hand, the "Intellivision" name did not seem to ring a bell with my parents, but they did remember Atari.
My father described the console with words like "gold borders" but couldn't remember much else.
So, did it absolutely have to be Intellivision ? Or could it have been another console from that era ?

I think that'd be Gearheads. http://www.mobygames.com/game/gearheadsMarko138 said:Hey im looking for a game i played on Windows 98.
It was a 2-Player on one screen kind of game and both players had a box full of toys, which they can send out on the field.
The field was divided by lanes, if one of the send out toys comes to the end of a lane the enemy player loses HP.
The game was basically like "Warlords" from Armorgames just with toys.
IIRC some of the toys are:
- Clockwork penguin
- Clockwork clown with a bomb
- Clockwork mouse (very fast but only 1 point of damage)
- Fly (?)
- Excavator
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me find this game.
EDIT: - The launcher icon was a green cogwheel on a black background.
- Either the publisher or the game had the word "gear" in it
I don't know about the first one, but the second one is Pajama SamApryl Forrest said:another one has to do with this little kid who's like this mint green color, he's some kind of creature but you can tell he's young and he's like in these blue footie pajamas with a red cape on. i think he has multiple games, but the one i remember is halloween edition, he like had to make his way through this scary forest. it's like a kid mystery game, you had to click objects and he'd do something or find something and you had to figure out what exactly to do with those items. i played like in maybe 2009-10.
Might your second one be a Pajama Sam game?Apryl Forrest said:so theres two games
one's with like this penguin i think on a ball and you gotta roll on these chocolate wafer floors? i some levels they move but you gotta like make it to the checkpoint or finish line. you were in the sky, just making your way down town (walking fast, faces past) on chocolate pretty much.

it'd be awesome to find those games again.
Not sure if it had sidescrolling but i think it might be "Peter Pack-Rat"daffy1234 said:I remember playing a game on an old Windows 95 desktop. It was likely a DOS game. It featured (I think) a rodent-like character. I remember at the beginning of the game, your goal is to make a series of difficult jumps to get to the top of the level. The first level, at least, had no side scrolling, only vertical scrolling. I remember there being all sorts of dangers that would kill you in one hit.
Ring any bells for anyone? Thanks![]()

It's of a similar style, but I remember the character model being bigger on the screen. There were also more than just enemy hazards. There were things that could electrocute you IIRC. I remember it being quite difficult, even for the first level. Also, it's a PC game, not Atari.Marko138 said:Not sure if it had sidescrolling but i think it might be "Peter Pack-Rat"
Hehe, glad I could help! I used to have that one and remember it being a ton of fun.Marko138 said:I love you <3.KaiYLowell said:I think that'd be Gearheads. http://www.mobygames.com/game/gearheadsMarko138 said:Hey im looking for a game i played on Windows 98.

Trying to find the title of an old computer game on CD, that I played long time ago.
It was similar to 'The 7th Guest", where you were trapped into a mansion full of puzzles to solve.
But it wasn't spooky, the environment was more focused on the art theme.
I remember one of he riddle was to play the record 'Ride of the Valkyries'.
By doing that, a npc in a little plane starts to attack something that was blocking your way.
Another one was to tune a living guitar, but it was tricky cause when you wanted to do that, she was spinnning her head to 180?; and if you didn't take that in account, you could'nt solve it by following the instruction you got.
I remember also, that once you enter the mansion, directly on your right is a wall full of pictures you can examine.
That's pretty much all I can remember.
Hoping someone with a better memory has played this game too haha
PS:
(Also I think the game box was featuring a monkey toy playing Cymball, but I may be wrong on this one )
