Ok, so I know this thread is really old but I've stumbled across it and I remember playing this Dinosaur game, which used to terrify me! You used to wonder around a museum, go to different exhibits and dig for bones like you described and it was called DK Dinosaur Hunter. I've done a search and someones got a video of them playing it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ogl47FoWco Hopefully this is this the one?

Edit: This was actually a response to a question posted. But I can't figure out how to reply directly to the poster!

I remember a game, where every level had a road, through which you must've made people, and their queen, walk. You had options of making them walk normal, jump, climb, everything.. but I can't remember which it is... if someone can remind me I'll be so thankful, so thanks in advance and hope you know my game, I'll check this regularly

Hello! I used to play in CD-ROMs magazines in ~2000-2004. I used to like to play a game from a Blue cd-rom from "CD-ROM's" magazine on my country. I don't know where this magazine picked the game from. I would like to know what's the name of the game.

♦It was like 2 toons in versus mode, 1 for each player, one fully blue, and the other fully red color.
♦ The main objective is to drop/ push the other player out of the scenario.
♦ There are a ground platform, and floating platforms too.
♦ The platforms are fixed. And we can jump on them.
♦ Sometimes some Power Ups appear in the stage, so the player can get it to help him to defeat the other player.
♦ It's a 2D game and it was a Demo version.
♦ The Background is black i think, and the platforms are dark blue or gray probably. There are a lot of Blue and Black, (gray too, maybe) on the game.
♦ The players look like some kind of soldier fully colored in red, or blue. Helmets and armor.

I will thank you so much if you know it and could answer me!

Hey
I need help with the name of a game I used to play around 2001 on windows 98. If I remember correctly, it had two explorers, the man would have to run through the map, collect a certain number of keys, and then find the jail where the female explorer was put in by a gorilla. The game was on 3D and, I think, in third view and there were 20 levels. The male explorer didn't have any weapons, he simply had to avoid the enemies by running or jumping. The levels were sort of thematic, some were desert-ish, others in a jungle and others in the middle of lava.

Okay so I have a game I've been looking for, for some time now. It's a Final Fantasy style RPG from the mid to late 90's possibly even early 2000's. I played it on a computer at my local boys and girls club when I was a kid. From what I can remember your character was a blonde boy but you could have a party of up to 4 people. You had to fight monsters like Golems and I believe Dragons. I'm pretty sure you had to either fight or got a little yellow baby dragon for your party. I can remember traveling to different lands, like one was a dessert and another was almost like a volcano. I can't for the life of me remember the title though and can't seem to find any info on it anywhere. Turn based battle system, pretty sure you could get a bird or something to fly on to go back to the places you've already been. I know it isn't Mystic Quest or FF 1 or 2, I've checked out a couple other titles that looked promising but nothing so far. Maybe one of the Dragon Quest games? Although I can't remember fighting any of the famous Slimes from DQ, anyways any leads would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have been itching to find out what this game was. It was the first game I ever played on my PC.

I believe it came out before Oblivion but, not too much earlier. The time had to be in between 2004-2006.

The game was a snowy RPG in an most likely 3rd person view. It took place in what I believe to have been a post-apocalyptic world and you spent a lot or all of your time in a city.

Hello, there! I have spent the past year watching tons of montages with games from early platforms capable of 3D graphics. The game I'm looking for is a 3D isometric game. I remember that each level had some logic behind it so I assume it was a puzzle game. The movement of the character was on a grid, so wherever you'd move the character with the directional buttons, it'd advance one square. By pressing Space they'd make the block in front of them disappear (the block had to be on the same level as the one the character was standing on. There were portals that allowed you to reach certain sections of the level. As enemies the only thing I remember were some Medusa ladies. I used to make a block disappear and have them fall in the hole. The block would reappear after about 30 second and it would kill it. Last thing - some levels allowed you to collect some golden eggs.

It'd mean the world to me if anyone would know what game this was. I've been searching it for such a long time and it's so frustrating. I was very small back then and I can't recall anything else.

So again, a 3D isometric puzzle game, disappearing blocks, Medusas, golden eggs, portals.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm trying to find out the title of a game as well.
Here is all I remember:
I think the game came out around ~2000. I think I only had the DEMO so I can't be very thorough, sorry.
It's either an RTS or RPG, can't realllly remember.
It was a top down view game (similar to Warcraft) where you could play as some kind of sorcerer who could summon bats, vampires, skeleton knight thingies and more.
You were also able to cast spells like ?fireball? I think. And if I remember correctly you could use blood as a resource (not 100% sure). I hop you guys can help me with this limited info :/
Thanks in advance!

I have played the game in first decade of 21 century but i dont even know that it is released in this century it could be released in the 90s.

Its a 2D platforming game about dogs. Its basically like a story mode/campaign full of levels that you have to beat but it doesnt actually have a plot. As i said before the leading character is a dog. The game can be played in splitscreen mode as well with two players playing on the same keyboard. Levels go from forests to farms to leaks and canyons. It has a retro graphics. You do not have any powers in this game you only get to eat like a bone or a meat if you run into it and replanish health and you can jump onto the other animas and take them out by doing it. In single player mode you play as a grey dog but in splitscreen mode you play as grey or white dog as far as i can remember. I played the game on PC. I dont know if the game was avaliable to the playstation or xbox or nintendo or any other console. Please someone help me.

Hello again.Since no one has identified my previous request, i would like to ask for yet amother game.I used to play a 3d game 10 years ago on MS windows that looked a bit like minecraft(with slightly worse graphics) where you would play as some block-like people and throw various shapes(rectangles bricks triangles etc) based on the color of your team to the other team's fortress and attempt to destroy it. You could control your character with WASD and run freely in 1st person or 3rd person and you could get more shapes to throw by destroying trees from what i remember.I don't remember the game being multiplayer because i played only by myself.Last thing i remember is that you could customise your team members(CPU) and decorate them with hats, angel halos and other things.

I recall that you're inside a building, solving puzzles. You can't leave, and for some reason you are hiding from a security guard placed near a set of stairs. It seemed like a mansion of sorts, but I can't be certain. I also recall a puzzle having to do with astronomy.

I've already ruled out "D", Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor, the 7th Guest and the 11th Hour. The gameplay is similar to those games though.

Any help at all would be wonderful. :)

Seems to match the premise of SimAnt, around 1991. You were a yellow colored ant leading the black ants against the reds in a top down (mostly) perspective. You started out in a corner of the lawn and worked your way to the house. When you covered all the land and defeated all the reds you chase the human out of the house.

Okay, I have one my Google-fu has been exhausted looking for... Its another educational game I played in the early 90s, I'm thinking in the '93 time frame. There were two I know of, both similar. One took place in the rainforest and you were going through the rainforest learning facts about animals and taking pictures of animals for a mission (photograph the "_____"), the other was the same concept, but it took place in the ocean. Controls were very basic, North, South, East, West; in the ocean one you could also dive under water and if you were not careful you could run out of oxygen. In the rainforest one you could run into poachers or clear cutters and loose as well. Thoughts?

Controls felt/ looked a lot like Nintendo's Shadowgate

Its been on my mind a while now. Thanks all!
Hmm, Some of those points match EcoQuest 1('91) & 2('93) by Sierra. They were both an edutainment genre game, though I don't fully recall if you took pictures in them. I remember 1 (the ocean one) you got points for cleaning trash, but I don't recall if you could drown in it.
