I remember playing this game around 2007, maybe 2006. It was a first-person sci-fi shooter for either the Xbox, ps2, or windows xp. Your primary assault rifle could be placed down as a turret and I believe the helmet your character was wearing had an ai in it, I think the gun had an ai aswell.
Probably Rogue Trooper.

So, back in the 2000s there was this spider-man game i used to play, it was downloaded, i remember that it was inside buildings and it had the old activision logo and i think there was a part where you could be black spiderman and there were some spider symbols or something, the symbol part iam not sure. It's not spiderman friend or foe; I've been looking for it, but no luck, hope you can help me. Sorry for bad spelling, english is not my native language.
There were two games around that time where I know you can play as black suit Spider-Man: Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Meanwhile in Ultimate Spider-Man Venom is playable, but I don't know if you can play as Spider-Man in his black suit.

i vaguely remember playing a game where the main character is a girl who has just moved to a new school and she hates someone but then things turn around until finally at the very end all her actions lead up to her meeting a boy on top of the school roof where she kisses him. That takes place on Prom night. the style of the game is sorta 8 bit, pixelated. All of the angles are directly facing you, not 3D. Also it's definitely a choose your own adventure game from what I remember because you can start the game over and not kiss the boy at the end. Please help me find this game as it has been bothering me for a super long time

So I used to play this cd rom game when I was a kid and I'm pretty sure it had 2 games on the disc. I can only remember one of them and it was about this goofy robot dog that was created but some professor guy and he had all these other dogs but they all looked the same and they kinda looked evil. I'm pretty sure the other dogs teased the goofy dog cause he was different, and I'm pretty sure he was trying to escape? Maybe? It had a bunch of like mini games in it. One was like this kind of chess board looking thing that was made of grass and had little hills and stuff on it and it was this maze, I think? (I was super young at the time and had no idea how to play it.) The other mini game I remember was these cars in a garage and you had to like change their colour and wheel type and all that jazz. I only remember one part of the other game, there was this kind of slot machine and you fed a coin into it and it shot out random props or costumes or hats to wear???
I want to say the game was from the late 90's but it could've been a 00's game, the graphics were pretty decent. Also could have been a demo? Sorry it's so vague but I've been dying to find this game for years. Someone please help!

Hi everyone,

I've been searching for years to find this certain game I used to play on PC.

It was an MS DOS shooter type of game, very similar to doom and blood, etc, with the graphics looking very much like rise of the triad. My most vivid memories are being in some sort of science building and there's a scientist working on an alien - who then jumps on and kills the scientist, smashing the glass. This is the intro to the game if I remember correctly.

There's a subway/metro type area too and as far as I can remember, not all enemies are aliens, they're human too.

There's a variety of weapons to use from pistols to an electric claw type weapon.

I hope this rings a bell for someone, I would be eternally grateful!
Bumped! Any help?
It sounds like Half Life. Although it's not a MS Dos shooter, it matches the description perfectly. It was the first game where the enemy (soldiers who try to hush up the failure of an experiment) has some AI by taking cover during an assault.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUDNiyOf92o
Sounds Half-Lifey, but with Doom graphics? Could be Corridor 7. Though no scientist-thrown-through-a-window + human enemies in that game, but uses the same engine as Wolfenstein 3D.

The first I remember playing it at the same time as Rodent's Revenge, Pipe Dream, Chip's Challenge, Jezzball and other games in the Microsoft Entertainment Packs. It is a sidescrolling platformer where you play some kind of young vampire kid. I don't remember much other than that unfortunately.
Weirdly, for such a niche topic, a very incomplete list exists on Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_vampire_video_games].

The closest game to the era + genre + platform (I'm assuming MS-DOS/Windows '95) from that list would be Night Hunter. You can change into a wolf or bat, apparently, which seems remarkably similar to Legacy of Kain...

Thank you both for the suggestions but it's neither of them :( the graphics are EXACTLY like rise of the triads, after further inspection!

2d game, you control archers on wooden platforms, point of the game was defending queen untill builders built a tower where she could hide, you could send off an archer to build and reverse, you had a percentage of progress in right upper corner, by proccessing in levels the game was harder and by level 4 they were also hitting you with catapults and so on. Only controls were UP and DOWN to aim, SPACE to shoot and some charts to fire up attackers with resin when they were too close to your wooden stands grounding them, and also controls for switching builders into archers.

Thanks in advance for your help

There is a game I remember watching my step brother play a long time ago I think it was on original xbox.
I cant remember a ton about it but here goes; I believe the beginning of the game started in a dark dungeon type thing and there was 3 people counting you, one of which was using a pole as a weapon. After something I cant quite remember happens, I think something kills your friends, you wake up in a village. Throughout the rest of the game, you can recruit all these different companions. I remember there was one that was a scarecrow, and I think a girl, im honestly not sure. At some point you switch bodies with what I assume was you worst enemy? The combat system ws cool, you walk into an enemy and the screen fades and shows you and 2 maybe 3 monsters. The character you play as uses a double ended spear type thing. Thank you to any answers!

Posting here for a friend.
A long time ago, he use to play kind of an odd/wacky platformer which he can barely remember.
He's sure it was either for the SNES or Genesis.
He said he remembers that there were these elephant-like enemies that shot colored balls or something from their tusks.
He can't remember if they were strictly enemies or playable characters.
That's about all that he remembers, although from how he described it, it sounded a bit weird and colorful.

One game I cannot think of but I remember having was this game of a young girl and boy. Maybe they were brother and sister and they were in this dark maybe haunted house and all they had that I remember was flashlioghts. The cd cover was some type of green and purpele. It was an over the top game so I know a lof of people wont remember it.

Another one I remember was on the PC with the main character being a woman with blue hair. And she had a friend that was a guy and a robot that was helping her. The battle system was turn based and you had to jump from one place the next. Also it had something to do with blue reactors or something that as well. I know not much info to put on these games but I hope someone figures them out.

Thanks.
Probably not what you are looking for, but purple and green make me think of certain Goosebumps books, and I know there were PC-CDrom games you could buy at Scholastic Bookfairs in school. Might be worth looking into. 2 I know for sure have Purple and Green would be Horrorland and Attack of the Mutant.

Hi all

Wonder if you could help me. I am looking for an old ps2 game , possibly ps1. it is a 3d shooter type game similar to siphon filter.

all that i can remember is that is in a futuristic type setting and you are a female agent of some sort. you are tasked into going to this underground city/prison to do something or kill someone and i remember that you had to take this huge platform elevator down.

I also remember that one of the levels was kind of like a game show with a running commentator ( possibly western setting ) similar to smash TV.

Many thanks

anyone out there remembers this game ? one other fact i seem to remember about the game is that the underground city's inhabitants were just criminals who were exiled in the underground city. with the giant lift/ramp being the only point of entry/exit

I'm thinking of an escape game I used to play on, gamesgames.com Probably around 2007. All I can remember is it was like an adventure game as well. It was in the perspective of the player that youre playing with. And at the end of the game, the player has to walk outside and into a basement i think? There were people in beige robes. It looked like they were in a cult. I believe they could kill you? I dont remember. Please help!!!

Well, I'll try again. This is an arcade game of the late 80's, early 90's, more or less typical sidescroller action game, where you could use several vehicles, anything from bikes to robots, and when your vehicle was destroyed, you'd control a tiny human sprite with just a gun.
A somewhat random guess, but... maybe Metal Slug predecessor Gunforce 2 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2KP4rjACXQ]?
not sure if its the same game , but i seem to remember this game as well in which you controlled a robot and the first level was like in a city and you fought other robots , plus there was also army tanks and tiny soldiers / civilians. The soldiers / civilians and your guy were tiny compared to the robots ( i mean smaller than the robots foot - like the difference between the humans and monsters in Rampage but even smaller ). I think it might have been a sega megadrive game or a snes game.

Sounds a lot like Chrono Cross, but that was on PS. At the start you are given random? set of the tons of characters you could recruit throughout the game (of which a scarecrow/straw doll is one), something happens and you wake up at the village. You also have the point where you switch bodies with your enemy as well. The main character does use a double spear type weapon.

Hmm, while I do not remember ever piloting anything other than a selection of robots, the game Metal Warriors for the SNES had the feature where you could exit the mechs, and you were indeed a tiny little sprite with a gun. While the first level was on a space ship, I do believe there was a stage where you fought in a city.

Hey guys I was hoping someone could help me out here.. I remember a game I played with my brother in the 90s I think. It was set up where you were a small Pacman like character , and it was a 2D format... However you could progress through each level and the levels would get harder and harder. I think it was more of increasingly harder mazes you had to escape. The goal was to chomp and eat all of the large dots. If I remember correctly, they pretty much put you in turbo mode for a bit after you eat them. The mazes were large and multiple levels ... And the progression of dots had a lot of small ones too maybe ? I know it's kinda vague but wondering if anyone could help me out.. the only other thing I remember is I'm pretty sure we were using the PC with Windows 95 on it.. lol. So, any ideas ?

Try looking up Pac-Man style games? I really can't think of any other game that plays that particular way.
