Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

I remember playing a game on an old Windows 95 desktop. It was likely a DOS game. It featured (I think) a rodent-like character. I remember at the beginning of the game, your goal is to make a series of difficult jumps to get to the top of the level. The first level, at least, had no side scrolling, only vertical scrolling. I remember there being all sorts of dangers that would kill you in one hit.

so theres two games
one's with like this penguin i think on a ball and you gotta roll on these chocolate wafer floors? i some levels they move but you gotta like make it to the checkpoint or finish line. you were in the sky, just making your way down town (walking fast, faces past) on chocolate pretty much.
another one has to do with this little kid who's like this mint green color, he's some kind of creature but you can tell he's young and he's like in these blue footie pajamas with a red cape on. i think he has multiple games, but the one i remember is halloween edition, he like had to make his way through this scary forest. it's like a kid mystery game, you had to click objects and he'd do something or find something and you had to figure out what exactly to do with those items. i played like in maybe 2009-10.

It's of a similar style, but I remember the character model being bigger on the screen. There were also more than just enemy hazards. There were things that could electrocute you IIRC. I remember it being quite difficult, even for the first level. Also, it's a PC game, not Atari.Marko138 said:

you travelled through all these quests trying not to fall out of the sky and balance on the ground. as a kid i thought it was chocolate maybe it's not but you had to travel all the way without falling or you had to start over. i swear it was a penguin balancing on ball.

I've got one that probably won't be solved! I have a pretty terrible memory (especially for placing the name of games when a level pops randomly into my head...), so I don't have many details. I did this a while back and people helped me figure one out. All I had was that there were guard towers in a ravine with some water and a base built into the side of a cliff and the first person to respond said it was No One Lives Forever which was correct! And I was about to replay both NOLF games anyway so I kind of wished I had just discovered it on my own. It worked that time with only slightly more info, so maybe this will be enough.

So! I have a faint memory of a first person game (pretty sure it was first person) and the level I'm thinking of took place at a train station (I think...it was some sort of station...maybe? Hopefully?). I don't think you were supposed to use weapons on this level or maybe the weapon was holstered during the beginning? I feel like I had a passport or something to show to a ticket person. I want to say it took place in WWII, but it could have been any time. And the level seemed to be in daylight, possibly in a desert climate. I also have a memory of a level where I'm in the back of a truck shooting other trucks with a machine gun and I want to say that it was tied to this level (but that could be an entirely different game since that happens in about 20 games I can think of!).
I glanced at some full game Youtube walkthroughs of random games I played around that time and didn't notice the level, but I could have skimmed over it. I checked Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Call of Duty 1, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I'm starting to get skeptical that it was even on PC.

Trying to find the title of an old computer game on CD, that I played long time ago.
It was similar to 'The 7th Guest", where you were trapped into a mansion full of puzzles to solve.
But it wasn't spooky, the environment was more focused on the art theme.
I remember one of he riddle was to play the record 'Ride of the Valkyries'.
By doing that, a npc in a little plane starts to attack something that was blocking your way.
Another one was to tune a living guitar, but it was tricky cause when you wanted to do that, she was spinnning her head to 180?; and if you didn't take that in account, you could'nt solve it by following the instruction you got.
I remember also, that once you enter the mansion, directly on your right is a wall full of pictures you can examine.
That's pretty much all I can remember.
Hoping someone with a better memory has played this game too haha

(Also I think the game box was featuring a monkey toy playing Cymball, but I may be wrong on this one )

actually i have another one, it's an arcade game, those on that machine with two joysticks and the buttons. it can be up to to players and it cost like 25 cents each gameplay. i used to play it with my best friend like in 2007. two, or one player, you played as these ships underwater i think, and you worked togehter shoot at these things. idk all i know is towards the end of each level there's a boss. one of the levels you're in like this underwater tower with artifacts and they start breaking down and falling i think after you kill one of the big bosses that's like hard af, and then the towers start to break and fall apart and you have to rise up and escape through it without getting hit. at the very very end with your partner, you two end up fighting each other and who ever destroys the other wins. and like anytime you killed something they like blinked before they died. idk if that helps but omg help!
Hi , I used to play this game like 10-12 years ago I think ?
It started off like in the main menu with a girl as a pirate and a sword and you were in the middle of 4 portals ,you had to choose a portal in order to play along , all which lead to a season in itself , spring , summer , autumn , winter.
It was kind of like 2d-3d can't really much remember it , but the enemies were like Eskimos in the winter part and there were husky dogs attacking you , you had to get past some traps/obstacles , the character swinged the sword in a rotary motion , the graphics were good.
it was kind of like Prince of Persia , tho it's not any of prince of persia's games , i checked , they are very similar.

I played a game around 7-8 years ago(it can be older than that) on my old PC where you are a bird going on a slide to meet your friend below and when you meet him you say YOO HOO,i don't remember if you control the stage super monkey ball style or you just control the bird,but i remember it showing the level spinning before you play it and i think it shrinksafter you beat it,also the demo version has just a purple snowy set of levels but if you buy the game(which i never did but i saw it in the menu after beating the demo levels) you get a tropical set(don't quote me on that)
