This specific game I saw someone ask about on here, but the post is nearly 4 years old and no-one responded. I'm gonna edit it to what I know was in the game for a fact, but still need help figuring out what it is.

"(Some of these details may be distorted or not completely accurate but I'm going off of what I can remember.)

I remember playing this PC game around 1997-2001, and I believe it was through the old Jukebox Shockwave player. The character was a guy with long shoulder length hair, possibly like dreadlocks, that were ginger. He seemed to be an average guy on a personal mission, And I recall him having like goggles pushed back through the front of his hair, (I feel like I remember him wearing some sort of surgical mask over his mouth, unsure though) and he may have been dressed strangely (I seem to remember almost like his clothes didn't really match well).

The one important aspect is, during the intro, you're greeted by someone who's identical to you. He says something along the lines of, "I'm your great, great, great, great (Etc, it either goes on for a long time, or has a "a few hours later" transition)" grandfather/grandson.

The game was sort of pixellated looking, but the graphics weren't incredibly bad for its time. This guy had a ship and was exploring space, (I distinctly remember if you hit the 'edges' of space, you get a warning that counts down since its out of boundaries) but I can't remember if his ship crashed/ran out of fuel, or if he was simply adventuring various planets, but Its seems like there was the option to go to other planets almost like in star fox, but more 2d looking. Also, the only planet I can remember him exploring was this odd desolate sandy mars-like planet (Which could have been mars, or a made up planet). It was a somewhat puzzle-like game if I remember, you had to do specific tasks in order to progress. It was also a 2d sidescrolling game, but I feel like the characters might have had a bit more detail to them, similar to Abe's Odyssey. Other characters may have been around, but if so they were probably like weird cartoon-y aliens. If anything close to these details comes to mind, even if its not exact, please share. I'm so eager to find this game, and I hope someone can help."

Hopefully someone can help, I've been trying to remember this game for years to no avail.

FOUND IT HERE!!

YES! Thank you so much! No matter how long I tried digging, I could never find any sign of this online. You're a legend!

I remember playing this game when I was younger. It was like a town building game almost. Of course you start off small. I don't remember a lot so bare with me. You could only see part of the screen and the rest was blacked out. In some parts you could find an Indian village and trade with them. If you are wondering in the wilderness and see a small herd of horses you can try to get them so you could ride them or use them for your town. You can find old structures as well. I don't know if this might be enough information bit I've been trying to find the game forever! Thanks.

I'm trying to find a game I played on PC in the early 2000s. Things I recall are:

- I played a female character in a dress (?)
- 2D game with rather square design
- controls: direction arrows and spacebar for jumping
- start screen with possibility to enter a level code to access higher levels
- one level was called ANTIGONE
- one level had a maze i a pyramid with stairs up and down, you had to evade white and red ghosts which killed you instantly
- one level had witches on broomsticks
- the music for one level (or maybe the start screen) was a midi version of Haendels Sarabande

Any help?
Please, I know it's not much to go on, but I'm desperate! I

Hi, thought I'd give this a go....

Don't remember much about the game I was only around 6-8 when I played it.. I'm now 29..

Anyways it was on the PC, quite basic. . Kind of like a civ game but not as advanced in graphics.. sa me sort of premise I think.. you could be the Romans or whoever and have fights with other empires, the fights kinda looked just like a square chessboard set up.. ships could get lost at sea etc.. Sorry it's very vague but I used to love it and it's been bugging me for years!

Any help appreciated.
these come into my mind:
Ceasar
Sid Meiers Civilization
Age of Empires
and...
Populous

I've been trying to find a game for a while I used to play in my early childhood from the late 90's-early 00's. I remember it being similar to the Sid Meier's Civilization series and it had a hex-based grid. There were like units on the grids, such as a blue man or something (I think). The one thing I remember the most is that when a unit died, a grave would pop up and it says 'R.I.P' and it stays there for a while. I used to play it on one of the early Windows machines, can't remember exactly which one. I think it was the XP.
Sounds very similar to what I am looking for!
Still looking please anyone!

maybe The Battle for Wesnoth?
Na I don't think the graphics were as good.. it was very basic and looked like it had been done on paint more than amy thing.

Yeah 22 years is a long time. So about 95.

Must be DOS than, if not on Amiga/Atari. Was it squared or Hex based?

If HEX than also Battle Isle comes to my mind, but that is more warfare like C&C than Civ.

Or Master of Magic (as the name says, more Magic than civ).

Do you remember anything else...?

All I remmeber is that you have legions etc.. ships but they are no ships just blocks with a picture of a boat.. legions or armies were like a horse chess piece picture.. in a blue hex I think.

I remember the guy also had command and conquer installed aswell so around that time maybe?

It's very vague.

I need a 2D Browser game from the late 2000's.

So, let me explain it. There was a game that I played, it was a browser game but there were no fights, I think there were missions / quests to do and there were different worlds / locations to explore. I remember one where you become an agent, there was a world where you become a pirate etc. You could change clothes and take the npc's clothes for yourself. You could take everything from an npc to yourself.

The game's art style, I'm not so sure but I think it reminds me of Scribblenauts. It was a kids' game but it was really fun. The art style and the way we walk in the game resembles Scribblenauts. I just can't find the game and I feel like the name had "Worlds" or "Lands" but I'm not really sure. Help me!

Edit:

Also I felt the need to add this, the game was normally single player like I guess, but there were different lobies, one of them was a museum and you could interact with other players on that room. Hope that helps.

Hey

Wondering if anyone can help me PLEASE!

Back in the day there was this strategy board fighting game where you can play and 4 characters 2 woman and 2 mean (good guys was a water or ice woman and a fire guy) (bad guy an earth guy and I "dark" woman her colour was purple) the board was st up like chess, with different boards to play on but the only way to win was beating the main opponents character (one listed above.) There were dragons and centores and other playable beasts along side the main character you chose, it was a 3D animated game and had really good graphics too. If anyone could help that would be awesome

The game was on the original XBox as well if that helps

Thanks :)

I have a really vague memory about this game
It was something about a dragon, you start off as a baby dragon then u slowly collect eggs or something to evolve.
There are 3 stages; when you're a baby dragon, you can't fly, as you evolved to mid-stage you get to fly for a small distance (if im not mistaken) and when you becomes an adult dragon, you get the ability to fly.
Its a 2D game, Im not too sure whether its a computer game or gameboy game as I used to play gba games on computer using emulators.
Can anybody help please?

Hello guys.

First, sorry for my english, im not a native...

So, these days i was trying to remember a game that i played when i was 5-6 years old. Im now 19, so its been a long time ago.

It was for computer, and it was kind lika an adventure game, you should do the missions and complete the game.

So here is what i remember of it.

The character wear something blue and he got big hair (i think, i dont really remember it)
There was a Dragon in this game, and in some part of the game, the dragon get sick, and you got heal him. So you got found a item to heal it, and when the dragon its heal, some Heart come out of it, like an emoticon on top of dragon. (I think the item was a flute, but im not shure about it.)
There was 1 mission that i remember where it was something like inside a house, a room, or a castle, or something (i dont remember, i only know its inside somewhere), and you gotta walk trhough an invisible GROUND, and you got follow the right steps to not fall. And you got get to the other side. If like you gotta turn to right and you move to left, you fall and got start over again.
The camera of view in this game it was something like MU Online, you know? You see from the top of it...
Like this game: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--PcXFImJQ1k/VbfnkTgSz9I/AAAAAAACAfI/_TCpKboP0uo/s1600/Grandia%2BII%2BHD%2BEdition%2B-%2B07.jpg (the camera) I think this kind of camera its called Square, or something.

So guys, can you help me? I've been looking for this game for like years, and never founded... i tried a lot

Hi guys.

I just registered to find out the name of a game I used to play when I was very young. My mother also played it. She probably wouldn't know what I'd be talking about if I asked her, though.

This game is from one of those memories that are from very long ago and its just a single 'frame' you stare at in your mind. All I remember is it is a platformer game. I believe you could collect keys to open doors, too, to get further. I don't remember anything about enemies. I do remember (not sure if this was far into the game) a level with lava in it. You looked at your character from a birds eye view. Imagine Xcom, something like that, but it had nothing to do with strategy. It was just a simple platformer. I believe the character was a very simple white, baldheaded dude with either an orange or a blue t-shirt.

Not much to go off here. I'm still looking. It'd be awesome if you guys could help out a stranger relive some nostalgic memories.

Regards,
Bas
