Hi Guys,

After googling for hours i gave up and came here maybe someone remembers it. It was a strategy game where you controlled bald header people that were separated into 4 different classes (Builders, Scientist, Military and Breathing ) You could build and upgrade the specific houses that will produce power for the classes. Builders made your building build faster, Military gives you stronger warriors, Scientists allowed you yo use special powers (mines, balloons, traps,ect..) and Breathing gave you more people to work with. You are battling on a terrain versus similar PC controlled groups.
Thank you
Hi,

Hi everyone

I remember playing this *arcade* game back in 90's. It was a beat em up game with a fantasy feel I think. I can't remember much from it but there was this very distinct scene:

When you were about to start the game or when you had died there was these game over / starting scene in which there was a girl captivated and hand cuffed in some kind of prison with stone walls very similar to a well and there was water pouring inside slowly to fill up the prison and kill the girl.

I guess the purpose of the hero of game was to somehow rescue the girl before she get drowned.

Sorry I can't remember anything else. I have searched a lot and found nothing, please help me... :(

The game I am looking for,I am pretty sure was on a sega console though I am not sure which one and it might have been on ps1, this would have been late 90s maybe early 2000, but definitely before xbox came out, it was an RPG and you were a young male hero out to save a princess at the start, but then it kind of evolves into saving the kingdom after you save her, i believe the characters almost looked like super early final fantasy sprites when traveling like kinda short squat little things, and there were lots of major scenery changes as you went to like magical realms and different areas of the kingdom, there were lots of little unique items and weird powers you could get to help navigate puzzles and combat, and one as silly as it was, was a ring that would turn you into a beaver type animal.
This sounds very much like some of the Dragon Quest games. I know that Dragon Quest IV was re-released on the PS1 and I seem to recall you having to use the "mod rod" to turn into an animal at one point.
So close, i watched some gameplay, and the beginning had me thinking it was the right game, but it was definitely a ring that turned you into a beaver, and I dont remember ever switching characters or having party members, everyone was either a basically a quest giver, store, or enemy other than your character. I could be wrong on party members, but definitely a ring that turns your character into a beaver, and definitely the main character saves the princess and delivers her to the king, whereas in dragon quest 4 the princess leaves the castle and joins the main character later.

Ok, so I have two games that are really bugging me. Just spend the whole day traversing google to find either with no success. I played them when I was pretty young so only have faint memories of them (like a dream).

Both were PC games on an old windows computer we were using between 2000-2007ish (I don't remember the exact years soz). It might've been from a CD or installed by default.

The first game was a 2D topdown puzzle solving game where you were this robot (that had arms and a square face i think) that moved around a map and had to do something. I distinctly remember having to roll a while ball/boulder as part of the puzzle.

The second game I remembered having heaps of fun on even though I could never get past the first part. It was a 3D Sci-Fi game. There were these droid like robots (they didn't have arms or faces, just machines really) that fired lasers (i think, I do recall them making mechanical whirring/robotic noises). The only part I played was indoors in a pretty much mettalic room. I think I recall part of the gameplay being isometric cuz I could see robots and they were closed of in a L like bend of walls in the centre of the big room. I also feel like part of the game was first person cuz I recall trying to appraoch the robots and dying. Otherwise it looked amazing and I would kill to know it. The graphics for this game I recall weren't even bad, but that might've just been my first experience with 3D games lol.

Sorry for the vague descriptions. My mind might have dreamt up bits over the years to fill the gaps on what I've forgotten, but any pointers on things that match my descriptions are fine, even if they're older then 2000 cuz we might've bought that PC secondhand.

OK, so the game I remember but can't think of the name of is an arcade game from late 80s early 90s. You would start out with a character and would fight different people and could rescue a another character who would join your side and would fight with you. You could keep saving other characters and adding them to your line of characters. Can't think of the name of the game or maker. Was hoping to find it on MAME.

Not sure if either of you were able to find the game or not, but I'm pretty sure it's called Otto's Magic Blocks. https://www.wildtangent.com/games/ottos-magic-blocks. My brothers and I use to play this game all the time, I tried looking online for it and my brother was able to remember what it was. Hope this helps

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN OLD GAME that I played on my computer for A LOOONG TIME!!!!

I remeber my dad buying a new computer in the early 2000's and it had a bunch of games already installed.
It had trials of games, you know the ones that you can only play like 5 times before they ask you to buy it.

The one im looking for is like a 3d game where you're in the sky/air. there are lots of pink clouds around and you could fall off if you missed a block.
The floor is made of blocks and you control this little pink blob looking thing, with the arrow keys. You have to make him jump on the blocks and it turns them into a gold color.
You have to turn all the blocks gold to complete the level. And i think you can make him land on blocks with cherries or cakes to power up and it has different effects on how many blocks you can change at a time.

That is all the game was, just a little pink thing that you controlled to turn all the blocks gold.
I remember a lot of pink, like it was for little girls. And blob had huge eyes! it didn't look anything like Kirby tho if anyone is wondering. and it looked 3dish.

HELP ME!!
Any clues yet, folks? I'm trying to remember this one too. The computer was some kind of Dell xps thing from the early to mid 2000s.

Different cubes in the game had different properties. Some would fall away when you jumped on them, some would cause you to slide, and some had treats like cupcakes or fruit that would give you powers (I think). I don't remember what the enemies looked like, but I know that one of the boss battles was against some kind of lightning storm. I also recall lots of stars or clouds along with lots of pink and purple. I've asked my sisters if they remember the name (we all played through dozens of levels of this thing), but they can't remember yet either.
Not sure if either of you were able to find the game or not, but I'm pretty sure it's called Otto's Magic Blocks. https://www.wildtangent.com/games/ottos-magic-blocks. It wasn't fantasy, but that water scene sounds like the continue screen from Final Fight 2. Whoever you chose to play as ends up there after losing too many lives, including the female hero Maki.

My memory of this game is hazy, but from what I do remember, it is a sidescroller shooter/labyrinth game. I seem to remember the color scheme being mostly grey, blue and purple/pink. Your character is small on the screen, can jump and shoot and there is a large robot/mech that you can encounter early in the game.

It's not a lot to work with, but if it rings any bells, I would greatly appreciate suggestions.

By a miracle, I was able to find it. Turns out my memory was completely wrong.
The game was MicroMan - Adventure 1.

Thanks for the reply. This isn?t the game I am thinking of. It wasn?t a side scroller. Was sort of a fixed area and you could have 6-10 people following you like a conga line.

Hi all, hoping for some help here!

Played an old game in the 90's, set in a haunted mansion. Dark graphics, basically would show you the image of a room, lots of blue and black. I *think* it was text command based, but may have had some presets. I distinctly remember opening a cupboard and having to grab a moving matchbox, a lab downstairs that would jump scare and kill you with a snake if you did the wrong thing, and a creepy curator out the back digging a grave that would follow you and chop you up with an axe. Any help here would be great, generic "haunted mansion old game" searches have been fruitless so far, and I'd like to dig it out for Halloween!

I've skimmed hundreds of pages on this thread in hopes someone else has been searching for the same game, but it seems I'm not so lucky! So!

The game I'm looking for was an old internet browser game from CoolMath.com or an extremely similar online gaming website back in the late 90's/early 2000's; it was a top down pixel adventure style game with a vague Halloween/monster kind of theme to it where you played someone that had to retrieve monster dolls [ specifically I remember a Mummy, Vampire, Frankenstein, and Witch doll- but there we're more, I could never play/beat the game well enough to retrieve them all without dying ]and return them to a little girl in a small village. There was a vast forest surrounding the village along with a swamp that you had to go through and find the various locations where the dolls had been taken to- I vividly remember the Mummy doll being in a house/cellar at the very lower bottom of the screen, but was surrounded by bats that attacked you the second you entered the house- so you either had to fight your way through them, or run in and grab it and run out before dying.

I believe, as you got the dolls and returned them, you we're given either a new power-up or a weapon that made you stronger and better able to get the other dolls. I do remember the colors being very dark and the game was extremely hard for a web-browser game. Like I said, I could never finish it, but I was obsessed with playing it as a kid.

The memory of this game has haunted me for years and I'd love to try and find it again since all web searches have taken me nowhere- well, they actually keep bringing me back to this thread. Guess that's why I'm finally caving and asking.

Looking for a old pc game i played about 10ish years ago.

I vaguely remember the opening and remember a brain that was punched or hit by a child i think.

It may have been a sci fi as i remember the opening part of the game involving walking through a lab hallway to a shooting range where you could try out your characters gun and powers which was to shoot a fireball.

In the early 90s I played a game at someone's house on the PC. It could be an 80's game. The game would allow you to play co-operatively with at least three people when the computer was working properly - 1 person on the mouse, one using keys on the right side of the keyboard, and one using keys on the left side of the keyboard. There was a warrior character, a wizard/mage type character, and I believe a female archer. Maybe there was one more, not sure.

In the game you would go around a 2d maze type level killing things and getting food and potions, and eventually finding black holes that were exits to the next level. I remember at least some of the food looked like a big, roasted turkey or something like that. I think there were pigs lages or something as well. I remember I had an insane amount of fun on it, but was upset that we could only play with two players on the computer.

If anyone has any idea what game it could be, that would be awesome.

Sorry about the multiple posts. The system was being slow so I hit the "I agree" button multiple times. Now I can't figure out how to delete the excess posts.
