Hi there, looking for a game from my childhood. It was probably from the late 90s to early 2000s. Reminded me of a Reader Rabbit game, though I've searched that and found nothing. It was a 2D point and click adventure style game. PC. Here is what I remember:

The premise was of this young boy that like shrunk or fell through a portal in the floor of his messy bedroom. He was then transported to another world, with a much darker aura, with a big mansion on the other side of a large crevice. To get to it there was a rope with like 3 or 4 baskets on it. You would get in one and throw rocks into the others, using gravity to get you to the other side, if that makes sense. Inside the mansion you had series of puzzles and quests you would go through, ultimately to go home - but I never made it far enough to see the end. I remember some distinct things like these 3 trees on an upper floor of the mansion that would give you trivia questions. One asked for the current president. The questions were simple and obviously for kids. There was also a fridge with strange fruits and such on a lower floor. You could also leave the mansion and go down into the valley, were it was sunny with a old west feel. There was a shack at the bottom near a waterfall, and it had a can of oil in it.

Sorry if this is kinda vague, I haven't played it in over 10 years. If anybody has any clue what game this might be that would be amazing!!
Definitely Pajama Sam: No Need To Hide When It's Dark Outside [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI1zDxvPjeo]. =D

The playthrough I linked might be a little different than you remember it, because the locations of the items and the puzzles to get them are slightly randomized for more replayability. Humongous Entertainment's adventure games were cool like that. =)

Hello my dear nostalgic paws! I've been thinking about a game which I believe was on PS2 maybe even on a demo disc. It was a strategy game and quite a sci-fi type. You had either a Blue base or Red base and you had to fight your ennemy with tanks or choopers, or maybe the choppers were just to defend. Your units would move maybe automatically from wherever you spawned them, I think you also had to capture checkpoints or destroy turrets maybe both on your way to the ennemy base. The map looked like a black maze and I remember a quite mechanical voice saying stuff like "Base Blue attack Red". At some point of the game you can have a heavy armed tank almost unstoppable or a super-chopper. There we go I said everything I remember. Thanks in advance for your help!
Did you play as a mech that could turn into a hover-car? If so, you're probably looking for the Precinct Assault mode from Future Cop: LAPD [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6L5DMVWP0AM]. There was also a bigger campaign/story mode that could be played with 2-player co-op. It was a fun game. =)

Anyone remembers the game in which you played as a woman
I believe the first stage was set somewhere in asia, you were against some female ninjas, and task was to take some pictures of something that I believed was a meeting. After that was done you would be in some snowy stage (I always assumed it was Russia) and I don't remember anything past that point

Some details that I remember from the game is that in first stage there were some cat things you could find around the map, I think they were bombs or something. There were female ninjas in orange outfits and red outfits. you could pick up weapons from opponents (in first stage they were ninja stars, swords and similar) and you started out with a crossbow I believe.

I remember this one NES title that was some sort of fantasy game, with a side-scrolling portion (a sizable portion of the game, IIRC, with a section in a vertical forest) and a top-down portion. It kicked my balls back in the day, but I've always been fascinated with it and I could never quite find out its name. Considering I've been on a bit of a nostalgia kick lately, it's driving me insane, especially because I can't quite recall if it was a popular and significant title or if it was one of those obscure games only a handful of people have played.

There's a game I remember from around 10 years ago with supposedly microscopic creatures that you could battle with and evolve through gaining certain parts, mostly through paying, but still a really fun game as a kid. This was all online on a computer. I can't remember if you could download the game and install it or not but I'm pretty sure you could. I know the name has something to do with really small units of measurement such as micro or nano but I can't put my finger on the whole name no matter how hard I try. Any help my dudes? I would greatly appreciate it :D

Hey guys, I've been on and off for many years trying to find this one game I recall playing late 90's, probably beginning of 2000.

The main protagonist you played as was this pirate fox/squirrel-esque figure. First level was in a setup that was very cartoonish but on a pirate ship, later you traveled through different worlds like some snow world, and one that was maybe old chinese, or even inca/mayan themed. I think you had to pick up a certain amount of gold coins or something in order to proceed to the next world, but I might be wrong on this one.. :) I recall the game being for that time quite fast paced and a bit like donkey kong country or even rayman in terms of gameplay. The name might have had something to do with swashbuckling, or maybe the main hero's name started on S?

I would be so darn happy to find the game again!
Is this maybe a Skunny game?
HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT'S UNHOLY! Thanks a thousand times buddy!!! It was Skunny Special Edition! Wow! I never thought I'd see this one again! :D

Hi everyone! So there's this one game that has this scene that is vividly stuck in my head, but for the life of me I can't remember what the game was called or what it was exactly, but this was probably for the PS1 around the late 90's early 2000's also.

So I don't remember too much about gameplay, it could have been an RPG, maybe a castle environment thrown in there as one of the areas you explore, but I think the game had occasional 3D cutscenes for plot then maybe switched back to regular 2D/3D gameplay. But the super vivid scene I remember about it was I think there may have been a (blonde?) guy who was running away from something I think in a garden, and there are these thorned vines/thorned rose bush chasing after him and eventually the guy gets turned into stone for some reason, and I think it may have been an epidemic in the game to turn to stone? It was a really solemn and dramatic scene and then I think it cut to the gameplay afterwards. So far it does not seem to be Final Fantasy 8/9, or Dragon Quest 7, but omg if this sounds familiar to anyone I would love you forever. I think the cover of the game maaaay have resembled Finally Fantasy 9? But I could totally be wrong on that.

Any help would be so much appreciated :,,,)

So you've watched this scene from FF9 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr0emoqdasw] and confirmed that's not it? 'Cause I immediately thought of that, too. =x

Greetings fellow old-timers.
I came here looking for a game I played in late 90s/early 2000s.
It was a PC 3-D action-platformer, mechanically reminescent of Rayman 2, but the main character was Donald Duck. One of the "boss" level was an escape through some lava temple. And no, it was not Kingdom Hearts - of that I'm sure.
So if anyone would come up with a title, the shall have my lifelong gratitude.

Was it Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hPrkFvcDOA]? According to Wikipedia, it was even "built on an optimized Rayman 2 engine." =)

Hey guys, thanks for creating this thread because its driving me mad.

It was a game, kind of action/survival 3d-person iirc.
The game started where you (as a female) responded to an emergency call.
You where not police, but some kind of other devision. I think she also had mind-powers.

Arriving at the scene everyone was dead, also they swat team the send in before you. It was a really horrible bloody scene.
Later on in the game monsters became invisible and more.

Looked realistic (not cartoonisch I mmean), it also had a kinda jap/kor feeling to it.

The cover was whitey, with the female protagonist also on there iirc.
I dont recall what console it was, but it has to be xbox, psone or ps2

Also the title, I think it had something with 2 in it, or part, as if this game was a part two? Never played part one, though. But I could also be mistaken..
That must be "Parasite Eve II".
Yes thats it !!!!!

Thanks soo much!!

"No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way" (2002), such a nice game.

While I'm here, there is another PC game from early 2000s I can't quite recall the name of, although I remeber it being silly.
All I remeber it was 2D action/platformer/puzzle game (most likely). There were two playable characters and I believe they were named Eastwood and Van Damme.

Probably Robosaurs Vs. The Space Bastards [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC4zcVJK_w4]. It had Connery and Campbell as playable characters, too. =)

Oh MY GOODNESS I THINK THIS WAS IT!!! I think I just didn't use the right search terms so I wasn't able to find this exact scene when I looked at FF9 ;o; Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver! This has been like on and off my mind for the past ten years! :)
