I have been trying to remember this game for quite some time.I used to play it in 2007 ,I am not certain about it being new back then since I was a kid .I can give you the following pointers.
-The logo was a Z in a circle and its color was orange.
-It was a building game set in an almost medieval time.
-You were a man trying to complete a village with certain attributes.
-You had a guide that was an old man with a silver/white beard and a cloak.
-The scenery was changing every some villages and every new scenery had a different host/character.(There were fields, snowy mountains, deserts, beaches etc.)
-There were no playable characters in the game. The host was just chatting with you.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello!
I can't recall a point and click adventure game on PC with cartoon graphics, if i remember correctly one of characters in this game looks similar to Squidward from Spongebob and I remember that at some point you had to activate a small space saucer. That wasn't long game. I used to play it in... 2006? but this game is probably older.

First person shooter game. About 10 years old or less.
Alternate reality East vs West war. Protagonist belongs to the Western forces and it all happens on some other planet. There were remote controlled weapons in the game where you would sometimes take control of a laptop and control either a remote controlled tracked gatling gun drone (belonging to West forces) or the miniature wheeled suicide landmine buggy that could go under tanks (belonging to East forces).
Anyone recognize this? The 2 remotely controlled weapons are really the only thing I remember :(.

Not sure what genre it'd be. But I vaguely remember it. It was for the original xbox. It was on one of those demo discs that had like 7-8 games demos. One of these games was one where all it had was a multiplayer (splitscreen, not sure if it had online as I didn't have xbox live at the time), where you spawned in as a normal guy in third person, and you had a bunch of different vehicles lined up like tanks, mechs (maybe aircrafts aswell?) and such, that you could enter and drive around and shoot in. There was nothing to it really, as it was an empty battlefield with no one else in it, as I had no one to play it with. I just remember thinking it'd be absolutely awesome to play it with someone at the time.

I realize this is the most vague description ever, but that's about what I remember, I'm not sure if the guy you played had a weapon himself, I don't think so, as you had all these giant war machines you could use. I've tried googling any combination of words with "mech" in it, and they all seem to have you just be in the mech permanently, and you can't really get out of it and use other vehicles.

Hi

I had to sign up here having seen this thread as this is driving me nuts now.

I think it was a PlayStation game, or maybe PS2

It was a beat 'em up with a small, dark, depressing "open type world" and you could build a crew by beating fighters and then you could "summon" them to help you, but some of them didn't like each other, and if you called up 2 who had beef, they'd tell you to choose between them and the vanquished one wouldn't be your friend any more.

I don't remember that much about it other than it was pretty sparse & small.. some of the fighters were women
It was a bit crap TBH, but had some interesting features

Please put my mind to rest

Cheers

Hello, thank you for the attention.
I have two games I desperately need to remember and I think they might be a challenge. I literally can't remember anything from my childhood that I wasn't able to re visit through the internet those two games being the exception.

#1 - This one is very clear in my mind. I was almost certain it was called "Zak's Labyrinth" but I can't find anything from that, so I'm probably wrong. I'm sure that, it was a puzzle game and I played it on PC, probably windows 98. Protagonist was either a red gnome with big eyes that were mainly yellow - or maybe white, and a big nose - it's skin were totally red - and a mushroom hat, which the collors I can't remember, but I think blue with yellow circles; or instead, it was literally a mushroom and not a gnome. It had a white background and the labyrinth's elements were like tiles above that plain white screen, plus Zak (Zek/Zach/Zacky?). I'm sure that it envolved finding keys to unlock doors, and collecting treasure chests, but I'm unsure of the main goal of each labyrinth. Btw, it was like that, each level a labyrinth. There were many other elements, like boulders you could move around and I think, a carnivore plant, which would devore you if you didn't roll an giant apple to the tite in front of it first, so it would feed from it and fall asleep after! Very clear in my mind. I'm amazed I can't find it because I remember it so well.
There is this other game that usually come around when I look for Zak's, which the name I forgot (sorry) but it is about this geek looking guy in glasses on a labyrinth and it isn't that - but it looks like it.

#2 - This I barely remember and tbh have little hope someone will be able to name :( I played the demo version of it on a CD with many demo games. I believe the theme of the CD were cartoon characters and I firstly played Worms World Party (wtf, well they look cartoonish I guess) there.
It was 3D.
It was on a dark enviroment - the only level avaible. I don't know if it was the first level. I think it was a urban enviroment but maybe it was medieval, with a lot of grey brick walls. Probably urban.
You played as a human with a very big head, and I think every character had big heads. Besides your character I think every other model was of an enemy.
You had special long ranged powers (besides, I believe a default short ranged atack) that changed depending on which head you were wearing!
I remember some green detail on your character's default head.
I think you were able to wear the head of the enemies you killed. But I don't believe you would instantly get their heads because I remember there being many of them and my head or powers not changing that much.
Maybe there were masks or something instead of literal heads.
These powers you got were very colorful and they contrasted with the dark ambience.

I will be literally amazed and extremely thankful to however may find about those <3

Well, the second game could be "H.E.D.Z." (1998), but I think there was another game where you collected either heads or masks.

First hello everyone. I literally signed up for this so i hope it will work. I've been looking for this game for years. I've found a movie "Warriors of Virtue" after years of research so i hope i will find the game too :).

Here are the things i remember.

It was a PC game. Game's background is like Windows "minesweeper", its square by square. And you are this blue thing covering 1 square with a big eye. Everytime you move the monsters moves too, you take a step and monsters gets close to you. If you stand still monsters doesnt move (kinda like turn-base but both you and monsters moves at the same time). You have weapons to kill monsters, you start with a bubble weapon, you can get rocket, mines, decoys, bombs, and best weapon ever TRIPLE BUBBLE from chests. You kill monsters and you move stage by stage, you can go back to past stages.

Theres another thing i remember, theres a gamble stage in the game, you bet your mines or rockets etc in poker to earn more ammo.

I hope someone can help me out. This one has been itching me for quite some time.

i cant remember the whole game but driving me crazy to recall the name. it was a classic java games when you can costumize your character and you live with the landlord, you have to work to get money (i remember we can wash the dishes in the cafe to get money) , you can upgrading your room with the money, buying clothes, you can puke, you can go to beach, you can interact with npc(even hook up), you can piss in the bush. and i quit the game because cant go to some club area cuz you have to be jetset to get there.

Hey guys. Been Reading this thread all morning, going through so many pages and doing many google searches to find this one game. Somewhat doubtful but here we go.

It was old MS-DOS style prehistoric sim or action/adventure game type. You played as a prehistoric man and could tame animals like rabbits and have them fight for and with you. You traveled, somewhat scripted, passage of time and so on. I remember traveling through rain and then having a random encounter with a wolf that killed my rabbit and injured me. You could also get into fist fights with other humans.

It was some kind of demo and I remember you could reach little villages and interact with other humans. Another very specific thing I remember is being able to craft simple things like spear heads from flint stone and maybe clothing for protection from the weather. It was 2-d combat and I'm not entirely sure how the movement was but it was map based fast travel I believe.

Thanks in advance for whoever thinks this sounds familiar and is able to help. Have been wondering about this for years and google hasn't been any help. I think I last played it somewhere around ages 7-12. So early 2000s.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an old PC / MS-DOS game where you played a (purple) rhino and it was a really challenging 2D platformer. The first level had waterfalls and, if I remember correctly, yellow blocks to stand on. The rhino was also able to shoot balls from his mouth if I'm not mistaking.

The only thing I found after hours of searching was this Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmytongue/comments/2w5ygn/tomtpc_game_2d_platformer_rhino_protagonist/.

First I thought the character of the game was a "hippo", but now I'm convinced it's actually a rhino. I also remember that we only had the demo version for it. I think the game is from around 1995, but I don't know for sure.

Any help finding this game would be really appreciated!

I`m looking for a game which was 3D but with bad graphics like resident evil 1 i believe and the mechanics where also similar to RE1 i think. The only thing i remember was a fight with a boss. When you got to the room there was a deerhead on the wall and in the cutscene a body broke out of the wall with the deerhead on instead of a normal head, the body also lookled like it had no skin, so basicly just muscles and the boss was called the hunter. I believe after the fight there was the main enemy which looked like a giant greenish worm coming from the sewers and had a giant eye in the middle of its body.

Could that have been the Deerhaunter boss from TimeSplitters: Future Perfect?

I remember playing a PS2 RPG (at least, I think it was an RPG), but only the beginning. You play as a teenage guy and this old guy hangs around and eventually he destroys your house and kills your mom. I think he also eventually was revealed to be an alien or demon. I also remember that the game came out around the same times as Kingdom Hearts 2, so around 2006-2007.
