i'll try to be brief because i was writing a lengthy description of everything i remembered but when i tried to post the site didn't respond and i lost the text, so whatever, i'll trust y'all deduction abilities. The game was probably PS1 and had a fighting mode, a random competitions mode and a dungeon crawler mode. the competitions were something like racing on the beach, sprinting against each other and such. The dungeon crawler is what i liked the most, was about a dude trying to find a girl that got lost/fainted(?) inside the dungeon. when u find the girl u can die in the dungeon and then control the girl to try to rescue the dude and vice versa. i remember praying to get a item that was a portal to town that was a tail or whatever that had a very characteristic and loud sound. also there was a bar that you could buy wine to try and sell for a profit in a stock market-like kinda thing. thats mostly it, maybe someone will remember and help me out, thanks in advance.

There is 1 game for PC that I can not remember the name to. This game was probably made in the 90's. You start out in a first-person style game and you go inside a mansion. You then are trying to solve the murder of someone important. This game had jump scares everywhere. There were times it made you jump to an alternate reality/dimension to solve the clues and puzzles. It was a lesser known game and all I can think of is that it had a name like Dark Rising or something like that but I know that is wrong. Anyone have a clue to which game this is?
Could it have been Dark Seed II? The intro was the only part in first person, but the rest of the game matches your description.

Hi,

i'm looking for a game that i have been playing before, but i can't remeber the name of it. A pc game.

And in the game you play as a girl who has Purple hair, (if i remeber correct). And there was a puzzle in the game, and it was a choice based game with few multiple endings. In the game there was a vampire and two werewolf.
And i remeber that on the cover on it, there was the girl your playing sleeping on the cover of the game.

This is what i can remeber of the game, i don't know if it any of help.

But thanks anyway.

Hi All so a friend and I are a little desperate to try and find this game and I have done a fair share of searching until I found this site... so really hoping someone can help me

So the game is quuuuite old.. around maybe 1998-2005 I guess... began with an H I am pretty sure had a picture of a canon with like 5 canons on it

The point of the game was you pretty much had a fort and you would build like stuff inside it to increase like ammo production and gold to build more things... then you would also build canons and stuff on your towers/walls and the point would be to destroy other peoples forts with your canons

It's very very similar to the new indie game called forts but it was 3d and quite old... I know I say it starts with an h.. but it's something like blundrebouse or something weird like that

Was super duper fun... trying to find it again.. please help :)

Could also be "Clive Barker's Undying" (2001), kinda hidden gem of a game.

Hi everyone,

I will be glad if anyone can help me. I'm seeking for a cartooned game that I was playing about 5 years ago. All I remember is that there was a planet and some alien city with their civilization on it, and I was one of that aliens. Maybe I'm mistaken but I think my character was a journalist. Also there was one human astronaut that accidentally appeared there and all the aliens were looking for him and my character was trying to save that human's life and help him to leave the planet.

Thanks in advance.

Might be Planet 51 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IM1NMRzHd2E]. I've never played it, but what you're describing sounds like the movie it's based on...

Hi guys, I'm looking for a game that I played when I was young. It was a side-scrolling CD game on PC platform in the year of 2000s may be, actually I don't know about the release date of it. I've tried my best to remember most of the game details but I cant remember the name of it.

Although the game is side-scrolling game, it looks like 2.5D. The background is 2D picture but your character and the enemies are 3D image. It is a kind of adventure game, and you have a health bar and mana bar on the top left hand corner.
In the game you can choose 3 types of character, a young man with sword, a young girl with staff and a man using two-handed axe.
I remember some of the default button which are "Z" and "X", "Z" is using a light attack and "X" is a heavy attack.

There are several types of magic you can use, fire , ice, lightning and recovery.
Each type of magic divided into 5 levels, I only remember fire and ice.
Fire L1: Single fire ball drop on a single enemy (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Fire L2: Fire burning on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Fire L3: Lava blast at all enemies position
Fire L4: Large explosion (Area of effect)
Fire L5: Fire from the fire phoenix (Area of effect)
Ice L1: Ice Spikes appear at a single enemy's postion (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Ice L2: Ice Spikes appear at all enemies' position
Ice L3: Ice wall created on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Ice L4: Ice Storm (Area of effect)
Ice L5: Ice Age (Area of effect)

And here are the stage and the boss that I try my best to remember.
Stage 1 - Forest, boss: rock golem
Stage 2 - Floor 1
Stage 3 - Below 1, boss: ice drake
Stage 4 - Below 2, boss: 2 ghost
Stage 5 - Below 3, boss: skeleton mage(necromancer)
^And this boss I think is a main enemy of the game because my character need to talk to him before battle.
Stage 6 - Floor 2, boss: a flying, upper body, large skeleton with both scythe-shaded hand(hand bone)
Stage 7 - Floor 3, boss: fire drake
Stage 8 - Below 4

One more thing there are 5 different BGM in the game. Each of them is used for Stage1-5 respectively. And Stage 6 use the first BGM and so on.

I just only remember the stage name and the last stage that I reached is 8.
Please help me with this, it is a memory for me and I try my best to remember the details of it.

I played this old top-down 2D RPG back in the 90s, either for Windows or DOS. Your character was a wizard (or wizard apprentice).

The version I played was shareware and the main limitation was that you could only save 5 times.

It had a turn-based strategy battle system, where the enemy started at the top and your party started at the bottom of the screen.

I remember it having a heavy metal/grunge style background music.

The story had something to do with a wizard guild. And you could get in a boat and ride it around the map.

I have been driving myself crazy. There is a game I used to play on PC. It's an online game you find on a random game website. I believe it was a flash game where you were this cat. You were a blue 'ghost' traveling through each level trying to avoid the cars and people wandering around. Your goal was to collect food to get some kind of portal open so you could go to the next level. I don't remember if the cat died or what but your goal was to get to the next levels.

One of the levels were people riding around a square on bicycles and you had to go through them and avoid getting ran over. I can not remember the name of this game nor can I find it. If anyone knows please let me know. It is really irritating me. I know its probably something really simple too!

Hello everyone. I'm looking for 2 games. Could you help me please ?

First one:

It was an online shooter game on pc. I was around 11 or 12 when i played it, aand now I'm 19 so it was a long time ago. And I also remember that they shutted it down, I just want to watch some videos and bring back the old memories. So the game was all cartoony and childish. You could choose from a variety of characters: A young boy, a young girl, a cat and a bear. They all had different attributes.

Second one: This one is for Ps3. It was an action hack n slash type game I think. 3 characters: Mage or wizard or priest ( not sure which one), a woman with a dual blade and a knight. The game played in the middle ages. In the beggining our village got attacked and you had to fight back the enemy. I remember that i had to kill a lot of skeleton in the beginning.

That's all I can remember, I hope it's enough. Thank you all!

Hi forum. I've been struggling hard to find these couple of games from the past. Perhaps someone out here are able to shed some light on my search. Sadly I only played the demos.

1. This game is from around Win 95/98 era. It's a platform'ish game where you play as a mouse (critter) in a hovering thingy. The goal of every level is to unscrew all the screws on the ground. Enemies can be avoided by hovering. The camera is static covering the whole level in a 45-degree angle.

2. This one is around Win 2000. It's more of a puzzle game than a platform game. You play as a wizard, wearing a blue robe if I remember correctly. To progress through every level you have to solve puzzles throughout by walking on floor triggers and flick switches. As the camera is static covering the whole level, the only actions you the player can perform is walk left/right, climb ladders and swing your wand, which only flip switches and such.
Except for falling to your death and getting crushed I remember theres a maneating plant that eats you into bloody pixels if you walk close to it. Another entity was a giant white ball that spawned into the level while puzzling. If you touched it you died by falling off the screen. Infinite tries and theres no jumping available.

3. From around the same time is a naval RTS. In this game land units and land combat doesn't exist but if I recall right there was land entities which could boost your gold gain. Later on in the game progression the game had a frost ship and a fire ship(?) not to mention featuring a nice variation of combat units.

4. This is probably the hardest to establish. Somewhere around Win2000-XP there's a fantasy RPG strategy (real time) game with a rich theme featuring undeads, chimeras and dragons. I have no idea if the game supported town building since all levels in the demo was adventure-like scenarios with objectives. I believe the player was always handed a hero that could pick up loot throughout the level. Alot of varying units, graphics reminds you of heroes 3 but with a more grim tone.

I would love to hear if anyone are aware of these titles. It would make my day to once again experience the nostalgic titles that always won over me as a kid.
Thanks

I think that's Gubble [https://www.giantbomb.com/gubble/3030-19743/images/] (or possibly Gubble 2 [https://www.giantbomb.com/gubble-2/3030-5887/images/]). =)
