Hi to all.

The game of whom i'm trying to remember the name is an old PC game, that i've played only twice, in years 2003/2004.
It looked like an RTS game, with 2D isometric view.

main features:

> Setting: Middle Age

> Different time periods playable(sure about 2), but not ages, because the entire game was set in Middle Age(i think)

> Starting condition: a village hall situated in a forest, sorrounded by varoius resources;

> Factions played: It could be Scottish tribe/people, which wear BLUE clothes.

> Enemy faction: it could be English Army, which wears RED clothes and has camped in plains out of the forest, quite away from played village

> Gathering resources:
- food(hunting deers, gathering berries from bushes...)
- wood
- stone
- gold -> THIS ONE WASN'T IMMEDIATELY SPENDABLE, BUT HAD TO BE STORED FOR LATER AGES/PERIODS AND SPENT IN PROPER BUILDINGS/ACTIONS (maybe hiring troops, i didn?t played that much)

> Buildings Available:

- resource (hunting lodge, granary, warehouse...)
- defence (wooden wall/gate, stone wall/gate, towers...)
- military (i remember only swordsmen and archer recruitment)

> Occuring Events:

Periodically, a small group of english soldiers moves to the village and attacks, and has to be defeated in order to protect the village: each group was a bit greater than the previous one, so i suppose that finally the whole army attacks.

I thanks everyone that can give me infos about this game:D

This game was most likely for the PS2 it was a JRPG like FF and Blue Dragon but Im pretty sure you didnt enter a battle screen you fought them right as you saw them in real time. The main character was a human boy but another playable character was a Purplish Lizard who wielded a spear(among a few more). I remember you could get new weapons/items and also upgrade current ones. I really wish I remembered something about the storyline or any other characters. Im not expecting anyone to know from the terrible information I have given but hoping this sets of someones memory. Thank you ahead of time.
I'd guess it's Suikoden 3 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEDzqBjtJWI&list=PLWCpPDsEHE-wa5GKb11yxbj3qRP_vedr-], with the "Purplish Lizard" being Dupa [https://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/5128/321578-s3_dupa.jpg]. The game was on PS2 and had blacksmiths who could upgrade weapons. =)
No its not that I have never played any Suikoden but I thank you for your time

So this game I played back around about 25 years ago on the sega genesis as that is what we had back then. You controlled a character from a top down rather than an over your shoulder perspective but whenever you ran into an enemy you would zoom in and go fight whatever enemy you ran into. By zoom in I mean the battle would turn into some sort of side scrolling fight.

I only remember this one guy wielding a big axe that would swing an axe vertically up and down and the only way past him was to roll under him and to swing a sword at his back or stab him. I really cant remember anything else but I've been searching on and off now for about 2-3 years with no success.

Any help would be appreciated. Also when playing the game outside of the fighting parts, it reminds for some odd reason of marble madness in how it looks (I think anyway- it?s been so long/ I did find the other old game I was looking for I played once called General chaos which was pretty sweet.)

Also I want to thank whoever started up this thread as its a great idea for finding old sweet games one has forgotten about. Also it looks like crusader of centi but it?s not. It?s similar to shining force 2 as the grids and the health bar looks familiar but the fighting is not turn based.
I forgot I think there was multiplayer but I don?t Remember for sure. Any help is appreciated as I still haven?t been able to find this game yet.

Hello guys! Im looking for 3D FPS game which I played about 8-10 years ago.
I remember that there was arena with spawning zombies. Weapons spawns too or can dropped from zombies.
Levels complete when you have killed all zombies.
First level of game was circle arena with green grass and stones in the middle like Stone Hedge.
Then after 3-5 times completing (killing all zomb), next sort of arena, with sand.
Please help me, thanks!

Hey fellas.
I'm looking for an old PC game, graphics were not unlike Lost Eden I want to say.

I wish I could remember more details, but I only had the demo of it. What I DO remember though:

-Time Travel might have been possible?
-You would clone the look of that era
-I believe you started off in a Da Vinci Era setting, definitely in a river city type area much like that of Italy
-You were either an alien or from the future, I can't recall
-Believe it was a puzzle game

Alright I'm looking for a PC game from the early 2000s it had a name that was a Russian word I believe. I remember it being kind of Steampunkish there were air battles with blimps. But it was still a first person shooter. I believe I remember part when you're sneaking into an enemy camp you walk past a guy next to a Jeep and then he starts attacking you.

Hi,

I'm searching a DOS game, point and click styled based in space I think. I remember you started in a jail but I didnt got really far. I do remember you had to breack ur cell light and grab a piece of wire from the wall, then u laid the broken glass in the sunlight wich started burning and a guard comming in, then u chocked the guard with the wire. After that I can't remember me much except for a closed door wich I couldn't open back then (I was fairly young) I do believe that jail was on a other planet (probably mars)

Hope someone can help me out here, I been searching for years for this game :)

Another game I'm searching was a Hearthlight clone, but I remember it being blue gems that u had to collect instead of hearts, and it had an level editor..
Bump.. Srry I just want to find the game

It didn't ring any specific, personal, bells for me. The RTS formula being quite stable after all.
My guesses are dependent on those few differences and highlights that could stand out.

What I got from my search were 4 games, listed in order of likelihood;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtic_Kings:_Rage_of_War

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majesty%3A_The_Fantasy_Kingdom_Sim

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stronghold_%282001_video_game%29

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_and_Merchants:_The_Shattered_Kingdom

Of those, I've only played the last three. That was some time ago though, so apologies if they are way out of whack!

I am looking for a game, from about 13-14 years ago. It was something with quest .. or tale in the name. In that game you should form an image, with a tree (i remember), castle / princess and on a rope (like a snake) you were receiving all sorts of shapes, mostly geometrical . If someone knows what i am talking about I would be greatfull.

I vaguely remember playing this game, somewhere around 10 years ago on the PC, where you controlled two trolls(?) and faced off against each other. All I remember about the game is that it was a kind of 2d side-scroller and that the characters (the troll looking things) were blue and orange.

Hello! I'm still looking for the name of a PC game from the early 2000's, most likely 2002-2004.

It was a military vehicles ONLY game. It was single player, 3D, kinda 3rd person shooter but with vehicles. The vehicles were a bit modern/futuristic, although it wasn't a sci-fi game, it was more of a modern wargame. It's not related to any well-known game series franchise as far as I know. It's not based on a historical conflict such as WWII or Vietnam.

Here's what I remember from the game. You had to complete missions for 2 factions in different areas, always using a vehicle, sometimes you could switch for another vehicle during the mission by getting close to it and selecting the option. However, you could never leave a vehicle and play an actual character, the game was exclusively played inside vehicles and against vehicles. There was no soldiers or infantry. The vehicles featured aircraft, tanks and light vehicles.

In the first mission of the game, you drive a light vehicle and you have to sneak on a dock, avoiding enemy vehicles patrolling, to reach a transmitter and blur its signal. There were other missions involving tanks, and some missions involving aircraft. I remember another mission where you fought with tanks against enemy tanks in some big caverns. I also remember a mission where you had to infiltrate some outdoor military camp with a light vehicle to destroy supplies.

It is very hard for me to find this game scrolling down games lists, because it doesn't directly belong to an identified game genre which you can make a list off. It's not a pure tanks or planes simulation, it's not a "vehicular combat game" because this refers to Mario Kart-like games... I'd call it a vehicles only modern wargame. I really hope someone who knows will read this :D

FOUND: Stealth Combat: Ultimate War, TY anyway :D

Alright, I'm looking for a new game, but I do know what it is. I just don't know where I can find it.

Is it okay if I ask it here?

Edit : BREAKING NEWS! I found the game that I was looking for before this current one I'm looking for. You know, I was looking for a game where you control a spaceship fighting creatures? Apparently the game is called Swarm.

Excellent thread, so may nostalgic memories! Now's my turn to ask :)

An MS-DOS game, around late 80's - very early 90's. Driving / racing genre; two distinctive features I can remember very well:

a) You could be fined by the police (I recall the game showed a ticket on your windscreen or something like that)
b) You could see a rear view mirror (I believe that was not that typical for driving games of that era). Now I am not 100% sure about that, but I vaguely remember you could see a police car chasing you in that mirror.

The game had 16-color graphics (EGA, I suppose) and worked on an IBM PC AT 286 if that helps.

I've browsed through several lists like "the best forgotten games of the 80s" but couldn't find anything looking even vaguely similar. Must have been a very popular title of its time, though, or else it would have a very slim chance landing on an office PC in former USSR circa 1992 :) )

Hello everyone, i discovered this forum today and would like help in terms of finding a game in played a while back.
It's a zoo type game similar to Zoo Tycoon. I played it in the mid/late 2000s and i don't remember it quite well.
I know it was in the 2000s because the graphics are better than Zoo Tycoon. It also had some kind of tour where the visitors would be above the zoo with a train-like ride with pillars to keep the train above the zoo.I know it's not a lot but I hope it's enough that somebody knows what game I am talking about.

So glad I found this, and that this is still alive! I hope you guys can help me.

I am looking for a flash game where you play as a snake-like creature and the goal was to explore a huge world which was separated into "planets" or "sectors" or something like that.
Each "planet" had it's own name, and was filled with other snake-like creatures that are trying to eat you, and you had to eat them before they do.

Every snake creature's body is separated into small circles, and to eat it you had to go through one of those circles with your mouth, without the other creature going through your circles.

Every planet had its own creatures with unique head shapes (circles, triangles, squares), and whenever you discovered a new creature or planet, a message appeared in the top left corner "You discovered...". The background was mainly blue, and shifted in brightness in different locations.

The game was probably made somewhere within 2005-2010. I remember playing it on some game site, Kongregate probably, but I also know it had a site of its own.

Hi guys!
Please, I need some help to find this PC game... This game is my game when I was a kid...
- This was a PLATFORM GAME.
- There were many CASTLES in different colors. (I think the YELLOW one is the first, and MAGENTA or PURPLE is the final castle.)
- You were a Mexican and you had a sombrero.
- In right-up corner, you had 5 slots for keys. You had to collect keys to open the doors.
- On the main page, you saw Mexican and one snake. Between them were menu.
- I remember there were spiders, bats, and snakes. Also you had ladders, kind of super powers, fire...
- If somebody know the name of the game, please reply me.
Thank you all! All best! :)
