I remember playing an old pc game when I was about 8. It had to be created in the 1990s-early 2000s
The game was set in an old-styled type of maze where you traveled in what I believe was a stone cave or dungeon, with multiple places to travel (there were stairs too, so you could go to different "levels"). You could fight different animals/monsters (I remember fighting a ferret, wizards, dwarves, dogs, and either a gnome or leprechaun), and on one level there were wooden human-sized mannequins that would follow you if your character wasn't looking at them and moved. It was 3d sprites, and quite pixelated. You could speak with the dwarves, wizards and people I'm pretty sure, and adopt a ferret/dog/other animals.
