Hi, I'm looking for an old strategy game (3D top-down view) for PC that ran on Dos and older versions of Windows, most likely made in the 90s. Each level or mission starts with your spaceship landing on a planet then 2-3 scientists come out, each of them has a specialty. You build structures and units with a scientific/evolutionary theme, for example you build a unit that looks like a red/pink dog or goat. You also plant/harvest some weird resources or plants. Sometimes hostile creatures come and attack your base and scientists. If anybody recognizes what I'm talking about please give me the title of that game and thanks in advance. Cheers.

Ok, this is gonna be a hard one for you guys. There was an old pc game (or maybe ps2??) but it had a medieval like setting, you started in a dark village, there were giant reptile like enemies, it was a night (hence dark village) I know somewhere along the way there was a lake? and around it was a windmill or similar structure where I believe you could get a crossbow. I seem to link it to the Deltora Quest books but can't find any game with that besides a ds game but this was waaaay before ds. If you can find it, I will be highly impressed because I have had no leads in years. I should also mention the game was in 3rd person.

Hi everyone, i'm not sure if anyone knows about this game because it was such an obscure one but basically it started with a red haired child who had one of these fish toys you use in the bath like a duck and the kid accidentally removed the plug. The fish got flushed down and by some weird magic the kid too and landed in the ocean. The toy became alive too and we find out that there is a gigantic hole in the ocean. A sea lion is currently using himself as a plug and tells us to look for the real one or the entire ocean would lose all his water.

All in all the game was about helping various fishes out with their problems (like one was about a french crab and cakes)it gaining stuff from them to switch with other objects until the final "boss" where we find out that it was a shark baby who was holding the plug as a pacifier. A bit of a puzzle solving game.

I don't know if anyone knows the name of it but i would appreciated it.
Thanks
Freddie fish?
No that wasn't it, there is no human in this game and freddy is a well real fish.

I've been trying to think of this game for a while now. It involved music and a train I believe. It had a weird song that was catchy and basically, it was about the alphabet I think? Early 2000's or late 90's, on PC
Could that have been Tuneland?

Hi!
I am looking for an old school pc cd game.
I remember playing this game as early as 1996 i think.
I think you had to run it through ms dos if I remeber correctly.
It was a turn based rpg where you selected your units and used attacks or skills. The main character prince could use this skill that rained swords from the sky and hit everything. There was also this fairy with blue apparel and a pink haired girl with red armor and her hair was in a pony tie. Also a dragon/human hybrid who could fight in dragon form.
Kind of reminds me of farland tactics a bit. Cant remeber the name of the name of the game......think it was made in Asia.

Any help would be greatly appeciated!!!

Been searching for years - Reddit was of no use.

Played this PC game in the late 90s, early 2000s.

I remember the log in had like a picture of the earth. The premise of the game was you would pick a neighborhood and try to get other people to buy a home there as well. You could upgrade your home with furniture, cars, art, etc. with the money that you earned from selling homes. You could also sell everything you bought to keep earning more money. I think in time the goal was to have the biggest neighborhood in all of the world.

You would have a character that was like a sims character. This wasn't second life or sims though.

Any help would be awesome!

Hello.. If I could, I would reward lunch and a gift card to whoever can figure out the name of these 2 games, because I've been searching it for YEARS!!! It's really hard to find!

Back in 1996 I had Windows 95 and had all these cool games that it came with. Majority of them I have forgotten, except for the Humour Entertainment games (Freddy Fish, Putt Putt, etc.) The other brand of games I forgot came from developers like "BRODERBUND" and "INFOGRAMES"

I say that because I think it might be helpful in remembering the actual game title. It could have been Broderbund or Infogrames.

So the description (from what I can remember 20 years ago) goes like this.

Game #1 . It's a puzzle/solve game for kids set in the Medieval days. It's like how you imagine any Windows 95 game to be. It's very cartoonish, 2 dimensional. You are to search for a certain amount of gems/rubies, but also solve puzzles and collect spells. There's a village with different activities. There's a witch house where you go inside and use the discovered witchcraft recipes to make spells (I remember making a spell using frogs). one part of the village is a forested area with a lot of trees, inside there are more gems/rubies and a MAZE PUZZLE (which I think was 3D??). Through the maze you collect gems. I forget what the exact purpose/plot of the game is. I just remember it being a medieval game that starts off in a castle with armored knights, where you collect rubies and make magic spells.

The user interface had the amount of rubies you collected displayed at either the top or bottom of the screen. And it would show empty icons of the items you have yet to collect.

Game #2 . I remember this one vividly. It's an educational math game for kids that involves multiplication and division. There's a boy who walks into a candy store and sees there's a contest for whoever can guess how many jellybeans are in a jar. They win a prize I forget what it was. He then goes around with a calculator and I remember there being a treehouse with more math games. There were a lot of characters that you could interact with and they help you throughout to solve the activities. The boy wore glasses with brown/black hair. I think he had a dog? Not sure. I remember he would walk around with a calculator.

This was really hard for me to explain something from when I was only 8 years old. but those are just 2 games that have been gnawing at my mind for decades. I wish I could take the images out my brain and paste it on here lol.

Hi Hi everyone, need Urgent Help (!) finding this jewel game for pc. It was around 90's I believe. It would start with shape outlines you'd have to fill with different kinds of gems/jewels, then gradually it would move up and shapes would get bigger/more intricate and you'd have to fill an animal outline instead of a basic shape. The jewels you picked for the shape moved in a constant line at the bottom of the screen, had a black background.

Pleasee help if anyone remembers, please please.
I think im looking for the same game as you!!!

Is there someone who knows or could help find it??

Greetings, i am trying to remember an old mac game, late 80s early 90s. I had a mac performa 560. The game was on a 3.5in floppy. Ill describe the things i recall. Point and click game with like poor photo realistic graphics at first, you begin in your bedroomplaying as like a teenager, everything is black and white. You move thru the rooms in the house, i remember a annoying little brothers room, also a bathroom. Eventually you fall asleep and wake up to everything in color, and more cartoony, your still in your bedroom but now everything has changed, like If you go back in that bathroom there is a tentacle monster (or something) in the toilet now. After you leave the house, i remember there is a wolf/fox guy you need to get a fake ID from, also i rememebr like a giant government office of hallways with identical doors, and some alien looking guys working behind the desk. I never got very far in the game, but its haunted me for years, hope you can help me track down the name, thanks in advance!

Hey!

Looking for a game maybe somewhere around 2000, it was a man who started in a jungle maybe in stone age, and as u completed levels, u moved forward in time, like you were in the dark middle age fighting with knights etc. The guy wore a yellow jumpsuit maybe, not sure if it's enough information, but i am hoping.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: found it, it is Time Commando

Ive been looking for a game for more than a decade (!)

Im looking for a game
It mustve been released before 2004, but couldve been a lot before.

Its an topdown arena shoot em up type game with a very distinct soft colour art style.

You would play as a little space ship flying around the map trying not to fall of the corridors, with AI ships around that you had to destroy (i mostly played MP over LAN vs a friend, the AI spawned dynamically there). you would collect various weapons and upgrades like rockets and bombs, shields and even could deploy turrets to destroy other ships.

The art style is really what stands out the most, i can only describe it as the love child of Planetary Annihilation and nerf. with lots of soft colours and kinda whimsical looking explosions. these explosions where really where the game shined and youd be bounced around the map alot if too close.

I have no clue what it was called but im sure i would recognize it immediately if i saw it, been through massive list of ye oldy games looking for it but cant Fing find it.

If anyone knows this that be AEWSOMEW, yes AWESOME.
HALLELUHA, found it

smth called chase ace II

Hey everyone,

So im looking for the name of a really old game. It was out around the 1990s. It was a real time MMO where you would choose a race and then build up your colony and military. You can then send ships to other planets and it takes real time for the ships to reach the destinations. I have a picture i traced when i was a kid of the image.

Ive been trying to figure out what happened to this game and if it maybe still around in the dark hole of the interwebs.

hello,

So I have this old PC game stuck in my head probably made in 1990s Its a 2D puzzle adventure game about 2 kids, boy and girl (and there was somebody else who got taken away by some monster, idk) stranded on a island and they have to find a way through island and escape. What I remember is that you had to solve puzzles to open doors, make bridges and "feed" the correct tiles to "stone face" statues to unlock passage ways feed some plant monster (that looks like some giant mutated venus flytrap) with certain amount of stuff to put it asleep to open the blocked door (Which the boy character says "open sesame"). And then you had to use the yellow submarine to get to the underwater part of the island. But before you can, you have to fix your submarine. Put the wires into their correct positions. Well that's all that I could remember at this point
