I am looking for a game that I used to play A LONG time ago, and I will try to explain it as well as I can:

Firstly, it's a 2D shooter game, you could play vs. computers or multiplayer (or both). When creating the maps or choosing from already existing maps, one could choose what kind of weapons should be in the game, and there were TONS and TONS of weapons, ranging from little guns to nuclear explosives. One could also alter the amount of blood. The environment could be blown away, as well. You could choose from a lot of different characters like worms, master chief (look-alike) and a lot of other stuff, as well as changing the colour of the character. I remember it being very hard to aim, and everyone also had a grapple hook.

Thanks in advance!
Well, perhaps I'm being over-literal, but this sounds a lot like one of the Worms series.
Yes, it's pretty much everything that comes up when I try to find the game, but I can assure you that it is not Worms. The game is VERY different from worms, in fact. It is not turn-based, for one.

Hi folks I cant seem to remember this game my older brother and I would play around the 00's on a Windows PC. From what we could remember you play a character that times travel from different times and locations (such as Rome? and a temple on a mountain landscape) to collect items that will help you in a different time. You would not control your character freely you had to click to your next location whether it be the next room or further down a street. It was a puzzle-mystery-adventure game (I believe) and it may have came bundled with the pc at the time. If anyone can figure this kudos to you. Thank you if you take the time to search because I came up with nothing.

Hey guys, I can't seem to remember the name. It came out around 8-10 years ago and was either a GameCube or PS1/2 game. You were a kid who found a fairy that looked like a paintbrush which you used to create monsters (mainly odd shapes) that battled other people. It swapped between first and third person view and I think it was a fantasy adventure game. Any help would be nice, thanks.

There was this PC game I vaguely remember as a child where you are a boy on a hoverboard and you have to get through different levels. One level I remember was an egyptian themed level and there were alot of space themed levels too. You had to get through without getting killed by enemies which were teddy bears(?) or something like that. You also had different guns and weapons you could pick up to shoot the enemies. This would have to be 10-15+ years ago.
I think a spaceship(?) lands in your room in the opening sequence and you gain powers as well.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it as someone else already asked... It was Cyril Cyberpunk.

Appreciate your expertise on this forum and apologies if this has already been addressed...but looking for the name of a NES game I vaguely remember from the 80s. You had the choice of a dozen or so different characters with different weapons to fight your way through multiple overhead view boards (shooter like Commando or Gunsmoke). If a character died they were no longer available for subsequent boards. Seems like the game maybe advanced through time starting with cavemen and ending up with futuristic enemies? Maybe it even had the word 'time' in the title? I think you just had to get characters from the bottom to the top of the screen--I don't remember it scrolling. Anyway popped in my mind today and can't remember the finer details...thanks!
That sounds a lot like Gain Ground to me, except I don't believe there was a NES version.
And you are correct on both counts--must have played this as I started upgrading to the Sega Genesis? Thank you, Strider!

Need help finding a game about a monk and summoning. It's a PC game, not an MMO ,and it's not turn based ,my guess it was released around 2000, where you play some kind of monks ,somehow related to sound ,you have have a staff with a crystal in which you can trap different creatures and then you can summon them in battle .You can' choose classes and to level up you need to wait for a day to pass .The game is from a third person view , and you also have some stat leveling system. Also as far as i remember you start somewhere that resembles ancient Greece ,and at some point travel somewhere that looks like Northern country .
P.S.I am pretty sure it's not any game from the Elder scrolls series.

tried googling, and reading through about 15 pages of posts in this thread without being able to find what I'm looking for. I don't remember the game to well as its quite long ago but here goes.

I played it on apple 2e (floppy disk)
I remember that it was a sort of maze type game. you would be in a room (which was in essence a blank screen) with the option to go forward, left, or right. you would not actually move to the next room, there was no animation of you walking or moving forward. you would select the direction then the next room would load to your screen.

once in the room there was often something for you to "fight" (no animation) usually a robot, monster, or dragon. (I believe the game was futuristic). I never did well so I "died" (no animation).

I don't recall much else. If I had to guess this game was in the mid 80s.
I'm afraid you just described an entire genre of games. Can you remember any specific details?
Thankyou so much for getting back to me.

I really don't recall to much it was when I was very young.
I do recall there was no animation of the enemies, I think some of the random robots I encountered had basically 2 sets of graphics, one set was the upper body, the other the lower body. the computer would mix and match these to sometimes have a robot with a few different models of the upper body (head, chest and weapon) and the lower body (legs, or tracks).
I remember the dragons were serpent like and coiled amongst themselves.

For some reason flame throwers, or fire of some sort sticks in my mind. I seem to remember not knowing the attack commands and getting myself killed frequently. For some reason I tend to think of the game as incredibly hard and never managed to make it past the first level?dungeon?maze?

I'm also not sure if it was in color but when I played it, it was on one of the old black and green monitor.

and I suppose it would have been around the same time as choplifter and karateka. At least in the same general time period. i 100% remember playing conan (and having my butt handed to me) and that was released in 1984, though I imagine I played it a few years after.

it reminds me of a first person shooter with no movement, and no animation when fighting. as i said, you just sort of appear in the next room (corresponding to the direction you chose) and there either was a creature (always alone) waiting for you, or there wasn't. if there was it was just an image of it on screen. I remember the art work of the enemies being pretty detailed compared to games like conan and karateka. I remember some of the robots weapons being fist type weapons (spikes, blades etc)
so am i just hooped for tracking this down?

Ok, this is an old PC game kind of like Age of Empire, but where you played as angels or demons or something like that and when your turn ended, it should like day turning into night. You could also upgrade your units into extremely powerful ones also I think. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

I'm looking for a fairly old game. I fairly certain that it was a PSX game. It was a side scrolling shooter with a futuristic setting. It's similar to Einhander to an extent. I'm pretty sure you play as a blue fighter, and the first stage was in a forest or jungle. Also, the intro involved your ship being inside of a flying carrier, and a robotic arm lowers you outside of this carrier, releasing your ship and then you boost off into the distance.

If anyone could tell me what game this is, please pm me. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

a pirate game. you never saw the player, you were just a boat and you had to attack forts and pirates you met. you killed forts by sailing into them and shooting your cannon at the cannons that popped up from behind fences. the ship attacking worked the same. it was played from a birdseye view and in the final level you first had to pass lots of forts in a narrow pass and the fight lots of ships in a lagoon before you came to the end of the level. at the end there was a picture of your ship sailing in between two tropical islands with treasure littered across them at the main menu there was a parrot and to start you had to click a box where a green checkmark appeard to start the game.

anybody know what i'm talking about?

I NEED the name of this game!!!

I really don't remember much about it except for a few details:

It was an RPG-ish action game...though you couldn't level up or put on any extra equipment, it was just you and your sword. I played it in my PS1,(though I have gone through the list of PS1 games in wikipedia and I haven't gotten any luck...). I remember the first level being in a green area and I think the first boss was a Dragon. At the end of the game, a castle of some sort (and by the way the game is not long at all), I think you battled with a Skeleton guy in a purple cape. But the FINAL boss was a big black ...thing... Like a spider "standing up".

I have been looking for this one for quite a while now, hope you can help me!
Thank you in advance!

There's a game on an old Apple computer I would play in the late 90s or early 2000s. You had to go around collecting candle like pieces(I was 6-8 so sorry for the vague explanation). Red goblins would be chasing you and would swallow you up if they caught you. You would have to reach a "holographic door" or something to pass the level and you could chop holes in the ground/grass so the goblins would fall in or something. If you guys could help me out that'd be great!
