Hi guys, have a hard one to figure out, but I'm hoping.

This is a really old PC game, I was really young so I don't remember much, and what I do remember, I don't know if it's totally accurate or not. I believe it was a point and click, a brother and a sister solving mysteries and I think they had a dog as well. For some reason, I think they had a yellowish type skin color but I'm not sure at all, really cartoony graphics.

The biggest hint is the demo disk I played of it. The demo disk had Battle Arena Toshinden, Big Red Racing, Knight's Chase, and of course this game on it.

Any ideas please let me know.

Thanks.

This game is one that I and my brother remember playing A LOT when we were younger and we?ve been trying to remember the name of this game for over 3 years now!
Platform: The game was on PlayStation 1 or 2 or the Original Xbox.
Genre: The game was a platformer.
Release: I?m unsure of the release date but I and my brother played it back In 2001 I believe (We were roughly 4-6 years old).
Perspective: The game was 1st or 2nd person and was definitely 3D.
Plot/Goal: Not the slightest clue 
Memorable Moments:
? Running towards the camera jumping over blocks with a ?face? made of flames ? much like a Bowser (Mario) sprite.
? A boss fight involved a Hand (Like the one in Super Smash Bro?s: Melee
http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081202020812/nintendo/en/images/e/e0/Masterhand.jpg
) made of multi-coloured blocks.
? This was followed by another hand (opposite hand) fighting you together.
? Followed by the two hands and a head (All made of them multi-coloured blocks).
? A helper/tutorial person (Much like E-gadd in Luigi?s mansion) appearing through a television.
? This television could possibly be within the protagonists head (Vary hazy memory).
? A main stage area with portals to levels (Again vary hazy ? The main stage is like the one in Crash Bandicoot).
? NOT Multiplayer (What games were back then xD)
? Quite a happy overall mood.

If you?ve read all of that thanks a lot, ANY suggestion will be helpful. If you do find any and can be bothered, please email me at: [email protected] (Yes it?s bad ? gaming email haha)

I had this one game, and I can't remember very much about it, but..everytime you entered a room, there was a new enemy to face. The thing I remember the most tho is at the end, or close to the end of the game, you had to run down a long hallway from a giant blue dinosaur like monster. Any help??

This is a game I have been looking for for a very long time that I remember renting in my youth. Most of the games I have been looking for I have found on my own like Ravage D.C.X., Warriors of the Eternal Sun, Phelios, The Eidolon, Seven Cities of Gold, and many others (take years just to figure out the names of some of those games), but this is one that I just cannot find any clues to. It's hard to describe because I can't remember any details but it had one very distinct detail about it. I believe it was for either the genesis, snes, or nintendo but I have a strong feeling it was for the original nintendo but I could be wrong and it might've been snes or genesis. It was a 2d sidescrolling game and you of course ran around killing things, I THINK it had to do with pirates and some of the backgrounds were possibly on ships. The most distinctive feature I remember that always stuck with me was that you could play 2player split screen, I believe you played as a team and explored levels together looking for items. You would play split screen I think even if you were both at the same location, instead of seeing the other person you would just see their shoes/boots walking on the floor.

Anyway these are really the only details I can remember and I want to figure out what the heck it was and what system it was for, it was a long time ago definitely when I was a kid which was late 80's and early 90's. Thank you to whoever figures it out!
I believe you're looking for Skull & Crossbones.

I am looking for a game that starts out with a boy trying to build an airplane. it is a ps1 or ps2 game. I THINK IT IS A ROLE PLAY OR ADVENTURE GAME. He builds a ramp to fly off, and the first time he crashes. The second time he makes it the plane flys over the woods.

There was a game that I used to play on the PC that I think was set in hell. Each time you started with a character chosen at random, and you had to kill every other character in the level to advance. The characters were a soldier, a ninja, a boy with a jetpack, an alien just like the one from the movie alien, some kind of werewolf monster and a robot. I may be forgetting one or two characters. Each character had a different default attack and skills, like the ninja could climb walls and the jetpack boy could fly, and then there were several weapons and power ups scattered throughout the level.
The levels were randomly generated, and the weapons and power ups would pop up at random times. I remember some of the power ups were drugs that had different effects on you, like crack which would make you faster, but if you took too many you would die of an overdose. The graphics were 2D, not too detailed.
If someone can help me find out the name of this game, I would be truly grateful.

Hey guys! Hopefully I can give enough content for someone to identify this game for me.

So, I remember playing this game non-stop during the late 90's maybe even early 2000's. I was very young.(im 18 now)
I remember it was a game on playstation, or ps2 (not sure) and it was definitely a game that contained robots. Not really mechs, but a robot that acted more like a human being. And you would use specific patterns on your remote to execute moves and shoot weapons on your robot.
I feel like the robot you played as was either piloted or controlled by kids. One specific memory that I have that may help to identify the game is during a cut scene, two kids possibly teenagers, were tied up together and being held captive. They were shouting for help to the boy that you play as, then all of the sudden a big robot steps (Or something very large just drops on them) on them and you witness your friends being crushed. Kind of sad, but that was a memorable scene.

Thanks! Can't wait to finally remember what it was called.
It's a long shot, but this sounds like Zone of the Enders http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zone_of_the_Enders_(video_game).

I was playing a game (it was around 10 years ago) where you were the only one human in the game universe and you could use 3 types of mechas to help yourself (small red, medium green and big blue ones). Your character could fight with a machine gun, laser and lock-on missiles. Also you could take over some buildings and blue mechas. The last mission was getting inside some building and jumping into a teleport which "teleported" you to some unknown area filled with weird collumns shooting energy balls in the air. Also water was dangerous for everything.
I remember that this game had a some sort of an option where you could watch an endless fight between 2 camps of robots which probably would never end. And that's a PC game.

Please help me, I'd like to make an let's play of it.

Holy cow Fizzy you managed to figure that one out quickly ^_^ I KNEW it had something to do with pirates! Completely forgot it was a Tengen game but I remember some Tengen games growing up for the nes being some of my favorite titles like Super Sprint, thank you very much for figuring that out for me =D Funny how strong the imagination really is, I seem to remember the graphics for this game being just a teeny bit better which is why I thought maybe it was on genesis/snes like the early days (warriors of the eternal sun is one game I thought was on nintendo when I couldn't figure out it's name for years and years and then later realized it was for the early genesis which in those days didn't have much better graphics than the nes/sega master system), but I also thought I remembered the shoes being animated when the person walked instead of them just sort of floating to the left or right, haha ^_^. Going to have to play this game some more, I would have never figured it out on my own because the 2player mode isn't even on the main screen... you just have to press start while playing it to get another person in the game.

Thank you again for figuring it out, there was another game that I could never remember from my youth around that same time on nintendo and I know this game was on nintendo but I sort of gave up looking because I can't remember enough details and I doubt anyone would be able to figure it out without naming a bunch of games. I would probably remember it if I saw it but it wasn't a game that was well known, I just remember renting it when I was a very young kid before I was 6 which would've been before 1991. I believe it had more than one character you could select or you had multiple characters in your party, I'm leaning towards the first one though. It was medieval setting with knights/wizards I think, I remember on the back of the box seeing pictures of the game like sort of lanes of stone blocks you would go through and explore I think searching for keys and killing mobs.. It's really hard to remember too many details for it but for some reason I seem to remember black backgrounds and going through levels that were inside. Anyway, I don't expect anyone to figure it out but if people have ideas and just want to throw some game names out there I can look them up and see if any of them are what I am looking for. Thank you again Fizzy!

P.S. Before I forget there is one game that someone might be able to figure out..it was a game but then again it sort of wasn't. Most of the games I played in my youth were for the Commodore 64 because I had one of those along with a Nintendo growing up in Chicago..alot of the games for C64 I finally figured out the names for like Matterhorn Screamer, Seven Cities of Gold, The Eidolon...this one I could never figure out the name for but it was REALLY simple. Basically it was a game you loaded from big floppy disc, you basically had like a screen like a background you could choose I think, and you would get a library of sortof like crappy 2d atari quality gifs to choose. You would basically just choose different like items/gifs/pictures and place them throughout a pre-rendered backgroud. This game I remember being very crude but I had alot of fun with it in my youth just sort of making pictures and seeing how they would turn out. No idea what it would've been called because it's so obscure but maybe someone else remembers this..

You're quite welcome. I know it sounds obvious, but it sounds like you're looking for Gauntlet. I'm guessing that there are at least 20 versions of that game floating around from the past 30 years.

=O Well Gauntlet was one of those Tengen games from my childhood that I loved but the medieval game I was searching for wasn't it, from the vagueness I remember it did have stone blocks like Gauntlet but I believe it was not from a birds eye view it was more platformer based. I could be wrong though, that's why I doubt I'll ever be able to figure it out because it was so long ago and I remember such very little details. I knew for one it was on Nintendo though but it seems like there are just so many games for that system you can look for one and almost never find it. Feels the same for Commodore 64 sometimes too.

Hey,

Maybe anyone will remember this game from around 1994-1998 (I think):
It was a space travel adventure game of sorts. I don't recall any space combat. You would go to space stations to trade. The interior of space stations was prerendered 3d (animated, seemed to be very well done for that time) and very funky/cheesy futuristic look. I recall a space-supermarket as well.

Cheers
Wing Commander?
No, that's not it. Less space combat, more cheesy characters I think.

here's mine, it was a old game i played sometimes around 1996-2000 it feels like. The main characteristic that i remember is that you could pick your character from the hands of a giant skeleton in the background. There were 3 characters, a dwarven fighter with an axe(green), a conan like character(blue) and a Xena like woman amazonian like character(red). The game was in 3D but played from side view and you had to kill waves of mobs on each new screen as you moved forward trough the level. You could ride dragons if you knocked down foes down from them is another thing i remember. Unfortunately that's all i have to go on so any help would be realy appriciated :)

Cheers

This game I have trouble remembering was a point and click type of game. I remember it was a little spooky, there was an area with a road and trees next to it where you'd see the headless horseman. There was an area with gallows and I remember the goal being to get into a castle, where I think there was a vampire. I am not so sure about this one, but I think you had to collect gems at the castle to open some door. It was a long time ago(6+ years), for the PC and it might have been a kids game.
King's Quest 7 had a headless horseman, but no vampires that I can remember.
Nope it is not King's Quest. Call it luck but I managed to found out the game I was looking for is Dracula's Secret. I looked for it a few months ago by the term Dracula, but that didn't give me any useful results, but luckily someone recently auctioned the game and thus 1 entry showed up at google :)

I was Ninja'd! Cool man, welcome to The Escapist.

A while back I came here looking for an arcade game called The Ninja Warriors [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoWVwWVDB6M], but I ended up having to find it myself. I really like this thread because [in trying to find games for other people] I start learning about old games I never heard about before.

Hello, I'm hoping someone on here can help me. I've been thinking about this game for a while but I don't remember what it's called or what console it was on (I'm thinking Snes, PS1 or PS2) The only thing I remember about this game is that the main character used a gun (I think) and when you got a new one you could use the old one to upgrade the new one to make it stronger and/or more features (I believe you could also find parts around the world as well). Also I remember a side quest involving collecting insects (maybe just Beetles) and some were stronger than others to use in Fights against other computer opponents insects/Beetles...Sorry, I know this isn't much help, I know it's not very old (made in the last 10 years) I appreciate any help.

Edit: Found it myself today, it's called Rogue Galaxy!
