That definitely sounds like Evoland.

They're currently making a much bigger/better version on Steam Greenlight. Might be worth checking out?
That's the one, thanks. New version looks pretty interesting too.

Help me! I'm trying to find the name of a game that was out between 1990-early 2000's? (PC)
So when I was younger we had a CD with a name along the lines of '100 kids games' on it were games like Hugo Haunted House Adventure, Hugo Jungle Adventure and Chips Challenge.
One of the games I can barely remember at all but I'm trying to figure out the name of it. Bare with me as I was young when I played it and don't have much details about the game but I remember that sometimes there was snow or it was grassy and there were little guys running around (I think they were red or green) I think they built things or you built them for them. But one thing that i definitely remember is that these little guys would run around and randomly pee and it was blurred out.
I know this is not a lot to go on at all but please help :)
Also i believe this was an early sort of pocket god game where you could pick them up and cause things to happen. You were god. I think i remember you had a hand as a cursor and you could pick them up and they would squirm.

My brother and I used to play this computer game (I think on Windows 95 or older) where you controlled this little guy in a white robe and traveled through levels avoiding guys in red robes. You could dig holes to trap the red guys (or go through), climb ladders, etc. The goal was to collect gold coins. When you collected all the gold coins in a level then a doorway would open and you would go through to the next level. I'm trying to help my brother find it but neither of us can remember what its called. Any help with the name (and perhaps where we can find it ) would be great. Thanks!

I'm reposting this in case anyone can please help me?

I have no idea what year it was but most likely early 2000s. It was a PC game that had robots/machines and you started out with a base. I think you had to mine metal but I can't remember. You could upgrade your robot machines to make them more powerful and go off to fight your enemies. If I remember correctly the enemies showed up as red dots and they had different types of machines including aircraft and boats for the water levels. Each building created a different machine/robot and each machine/robot took a different amount of time to be built. If anyone ever played the game Age of Empires it was similar to that except with robots/machines. I'm trying to give as many details as I can remember because this is really bugging me
Aside from Z, which was suggested earlier, you should also check Metal Fatigue and Total Annihilation.

It was a pc Game, third person shooter from what I remember. You were in a black army type suit with black jet wings coming out from both sides of your back. I remember you could jet pack and fly for a while then fall back down.

Also the levels I remember were

1. on a high high building, brown sky and clouds were above and below so if you fell you would die.

Which Megadrive/Genesis game am I thinking of?
Im sorry if this is too vague, but its been doing my head in for years trying to remember. I never got past the first level so i'll do my best to describe it, plus i'm trying to remember back 19 or so years.

I think the front cover on the case had a grim reaper type character, a skeleton wearing a black hooded cloak and I think he had a scythe too but can't be sure.

The game opens With a couple of pages of white text against a black background outlining the plot and backstory ( I Imagine).

You play as the hooded grim reaper character. The game is viewed from an isometric 3d perspective (like sonic 3d)
You start in a dungeon type room, you walk out through a door into a larger dungeon type room with burning torches on the walls. There is this giant worm that leaps from one hole in the floor, arching in the air and retreating down an adjacent hole.

Now all I can remember from now on is always ending up dead. I think the worm killed me or thinking about it there may have been a trapdoor i'd always fall down.

If anyone can get that from my sub par description I would be delighted.

There was this PS1 game where you were a really small boy, it was an adventure game and I remember that at the beginning you had a morning star kind of thing as a weapon! I also remember something about hanging onto floating balloons but that's as much as I can remember :( I really hope one of you can help me!

Hi guys! I'm looking for the name of one hack & slash game. The game is similar to Chaos Legion, Nightmare Creatures, Bloodrayne, Devil May Cry... In the beginning you choose from two characters for playing: a guy with a sword and a girl with spear. In the game you strike the enemies (zombies, dogs and etc.), collect their souls and this is the money which you can spend after the level to buy new combos, also you unlock new swords for the man and spears for the woman. In the end the final boss is something like giant spider. Please, do you remember the name of this game?

Hey guys, I've been thinking about a game I used to play when I was in elementary school. It was on the pc and it was for windows xp I believe, could've worked for 98, not sure. All I can remember about the game is that it was an rpg/action/adventure and it starts you out in some little village at night. It's in first person and you go around looking for supplies and I believe you start out with either a dagger or no weapon at all. The village is either overrun by zombies or some form of monster. I know there was one monster you had to kill by jumping off a roof and killing it from behind at which point a cinematic will start up and show how you kill it. After that point I think you get a crossbow. Sound familiar to anyone?

I'm gonna repost this because I really need to know what the name was.

Alright, this has been bugging me for awhile. There was this Nintendo 64 game I used to play all the time. I remember the beginning cutscene had a guy taking a shower(nothing was showing, it was just the top part of his back). After that, the main character showed up. It was a black guy with blond dreads I believe. The game was a turn based battle RPG. I believe it was in the future also. I remember some aliens also. I also believe it has a resident evil 2 feel to it because once you entered a room, it was stuck on one camera angle in that room. That's all I really remember.

Are you thinking of Hybrid Heaven? I can't imagine there being more than one N64 RPG that opens with an awkward shower scene, but you never know.

hello. first time user/viewer.

I'm sure some of you are familiar with this game & it goes back to the late 1990s for pc gaming. I'll try to give a vague detailed description of it, so bare with me.

I remember the beginning clear as day, it starts off with thunder with a rainy night and zooms into his n.y condo. This person in particular draws comics for a living and somehow he manages to get sucked into his own comic that he is drawing and he has to fight his way out.

If this helps, the guy has a blonde pony tail with sunglasses. haha

Thanks in advance

Sounds just like Comix Zone. It's been re-released several times as part of the Sega Collection so shop carefully for whichever platform you (might) decide to buy it on. I'm fairly certain that the version of the game Space Harrier I got on the 'Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection' was almost 100% arcade accurate, so perhaps Comix Zone is an accurate recreation as well.

Hi Guys
Looking for an arcade game where fridges, lamps are enemies. Fat guy, skinny guy, old guy. You can play these characters and a couple others. The skinny guy can jump high, fat guy is strong, old guy is wise. There is a witch in the game whose broom you can grab and the screen pauses for you for a few seconds. The game scrolled up and had bosses. It was around the early 90's. Maybe even late 80's.

Can anyone remember this game?

Thanks

I have been looking all over for this game I played on the NES when I was younger but the name escapes me. The game was a side scrolling sci-fi looking game. Your character drove a futuristic car that could jump and shoot (I think pink) plasma balls at the enemies. You could exit the vehicle at I think certain times in the game (sometimes it was mandatory) as the main character, who also had a futuristic weapon and suit. Im not sure if the things you were killing were aliens but Im positive they werent robots. They were almost like ugly creatures that walked on two legs. I never really got past the first "level" but from what I remember from it, you leave a partially seen bigger futuristic craft that originally housed your jumping car. Also I seem to remember that the first mission seemed to be outside and in a more rural area. Thats all I can remember so if anyone can figure out the name Ill forever love you since its been killing me for years!!!
