I'm impressed. Seriously great idea for a thread. Maybe someone can help me remember an old one.

I want to say it was a Flash game but I might be wrong on that. Same idea, though--small quirky online only game. You had a tiny round world and ten objects just below it that you could click on to "use" in some way. Each object would change the world in some way or cause something new to happen. The goal was to use all ten items in the correct sequence to create the greatest change to the world.

I really enjoyed this strange little puzzle game and could probably find it again if only I could remember what it was called. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
I remember that. There were a number of different ones that came out eventually. Believe it was called "Grow"?

What's the game with the purple haired chick. Its for playstation one I remember playing a demo for it when I was younger I remember like a dungeoun or castle type area with someone laying on a stone table thing with one of those giant axe things that swings side to side till it slowely lowers and slices the person in half I could never figure out how to get pass it or anything but I have a picture from an old game informer that I cut out when I was younger with her facing away. She has a red tattoo on her back and purple hair. And on it it says " come on in. Stay a while. Mind if I cut your head off?" Id really love to know what this is haha thanks
Sounds like Kagero: Deception II. You play as a girl called Millennia who has to protect a castle by using various traps such as giant bladed pendulums.
omfg man thanks so much i litterally stayed up till 5 am last night googleing everything and could find nothing whatsoever. this is indeed the game thanks for the help man

So there are these 2 games, I can't tell you enough how much it bothers me that I can't remember the names, I used to play them as a kid in the late 90's/early 00's...

1) and undersea point and click adventure for the pc, possibly a learning game, where you would go from screen to screen, solving problems, there was Poseidon and his trident, and I remember you were looking for these sea urchins as a bonus once and a while. I'm pretty sure the person you guided was a diver, the game was dark, and well drawn from what I can remember, and the cd case was possibly part of a set of adventures related

2)a weird and creepy pc adventure/mini-game from the 90's/early 00's where you crawled through vents and looked down into rooms, I don't remember the point of the game, all I remember was that there was one mini game where you could play squares with a hand that would draw a line between dots on the foggy window after you made your move, it was another dark themed game for parts, and I wouldn't know what the full objective of the game was

I remember a side scrolling PC game from the 90s or early 2000's, It was kind of creepy, set in a graveyard or swamp, you played a kid and would rescue little animals (cats and dogs I think, I think you had to collect keys) from cages. I think there were also undead enemies. I think it was a mystery game as well.

EDIT: Found it! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monster_Bash

Hi everyone! I am trying to find the name of a PS1 or PS2 game. In this game, there is a story mode and a fighting mode. You can choose to be either a little boy or a little girl in the story mode. The whole game is Asian-themed. In that mode, you can explore many places and fight. Eventually you grow up into one of the few characters that are available in the fighting mode. For example, you can turn out to be a blonde lady with a red dress or a brown-haired woman with a different set of skills. It's very fun because you can interact with the villagers, eat food, and do other things I can't remember. I think it takes place in China but I'm not sure. Thanks!

That sounds like Freddie Fish to me, aside from playing as a diver. That's the only game that comes to mind for me

Hi there people, I was having a problem finding one game so i came here hoping someone will remember it. Anyway i really searched all around internet, I even copy/pasted every single game from wiki cars page and nothing... So the game is on PC and it is some sort of combat cars game, you don't need to race your opponents, sandbox like game, it is top view, in a world where most of the terrain is green and sometimes changing colors, plenty of bugs around the map too i think, game is around 1997-2001 probably i don't really remember, you could even jump with car as long as i remember but don't take my word for it. You could buy weapons and cars when you were in the game standing below some kind of marquee covered in weeds and you could pick up weapons of the floor when you killed car or something like that, so if anyone remember this game please help me find this old gem. Thanks in advance!

Okay so I have been trying to figure out a game name but can't think of it. It was a game I played on the PC back when I had Windows 98. It was a birds eye view game it was 3d and your character was a guy in i believe blue pants and yellow shirt, he also had a fairly large head, you fought various creatures like zombies and some kinda squid looking creatures by throwing red hammers at them, you could upgrade your hammers by finding blue hammers or red hammers that would either make you throw them faster or give you +1 more that you throw at a time. At first your in a large house or building then you fight a boss zombie with four arms and you head to the basement where you fought a boss squid thing. I cant remember for the life of me what this one is called but I really want to figure it out.

Hi there,
I have this one game i cant find and cant get of my mind. It was my ex who introdused me to the game, but he nor his friends can remember the name of the gam
Its a gamme where u controll a vehicle that can walk on ground and fly, but it cant go in water. u also fight in air and on the ground. and u have to land on plattforms to recharge ur energy (shield and weapon). Theese plattforms are either on ground or on air carrier ships. The vehicle is blue and silver/grey if i remember correctly. if im not wrong u do not start out as a pilot, but you have to step in for the real pilot. and u go trough training in ground and air combat. and you do not controll a char just this vehicle.

This is my favorite thread on the internet, ever. So, the game I'm looking for I have been trying to find for over 10 years.

I'm almost positive the game is for the PS One. It is a 3D-fighting game and it might have multiplayer but I only played the single-player "campaign". Essentially it is a fighting game between robots where you are trying to climb a league ladder and be the number one robot. You can challenge robots above or below you and as you win you get to own one of their weapons. You are allowed to equip two weapons, one on your left arm and one on your right arm, and as you use them you become more proficient at using them and they do more damage. I'm trying to think of other memorable things.. but that was pretty much it.

Any ideas?

Im looking for an old pc? game (80s or 90s). It consisted of an egg that had to hatch and turned into a dragon. You had to teach the dragon how to blow fire and you had to feed the dragon. It lived on a rock on a mountain and when it was finished growing and it had learned everything, it flew off into the sky and you started out with a new egg to train the take care of. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I always remember this wierd point and click adventure game (possibly a DOS game in the late 80's/early 90's) set in the protaganist's comic/cartoon world. I can remember quite a bit of the game to be honest, though i've never found what it was called.

If I remember correctly, you started in a castle, with a butler who was a giant white glove, then you leave for a town where you have to fight someone in an arcade cabinet. Then somewhere between almost being boiled alive by a wolf, scaring an elephant with a mouse to activate a weird transportaion system and horribily injuring someone by rubbing a stick of butter on his work out equipment, you end up in a weird downtown area, with a black hole you can jump into to teleport, while avoiding the aliens/badguys/whatever who are transforming everything into it's dark alter-ego (i.e. turning a barn full of cows into a weird bar full of /punk rocker/ cows). Other than that, I can't remember anything else.

Seriously, if anyone had a clue what this game was called, I would love you forever.

EDIT: I just remembered, this game features a large amount of FMV video on a 2D background, with the protaganist being a middle aged man in a red-brown suit with brown hair, with a weird purple sidekick *thing*.

2nd EDIT: After a long time on google, I stumbled on a list of FMV Point and Clicks and finally found it! Burst Studio's 1996 Toonstruck :D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toonstruck

I remember playing this game in which you controlled either a tank (or was it an APC?). It was a 2-d birds eye view game, and you shot enemy tanks and APCs and jeeps.I remember that there was a river or void up North (top of the map) that was very heavily defended and cross-able only at one point.

To the right of your starting position, the most prominent feature of the enemy defense is two dark grey tanks moving in a static circle. There are also various other vehicles, like APCs and Jeeps. Some enemies' movements were entirely static (such as turning around continuously in a circle), and others were dynamic (they could follow you, chase you, were not on a set path). The most prominent dynamic enemy, and my favorite, were the light-blue camo-scheme tanks.

I never finished the game or made it past that level, which I just described, but I did once make it across the river up North. Across the river lie a great number of artillery guns and more dynamic tanks (dark grey and brown and green). There is also a huge, spiked grey ring about 3 times the size of your tank (I think it had a red center) whose function I had no idea of.

If it helps, the game's thumbnail in the folder was a monkey or something. It was played on Windows 95. Its colors weren't flat, and the fields and paved concrete had variations in hue, but it wasn't 3d either. It had a very dark color scheme.
