Hi everyone, theres a game I've always remembered from years ago but can never remember it (i remember it very clearly). It was on the Playstation 1 and i think your some kind of genetically modified tarantula spider with guns on its back which i think you upgrade. you go through a series of levels shooting enemies although I cant remember what the enemies were. Also I think the title ended in something like ''The Game''. Thanks guys.

Platform: Playstation 1
Style: Platform
Genre: Action/horror
There's a PS1 game just titled "Spider", could it be that one?

My brother and I have been trying to figure out the name of this PC game we used to play over at our friend's house, probably around 1996 or so. It was a game for kids, you would choose from these eggs, there were all different variations that would hatch different kind of dinosaur/lizard-type monsters (we keep putting dinosaur into the search and I'm starting to think we might be wrong, but I really do feel like they were dinosaurs) There was some machine or something that you set the egg onto or into to sort of incubate the egg, maybe, and then it would hatch and you would raise the little dinosaur monster. The way you could move through the different areas of the game felt kind of like a side-scroller. It was set mostly in different houses/rooms that may or may not have been tree houses. There was no fourth-wall, two or three floors per house/room. We remember that you could have multiple monsters but we can't really remember much more about the game play. The way I remembered it, I described it as a PC version of a gigapet. Although I think it may have been a lot more than that. Anyway, PLEASE help if any of this rings a bell for anyone.

I'm new to this website, not really sure how this works, this forum is set up differently than other forums I've seen, I can't seem to see any of the replies/answers to anyone's question so I hope this works.

Please and Thank You,
roguetisha

Ok so it either had multiple games or had a lot of demos. One game /demo was a racing game that was only for cars. The other game was a game with levels where you could choose different characters with specialized stats. The last game I remember is a guy you play as protecting a girl from Black shadow like creatures. It's not a third Person and might've been a platformer. This is for the ps2 or up pretty sure.
Additional information: besides the racer game none of the 2 action games were 1st or third person .Both had a fixed camera that looked down at your character ( not top down) . The game with Black creatures reminds me of prince of Persia.
The last game sounds like Ico, so I'm guessing it was a demo disk.

Hey, I'm looking for the name of the game probably from the end of the 90' (or maybe beggining of 2000'?). It was an 2d, arcade, racing game. First car was "moving" the screen, if you were to slow, or crashed you lost, the last car on the screen won the game. Cars could get weapons, extras, etc. Any1 got any ideas?

Anyway scifi futuristic game,female protagonist........
The Fifth Element game?
Just went to check it out,but not it.
Had my hopes up for sec
But thanks for trying :)

It was more graphicly advanced than fifth element,and......I dont know......the character was wearing some kind of light blue armor (could be costumizable)......it was a shooter game.......thats all the details I can remember

ohhh, dont take my word for it,but I think it looked like it was on a space station,or some mid air floating base or something like that(but that could be just one lvl,or a mission).

Ok, so this is not as much a game as it is just a piece of software for kids. I don't remember the name but I remember playing it on WINDOWS 95, and it was a 2D Movie Maker game. It had a library of pics of things like animals and people and cars and stuff that you could paste onto backgrounds, there was music and sound effects to add. And you would move these pics around and record it, then playback and have a movie. For some reason I was thinking it was called Magic-something like Magic Movie Maker, but after googling for a few minutes I can't find anything. I think it either came packaged with windows 95 or it was on a shareware disk or something. Please help me out, it's driving me nuts!

1. It was 2d
2. There were tons of art assets to use, things like people and animals
3. There were backgrounds
4. There were sound effects and music to use
5. You would animate it yourself, and record the moves to make a movie.

Thanks so much!

hello! i really, really hope some of you could be of assistance, though i guarantee this will be a rather difficult trick. it would mean very, very much to me if someone could help me out, i am looking for what may very well be the first video game i have ever played, myself hoping to work in the industry. i even created an escapist account once i discovered the thread just so i may be able to find this game.

please understand that the memories of this game were in the earlier years of my childhood, so some of it may be corrupted and difficult to translate.

the game had absolutely no violence or fighting, and was more of a puzzle progression game( it is NOT zelda or mario). at the very beginning, in the intro, you are shown a door with five-odd gems or stones in it. it tells you something along the lines of, you must find all the gems to free a fairy... something like that. you play as a girl (the game name may be that of the girl) and you first must find your way out of the house. you had to go around the town and go through a progression of events, talking to people and doing favors for them. these favors would include minigames, such as finding flowers, catching acorns from squirrels, and one that included fireworks. after you completed a minigame, you recieved one of the stones. i only recall ever playing through to the end once, to find the fairy in a cavern... i believe you had a time limit as well.

i hope i described it well enough. please, i really do hope you can help me, despite the little chance!
EDIT: i almost forgot to mention, it was for the very first, original gameboy!

There's an old game I remember plaing as a kid many years ago. I played it on an emulator so I don't know what console this was on, but I think it's a Nintendo game.

It was, I think, an RPG style game and there was some sort of "prologue-level" before the actual game started where you play as a dragon (a blue one if memory serves me right) wandering around a village/town at night. There are a few people that you can burn alive. One thing I remember best is you can go into a house, where you burn a woman. She cries something like "spare my child". As you enter the kids room you see it lying in bed before burning it, too. It's macabre, I know, but that's a part that I have the fondest memory of.
Anyway, there are, if I'm not mistaken, three exits out of this village/town: one to the east, another one to the south and the third one to the west. If you leave through any of these exits the level ends and the actual game begins. (Where it may or may not be revealed that what I just told you was some bad dream the hero had? I'm not really sure about this part anymore)

So, does anyone know what game I'm talking about? It's not much, I know and as a kid I never played past this part because I didn't speak any English back then and never understood what the game was about.
That realy sounds like dragon quest 3, at the start of the game you get to answer questions and then a quick event to test your personality (and the dragon running around sounds a lot like what one of those events would be).
IF you want to play Dragon quest 3 play the SNES version.
YES! That's the game. Thanks a lot. I've been looking for it for the last 12 years or so!

Hey all!
So I am trying to hard to remember this Mech game from somewhere in the 90's my dad gave it to me when I was a kid. There were two alien races and a human race to choose from. You start in a mech but you can exit and use a gun (i think it was something like a "GASHER") to kick another person out of their vehicle. You had to access the enemies codes to activate bridges and towers. It had the most epic music and every time you wanted to quit a female voice would ask "Are you sure?" in a semi-seductive manner that I always poked fun at. There was a wide range of vehicles from bipedal mechs to spider looking mechs as well. Please help I have been looking for so long...

I am trying to remember this game. Bare with me because it was a game for teenage girls and it wasn't very popular, so I may just be SOL. Anyway!
It was a series and it allowed you to make decisions and the ones you made affected the outcome of the game. It had one main character who I believe the game was titled after and you played as her. The first game started off with you as the new girl at school. As you made friends you got to look into their lockers to find out more about them and there was a yearbook you could look at, etc. I know this is pretty vague but it's the most of what I remember.
Thanks!!
