There's an old game I remember plaing as a kid many years ago. I played it on an emulator so I don't know what console this was on, but I think it's a Nintendo game.

It was, I think, an RPG style game and there was some sort of "prologue-level" before the actual game started where you play as a dragon (a blue one if memory serves me right) wandering around a village/town at night. There are a few people that you can burn alive. One thing I remember best is you can go into a house, where you burn a woman. She cries something like "spare my child". As you enter the kids room you see it lying in bed before burning it, too. It's macabre, I know, but that's a part that I have the fondest memory of.
Anyway, there are, if I'm not mistaken, three exits out of this village/town: one to the east, another one to the south and the third one to the west. If you leave through any of these exits the level ends and the actual game begins. (Where it may or may not be revealed that what I just told you was some bad dream the hero had? I'm not really sure about this part anymore)

So, does anyone know what game I'm talking about? It's not much, I know and as a kid I never played past this part because I didn't speak any English back then and never understood what the game was about.

There was a game I remember slightly but I can't remember which console it was for:
You played as either a teenager or youngish adult and it was set in the future and I think it was a 2d side scrolling game and the thing I remeber most about it was that fact when you went to get in your flying car if you stepped the metal tracks you would be killed by electrocution.

There was this PS1 3D game where you had a sort of sphere with a cannon on each "side" and you could shoot other spheres and geometrical figures.
The game was in a magazine demo disc, perhaps has been made with the net yaroze bundle (in fact the graphics were really simple and looked like an unfinished product).
I've already searched in the essential PS1 discs' game list without success.

EDIT: I'VE FOUND AN ANSWER http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XULTKuxJ7Io&feature=player_detailpage#t=326s

The game is called Sphere, duh! It was one of the games made with the net yaroze developer kit.

Hello.
When I was like 3 or 4 years old, sometime around the 98, I used to play a PC game that was something like this:
You could choose between several characters, one of them was a really big guy with one of these things http://community.fortunecity.ws/roswell/callanish/96/morning-star.jpg . Then there was a sorcerer, I don't remember how he was. Then there was a girl that had a scepter, she was a sorcerer too I think and she looked kinda like Poison Ivy from Batman. And the only level I remember was a dungeon and you had to kill goblin-like monsters that made a strange sound like "ANIANIA" or something like that.
Please help me remember the name, I really want to play that game again.
the game is diablo mate, you can choose many classes like necromancer, barbarian, sorceress etc

I recall an old Playstation game in which you played as an anthropomorphic tiger who had some sort of Chi powers. But in the beginning, you are attacked by this Dragon and are on a revenge quest. You go around and meet/battle other Zodiac animals. The name has escaped me for fifteen years.

Here you go, its 'T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger'. i used to play it years ago. Amazing game.

Hey Escapists, there was this PC game I played long ago. It's pretty old. The plot is, an asteroid is coming to earth. Earth launched a missile that cracked it into two equally dangerous pieces, so it only bought earth time to send a colony ship to a near star. You begin the game by reading about several barren planets' physical properties, picking one, and then start building on the planet's surface, as well as underground levels, including oxygen supply systems and shit like that, on a square grid. Kinda like a sim-city in space. Any ideas what that is?

Sounds more like Diablo II, but I don't recall one of the classes having a flail in the class selection screen. There are quite a few "Diablo Clones" from around that time, so it might've been one of those.

My brother and I have been trying to figure out the name of this PC game we used to play over at our friend's house, probably around 1996 or so. It was a game for kids, you would choose from these eggs, there were all different variations that would hatch different kind of dinosaur/lizard-type monsters (we keep putting dinosaur into the search and I'm starting to think we might be wrong, but I really do feel like they were dinosaurs) There was some machine or something that you set the egg onto or into to sort of incubate the egg, maybe, and then it would hatch and you would raise the little dinosaur monster. The way you could move through the different areas of the game felt kind of like a side-scroller. It was set mostly in different houses/rooms that may or may not have been tree houses. There was no fourth-wall, two or three floors per house/room. We remember that you could have multiple monsters but we can't really remember much more about the game play. The way I remembered it, I described it as a PC version of a gigapet. Although I think it may have been a lot more than that. Anyway, PLEASE help if any of this rings a bell for anyone.

I'm new to this website, not really sure how this works, this forum is set up differently than other forums I've seen, I can't seem to see any of the replies/answers to anyone's question so I hope this works.

Please and Thank You,
roguetisha

Could be one of the Creatures games.

Ok so it either had multiple games or had a lot of demos. One game /demo was a racing game that was only for cars. The other game was a game with levels where you could choose different characters with specialized stats. The last game I remember is a guy you play as protecting a girl from Black shadow like creatures. It's not a third Person and might've been a platformer. This is for the ps2 or up pretty sure.
Additional information: besides the racer game none of the 2 action games were 1st or third person .Both had a fixed camera that looked down at your character ( not top down) . The game with Black creatures reminds me of prince of Persia.

Old PC Spaceship game name?

This game looks a lot like "Spacezero" in a sense that it had a black background with "stars", green outline of planets and a 2D feel. You start off with your ship on your planet, which was indicated by a square in the center of the planet with the same colour as your ship. The planet was surrounded by one or two Defense Towers, which also had the same colour as your ship somewhere on it.

The objective of the game was to conquer surrounding unmarked planets (without a coloured square of anykind) by landing on them for a short period of time, then your colour of square would appear in the center of the planet, which then would cause a Defense Tower to leave your home planet and travel to the new planet for protection against others who could try to conquer it.
You could, however, destroy and conquer other already "conquered" planets by destroying all the Defense Towers and landing on said planet, causing the square in the center to change to a new colour, corresponding to the new spaceship that landed on it.
Same thing goes for wandering Defense Towers, if you aimed right at the tip, I believe, you could conquer said Tower...or blow it up completely.

To win the game you had to destroy all other players, which meant for you to destroy all planets and Defense Towers of that colour so there would be no chance for them to re-spawn.

I believe there could be about 4 players in total, possibly manual or computer operated.

it was a top down line asteroids type with newtonian physics, simple colored line graphics.

It had multiplayer but I never got a chance to try it, just played with the computers.

You play the game by flying around and landing on planets (which requires approaching, slowing down, turning around, and pulsing your thrusters) to plant your color flag.

Once planted any transport ships you have built will leave for it and automatically start building your base.

To conquer a planet you had to destroy all the buildings on it, a ***** while not getting hit yourself.

From time to time a research center on one of your planets would make a noise and start flashing, if you landed on that planet (or the orbiting docking station) you would get an upgrade like a shield, missiles, etc.

I remember it had sound effects mostly pulled from star trek.

Im pretty sure to is not "escape velocity" or "naev", because the game was made just with lines like "asteroids" but they resemble to this game, just is older than them

Any suggestions and/or links would be very appreciated, I've been wondering this for a while now. Thanks in advance!

Help!!! I'm trying to find a game I played 5-10 years ago. It was pre-installed on my Windows. It was a 3D cannon game, where you started on the top of a tall hill and you shot through clouds to hit these giant hills of other cannons. I remember that map usually being a small island. It was first person style, which made it different from the other cannon hill smashing games. If anyone can tell me what PC game this was? It was for XP or Vista I think.

I'm trying to remember an old PC game I played from when I was a kid, maybe mid 90s. The game played like a side scroller and you had to climb this massive stone city that was shaped like a stepped pyramid. I remember the lower levels being slummy and the upper levels were quite rich with some sort of palace on top. I want to say the premise was to assassinate someone up there, maybe royalty. I think the character was framed or something and the game may have started with breaking out of a dungeon of some sort. All of this was kind of fantasy medieval themed. Huge thanks to anyone who can remember this one!

...oh, and I think the music may have had a rock element to it.

Hey
When I was about 4-5 years old I played a 2D game on my Computer where you were such a Figure
(He was purple in clothes, and fired missiles)
You started in a large room on a Planet (Ithink) where you could go into different Levels
In each level you had to collect all the diamonds/Gems before you could complete the Level
Sometimes emerged that fruit up you could pick for extra Points

I've looked and looked and looked for the game for a very long time without any results
Does anyone know what this game is called?
Because I really miss to try it again
