I used to play a PC game when I was a kid. It was a 2d platformer. You had to colect tiny round gold ingots nad sometimes there were diamonds. The player character was dressed in a white lab coat (I think!). The first level was at the surface, and very easy, but then you had to go down on a mine elevator to reach the second level. Then there were some enemies running back and forth, and chasing you, and you could run to the elevator cage and use it as a safe zone. If you touched the enemies you would die.
To go to the next level you had to collect gold or gems and reach the other elvator to go down.

I hope this is enough!

Thanks in advance!

hello everyone, like a lot of people, i created an account to find a game, and apparently, this guy is looking for the same game as me, so i will help him and myself by doing this, so if anyone have any idea of the name or the company of the game, please answer

Hey guys, don't know if anyone has asked this before, but I remember an arcade game I played like 12 years ago, it was a side-scrolling game, beat em up, and the characters were some guys which fight on the streets, it wasn't streets of rage or double dragon, neither final fight, the special thing I remember about this game was that there were some power ups that transformed the characters into guys more bigger or stronger... They didn't transform in monsters or animals, they just were bulked up or something, maybe someone knows it?

PD: There is an online game named urban rivals that it looks like the game I'm trying to remember, but it was an arcade...

OK, here I go
I played an old (I think on a MAC) computer game that was installed onto my schools computers when I was in grade 3 (which was in 1997-1998). It was a puzzle game, you first start off by picking from 3 kids (different kids gave you different difficulty levels if I recall correctly). Then, you click different parts on an island, and if you solve the different puzzles/challenges, you could get items. I never beat the game, but I remember that a) most scenes are just still pictures that require different clicks to solve the puzzle, and b) most of the game was black and white, and the animation was weird and a little creepy. Thanks!

Hi guys. I want to know the name of this PC side scrolling game. (I'll tell some various level that I hope some of you may know.) You control a robot, if not, a humanoid and if not a humanoid, a human. (Sorry, I can't really tell. I'm really sorry) The enemies are robots and i'm sure of it. For the setting or level, the setting is a city and it's night time. Then you go to a Pine Forest (I have no idea why) and it's still full of robot enemies. For the others, you sometimes need a color coded keycard to enter this specific door. I still remember an in-game easter egg. The easter egg is a poster of the movie "Predator". I hope that helps. I'm terribly sorry if my English is bad. Really sorry.

Edit: I managed to find it!!! After looking through the over 900 game list that wiki had. It was Whacked! and I have no idea where I got frenzy...must've been a feature in the game.

I have a terrible memory and I'm trying to remember a game from 10 years ago so I hope I can provide enough information...

I'm pretty sure it was an xbox game (though whether it was first generation or a 360 I can't remember since it belonged to a friend). I remember playing it on live. It was a sort of fighting game, though not like Street Fighter or anything like that. You could pick from these cute yet ugly little animals (maybe not all of them were animals) and you would run around the arena picking up weapons to kill others.

I remember one arena was like a christmas scene where the players were tiny and there was a toy train on a track and you could jump up on the presents. Along with another arena that was outside at night, with cobble stones and some lights...

I can't remember any words but the only thing that comes to mind is the word frenzy. I know it's not Fusion Frenzy because I'm not familiar with that at all. It almost feels like I'm searching for something that doesn't exist cause I find absolutely no trace of it. Hopefully I said enough about it, I apologize if I haven't.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I've been trying so long to remember this game, I hope somebody knows it.

It's a PC game, point and click, around year 1999. What I remember from years ago that might be wrong: there was a boy playing on the street and entered in a house, but he went to a kind of laboratory and took a beam and became like... yellow, or green, I don't remember exactly. But the goal was to get out of the house, and to do so you walked trhough the rooms of the house gathering things to open doors and stuff. The 'final boss' was a fat yellow cat. I remember the game in general being kind of bizarre and with a style resembling invader zim. It was a weird name too.

Thanks for the attention and apologies for my bad english!

I have a really vague memory of a PC dos game from the mid-90s. I think it came from a sampler disk on a magazine.
You were a wizard (or magician) and you had to get through rooms by changing into other things. I remember a rabbit? Something about a hook, and maybe bats?
The graphics were cyan and black (I think), and it was a simple side-view puzzle/strategy game in one room per level.

It was possibly completely different from any of these things in my memory, but that's the best I can do!
(It's definitely not Hocus Pocus)

I recall an old PC game, which I'm pretty sure came from the 90's. I also don't think it was available on consoles, so that might narrow it down for you. I played this game for about an hour at a friend's house and never did get my hands on it, so the details are pretty vague.

What I do remember is it had a 3rd person view, was somewhat of an adventure game (Non RPG), and had something to do with elemental worlds/bosses. It also had a hub for these worlds, which is what I remember the most.

The hub was kinda bowl shaped, but not a true bowl. Let me explain. When you appear in this hub you're standing on a grassy path and need to walk the curved path "down" to the center of the hub. You can't walk around the "edge" of the "bowl" because it doesn't exist, off to the sides of you is nothing but air. When you walk down the path and hit the center of the "hub" at your immediate left begins the display of the different worlds and they continue around your front and end off to your right. I believe there are 5 different worlds. I remember one of the worlds was an "earth" (as in dirt) world, one was ice (or water), and I think there was even a shadow (or air) one. Each world type was represented in this hub as a castle or gateway of some kind. I also believe when you defeated a world you gained the power of that world, but can't be sure of that.

I really wish I had more detail for you, but that's pretty much all I can recall. Couldn't tell you how "main stream" this game was. It wasn't something as popular as Starcraft, but it wasn't a "dollar bin" special either.

Hey Guys,

I am trying to find a late 90's PC game for window95 or xp.
(Sorry it will probably be a vague description)
It was a puzzle adventure game.
You started off creating 20 or so characters, (I remember them being small ballish characters (Purple I think). You selected their feet, could be a spring, wheels or shoes, their eyes and hair style.)
Once you have the character you have to get them through a series of puzzles and if you fail you lose a that character.
I remember their being a pizza creating challenge as well as a bridge crossing challenge where you have to get everyone across either bridge based on how the characters where created. If the bridge didn't like it the (Tree?) holding it up would sneeze and send the character over the edge. The point of the game was to get everyone to the end paradise world.
Any help telling me the name would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All! I'm looking for a PC game for Windows 98, probably from the late 90's. It was a form of strategy game where you would start with a commander-robot.

Buildings were kinda built like some sort of "magic green powder" (probably some form of energy)

you would start the game by building up an army of robots (almost like starcraft, age of empires, Warcraft etc.) just that this game was based on machines/robots that fired with machineguns, laser etc.

The commander had a sort of "special ability" to fire a "super-bomb-flame" from his arm that would kill anything that got hit by it, but this would require alot of energy.

Further in the game you could get different type of builders/workers, but they're not as fast as the commander robot.

The game has no humans in it, so I would say it takes place on some other planet.

instead of gold or wood or other normaly resources, you would gather a form of energy and metal, and this would always recharge itself up, but would recharge faster if you have special buildings.
I think that this game only could be played on the "Packard Bell" computers (I could never install it on any other computer).
you had the standar custom or campaign modes.
Please help! thanks

Ok, I think I have a hard one for you guys! I have been searching for a single computer game for years. It was a game that reminds me of a game called gauntlet. It was third person and I do remember there being the options of different characters, but the main one was an axe thrower. You went through dungeons with hordes of realistic monsters. I remember it was very graphic and gory and it was a tad scary. But the detail was astounding for that time period and it was dark and eerie the entire time. I remember coming across a room with a giant spider and lots of eggs and other things you had to kill. Thanks for the help! :D

Hey guys.

Awesome thread! Had a good trawl through, but all the ones I can answer have been answered..

So I recall a coin op arcade game in our local newsagents. Must have been 87-90 or thereabouts. 2D side on platformer where you played as either a young boy, a girl or a strong man. Each character had it's own strengths and weaknesses - eg there were certain gaps that the strong man couldn't get over as he couldn't jump as far. You could switch out between the different characters (possibly by collecting tokens to allow the swap?). It was all kinda swinging jumping falling dodging kind of action and hella fun.

Been evading me for 20 years this one...
That's "Psychic 5" one of my all times favs!!!
You my friend are a star! 25 years since I played this! :)

Hey, I think you're referring to "Logical Journey of the Zoombinis". Was an educational puzzle game. :)

Trash It for ps1. I only had the demo, but at the time the builder being able to squeeze entirely inside his own hat was the funniest thing in the world.
