I'm looking for a game roughly late 90s early 00s either ps1 or ps2 side scroller something along the lines of a boy goes out for an adventure in his backyard to find himself on a strange planet with danger at every turn. The enemy was sort of shadow like creatures and everything was kind of "rink-a-dink" like his helmet was a pot... idk help me out fellas????
Tons of people look for that game. I believe it was Heart of Darkness. I have never played it personally.
Great game. Spirital successor to Another World, a great snes game that people probably ask about too(A black beast chases a guy around a weird planet).

I've been trying to remember this game for years. It was a RPG for the SNES. I don't know how popular it was, I don't remember there being any story worth noting.

Basically you started the game and you were able to pick between a Wizard and a Warrior, don't remember being another option, maybe a third. You were placed in this open flat world, my memory could be wrong but when you ran, it seemed like the world moved under your feet instead of your character moving.
The world had day/night shifts with different monsters coming out at night, had "dragons" that reminded me of more asian inspired dragons, serpent shaped, that flew around in a wave pattern, had bright colours.
There was also a HUD along the bottom portion of the screen.

Not much to go on, I know, which is why I still haven't found it!

Hi, I'm looking for an old game I used to play on the pc.
1: You played some sort of flying robot thing
2: You were on a flying platform
3: You had to draw lines to block balls in a small area
4: If you get hit by a ball while drawing a line, you got destroyed

I've been looking for this game for a while and couldn't find anything.
The gameplay sounds like Qix http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qix
Possibly a clone? http://tinyurl.com/cwn5348

Hi I'm looking for 2 (possibly 1) game, from '95 or '98 on the PC, one was more of a collection of games such as pitfall and other games (I think mainly demos if I remember correctly) and in order to play the games you had to find them in a brief maze sort of thing, like you had a collection of games but they were set out in a ship or something, possibly at control panels.

The second game I am looking for may actually be one of the games the previous collection came with, you are flying a jet and all I really remember about it is that a boss (maybe the end boss) is a giant cobra, pretty sure I also remember pyramids too. I know this isn't much to go on but if someone can help me find what these are I would greatly appreciate it, it has been annoying me recently.
Anyone know this? Anyone at all who can help?

you pretty much control a knight on a horse RTS style but its 2d. you take turns to explore around the map and you have your own army that consists of medieval soldiers to different creatures of fantasy like skeletons/ undead creatures/ bone dragons etc etc. you can raid castles and your army battles it out. this was a really fun game please help me find it!!
Sounds like one of the Heroes of Might and Magic games.

Spotty details here, but I've been trying to learn the name of this for over a decade.

It was a PC game, first person fantasy-style RPG. I'm fuzzy on the date I played it, but I would imagine it came out between 1995 and 2000 or so.

From what I recall, you started out in a cave or a prison, and one of the first weapons you got was a piece of a crystal that you'd slash with. You could also shapeshift into some sort of a beast. That's about all I remember!

If anyone knows what this is, I'd be amazed. Thank you!
This must be Lands of Lore II.

Hi There

I'm really struggling to remember the name of this game, the biggest problem is that I can barely remember the game itself.

I remember that I played it at primary school on a windows pc, sometime between 1999-2002. So it definitely came before 2002!

The game had you playing through different levels in first person view in some sort of spaceship(?) destroying other spaceships. However, I don't think it was in space itself, because I remember that there were different levels and in one of the later levels you were flying around within a place full of lava firing different laser weapons depending on the power ups you had picked up; naturally if you touched the lava it would reduce your health really quickly.

I remember rationing health a lot, and trying to sneak up on these other spaceships to avoid having low health later on in the level. Also, For some reason I remember thinking that green laser beams were very powerful (although that may be wrong).

Incredibly vague, I know but any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks

Hey I have a kind of old flash game that I have been trying to track down for a while now, and I'm wondering if anyone would help me.
It's a 2d side-scroller with almost a neon look to it. It's a space adventure game where you are a green space ship and have to do missions and kill red spaceships, sometimes salvaging a weapon you can add to your ship. There are different sectors(witch were basically a grid for the playing field but with special properties) like safe haven(53-27), deadzone(63-32), hostile area(22-17), etc. there were also different NPCs that were just really big space ships. I can't remember the story(if there is one) though. Anyways, I would like some help with this.

Unfortunately that's not it :( but thanks for looking. The game I am looking for is 3D and I think it was a Shockwave game but I'm not too sure.

Here I am. Yet another person begging for help to remember the name of an old game. My description is vague of course. In fact, I'm honestly not sure if I'm recollecting 2 parts of one game or 2 completely different games. Anyway, it or they were PC games circa early to mid 80s. The one that I've been dying to remember for at least a decade now featured the player as a robot and from what I can remember you had to connect or interface with other "enemy" robots to essentially transfer to and "become" them as your new "body". I could be way off but I want to say there were 9 levels or types of robots with 9 being the most powerful. Now there are other details I remember but, again, I'm not sure if my memory is combining two games. However, same game or not, I recall a couple of sound bites. One would occur periodically and I believe randomly throughout gameplay when presumably the boss (off-screen) would cry out, "You can't hurt me!" And if you should fall down one of many gaps in the platforms your player walks across (kind of like cross section elevator shafts) you had a very distinctive "aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhgg....." as you fell to your death. Any help will be greatly appreciated and if this is truly 2 games and not 1, I'm most interested in details about the robot game. Thanks.

Alright so the game I am trying to remember the name of is an "old" PC game - maybe late 90s. You controlled a small group of soldiers (up to 4 different characters - but I think only one at a time), and each had their own specialization (demolition, rifle, machine gun, etc.). The main point of camera view was a fixed bird's eye that could not zoom or rotate (not even sure you could move it). The gameplay was somewhat linear - you had to execute missions in a campaign style, but you had minimal freedom in loadouts, character, path, etc.

I remember sneaking around the enemy guards and being able to visually see their view area (cone graphic), being able to stealthily assassinate them. I also remember the character responding with a "I'm coming over!" line sometimes when you would tell him to move.

I want to say the title is something like Soldiers, Mercenaries, UHG!!!! It's driving me nuts. I really hope someone remembers!

There was this game I used to play I can only remember what it looks like. It was the PC and it was 2d but had decent graphics for the year I was playing it which was the late 90s to early 2000's You could pick 2 choices either doing the stratagey based story line with troops searching for missing people and wandering a fantasy type area or you could skip that and just play the tower defense part of the game where you could pick from being a mage who could summon demons/dragons. There was they typical knight class who could build troops and had human soldiers or there was a woman who was a water type class and she could have (i beileve) mermaid or something to that effect with water type troops. The troops cost mana but you would have to build castles or santuaries depending on their race to allow more troops to be made. They could build walls to defend their area and use ships to snipe out enemies on the waterfront. I just really remember that dragons could be comanded with the mage and use them to kill other troops. I can also remember that they had a demon dog in a cage and could shoot ranged fire attacks at incomming enemies. I don't know if I will ever remember the name of that game but I wanted to try this and see if someone had an idea of what it might be. I would really like to play it one more time....

I'm trying to figure out this one computer game I use to play in the very early 2000s. It was either made maybe somewhere around 1997 to 2006. I'm getting so desperate to find it lol, and can't seem to find ANYTHING that looks like it in Google.
Well it's I thinks two player game. The theme is about dinosaurs, and at first I think a helicopter would drop off these two jeeps. There was a trail the cars would follow and each player would race to the end I think. It might have been also in single player as well. During the game some activities came us such as having to collect pairs of fossils in a cave where you hover over them in the dark with a flashlight with your mouse. Another thing that happened would be that sometimes your car would get stuck in mud or around mosquitoes and you had the option to taze them or use pepper spray on them. It looked like a board game almost because of the view of the game. Other details would be every time the jeep accelerated or move from its spot it would make the grumbly sound just like a Car does. the Animated people in the game would speak at times. I'm very sure there were parts where you pick a card (only 50% sure) there were many other things that went on in the game but that's about all I can clearly remember. Please let me know ANY ideas, thanks! Feel free to ask questions

Other things I can somewhat remember is I think there was a shop where you could buy the tazer & the pepper spray.
I feel as if there were some cards that you can pick up to see what activity you would be doing. & what I mean by the view is that it's like Go Home Dinosaurs game cause it overlooks the whole thing. It's not to clear, but again, any suggestions are appreciated.

I FOUND IT THANKS TO AMAZON. IT'S JURASSIC PARK 3 DANGER ZONE!!!!!

So I've been trying to figure out this game for like ten years. Early 2000s, I believe.
It was either a downloadable game or a floppy, but it had to have been easy to run because my brother and I were not tech-savvy 8 and 10 year olds.
There is a river with two villages. Kind of board game-ish. Each village builds different buildings to determine what they train their villagers as, for example knights and wizards. When either side feels sufficiently ready for battle they can build a bridge. That's all I remember, aside from each village being red and blue, respectively.
I remember us having so much fun and it'd just be cool to see if it holds up to what I remember it as.

Hi! So, I've been looking wondering about and looking for a game for years, it's a game I played with my best friend when we were kids. He doesn't remember it's name either so I thought I'd ask here. Unfortunately I don't have much to tell about it since it happened a long time ago and i was just a little kid enjoying a game anyway:

It was a PS or PS2 game (PS2 I think) probably 5-10 years old now. In it you controlled one of two (might have been three) human, or very humanlike characters, it was somekind of rpg/adventure game, happened in a city, very gray and gloomy. There were some kind of fights in the game, and then you were able to buy new special moves such as different kicks and punches and stuff for your character. I remember one fighting scene being somekind of a bar, or otherwise pretty open room (still gloomy and not very colorful), and another one in the pretty early stages being in or near a tram or something like that.

Dunno if it's possible to find the game with such bad help but I'm hoping for the best!

I asked for help before but got no answers, hopefully somebody knows the game :)

E:
Also looking for the name of a Game Boy Color/Game Boy Advance game in which you played as a toy soldier.

I recall a game I played around 2006 when I was a preteen in a hotel just before we were flying back home...I think it was a ps2 game but it IS possible it was a playstation... I can only remember walking in this little village that kinda seemed like the pilgrim time and as I walked about there was this one 'begger' woman under a tree. If you tossed her a coin and waited a few seconds the screen would zoom in and she would sing this song with purely her voice- I don't even think words were used, and it was absolutely stunning. I have been wanting to find this game for just that song. Sorry its vague..
