Hello guys
There was this game I used to play years ago on my old pc. it was about monkeys but I cant find it on the internet...
It was a 2D platform game.
You would start with controlling 1 or 2 free monkeys and rescue other monkeys from wooden cages, use some sticks to open/close various stuff(gates, elevators, cages..). When you switch between monkeys, bubbles would come up from previous monkey's head then fly to the next monkey(like a special effect). If I remember right, they would be like electrified too. Pressing a key would make it scream. They could climb and move hanging on ivy. it was single or two player game with
an information panel much like age of empires2. At the end of the game you would come across with a space shuttle or rocket, saving more monkeys from a mad scientist?? Somewhat resembles this game but it was not this game:
http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/3063/trt.png
must be available around in 90s or early 2000s.

Don't have time to read through the whole thread but hopefully it has been posted before although undoubtedly. It may be a vague description but i'll try to be as helpful as possible. It was this game with loads of different characters and they alln had there own car, and there where different levels and I think in each level you used to have to play as one character and defeat all the other characters with your car, and you could get certain special abilities for each car/character the game was on PS2 and I remember one character which had a brown box shaped car I think and its special ability weapon was like a hoover which shredded stuff up when it sucked it in. Thats all I can remember any help would be much appreciated.
"...it was very cartoon-like."

Looking for an old PC game from around 1991, it is a turn based space colonization game. The planets were just letters on a map (ie [H]). Each players turn was hidden from the others. Players would secretly send a number of spaceships to a planet. The planets you already owned helped you build new ships. It was a blast to play... often I would send ships to attach a planet, but right before or after someone else attacked the planet.

I have been looking off and on for YEARS for this game. It is NOT VGA PLANETS or MoO. it was just a dos based text game, amazing that we had so much fun with it!

I remember a game from the 90's on the PC where you were a scientist competing with another evil scientist in a drag race, and before you would race, you'd go through a platforming section to collect car parts, while avoiding robots that move around the area. If I remember correctly, you would have to collect 3 or more parts; a Chassis, a set of wheels, and an engine. There was a cardboard box car, a square car, and an oval car if memory serves. I also remember that it was called something like "The incredible machine" or something along those lines, although it wasn't the physics puzzle game where you create the rube goldberg-esque machines. If anyone knows the game I'm talking about, it's been driving me crazy all day! I'd appreciate an answer.

Okay, so I'm looking for the name of an older PC game. You pick one of four factions: scientists, marines, or one of two alien races. One of the races wore purple and might've been called the Overlords, but my memory is shaky on that. The other ones were magic. Anyway, you picked your faction and then you had to explore the map, finding resources, building things and doing research to get upgrades. You would lead your troop over the map and battle other factions. Any help on this would be much appreciated.
I've been trying to think of anything else that would be helpful. I remember that the scientists wore green, and that one of the alien factions had guys that kind of looked like E.T. and could ride around on a creature with six legs. I played it sometime in the early 2000s, but I'm not sure if the game was from then or if it was late '90s.

Hello!

I can remember a game which we had on our school computer, back in 2004. I can only remember the start of it. It featured a silver robot of medium height (maybe an alien in a suit) who landed in a UFO on a farm. There was also a red barn. You could walk around and shoot things (maybe you could do other actions, I can't remember). It was a third-person view (you could see the entire robot walking around). This game also had cartoony graphics. The main menu had a space background. Maybe you also had to solve some sort of puzzles, for example moving a tractor out of the way. I think you also had to shoot aliens, but I can't remember clearly.

Thanks in advance to anyone that helps find this game!

I am very desperate with the search of a game.
1. the genre i think it is : medieval/fantasy
2. i played this game on the PC, windows XP.
3. It was in the year 2000-2005, in the time of cs 1.6
4. The name i remember is B.A.M or B.A.M.S.E
5. the vision is the same as heroes 3 ( the vision from above ).
6. The unit that i remember is and stone giant ( the same model as tiny in dota, but smaller )
7. another thing that i remember is that 4 units ( workers ) could join to form some kind of a building ( a base ).
8. In the first level i could destroy buildings and get some equipments. In the middle of the map i remember that i had some archers to defend, the part of the building destruction happens on the lower of the map.
9. The distinctive feature would be that in the second level after some time the game would crash. Every time after an step the game crashes.
10. I think that some dragons spawns in the level 2.
The graphics weren't too great.
Help me to find the title of the game
Can someone help me with this game name? I remember that the first map was a town and i had some archers to put in the middle of the map in a key position. The rest of the army was ravaging the buildings to get some goodies.

Guys, I need a little help. There was this PS1 or PS2 title featured on the Escapist a while back - it was a vehicle construction game that utilized panels to create things ranging from simple cars to transformers. It only turned a profit very recently after being released on PSN, I think.

Thanks!

This sounds kind of close, but it's not the game I'm thinking of. The game you shared has humans and three alien races, the game I'm thinking of has two human factions (human scientists and human soldiers) as well as two alien races, one of which was more technologically advanced than the other. It's similar in the fact that none of the four are equal; each have their strengths and weaknesses. It was a good suggestion, and I appreciate the effort. It helped jog my memory a bit. The game I'm looking for is real time strategy, like the one you suggested, and I remember that it had a mini map in the corner that was black where you hadn't explored. There were missions, where sometimes you had to find an object, building, or group (either allies from your faction or enemies from another faction that needed to be defeated) but it was a shot in the dark because at the very beginning of the mission you can't see any of the map. I think there were pine trees that you cut down to build buildings, weaponry, or vehicles for your units.

OK--this is a stretch, google has failed me completely!

I recall a game from the mid or early 90s, I believe with full actors/video.

It was played like Myst--you walked around a military base (with a garden in the middle) and were some type of military/private security who had just arrive on base.

Presumably you are on an alien world and are there to protect colonists.

You talk to people and take the interminable elevator up and down stairs.

You get lectured repeatedly on the dangers of the aliens and the atmosphere, and are told you will die instantly if your suit is ruptured or you remove the helmet.

At the end of the disc, I'd go outside finally for the first time, to fight aliens. An explosion or something knocks you over, and an alien looms overhead, before removing your helmet.

With the helmet off, you realize it is really a woman with reddish curly hair, and it looks like you are actually in a normal atmosphere.

Anyone else remember this game?

Hi guys! I know it's a long shot to find game but I thought to ask here in the hope that maybe someone will know it.. I'm looking for a game I played on the internet a few years ago. It's a platform game in which you are a cube and I think you use your shadow. In the end you realize that it was just a made up realllity or a way to deal with your lost.. ( during the game you meet another cube and you loss her). Anyway it was very emotional ending! Hope to hear someone know the name or at least played this awsome game. Thanks in advance!
Is that Thomas was Alone? I own it but haven't played it yet.
No. it's not. It is a much older game than that, and there weren't so many characters.(It's not "Pretentious Game" either) Thank you anyway!!! Thomas was alone is a great game btw, you should play it! :) that was the reason I remembered playing the old game.

alright its my turn on this badboy, i used to play a game on the pc i believe around the same time that a game called enclave came out, it was a darker game but a action rpg kinda like how enclave was, i think you got 3 classes, the basic warrior, mage, and assassin. each had their own story and abilities and armor and all that awesome jazz, it also had a multiplayer that wasnt too big though, at least from what i remember. the story started off that a eclipse happened and then never left, and with that all sorts of evil creatures came pouring out over the world and enslaving and killing all of human kind, i think it was a over the shoulder hack and slash but also could be first person i think, i just remembered it when i started playing enclave again through steam, the game had to be around the same time rune was out also cause that seemed the time for games to take that awesome route.
it had a awesome singleplayer campaign that was pretty lengthy as well and you fought all sorts of enemies from orcs and goblins to constructs and demons i think, i anyone remembers this game please PLEASE let me know, enclave is awesome even around this time but the game im trying to remember was better cause of how sick the story was and the fighting was just kick ass too

I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.
