Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Im trying to remember a certain game I had for the pc. I must have had it around 1996-2001.
It was a first person point and click adventure/ fantasy game.
It started off in a town where magic is persicuted. And everyones too scared to come out of their homes. It begins by trying to steal a magic lamp from a shop. To do this you have to set the shop on fire. Also you have to catch a talking fish with a piece of plastic used from a 6 pack of beer.
Other things include a demonic scratch card that can kill you and finding objects with spirits in them.

Are you sure it was an FPS and not 3PS then? (if you have a very vague memory of the game )
Because yes, Messiah is an old game about possessing, but not FPS.

He travels across America by driving. The first stage is a prison in California where you shoot ghosts. I also remember Las Vegas and somewhere up in Idaho or Wyoming where the bullets were cow dung.

I'm looking for an old JRPG.
I played this game so long ago I only remember fragments but the atmosphere and style of the game has kept me thinking about it all these years. It might not actually be as great as I see it in my head right now but I'd love to play it again.

The graphics were around the same era as Final Fantasy 6. (Probably early-mid 90s).
It was an action rpg (kind of like Zelda) You had a morphing weapon; if you run attack turns into a spear and you stab. If you were standing still it was a sword.

The story starts with a cutscene where something dramatic happens in a dark castle corridor (don't remember exactly what it was) afterwards you find yourself waking up on a bed in a quaint town (here is where you choose your name and you were always a guy).

Then everyone turns into stone and you have to save them. (This is probably the most iconic memory I have of this game).

Inside dungeons/towns are very Zelda like (perspective, controls, fighting mechanics) but the way you travel is similar to Final Fantasy's where there's a pixelated map and your sprite is moving around different main locations I don't think there were any surprise encounters though.

I'd be REALLY REEALLLY surprised and happy if someone can get this!

This is a game that I'm pretty sure I played in the late 80's or early 90's. I cannot remember much about the game but I want to play it because I don't remember ever making it to the end. It was on the pc. It started out with asking if you were a man, woman, boy or girl. Then you would have to pick your living situation. After that you wandered around town and many times you would talk to people. Some were nice and some weren't and would take you into thier home and poison you. I died that way the first time I played. Most of the game was talking to people to find out things.

I am trying to find this game I played when I was younger where you were a little space ship that shot at these space objects moving in patterns. The first level was a diagonal line of green things that moved back and forth. Second level was these silver things with purple in the middle that moved in 2 circles together. Any way these things are shooting at you while moving in different patterns. I really wanna play this again. Please help

Ok so there's this game I can remember in my head from about 4-8 years ago. you were an animal of some sort, maybe a penguin, rolling around on a ball on these paths, and if you rolled of the sides you had to start over. It was in the clouds, maybe with candy or something pink themed and yeah you rolled around on a ball down the paths. This is driving me insane! Please help!

My forgotten game is an old ps2 game. It was a RPG turn based strategy game. What you did was ride on a horse fighting creatures and recruiting people for your squad like thing. When you were riding on your horse it wasn't 1st person it was super zoomed out and when you ran into an enemy it would zoom into a mini square-like battlefield. Then you would take turns moving your characters around and attacking. I think you made money by killing enemies and then spent it on buying new people for your squad. I remember you could buy archers and orcs. It was a medieval time game. That's pretty much all I remember.

The game I am trying to remember is a 2D game I played several years ago and was played online with other people. It allowed you to choose a class (ex. Shadow wizard, fire wizard, warrior and such). Things I specifically remember were monsters named 'crogs' and there was a weapon called the crog sword or crog blade you could get. I remember you could mine and make ingots along with make your own armor. I also remember there was a graveyard where you could kill things and get black cursed armor. I'd love to see if this game is still around although I doubt it.

Ok, so I have a game that i'd like to play again. Its a zombie game, where your looking down at your guy, and you throw hammers. and you can collect upgrade an powerups to throw more hammers in like 3s and stuff. You throw em at zombies. I played this game on pc about 10-11 years ago, maybe 2002.
This would be really cool if i could find it. Tried googling it already with no success. I played this game at a boys and girls club.

Also, you had a certain amount of time to find treasure. You could spend a few days to build siege weapons to take a castle, or even take a day or two to dig for treasure on the block that your main avatar was standing on.

The 2nd one was a 2d side scroller prince of persia style for dos. 20 years old maybe. It was about a kid with a baseball cap in a odd world with a lot of dinosaur skelletons. His power was a green flame he shoot out of his hands. I also remember it came on CD wich was kind of new for that time.

I remember playing a PC game that involved a silver ball on a track, not pinball though. It was a puzzle game based on Da Vinci's inventions, but all I can really remember is the ball could get covered with paint, or disintegrated if it passed through a flame. I know it's not much to go on. I played it in the mid or late 90's.
