The game I'm looking for is rather old, I guess it's about 7-12 years old and I don't remember that much about it, I played it at a friend of mine (it was on pc) and I do remember (hopefully correctly) the following things:
In some part of this game, there were some kind of orange monsters, that couldn't walk over grass and I think you were able to somehow make grass grow (or shoot it, I don't know), you saw everything from bird's eye view and I think there were many riddles in this game, but I hardly remember anything.
The health display was not like a hp bar, but similar to starcraft, where parts of the body (or was it just a brain?, not sure) turned from green to red.

Hi everyone. This is my first time on the site and im looking for an old game i used to play and can not for the life of me remember the name. I believe it was a PC helicopter game that had a high view and "cartoon-like" graphics meaning they were not trying to be realistic with the settings. You would fly over aircraft carriers, villages with vietnam-like jungles, etc with targets to blow up like houses, bases, etc. It had one or two sequels but it is not desert strike or jungle strike. It had good gameplay and if i had to say anything else about it, it ws arcade type and was most likely from 1990-2000. If anyone could help me i would love it becuse i have been looking online for about an hour now. If not can anyone tell me where i can find a list of all games that came out in a certain period because if i seen the name i would know instantly. Thanks everyone!

Does anyone out there remember a game from the 90s that was about children/teen runaways? It was either released on Mac or DOS, and at the starting menu, an excerpt of Del Shannon's "Runaway" played. You could choose your state and your gender, the latter more often or not decided what sort of "broken home" you would run away from (ie: neglectful mom vs abusive dad). This was a black & white, point and click styled game where it basically showed kids the ugly side of running away from home, such as stealing to survive, getting shot at by thugs and/or cops (one of the "deaths" in the game), working for chump change at a diner/fast food restaurant and living in a shabby motel.

Hello

i'm trying to think of this game I played in the early 90's and it was either for the playstation or sega or super nintendo it had street fighter graphics and gameplay...it might have been for playstation but I can't think properly...anyways the only two characters I can think of is this dead pharoh mummy with one of his combos being this thing where his arms stretches and goes underground and then shoots up on the other side of the screen to the enemy asnd this other character is a werewolf that I think that jumped around a lot punching and kicking and it made me think he was break dancing as a kid for some reason.

If anybody could help me that would be awesome!

I remember watching my older cousin play a game back in the day, I think it was ps1 or sega or something, and i remember him saying the back story was about a man who dropped his daughter off at school and some kind of monsters attack and he was trying to find her. All i can remember was that it was in third person, and your running around outside in the dark, and snow, breathing extremely heavy if that helps lol. sorry for the vague description, but if anyone has the slightest idea what im talking about it would really help.

Hey guys. I have been trying to find this game for YEARS! I am 28 now and I remember playing it when I was like 5. It was an NES or SNES game, 2d platformer with a scrolling screen. The ONLY thing I can remember is that the 2nd level (if I remember) was you driving a boat (like a ferry boat)it had a red propeller. The level went from left to right (like mario), and it was at night. At the end of the level I believe you fought a boss. Can anyone help me out? I cannot think of it for anything! It was a platformer.

Hello everyone,

I need help with a game. It was for PC in the early or mid 90s, I think. I watched my dad play it. It was an old point and click adventure mystery game, with some slight horror aspect to it. You and your husband had moved to a new mansion and you had to explore it. There was a monster inside somewhere lurking around.

The opening scene was the two in bed together kissing and then green clawed hand reached out and tried to grab your character, the woman. The only other thing I really remember was she could feel a passage of air coming from the fireplace, and you tried to get her to pick at it to open the door behind it and she said it would make too much of a mess.

Sorry if that's vague but that's really all I can remember from it. Any help would be welcome!

Hello, I'm trying to find this game I used to play on my old computer it's from the early 2000's (I think) it was an RTS very futuristic looking somethings I remember about it is you had like towers and everything had to be withing range but the thing I remember the most are a cool feature where you could build towers that emitted a dome (shields) and if you place them next to each other they combined. I have a very vivid image of the GUI in my mind so post any names you think and I'll look for pictures.

I can't remember the name of this game. I remember it being cartoony graphics in the vein of Ratchet & Clank. The main character sounded Scottish, sort of like Death Spank. He had two robot companions that were upgradable and had swappable weapons. They both had health bars above their head that warned you when their health was low. All three characters were very sarcastic and always reminded me of mystery science theater. The game was played in 3rd person except for random 1st person moments where you used a moving turret to knock invaders off the walls. Most often however there were combat moments with rocket launchers trying to shoot down zeppelins and other things filled with invaders. And last but not least I remember a crazy doctor character kind of reminded me of the witch doctor from Banjoe Kazooey who was I. Charge of the rag tag group. And there were cut scenes where they all four were clumsy and acting silly falling about. It was around the time of the original Xbox. 2001/2003 vacinity. I wanna say the land was like Scotland and had castles and jokes about kilts. And you saved your game by stopping off for a pint at the pub.

I'm not giving up. Here are the hints again!!!!!!

I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.

There's this game I've been trying to find, it's not oddworld but it''s kinda similar I guess. I thought that game was called "world 9" or "planet 9" or some other "planet/world [insert number here]." Anyway your either and alien or a man and it takes place in a futuristic setting, while playing through the levels there are these little green slime creatures, I don't remember if you attack them or help them, they kinda look like pikmin but they're green-slime looking creatures.I think. The setting looked similar to oddworld's.

Alright, here goes. Turn-based wizard/spellcasting dueling game. Top-down view. Sprite characters. Forest/dark tone to the graphics. You could summon monters and cast spells. Your starting space was a blue circular shield (may have decayed after a few turns, unsure about this). Dos-era (probably Win 95/98 era). Probably came on one of the game collection CDs that were all over the place at the time.

Best suggestion I've gotten so far (though incorrect) was 'Chaos: Battle of Wizards' which seems to have the right gameplay mechanic and viewpoint but is the wrong OS and much more primitive graphics. I've tried looking at every list of Chaos-related games I've been able to find but none of them have had the game I recall playing on it.

Would appreciate any help anyone has to give this has been driving me crazy for a few weeks solid now. Thanks.

It's likely Phantasmagoria.
