I got another one. It's a childrens point and click game set on a pirate island. The main villains in the game are called pirats, as in a play on words of pirate rats (they're literally rats). You solve multiple puzzles in order to collect parts for a ship and build it in the end. Don't remember if there's a final level or anything but that should be enough info if anyone knows what game it is.

Please, this is desperate, I'm being torn from the inside and need to know what the heck this game is.
So you're an alien worker of some factory or something, and are trying to escape due to the threat of being turned into "lunch" and try to warn the other workers as you do so. I believe it was a side scrolling plat former and as for anything else I just cannot remember for the life of me. Anyone?

I can't remember the name of this game for the life of me. I think it was a PC game. From what I remember it was basically point and click set in medieval fantasy times. In the beggining there was a stone that if you clicked on it your character would say "Hmm.. This step has seen many footfalls." There was also a skeleton in a well that you had to fight. Please help!

I figured it out, it was Chronicles of the Sword.

OH and one other thing, I think it was time based. After a certain amount of transitions between rooms a timer would run out and you would lose. And from the main hall room you could go right to a spiral staircase kind of tower. I think that's everything I remember now
I believe you are thinking about the game series Sam and Max, but I can't be sure.
Noooo it seemed like a really vague game. I think one of the characters was an ant with a disproportionately sized head with some kind of hat (although I may be getting that confused with a cartoon from my childhood)

Hello all,

I'm searching for a console game from the mid to late 80s. I don't even remember the console it was on.

All I remember is :

- you viewed things from above, and you had a character and that you were to move through a sort of maze (think pacman)
- there were some enemies (including spiders) you could defeat with some special items, like a gun you could pick up
- when you had beaten all enemies, the boss would come into the level. This boss could be an invisible spider. It could also be shot but you had to guess in which direction and where to shoot (based on what ? I don't remember...)

I also remember that with the games on this console came some sort of a flexible plastic card with an illustration of the game. The illustration on said game showed a very pixellated spider (like, 32 big pixels in the form of a spider) on a dark background.

Does anyone have any clue of what game and/or console that could be ?

Thanks a lot.

I made an account just for this thread.

Ive been wracking my brain for years trying to figure out the name of this damn video game that I used to play. I believe it was on the NES. I used to own the game but I sold it and the NES (cant be sega as I still own that and all my games for it) to Funcoland back in the day (now Gamestop).

Anyway, you start off the game as this dude i think you used to wield a sword but im not entirely sure. The very first bad guy you encounter in the castle as you begin the game is this giant floating eye which I believe is green. Then the rest of it is somewhat of a blur. I can only remember bits and pieces of the game as I could not get very far. I think the first boss is just outside of the castle. I dont think it was any sort of castlevania game but I could be wrong. I almost wanna say the first boss you encounter shortly after you start the game is some sort of Knight or strange reptile. Again not 100% sure on this.

I know this really isnt much to go on but if anyone has any idea of what it could be could you please post? lol. Ive been racking my brain for years and i just cant remember the name of the game.

Apologies for being so vague when describing the game.

Thanks for any and all help.
Still lookin for help :)

This previous beat'em up game might be "River City Ransom"

I also am looking for a game, that I can not remember the title for the life of me!

I played it at an internet cafe' sometime in the last 3 years. It might be older than that, I think it's from 2006 or 2008. It's a RTS like Command and conquer generals, but instead of resource gathering, you just wait for these large cargo planes to drop tanks at an airstrip. You can put commandos inside the vehicles, and you start off as an air strip, as you try to take over the map and control other air strips so more tanks, troops and supplies can land. All your ground forces and supplies must be para-dropped by cargo planes and other air units, although it is a ground based combat game.

Any idea what this RTS game for PC might be? It's killing me!
May it be Ground Control?
WOW MAN, GREAT, that's years, i was searching for this game for a year, SRSLY, thx!!

I'm fairly certain this game was either on the N64 or PS1. It was an open world-ish game where you drive around in a car. I recall it had a car-soccer minigame.

HI! I've been trying to remember the name of this game I played when I was little at school, but for the life of me, I can't. The PC game may or may not have been made in the late 90s, but that was when I played it. There wasn't a whole lot to the game, it's almost like a crappy version of The Sims. In the game, the house is cut in half (maybe more like the wall taken out) and they're are three or four stories to it, but you can see them all, so the screen stays the same the entire time. You can sleep, eat, watch TV, take a shower, etc. One thing that I remember most about this game was when he ate, he made this really tall sandwich. As far as I remember, there is only one character and it's a male. He may of been able to get visitors, but I'm not entirely sure. Another thing I'm not entirely sure about is if you had to beat the game or not. I think you may have had to figure out how to escape from the house. I'm pretty sure the game usually ended with him leaving through the attic window. I'm sorry lol. I wish I could be more helpful with describing this, but I was only at the school I played this game at from kindergarten to second grade(I actually got held back in second grade, so I was in second grade twice there). I'm lucky I remember what I do lol.

I hope someone has any idea of what this is. It's been driving me crazy for years. Kids in my class loved this game. There would sometimes be fights over who would get to play the computer with this game on it when we went to the computer room.

I have a game I thought I knew, but now I'm not so sure. It was a tank game extremely similar to Tank Wars, but much simpler. Was 2 player only, had only 4 or 5 weapons to choose from, and was a very simple dos based game without menus or mouse control. aiming and power levels was done using the space bar by timing an onscreen rotating dial and a power bar that would pulse. I remember there was some kind of "fire" weapon that you could hit space while the projectile was in the air and it would do a lot of damage... I thought it may have been called lob or something like that, but can't find it. It may have been more of a shareware type of game.

Actually now I'm 99% sure it was called lob. I found an old list of bat files I used to use to launch games, and there definately was one called lob in there. Weird I can't find anything on the net about it though...

Solved: The game is called War-8}!

Hello all, I'm looking for an RTS game for pc, not that much I remember from it. You controlled a base, sometimes on the map a Turkish(Osman) base appearad from nothing and attacked you. Also there was a wood nearby where was a mage who didn't allowed you to build on his land even with alliance. You had to look for some relics as I remember. There was a hidden pass on the map that you had to look for. The game always sent you a message: "Taxes gathered, payments recevied" Thanks, sry for it, it will be hard to find out:D

Hello guys :)

I'm looking for a game which is controlled bird view, i think it was Playstation 1 or pc.

You have a base where you can build robots, you could choose the legs and the body the weapon, stuff like that.
You had to destroy the other robots, maps were mostly pretty small.

Hey guys
I'm actually looking for more games. Shockwave on PC years ago like 7-10 years ago.
The company's name starts with an S I forgot the rest. It's like miniclip games.. I'll just describe one and see if anyone remembers those.

You are a woman on a ship that has been attacked by indians or w/e island inhabitants. The captain of the ship is dead the doctor has been poisoned by one of the arrows and a drunk guy is somewhere in the back of the ship. You start by getting a rope and a wooden board to use as a shield from arrows as you pass from the front of the ship to the other side of it. You will need to get something from the captain (can't remember what) you'll make an antidote with the bottle the drunk man has and something else you get from somewhere on the ship. The goal is to get you and the doctor out of the ship using a boat but the machine that lowers the boat in the water is broken so you also have to fix that...

And they had more games alike. All this kind of puzzle/escape games. Ones that test your brain so to speak.. And can't actually find any of them for years.

I remember the logo of the firm being a yellow S in a triangle colored dark but I could be wrong.

If anyone knows about them reply please.
