Hi folks.

Looking for a Playstation 1 game I played in 1999/2000. It was an RPG (maybe J?) and I think the main character's village was destroyed by a meteor/something falling from the sky at the beginning of the game. You collected crystals/gems something like that. Pretty sure there was a robot, who goes away and comes back at an important time. Wish I had more to go on.

I think I remember this being a PC game. First person shooter story mode on a spaceship that was deserted except baddies, you had to reach the bridge, I think it was a sequel. The ship's computer itself was the enemy? Pre Bioshock?

[EDIT] Derp! Found it: System Shock 2, after a brief search.

Probably Ninja: Shadow Of Darkness ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMrdg6Uhto8&t=4m12s )

Came out around the same time as TR2 and was also published by Eidos.

Come on.. No one knows what I'm talking about :(
I've been posting for weeks the same stuff here...

Hey guys
I'm actually looking for more games. Shockwave on PC years ago like 5-7 years ago.

You are a woman on a ship that has been attacked by indians or w/e island inhabitants. The captain of the ship is dead the doctor has been poisoned by one of the arrows and a drunk guy is somewhere in the back of the ship. You start by getting a rope and a wooden board to use as a shield from arrows as you pass from the front of the ship to the other side of it. You will need to get something from the captain (can't remember what) you'll make an antidote with the bottle the drunk man has and something else you get from somewhere on the ship. The goal is to get you and the doctor out of the ship using a boat but the machine that lowers the boat in the water is broken so you also have to fix that...

And they had more games alike. All this kind of puzzle/escape games. Ones that test your brain so to speak.. And can't actually find any of them for years.
(in a lab where a monster escaped and you use light to banish him, it attacked the doctors and you take items from them and so on; on a mountain where you climb it, ride a snowmobil and avoid rocks and enemies...)

I remember the logo of the firm being a yellow S in a triangle colored dark but I could be wrong.

Was it 2D / 3D?

If you played the North America version of Final Fantasy Anthology, it consists of Final Fantasy 5, and the plot in FF5 is basically that. Could that be it?

Hi everyone,
4)This is one of the full games I owned that I cant remember: It's cute little doggies and animals that transform into mechanical fighting machines. You travel through sewers to get to different fighting scenes and the ultimate goal is to destroy the mad scientist?
Battle Beast? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlZDuxrPy48
Many thanks!!

Can anyone help me find an old action/platformer SNES game I played in the mid-90s?

I remember you played like a jungle kid or something but it wasn't set in the jungle. I think you were trying to return home or so. He might have had pink hair. You could roll and jump far, perhaps fly for a bit? Very colorful graphics and the stage would scroll to the right. I think I remember a lava stage too. I remember being on top of a mountain kind of thing in one stage. I also remember a Sonic the Hedgehog kind of loop-de-loop. It was really, really fun but I never saw it in a store or magazine. I borrowed from my friend for a short time. I can't remember the name for the life of me.

Any help?

Hmm sounds a bit like Tomba, but it's for PS1 ( http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-phs6SXVSbDc/T0b4IArsdeI/AAAAAAAAAg4/9FUbxdvXiXo/s1600/Tomba03.jpg )
I think Tomba was another game I was trying to remember 'cause I had that PlayStation Interactive Sampler Vol. 7 years ago from the magazine. But that's not it. Thank you, though.

Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck?
Nope, but thanks. The hero of the game had cool hair, I remember that vividly. Chuck Rock has some catchy music though, huh?

I'm looking for an old PC game (usually found in that CD w/ 15~20 demo games).
The game is like this: Is a 3D game that you have a Floating Piece of Land (Usually flat i think). You can put in structures in that piece (With consumes hexagon slots) like Walls, Catapults, Propulsion Engines to make you floating island moves, etc.
The objetive is to destroy others floating islands.
Anyone remember the name? It's kinda old game.
Thanks!
Sounds like Stratosphere: Conquest of the Skies

YES MAN, THAT'S WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

If i understood that description right, it sounds like one of the countless Qix clones, such as Volfied ( http://eager.back2roots.org/SSHOT/V/volfied.png )

All i can remember was:
it was a browser game
i think it was an rpg
and i can remember going down in some dungeons and every time i went further down the harder the mobs got.
and it was 3D.
The game developers had also made a tank game and a game where you could go on the moon or something like that
Can anyone plzz help me finding the name of the game?

I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.

This is driving me crazy, I remember playing a kids dinosaur game where you have to collect like three eggs or something. There was an underground segment with a puzzle game similar to the original Bioshock hacking minigame, and another region where you have to run from something and jump over obstacles and stuff which I never really liked. I believe I played it on the PC. Again, it was totally a kids game so nothing violent or excessively difficult. I think there were a few different areas- Jurassic, Cretaceous, etc. Could be wrong about that though, I just remember seeing Cretaceous somewhere. Oh, and there was definitely a volcano involved somehow.

Thanks for any help!

Edit: Just found a picture of it on Google, took me an hour but it was Dinosaur Adventure 3D.

Ok, that's just incredible but while I was writing this thing I came out with a simple google search that allowed me to find the game in question. Therefore, this is now a quiz for you rather than a quest for help. Here's what I wrote before receiving the enlightening:

_____________
Hi there everyone, mine could be kinda hard because what i'm looking for is an arcade 1vs1 fighting game I used to play around '95-'98 or so.

What I remember is:

- every character had another "slightly different" version (not the usual second costume, but a different character!)
- two of the characters were (or at least I thought) ruthless cyborgs, sorta reminding me of a Frankenstein, in long trench coats
- there was some kind of eye poke attack!! and that really shocked me
- MAYBE there was a sort of 2vs2 - likely to be one round with each character

as for the rest, I was kinda scared of this game!! If you manage to get this, well, congrats. All my google searches (and I'm not bad with that) went absolutely void

***and here I gave another try, since I was pretty scared of being boastful with this "not bad with that". Well, I was.

Anyone knows what game I'm talking about? ;)

Please, can someone help me? I am looking for an old (windows) computer 2D game. I remember that I played it about 10 years ago on an older computer. Its a game with simple graphics.
You controlled a guy who moves (pushes up, down, left, right)crates/blocks to trap enemies -i remember red balls - make them unable to move because of crates around them. These enemies could kill/eat him.
It was very addictive for me :)
