Hey guys!
I'm kinda desperate in search of an old game I was playing some years back. It was a strategy, adventure like game. You had your civilization with a king and in the demo I remember you played with a civilization that looked like vikings. There was also a civilization that looked like chinese and one like japanese, I think. Your king trained the troops whenever they were posted in the castle and you could also buy mercs with higher levels or send a spy to a different civ to either recruit troops from your enemy och cause a rebellion or decrease the enemy troops morale.
It kinda reminded of warcraft but with a different style.
Can anyone help?
I would love to play it again!

Ok I have been googling for over 2 days now trying to find this game. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

First it was an arcade game. I'm 99% sure it NEVER got ported over to any gaming system.
Second it was a side scroller, you controlled one character that I think was some kind of wizard.

You were able to throw out fireballs that I think you could upgrade over time.

I also believe there was some sort of a store system where you could buy additional items.

NO friggin idea about anything else....for some reason I also want to say there was a magic cape involved but I could be wrong.

Any ideas?

Alright... for about three years now I've been tracking down games and movies from my very, very early childhood years. I've successfully used my completely-terrible memory to find every single one.. excluding one, which has eluded me for the last year now. No matter what I search or where I go, I cannot find any information about it.

I believe it was on the PC, early 2000's or late 90's, I believe.
It was about a castle, except you build it. Slowly. I think the main focus was to continually amass more and more villagers as time went on, and you could assign them to different jobs, such as builder to make your castle grow faster, or fighter, to stand a better chance at the static-image monsters that would occasionally threaten your kingdom.
I believe that after you reached a certain amount of villagers, you were prompted to use a spell or potion of some description to teleport to another more difficult area, and if you put off doing that for too long, the gods would punish you (?)

I remember being able to choose different rulers at the start, which earned different bonuses, such as the Wizard being able to use potions more often, or the prince having more daily gold income.

On the potions, there was a shop you could access at any time, which had potions that would, say, turn Rats into Men to increase your population quickly at the cost of mana or some other resource. There were different tiers for these potions, and I remember that there were also other items or accessories in the shop.

Please... even if you aren't entirely sure about the game, at least give me a few pointers, or an idea, or even a game similar to this one -- I'm literally losing sleep off this because of how determined I am to find it. Thank you.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a PC game that had 3 factions based on a tiled map. You battled to take control of control points with a group of units you commanded with other people who had their own units and the units were very starcraft-esque. For example, on faction had tanks, artillery etc and another faction MAY have been zerg-like but I'm not entirely sure...

It was quite futuristic and sci-fi but had poor graphics but great gameplay.

If anyone could help, that would be great THANK YOU!

EDIT: The game was early 2000s I think and there was a system where you could vote for a leader (real player) for your faction regularly. I'm not sure about this but you could also pay to upgrade your units/having to replace or repair them? You could definitely level them up with the fighting I think. It was in third person, angled-down view, similar to Starcarft. Graphics actually quite similar to Starcraft.

Edit 2: Some more information is that it was FREE TO PLAY and you didn't have to build building for units, the units entered strait into battle with you (and units came in groups of like 8 or 10, not individually. There were also no heroes.

Heya all

I'm so glad I found out this forum as I wish to find 4 games that I desperatly want to play again, but my search was and still is for nothing...10 years now I am trying and seeing that you guys are good at this, I will give it a shot;

1st game;
I have no idea what the game is called, I am almost certain I have played it around the years 1994 - 1999. And back then I only played the demo of it (got it from a magazine CD called PC gamer or Softwarepower). Its a RTS space-like game, it is for PC and that is all mostly I can remember from it...I can almost certanly write that you were playing the human race, though I can't recall if there were more races or only human...I do remember some tall buildings you build for your base and the game is VERY underground its really imposible to find as it never was famous...but I know I enjoyed it ALOT, even if only the demo of the game...I don't even know if the complete version came out or they just canceled it
and its not starcraft, dark colony, dark reign...and the graphic wasn't too similar to any of these...so it's really hard to explain :/

2nd game;
I am almost 70% certain the game was called something like "Goliath"(though if you google that word and add PC game you still don't get anything that is close to this game :/)...it is a weird genre to describe...RTS with 1st or 3rd person view (can't remember exactly), something similar like battlezone or uprising. I played the demo only and there was only 1 map...it was a winter map with a cool music in the back (imagine jingle bells and christmas music mixed with RTS battle music :) )
You had your base (1 building only), same as the enemy...you build tanks(and I think there were only tanks that you could build) from that base and I am not 100% for this part, but you coudn't control them, they were moving to the enemy base by themselfs
money income was coming over time
and then you had a special tank named goliath (guessing the name here again...) which was very expensive to build and you could take control of him as in 1st person/3rd person view and wreck havoc with it hehe :)
game was around the years 1992 - 1999

3rd game;
This game was on a console (can't remember which...and I know that sucks alot :s...maybe Snes or nes???)
I know I played it on the television and I know it was for me and many other neighbours a revolution game...why?
Ok, the view was nothing new(2d scroller, something like raptor, tyrian etc)...and the graphics are quite poor (I believe the background of the first level is green)
you have your own spaceship (which looks like a alienship (the disc)) with a rotating 'something' (it looked like a radar) on the top...offcourse you could drive it around and shoot with it...but it was quite slow moving
you started at the bottom of the screen and the enemies were coming from the top
nothing new so far, a milion games could be with that description but here is the unique and REALLY fun feature (at least for those times :p) :
you could call your own army to go from the bottom of the screen to the top and watch them combat each other. You had at least 3 or 4 types of units (and I can't remember where did you get resources from to create them)
the music in this game was 100% this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRU1AJsXN1g but a little bit less classic mixed to suit the space feeling

4th game;
again a console game (again Snes or nes...not sure :S ) and its a little newer then the 3rd game. Its a fighting style(many vs many) game and they were all little people (the game is VERY similar to little fighter 2: http://lf2.net/ ). I had much fun from the game and alot of comedy, but I did not understand ANYTHING as everything was written in asian letters (I bet it was japanese)

This is the information I could recall right now on top from the head for all games and I really hope I could find at least 1 of em as I am frustrated as **** searching 10 years for them

If I will recall any more information of them I will write them here...if you find any of these games I pledge to you my life, sir.

now,
sorry for the long post,
sorry for me "engrish"
and sorry that there is ALOT of "maybe" in the post as I can't say anything for certaing because its a long time since I played them :S

Thanks in advance

Hello, fellow escapists! I am searching for a long lost old DOS game, where you control a boy on a 2D plane, shooting snake-like lines straight up, to pop circular baloons of various sizes and colors, using regular lines, and line powerups. I know for a FACT, that IS IS NOT BUBBLE BOBBLE, so don't even bother to say it! Thanks in advance, everyone!

I am trying to find a cool game I played the living shat out of when I was a kid. All I remember is I played it on xp (don't know if it was made on xp) and it was a 2d racing game. I played it around very early 2000s when I was pretty young, and all I can remember about the game play was that there were stages of the arctic, a volcano, and maybe dinosaurs. You could customize your cars, and there were many cutscenes. The box had a pimp boy with sunglasses chilling in his car which he shouldn't be driving. Don't know how popular it is, and I just wanted to somehow play it again for the nostalgic feels.

Update:
It was a PC Game for Windows. I think it had to be from the late 90's or in the early 2000's.
A strategy/adventure game that is kinda like the old Warcraft games. The Viking civ was blue and they carried axes, the Chinese civ was yellow and the troops carried spears, can't remember any of the other civs. I think you could train your troops up till level 100 and the king started at level 100. As I previously posted, the troops had to be posted in the castle with the king in order to be trained to achieve higher levels. You could appoint generals or commanders to set up new castles and train troops of their own.
That's pretty much ALL I can remember about the game.
ANY input or help would be greatly appreciated. I'm kinda desperate at this point :)
Thanks in advance! :)

I have one that is driving me crazy. It is a PC game from many many years ago. it is a RPG game where you play as a creatable character that if i remember correctly is a prisoner that is charged with saving a princess that was kidnapped by a troll or ogre and taken to an underground dungeon. I remember that you could create spells with runes and had to manage your inventory and scrounge for weapons, armor, and food. If it helps i remember that the game came out around the same time that the wing commander for PC back in the 90's

My sister and I used to play this computer game back in the late 90's and early 2000's, and we've been trying to find/remember it's name for years now. It was a point and click game in which you played as a guy dressed like robin hood, and you had to look around for keys (or something else) and once you had it/them, you could climb up to the next level, but while collecting the item(s), you had to be on the lookout for some type of creature type thing. Once you had all the items on each level, I think there were like 3 or 4 levels, you could climb up to the king's castle and try to steal his treasure from the window outside his throne room. If you did it at the wrong time, however, he'd catch you and you'd have to start all over again. If one of you knows anything, please tell me because it has been irking my sister and me for too long now. I may be completely off with some of the information, but I hope at least one person knows.

I Played a game in the early 90's that was an adventure game. It started off with a boy in a village and then a fog came and sweep through the village. It turned most of the people bad. Then you had to go through out the world finding various things. It felt like it took me about 6 months to beat the game only to find out I only finished the North side and had to go to another map. That is when I stopped playing. I would like to start playing again and beat the whole game. Please help out
