Been having trouble finding this one even after searching through lists of "all" games from the 90's.

This is a mac/pc game(not sure if it was available for both) that was an educational dinosaur game. It started with getting inside this raptor robot that allowed you to travel around and collect bones and talk with scientists. The scientists were real people so the clips were actual video mixed in with the graphics. You spent the whole time I think with a control panel to travel to different locations.

It was all a bunch of puzzles. You would travel to the desert and have to use dynamite, shovels and then trowels and smaller instruments in the right order with certain sediments and rock layers to get to the fossils. There was a geologist who would help you with this and teach you about different types of rocks. Then you would take the fossil to the lab and another scientist would give you tools to clean up the fossils. Then you would have to put together the skeleton like one of those sliding block puzzles.

Please help me find this game! I never got to finish it, and I can't find it anywhere. All the dinosaur games I've seen, or had suggested to me are missing that the game I used to play had video clips of real people/scientists who would help you solve the puzzle. And I can't remember the name of the raptor/robot you were inside of.

EDIT: It is not 3-D Dinosaur Adventure.

Signed up hoping to find this as it's my last hope :D This may be vague , but the game I'm looking for is a ps1 game , I'm fairly sure it was by a Japanese developer although I could be mistaken . The game was an arena game where multiple characters competed against each other . The particular level I'm thinking of was a desert level where there were tribal looking statues , huge rocky creatures and sand tornadoes that would catch you and send you flying up , characters made loud kaw noises whenever they got hurt haha. The game was quite challenging and between levels you were in a white room, I think when you won , you got crystals but I may be confusing it with another game. Art style was very polygony more so than regular ps1 games. A million thanks to whoever helps me find this.

Hi folks.

Looking for a Playstation 1 game I played in 1999/2000. It was an RPG (maybe J?) and I think the main character's village was destroyed by a meteor/something falling from the sky at the beginning of the game. You collected crystals/gems something like that. Pretty sure there was a robot, who goes away and comes back at an important time. Wish I had more to go on.
Was it 2D / 3D?

If you played the North America version of Final Fantasy Anthology, it consists of Final Fantasy 5, and the plot in FF5 is basically that. Could that be it?
Thanks for the reply. I'm fairly certain it's not a FF game, although reading the description of FF5, they sound very similar. I want to say it was 2D, but honestly it's been long enough that I can't be sure.

Come on.. No one knows what I'm talking about :(
I've been posting for weeks the same stuff here...

Hey guys
I'm actually looking for more games. Shockwave on PC years ago like 5-7 years ago.

You are a woman on a ship that has been attacked by indians or w/e island inhabitants. The captain of the ship is dead the doctor has been poisoned by one of the arrows and a drunk guy is somewhere in the back of the ship. You start by getting a rope and a wooden board to use as a shield from arrows as you pass from the front of the ship to the other side of it. You will need to get something from the captain (can't remember what) you'll make an antidote with the bottle the drunk man has and something else you get from somewhere on the ship. The goal is to get you and the doctor out of the ship using a boat but the machine that lowers the boat in the water is broken so you also have to fix that...

And they had more games alike. All this kind of puzzle/escape games. Ones that test your brain so to speak.. And can't actually find any of them for years.
(in a lab where a monster escaped and you use light to banish him, it attacked the doctors and you take items from them and so on; on a mountain where you climb it, ride a snowmobil and avoid rocks and enemies...)

I remember the logo of the firm being a yellow S in a triangle colored dark but I could be wrong.
Is it Steppenwolf: Mokele Mbembe? The description mathces to the first episode, the developer is Sarbakan

YES THANK YOU!
God finally... I've been looking for them for YEARS~~
thank you.. I'd kiss you now lol ^^

Ok, this is going to be a hard one for sure:

All I remember is that it is an old PC platform game. It was not in a windows game, but before even that. You had to look for it in a directory in the computer itself (???) It was set in space. The bad guys were green alien like. Sometimes there were pyramid like moments where you had to pick something from the top of the pyramid. There was something that was optional to pick and it was always hidden in strange places. One of the times was like a vertical wall that seemed impossible to go up but you could if you jumped and instantly go right.
There might be spikes as well.

The whole game was very cartoon like, I remember it being especially blue.

EDIT: OMG, I found it!! It was Commander Keen :) :) :)

The Game I'm looking for is a Q-Bert game released on the PS1/PS2 Can't remember which one, but it had a story mode or something like that, and their were unique maps, like where you did the normal thing then had to use a teleporter like thing to go finish the other half of the map, I remember playing it and having it on PS1/PS2 and I would appreciate it if I got some help.

Hello, I have been looking for this game for years now!! It was from the late 90s early 00s PC games. I'm pretty sure it was from a disc and was a game within a few different games.

This particular game was a lawn mower. You had to dodge obstacles such as graves or flowers and collect fuel to keep going! Doesn't sound like much fun but it was! If anyone could help me it would much appreciated!

looking for this game i once played

played on PC

it was animated graphics
you played as female sort of treasure hunter who has 2 daggers or something similar to kill monsters

in one of treasure hunts you find crystal ball which is guarded by wolf looking character called Light, after you defeat The Light you touch the ball and you get some dark powers which show up on your skin as dark purple lines and eyes turn purple as well

there's also another wolf called Dark who protects that no one gets their hand on The Light crystal ball

later you get the Light powers which show as yellow lines on the skin

and basically you just slash through monsters to proceed, you can't proceed to next area before you have killed enough number of monsters that just keep spawning in the area

opening cinematic if i remember was some shadowy looking character going to some shop where some old guy is who after the visit gives you the treasure map leading to Light/Dark island. but might be wrong with this one

anyone knows what game it is?

One game, i've been trying to find for a while now. It Pc, i dont know if its dos or not. It may be some form of playformer adventure game and a point and click. But i think the plot is that the opening scene is in space and two aliens in a space prison (which is travelling through space) some mist thing flies in and breaks it open the two aliens escape and cause havok on a planet. A hero guy is summoned to a science/biology lab which also has a habitat thing in it which you later on use to get a toad to mutate and fight this monster in a forest boxing ring or something. there was also a castle which the alien (green blob thing) was hiding in and you have to get there. dont remember much of it but it definitely exists

Hi,

I'm looking for 2 games of which I can't remember their names. I played them both on the PC, I think around 2000 but not sure about that.

Game #1:
This was some sort of racing game with about 6-8 players. I remember being able to choose a paintjob for your car which consisted a black background and covered in white eyes (I used to call it the eye-car). There was this map where you could get on some sort of elevator as shortcut and the end of the course was a chickenbarn with a huge saw in it. No weapons were involved and I remember one of the racers was called 'Has-Been'. I think you also had a nitro boost but I'm not sure about that..
You could choose from 2 types of cars. 1 was a sort of broad and low one and the other.. yeah 'slimmer'..

Game #2:
This was a simple fighting game. You could play against the computer or with a friend. You would have a square stage and you lost the round when you got thrown off. I remember you would be able to jump quite high. There was also some special move where the fighter would make a strong sweeping kick and it would make some sort of 'swoosh' sound. It was a really simple game..

I really hope you can help me!

I'm probably the only person who knows this game even exhists and for the live of me I can't remember what it was called at ALL! I've been scouring the internet for years but I guess I don't have enough inormation on it... Which is funny because I remember many little details about it... It was like a point and click game for kids, maybe... I remember being like seven, maybe eight years old and playing this on the computer.

There were like four or five anthro characters, one was a sheep in an orange jumpsuit or something and if you look at his info or whatever you can spin him around and behind his back he's holding a sign that says woo woo. There was also like a flashback maybe where he was in school and was wearing a dunce cap I think...

There's a teddy bear somewhere that if you click on it it says "can I have a glass of wa wa?"

I remember this really cool music video about a forest at night and the rain was killing them or something.

There was this one video that was just a couple of raisins (or were they prunes?) that kept saying "what do you want to do today?" "I dunno, what do you want to do today?" I dunno, what do you want to do today?" over and over and if you watched them long enough they roll down a huge hill in a tire.

There was a dog in a living room or something and if you click on it, it pees on the carpet and if you kept clicking on it the puddle gets bigger and bigger until it all disappears.

There was a book you could click on and it was about a boat that set sail, and each page said it kept sailing, and sailing, and sailing.

There was something about this contraption and crystals, and all the characters got zapped into this huge white field and you had to figure out which crystal powered the machine or something.

So any info helps immensely! It's driving me crazy!

Dear all.
I have been desperately searching for a video game. It is a top down view game in which you race cars and 4x4's (I remember you can choose which class to race). It is similar to Autocross, SuperCars and Performa cars, but is neither of those. The game was probably from end 1990's, but possibly a bit earlier.

Things I specifically remember:
- you raced 'real' cars. I remember a grey Volvo and a BMW. Also included: Jeeps and other 4x4's. In total around 12 or 16 different cars i guess.
- not a cartoon game but fairly realistic graphics (and the 'real life' cars as well)
- top down view: camera followed the car during the race.
- was a PC game. Year not sure, but probably late 90's
- I remember some tracks. One was when you passed a church, you heard "Hallelujah".
- the tracks were themed. One was in the snow, another styled like the Mediterranean
- Most vivid memory: the car took damage and started smoking if damage was more serious. If your car was totaled, the voice over said "CRASH AAAAAND BURN"

Please help me find this game because I have gotten very nostalgic about finding it as a childhood memory!! I have searched the net with all the above info, but to no avail. All tips appreciated!
