Hey everyone! :)

For years, it's been plagued me deep in dark corner of my head. I just cannot figure out the game's name nor I could find anything online, no matter what and how much effort I put it in the search engine, wiki, images, and videos.

The game I remember was on PC game (probably Sierra game but then, it may not be) and it was early 90s (I think). The game was about you driving in space combat vehicle and fight against aliens invasion. The game had part one and two (sequel). I clearly remember you were driving space combat vehicle and everything around were made of polygons. You would have to shoot the aliens down until you moved into the next level.

The "cinema" was made of cool pixel art (in introduction and ending, pretty much same pixel arts as "Rise of the Dragon"). The villain was a blue skin alien (with black hair, I think) who was insist on invade the Earth. In the second game, he was coming back for the revenge after you beat him in the first game. I clearly remember in the second game when you lost the game, you would see the blue alien man say something like "Now I can invade Earth and no one will be able to stop me!" Then he would smile evilly with wide open eyes and there were space vehicles flying in the background then you would get "Game Over."

Can anyone help me out here? It was definitely on PC only during early 90s.

EDIT: I went as far to draw what I remember when I lost the second game before you see "Game Over." You'll have to excuse my artwork. :p

EDIT: OMG, I'VE FINALLY FOUND IT!!! FINALLY!!! I was surfing the pictures when I suddenly saw company "Dynamix," which I've completely forgotten that it worked under Sierra company. The same company that made "Rise of the Dragon" that I mentioned earlier.

The game I've been looking for is... *drum rolls*

Stellar 7
-and-
Nova 9: Return of Gir Draxon! <---- This is the one with that artwork I drew. :D

That's a load of burden off my shoulder now, lol.

It had SNES type graphics. It is a (futuristic?) war game viewed top-down where you build units, missile silos and other buildings. You would then launch attacks & defend from the enemy on who is on the other side of the map.
I believe the view was isometric. I can't remember if it was turn-based or not or had fog-of-war.
That sounds exactly like Metal Marines.
OMG yes yes yes yes!!

I know it's an old reply and you may never see it but I just love you for that!

What an amazing forum thread this is :D

Hello! I have a really hard one here...

It´s an old PC game, probably one of those one guy made games, or very small company, anyway I got it from internet.

The game had similar 2D top down view and grafics as the image below, was on windowed mode (very small window) like image below. And it was, colored, pixelated, and MEDIEVAL RPG type.
So you start the game at the bottom (dungeon) of a castle, where you are a soldier or something like that, and your progress is to move up the floors of the castle one by one, and to do that you have to fight enemies that block your way, all enemies are static and dont move, you only fight them if you step (enter) their square. As I can remember, you only have like attack and defence atributes, and hit points, so combat is VERY simple, for example if I have (ATK 10, DEF 10) and the enemy has (ATK 8, DEF 5) when I enter his square, I´ll beat him 5, then he will beat me 2, then i hit 5, then he hits 2, and forever on untill someone dies. You fight against skeletons, monsters, dragons, etc.. You find items like potions, keys, ATK boost, armor, etc.. The thing that I like on this game is the strategic choices you have to make, should i attack this skeleton to get the item behind him or leave it be? two locked cells with items and only one key, so you have to decide between more ATK or more DEF, things like that. It is a very hard game! The castle has like 8 floors and i only made it to the 4th or so..

I really want to play this game again, but its not a well know game, so im having a REALLY hard time trying to find it. I even looked the whole Top down section of Abandonia.com . I hope some one here have played this game before, and help me!

Good night!!

PS: I can give more details if needed :)

Hey, I've been going mad trying to think of this game for a while now. It was a 3D third person pc game i only had the demo from a Pc Gamer Magazine, I can remember the graphics being quite good and looked quite realistic at the time. You wake up in a Dungeon/Cell and you're a Knight (or i think there were other characters like a dwarf) when you leave the cell you walk round a corner and there were little goblins/creatures sat around a camp fire. I know you had to walk around picking up pieces of cheese and ham for health. I'm afraid this is all me and my brother can remember :( i hope this sounds familiar to someone but it seems like a bit of a long shot. But thanks all the same :)
Could it be Crusaders of Might and Magic?

I remember playing a game years agor, but I have few memories and I'm not sure if that is REALLY a fox, but I think that I remember it was a orange fox, with a sword, and also in a village. Seems to me a RPG and something like open world, but I am uncertain. I'm almost sure it's from PS1, but maybe PS2 too... Really looking by this game, appreciate if someone could help me here...

Hey guys, I've been looking for a game couple weeks now and it's driving me crazy. So I used to play this game on my pc around 5 years ago, you had a dwarf I think as a character, or you could choose among many I don't remember that good. At first you'd walk in a dungeon, (cave or castle) and the enemies were gremlins or orcs or sth like that. It was dark in the game the whole time. After the dungeons you'd exit from another door and most of the times you'd arrive in some town and if i recall correctly there were npcs that'd sell you weapons like axes and stuffs, health pots and other things. I also remember in one of the dungeons there was a golden horn. I remember a church with a graveyard in front, but don't quote me on that. I also remember a town where in one of the houses, once you entered you'd have to face a boss that could cast spells.

I really hope that makes sense to someone and finds out what game i'm talking about, thanks!

Trying to remember this game I use to play at least 10 years ago for pc. it was like a virtual pet game (not tamagatchi) except it was little monsters. there were all different types. the graphics were very poor, like the forest was just a big green screen with the paths laid out. you had to go around beating monsters to level up and there were monsters that were like purple blobs and also little ghosts things, I really don't remember much about it but been trying to figure it out for like 4 months now. It was all keyboard based.

I use to play a game where you were a ninja and you could walk around and go through a door to fight people. As you won they got harder. You could retrieve pots or something from a guy and deliver them to another guy who would pay you for them. You could save the game by talking to and old man. This is a really old PC game.

Ok guys, i need your help.

I played this game on Win 95-98, i think. I was playing it toghether with Jazz Jackrabbit so it should be about 1994-1998.

It was a puzzle game.

The UI was clean: dark, space-like screen with the userbars on (if i recall correctly) on the upper and left sides.

From the bars you could pick some pipes, which you could place on the main window. Those pipes, which looked like metal, could be rotated with a click. The pipes were T-shaped, C-shaped, U-shaped, X-shaped and so on.

You could add also gravity-wells or repulsors.

The game was all about making this little white ball go from point A to point B, overcoming obstacles, or doing it with a limited number of "moves". The ball would fall accordingly to gravity (or no-gravity if the scenario was so) and through the various pipes. There was a "trajectory displayer" that by little white dots underlined the ball's trajectory so you could adjust the position of the pipes or bouncers after every try.

I'm recalling something like Orbit or Gravity or Spaceball or Spacepinball or something with "Marble" but the title may also be very different.

I've tried for a few months with this game but no list has come handy.
Maybe between you guys there's someone who can remember this game!

I'm probably way off, but the first thing that came to mind was Phantom Fighter (but it's for the NES, you walk around a town and enter doors, to fight people. ) ( http://www.gamefabrique.com/storage/screenshots/nes/phantom-fighter-05.png )

Hello everyone.

I joined this site just to post this! I am frustrated!

When I was younger I remember playing a PC game I bought from a bargain bin at my local store in the UK around the late nineties.

The game started with you waking up on a beach with no memory. You are a blond guy wearing rags. You then make your way to a small encampment where upon you can buy armour and such. I believe there was a shaman there who saw you as the chosen one. You then had to do quests and try and find out who you are.

I also remember a mission where you had to kill a witch who was guarding a tower, she was hard!!!

Also at the end it turns out your a dude from the future and it turns out some guy sent you there through some kind of portal. I also remember annoyingly the game would crash on the last level but I'm sure that was just our copy.

Some key points:

The gameplay was similar to Diablo 2

My brother remembers Obsidian armour being a key thing

I would be so grateful is someone could help me with this. I have finally found a question google cant help with!!
