Hi guys. I want to find one game. It was a 2d medieval style game. You had 3 archers on their towers. You aimed with mouse and shot people who tried to destroy your towers. I remember it was quite brutal and hard game.

There was this one PC game a long time ago where you had to condition robots how to walk by placing markers that gave the robots "points" until one of them realized by mistake that going closer to it gives points, thus reinforcing it and doing it more and more. Then you had to condition them in order for them to learn how to walk around walls and such by placing a wall and a marker on the other side. The robots would smack into it until one of them accidentally slipped around, and the others slowly figured it out too. You did the same for teaching them how to shoot at other robots and dodge shots, etc.

Anyone? >_>

It wasn't a game about programming per say, and the robots were humanoid looking. So it wasn't robowars or robo arena, etc.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a PC game that had 3 factions based on a tiled map. You battled to take control of control points with a group of units you commanded with other people who had their own units and the units were very starcraft-esque. For example, on faction had tanks, artillery etc and another faction MAY have been zerg-like but I'm not entirely sure...

It was quite futuristic and sci-fi but had poor graphics but great gameplay.

If anyone could help, that would be great THANK YOU!

EDIT: The game was early 2000s I think and there was a system where you could vote for a leader (real player) for your faction regularly. I'm not sure about this but you could also pay to upgrade your units/having to replace or repair them? You could definitely level them up with the fighting I think. It was in third person, angled-down view, similar to Starcarft. Graphics actually quite similar to Starcraft.

I barely remember this game at all so sorry for the vague description. I downloaded it onto my PC in the early 2000's. I remember you woke up locked in some kind of tower and I think it said something about your father being in danger? At one point you put together some kind of gear thing? At another point you had to find pearls? and at one point you were looking for a bunch of pieces of paper in a building with a lot of instruments? Any ideas?

Hi folks. This is a long shot, but this has been driving me insane off and on for years. At some point in the early 90s I bought a PC game. I think it was mostly an adventure game, though I didn't really get that far in it. I remember nothing at all about the main plot. It was set in what I remember being your pretty standard fantasy kingdom and there were city guards that for no reason would throw spears at the player character. The camera angle would switch quite a bit, I remember it being a behind the character kind of affair, but when the guards were throwing spears at you it was more like a Final Fight type of camera angle.

The single most distinctive thing that I remember is that you could enter the sewers of the city at one point and there was a batshit crazy old guy down there with a pet rat that he kept referring to as his dog. I know that's not much to go on. I've spent hours on multiple occasions looking through lists of old games and haven't found it.
Still haven't found it, and it's still driving me maaaaaaaaaaad. Haha.

I registered just to find a game that was bouncing around in my head for months now. It was a 2d game with planes. The default plane was a Fokke Wulf and it even had a TIE fighter and TIE bomber and other Starwars things but mainly just normal planes. You were dog fighting or bombing an enemy base. It was definetly on Windows but I'm not sure if it was Win2k or WinXP, it was free I think.

game on a pc, involved an interface covered with buttons, and a small screen in the top left where all the gameplay was going on. A sort of adventure game where the heroine was on the island of "really evil guy". All i remember was that [j] started a conveyor belt which threw some enemies into a pool of lava. Good thing about games those days, NO QTE's!
Did you ever find out what game this was?
Yup, it was called Critical Path.

Hello there, since this topic is 348 pages long I didn't browse through it all to find it, but I'm looking for a game I've heard about a few years back... the game was either a PS1 or PS2 game, rpg, and it had an inverted world, meaning that the whole world was around the sun... If I remember correctly it was also a horror game.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, because Google has been failing me on this subject for quite a while now :p

Edit: I also remember that is was a sort of apocalyptic state? The link the person a bit below this post gave me could be usefull to finding the game, but it was not listed there, I clearly remember it being horror and cruel and more 'western' like rpg (so probably not turn-based). I am going off on a description I heard about it a few years ago when I was talking about older games, but I forgot about it when I got home and then when I remembered it I did not know the name anymore >.>

I know its not a lot of information but i hope someone can help me out
I know it's a small help, but since you don't leave many clues, I give you links to these sites:

and maybe something will ring the bell. Wish you good luck:)

Well... You said you googled it, so I feel quite embarassed putting link from Wiki, but maybe it's worth a try.

It has everything on Dyson sphere as I understand that this is the World you search for.
Also good luck!

Even though I have an extra term to look for, it was not in the list it seems, I did go over all of them that had a somewhat similar description and the Shin Megumi (or something like that) looked promising, but ended up not being what I look for... Perhaps it would help if I said that the game is somewhat apocalyptic and you could look up and see the sun at the core of the Dyson Sphere (?) and it should be real scary (from what the person told me)

I'm not expecting anyone to know what I'm talking about let alone the name of the game but here it goes. This was a PC demo game(not sure it even became a real game). It was on a disk of a 1000 or so shareware games with blitz(not the football game the risk sort of game) back in the 90's. Basically you were like a mid evil soldier or something and you walk around throwing axes or something at opponents. Some times those opponents were these big gobs of green goo, so weird bbut so fun! I played this game on a flopy disk that's right a floppy! It got thrown out at some point years ago and I've been wanting to play the game ever since. Please help if you can!

That sound kinda like Ghost 'n Goblins. (Be aware, there were versions of this on many systems, including PC)
