Can not for the life of me remember this game's name.
You start off and play as (I believe) a female character with a gun, and have a robot dog companion with lasers and a guy with a mohawk and a staff weapon.
It's a quite old rpg, with "active battle" type loading for fights, similar to FF7.
Several other things I remember are a forested area, a graveyard with a zombie necromancer boss, and giant mutant crabs. Oh, and lots and lots of bread being consumed for healing.
I'd be quite happy if someone knows it.

The game im looking for was on PC probably played it between 1999 and 2005. it was a top down shooter that was somewhat open world. you could roam around the large levels freely and there were set entry and exit points that would lead you to a map so you could select your next destination. from what i remember it was bloody, and the city you were in was ether ravaged by crime or mutants. there was a large selection of weapons and items. some of the locations you could travel to include a zoo, subway stations and a sewer system. as far i remember there was limited use of boats/cars and you started the game in an office inside of a tower. the graphics were nothing to write home about but the game looked clean enough to play. had a gritty "dirty" feeling as far as the visuals and combat was concerned.

I'm looking for a game I played in elementary school on a Mac back in the 90s. It was a murder mystery of some sort where you had to search through a house. You typed in commands to go to different rooms and perform different actions. At one point a dagger gets thrown at you, I think when you go upstairs. When you're in the kitchen, the lights go out, and there is no way to leave the room until you figure out how to get the lights back on. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hey guys, there is a game that I used to play in the late 90s, it was a Tarzan game where you started as a baby and had to finish these 2D levels, it was in a super mario kind of look with different platforms where (i think) you had to collect all the bananas while staying away from the gorillas and I remember on the level where tarzan was older, you had to get away from poachers and you could grab nets and throw them on them. It was not a very well known game like the main one, and it wasn't the main storyline.

EDIT: It was a PC game

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a PC game that had 3 factions based on a tiled map. You battled to take control of control points with a group of units you commanded with other people who had their own units and the units were very starcraft-esque. For example, on faction had tanks, artillery etc and another faction MAY have been zerg-like but I'm not entirely sure...

It was quite futuristic and sci-fi but had poor graphics but great gameplay.

If anyone could help, that would be great THANK YOU!

EDIT: The game was early 2000s I think and there was a system where you could vote for a leader (real player) for your faction regularly. I'm not sure about this but you could also pay to upgrade your units/having to replace or repair them? You could definitely level them up with the fighting I think. It was in third person, angled-down view, similar to Starcarft. Graphics actually quite similar to Starcraft.

Edit 2: Some more information is that it was FREE TO PLAY and you didn't have to build building for units, the units entered strait into battle with you (and units came in groups of like 8 or 10, not individually. There were also no heroes.

I remember this one game that I use to play on the Playstation One as a child. It was a 3rd person shooter/infiltration style of game (nothing to do with Metal Gear Solid) that occasionally involved picking up differently colored cards to open locked blast doors and such. It had a sort of..futuristic feel to it. I vaguely remember the first level. It started you off with your character flying in a helicopter,or rather, standing on the side of the helicopter while above a moving train. The cinematic involved the character jumping onto the train, and then ending with him in kind of a cool pose. The level would then start next to,I would guess, the railway tracks that the train was passing by. You then would have to go and beat up your first enemy in the game, beating the shit out of him and taking a..like..sort of blue+green-ish card off of him to open a blast door to continue the level. At the end of the level was a boss fight with some big guy that was hammering away at an anvil,he says something to your character and then runs at you with it. I actually remember my strategy involving racking up a huge amount of sub-machine gun ammo to finish him off quicker. I can barely remember anything in between the end and the beginning and the end of the first stage..
And that's about all I can offer. Any ideas on what it might be called?
I've remembered a bit of the starting screen, and I wanted to elaborate on it a bit and maybe that will help me find it.
It was a 180 degree view over some kind of futuristic city, and the large object in it was a blue dome-like structure that,I think, had square outline-ings throughout it. The options were also a shade of blue and were on the right hand side of the screen...
That's about all I managed to remember.
Is that Syphon Filter?
No,but the perspective you look at your character from is nearly the same except a bit higher.

It must have been ten years ago at least. Was for the pc. It was a 3D game (with very cartoonish graphics) where you could wander around this city and rob buildings. Very puzzle-based, with guards that followed a prescribed path. If I remember correctly, you'd record your moves, almost, then play it forward and see if your plan worked. Anyone remember this one? It's been bugging the hell out of me and I don't remember quite enough to pin down the name.

Hi,

I hope someone knows that name of this game I played on Windows 98.

I think it was a 2D isometric Mars colony simulation game/Simcity on Mars between 1998 and 2002.

When the game starts, you are located on a colony ship above Mars and there is a menu prompting you to launch/eject the escape/colony pods. If you launch too soon, the pods will fire retroburners too soon and crash, and if you launch too late, the pods fire retroburners too late and crash or the ship in space explodes/runs out of oxygen.

The pods looked like this, but in top down isometric view: http://www.chthulhu.com/models/hab/100_0652a.jpg
If you were launched the pods at the right moment, all 4 pods survive landing, otherwise 1 or more would crash and leave a tile of rubble.

I think the in-game GUI and terrain looked similar to Life on Mars?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vajYpGgv3qM
However, the buildings were different.

To begin building, you would have to build a corridor from one of the pods. The corridors looked like this the + shaped buildings in Moonbase: http://www.emuparadise.me/GameBase%20Amiga/Screenshots/M/Moonbase_-_Lunar_Colony_Simulator_1.png
or the x shaped buildings in Outpost: http://s.uvlist.net/l/y2011/11/89809.jpg
The buildings must be constructed next to a corridor or another building similar to Moonbase and Outpost.

I think the greenhouse sprites looked like this: http://www.outofthecradle.net/WordPress/wp-content/uploads/pole_colony.jpg
or this: http://www.creativecrash.com/system/photos/000/095/261/95261/big/greenhouse3.jpg?1275254426

There were other buildings, but I can't remember what they looked like. All the buildings had the same sized footprint (occupied a tile) and all the tiles were the same size.

I think in the game, you could also build rovers that looked like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3a/Sojourner_on_Mars_PIA01122.jpg/220px-Sojourner_on_Mars_PIA01122.jpg
The rovers were built from the pods and you used them to explore the planet. I think there was a day/night cycle, so that the rovers could only move during the day.

The game might also have been single player turn-based.

I'm sorry I don't remember much more.
The first thing that comes to mind is Outpost.
Thanks, but it wasn't Outpost. The game didn't have the star system map or let you choose what to take on the ship and didn't have videos. The game starts when the colony ship is already in orbit around Mars and the player must decided when to launch the colony pods.

I'm figuratively dying to know the name of this game.
The closest thing i could find was Hungry Red Planet, but it's an old educational game and there's no videos, no screenshots, no nothing, so i can't really check anything...
Thanks, but it wasn't Hungry Red Planet. The game didn't have any aliens or other non-human creatures.
I've recreated a picture of how I remember the screen if the four colony pods landed successfully.

The terrain tiles are from Mars, Land of No Mercy and the colony pods are from Marc Salotti's Mars game, both have been ruled out.

Hello everyone, I made a registration here, so you could help me and I hope that will happen. I remember playing a game - It was a 2D, some kind of a quest with a sideways view - your units move from the left side of the screen to the right(like super mario), you control 3 or so units and you can switch between them so one of them is the main one. I remember there was a shooter some kind of a sniper(similar to the one in the DotA), a wizard and each one had different abilities, you can choose how to upgrade them with points and stuff.. During the levels there are minions - when you meet them you start a battle and you take rounds to attack. I remember an Ice level or something, where the snow was blowing towards me and made it harder to walk and jump. The Boss was very hard also...I remember a quest you had to take a bag and bring it to someone, there were ghost-like creatures on some levels.. Most of the characters were dressed in something like brown monk-like robes. I think it is atleast 6-7 years old. I think i got it from a Bulgarian PC Magazine gift CD. It was a great game, I hope someone tells me what was it's name. Thank you in advance!

Its a point and click game that i played a couple years ago where you're a caveman and looking for food, all you have is a spear and then a wolf catches you. you have to run to a small cave where you find some old tools, you find a light and some tunnels in the back. the game was made within the last 5 years probably since it was pretty good quality and relatively new looking

hopefully this is descriptive enough

I'm not expecting anyone to know what I'm talking about let alone the name of the game but here it goes. This was a PC demo game(not sure it even became a real game). It was on a disk of a 1000 or so shareware games with blitz(not the football game the risk sort of game) back in the 90's. Basically you were like a mid evil soldier or something and you walk around throwing axes or something at opponents. Some times those opponents were these big gobs of green goo, so weird bbut so fun! I played this game on a flopy disk that's right a floppy! It got thrown out at some point years ago and I've been wanting to play the game ever since. Please help if you can!
That sound kinda like Ghost 'n Goblins. (Be aware, there were versions of this on many systems, including PC)
sorta close by my description that could have been the right game but it wasn't. The game I played you controlled a red soldier I think with a sword and I believe there were archers in the game too. I believe you worked with a team sometimes and tried to take over castles. You did not fight zombies and what not though. It was kind of like warcraft(before world of warcraft) without the ability to create anything I guess, without the orcs and goo instead, humans fight humans too.

I wish I could offer a better description but I was young when I played it so It's hard to remember. It was also more of a mid 90's game I believe not an 80's game but I could be wrong. I don't know how old the game was when I started playing it although I assumed in was new

Alright guys, hopefully you can help me. I am looking for an old spaceship type game...but I played it about 15 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy. Basically you could get different ships and stuff...it was a 3rd person overhead play and it had a `gravity`like feel to it when you were flying. It was not really anything like `space invaders`...quite different. It was either dos or windows 95 lol.

/edit a few other things, you could fly around the whole screen, and the map was larger than your screed. You could spin any direction and you would get attacked by..other ships? You could buy different ships and items for your ships I think.

That's vague as hell, and no game comes to my mind, but the character does sound kinda like Nightcrawler from X-Men.

I'm tryiing to remember the name of a game on the original Xbox wherein you could choose one of four characters and you could coop with up to four people. The point was that you ran around fighting demons, zombies, etc only the humans couldn't see them. One level was in a night club where the zombies were attacking humans and you had to save as many as you could.
The character i always liked was one with two pistols that had giant ass blades on the end.

Anyone?

Hi Guyz!

I am totally new here(like a Paratrooper landing on new continent..) so in advance sorry for not following any rules or something like that... and sorry for bad grammar..

(My memory is very blury because I played this game on my first PC so I was very young at that time and my information may mislead you...)

I am trying to remember an adventure game (I think..) and all I can remember is that the game is on PC ( win 98 or 95 I think), the main character is in blue clothes(robe), camera is like bird view (in some situations 2D - 3D). its like detective puzzle solveing RPG game, u collect various items to progress in game also coins ( I cant remember what you use the coins for... XD). The name Lab, Lab32 keeps poping im my head when I am trying to remember anything.. (maby it has something to do with publishers or the door from the house lab that you must open with a key, i dont know... And the last thing that I can remember is the scene, the house lab, red car, but the sea is also near like a coastal area or docks.. and it mostly rained in that area and if I am not mistaking the castle was also visible in the distance... oh yeah something to mention, its not very engageable game in terms of fighting you mostly trying to run away from danger... that is all so if, IF anyone knows the name of the game PLEASE tell me, I will also be active here now and help for mutual interest not just snatch the info and vanish!

so being thinking/remebering about this game I also rememered another AWESOME game that i have played and its about racing, its a PC arcade racing game with space ships who you can upgade (weapons, speed, ect.) or you can buy new better ships and upgrade them, its strictly about raceing, its strictly 2D game, you had multyplayer, 4 players or 2 players ( dont know exatc 2 or 4 players...), also good to mention i played this game before first described game, it was one of my first games I have ever played and u had AWSD, space controls so it was keyboard rapist not the joystick. :D

thank you in andvance and cheers from Croatia :)

For the second game take a look at Slipstream 5000
