Hi guys, a while ago I posted about a game but nobody answerred it...

It's a pc game I played somewhere between 1998 and 2005. I'm not sure when it came out. It was a game you could play on the internet. I remember it being a platform game with a sidevieuw, simmilar to the mario and sonic games. You could play 2 characters: a wizard in blue robes (and a staff?) and a viking with an axe. Both characters looked like dwarves due to the long beards, however I'm not sure wether they really were dwarves.

I remember you had to fight skeletons in one level, it was dark and dungeon looking with stones in the background.

I really hope you guys can help me find the game cause it was an awesome game and the soundtrack I remember was fun too.

Thanks alot!

One last game (at the moment) i remember playing on the pc; mid-late 90s (i only played the demo? it came with one of those *Pc-Mag's*), it wasn't exactly cell-shaded... it looked drawn; but a *good* drawn... and not cartoony:

What i remember is, its set in the near-far future (post apocalyptic)? you have 3 (or 4)? characters... maybe only 2? it was isometric view (but more side on than top-down iso)... i think it was turn based and the characters seemed to *jump* to the clicked destination (there was no movement animation); now for the characters... i seem to remember one being femail (cant remember her ability/skill), and 2 others were male (i think) ahhh... so there were 3... lol... any way the other 2 i am *sure* one was a stealth class (could hide in the shadows *or* go invisible, had a dagger/sword/knife? and maybe a *scilenced* weapon of some kind?) i think he wore darkish clothes?... the other man? was a *commando* type character, bigger weapons/strength etc (i cant remember any skill/level system involved but there could possibley have been)?

the only other thing i remember about this game is that the stage i was on (or remember playing the most) was sort of like a dessert (Spelling?) type land, or it was arid (the floor was quite sandy/light brown/beige colour) and the trees i *think* were bear of leaves?, there were a few broken building which you could inspect and stuff..

I dont remember getting any loot off downed enemies, but that might have happened... you could only control one character at once? (or you could combine their *turns/moves*?) i cant remember which... i don't *think* the game had a *grid* layout (or you could turn it on/off)?

(i dont know how to add attachments so i hope you have enough imagination to see this): i think i remember a point (near to the start?) where my *heroes* were inside a kind of enclosier (sorry spelling), there were a couple of greyish/blueish barrels near the bottom of it, a few were overturned? there was some kind of *off-white* (and possibley broken/decaying) wall that went along the bottom, and up the right hand side (and also the left?) of the broken building (which was same colour as the wall)? this did not take up the whole screen, there was more scenery *infront* of the wall and to the sides as well? the only? enterence into the *complex*? was on the left hand side? (or you had to *climb* a tree?

I *think* different kind of moves/abilities would take more *action points* than others... like shooting or doing an action skill would cost more points than generally moving?

and i remember i *think* when you were out of move points, the character you were at the time would say something like *... but its not me*? or something similar (this was either white text on the screen *or* it was spoken as well??? i remember the text bit i am sure... i think lol)

that is all i can remember, a lot of information i know... wich is why it seems very strange to me that google shows me nothing at all... i just hope someone here remembers the game or demo disk it was on...

I will accept anything: *this was only ever a demo and they never compleated it* or *it wasn't very successful* etc, but i would love to know where i can buy it/emulate it/download it even to the extent of *just* watching one of those *Let's Play* kind of videos... one last thing, it was uk magazine like *Pc Gamer* or something

EDIT: i remember the graphics (although kind of drawn) had at least a *semblance* of being 3D

thank you
sorry for the re-post, but im desperate to know this one above all my previous *asks*, lol... i have done an extesnsive search (even on the *Abandonware* web-site... and find nothing... all i can say is *it looks similar to the pictures of a game called x-com/ufo on the mentioned web-site, the only difference is, its not as colourful (by this i mean, not as cartoony*), although its almost the same view, i also think i remember the *graphics* looking as if they were made from billions of dots? that come together to make an almost realistic/3d-ish world... the final thing i remember i *think* is that the *action* pannel was either to the right of the screen (up-to-down/down-to-up) or underneath, and i think this section was either a *teal* colour or a very washed out *green*? please please help me with this one! thanks

EDIT: it looked a lot like this (graphic wise) http://mmohuts.com/wp-content/gallery/jx2-online/jx2-online-game-flier.jpg?ec9f9b

EDIT: and unless my memory is completley wrong: although it looks similar to *X-COM* and *Jagged Alliance* games, i dont think it is (although it looks a hell of a lot similar to jagged alliance 2)

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a game similar to "sling game".
Screen Shot from "sling": http://174.120.103.90/images-freegameaccess/sling-fire-big.jpg
Gameplay from "sling": http://youtu.be/0hgdBGxNKgE

But it was older and looks simply. Do you remember name of the game?
Thanks.

Hi !
I'm looking for a game which came out in early 90's, in 2D. And you can play 4 different characters ... I know this isn't very specific, and I'll be happy if you'll give me just a list of title =)

I've been thinking about this game and it has been bugging me forever. I don't remember much, but it is a game on the PC in first person and I think its a kids adventure game where you take a blimp to this island. You walk around and solve puzzles I believe. Every time I see "Myst" it reminds me of this game. I can't figure it out, can anyone help me?
the only *myst* type game i can think of is *riven*? but here is a list of *myst * games... sorry if you cant find it

http://gameslikefinder.com/games-like-myst/
I'm pretty sure it is a kids game and it was made in the 90's... but maybe I am mistaken... the memory is very foggy.

Greetings,

I have been searching for the name of a game that I played when I was a child. I've been searching for about five years without any luck, so hopefully someone here knows what I'm talking about.

My memory is hazy, but here's what I know and what my family members remember:

- It took place inside of some sort of castle or dungeon
- Dragons were involved
- The player needed to learn passwords in order to access certain areas and progress
- When asked for action input, the screen read, "How now, Inspector?"
- The game had you assume the role of the protagonist/inspector
- I'm not 100% on this one, but I'm pretty sure that the title splash was a big red dragon

Additionally, there was limited graphical interfacing. It played like a text adventure, but had a black background and used mostly white, red and brown tones to produce limited graphics. There was no mouse.

This game was played on a Tandy computer around 1995-1997, and required entering DOS Shell in order to be launched. If anyone knows what it might be, I'd appreciate it greatly.
Just reposting this so that it doesn't get overlooked.

By the way... Why do game designers not check there names when they making a game?

When i hear "Fable" i think of a classic point and click adventure game from the mid 90's. Same is whit "Unreal" (well known FPS from 1998 and Fantasy Action game from 1991).

And i think there are more games whit the same name whit total different content. This makes searching difficult.

please help!
2d win95 game with what I think were somewhat 3d sprites. It took place on what I think was similar to a chess board or a grid, and you had to deploy wind-up toys to travel across the board to fight the other sides wind-up toys.
guesses appreciated!

Not good at textbased games, but maybe you can find it here? By searching some keywords. ( http://ifdb.tads.org/search )

Only game i can think of with player text input, is Demon's Forge ( http://www.giantbomb.com/demons-forge/3030-18075/ )

Alright, been trying to remember a game for ages now.

It was an old DOS game on a floppy. The graphics were rather terrible, I don't remember if anything moved or not, and you went from page to page to navigate. It was a puzzle, fetch-quest kind of game with horror overtones to it.

I remember that wherever you began had a fireplace which might have had piles of skulls around or in it, and you could find a key in it. There was also a river with a dead guy in it that would talk to you, and a creepy tree. There was a field maze that might have been through corn that would lead you in circles.

This game is NOT Shadowgate.
