Alright, I am searching for an old strategy game similar to Age of Empires in a way.
I'll try to describe it in as much detail as I can.
- it was a demo game and it had asian looking civilization.
- in your starting map on the middle was a big wall which was indestructible, but wide enough to have army on it, with gates in the middle that could be attacked, you started the game with a people who could be put to work or sent to barrack to train to become soldiers or to hold ladders to climb the wall, and also in the middle would be some kind of a palace where the pink emperor would stand.
- in the corner of the map was exit where you enter another map which has hills with houses on them; which you could take to gain some kind of resources which would enable you to train some kind of strong warrior, at the four corners of that map were entrances to another maps where enemies are- those map are the same as starting map just containing enemy civs
- other thing I remember is that for food you could build some kind of pig farms, and also there your workers could become sick with some kind of disease which would slow down your progress.

I played that around 10 years ago and I've been trying to find that game for years.

When I was little, I was playing a computer game that now I do not remember how is called and I'm looking to find the game title. The game was a guy with blue hair that had several missions in many places, such as in the snow with icebergs around. Also on another mission was to an exotic place that fighting pirates used swords to defeat the pirates, who were his enemies. The game was adventure! If anyone knows the title of this game, please answer me. :)

Hi everyone, I got a really old game that I've been trying to recall for a long time now. It's an arcade game from the late 80's, early 90's. It's a run and gun kinda game, where you control a really small character (I mean, it's human, but the frame of the action is really wide), what was really unique was that you could pick up not only a ton of different firearms, but also mechas o some kinda armored vehicles. If your vehicle/armor was destroyed your human character would jump out of it and I guess you still had like a hand gun or something. Thanks in advance.

Hi I'm looking for an ooold Windows dinosaur game. Probably early 00's game. I can't remember much about it all I can is when you progressed it was like a board game. And there is this one level when you have to sneak past a t-rex.
Sorry it doesn't explain much, it was just so long ago!
There may have been some fossil building where you got pieces of bones and rebuilt a dino skeleton but im not too sure.

Sorry if this one has been figured out already & I also apologize for a lack of details.

The game I remember was for PC, it was an RPG, maybe a JRPG but was translated if so.

I remember the view being from a "diablo like" point of view, turn based combat, and a kind of cyber-punk setting.

You made your selection during turn based combat using the mouse & not the keyboard if that is helpful. I had it some time prior to 2005.

I think I got the game out of a bargain bin & haven't seen it other than that. It was a great game from what I remember & didn't get a chance to finish it.

Thanks.
was it with a chick that had blue long hair and it had an anime style?
YES YES!! Please, what was it called?
Septerra Core ( http://www.giantbomb.com/septerra-core-legacy-of-the-creator/3030-1156/images/ )
Thank you. Sincerely. It is even on Steam. Going to play now. Thank you again.

Re-posting... Sorry.

I am looking for a game that was pretty old and I can't remember it at all. It was a local co-op game that was revolved around two wizards, one ice wizard, the other a fire. It had many levels, I remember it being sort of top down. One level was where you both start on a small island and you both waited for the boats. Both of you had to get on at the same time so that the screen would follow both, otherwise the other character disappeared from the screen(because the screen only followed the person that was the furthest ahead) until you go and bring them with you on the second boat. It had many puzzles and a lot of bosses to kill. I'm not quite sure if it had combo's or not, but I remember one of the bosses being a big dragon that you had to kill each body part to kill him.
I'm sorry if this is not descriptive enough, but that's all I remember.
Please help me find this game :(

I have two games that have both been driving me crazy. They're both for the PC and were likely released in the 90s.

The first game was a sort of 'realistic' safari game where you'd start in a large house with a museum on the top level. Downstairs you had to find keys and you'd find one by becoming a fly and getting a 'fly view' of the room as it buzzed around. To get to the safari bit you had to leave the house and go to a zebra patterned jeep that would exit through a gate into the africa bit where the animals were. All of it was in first person. The museum bit upstairs had a lot of skeletons of animals fenced off with red rope.

The second game was some kind of educational game set in a spooky castle. It would cover different subjects like english where you had to go across stepping stones that were set in a lake of green acid/goo to reach the other side. The maths subject involved a giant spider web and a spider that tried to get you. The science was like all zoomed out and you were on a magic broomstick, opening chests and things. Art was like, set in a forest and you had to put down stamps/stickers of stuff. I swear to god the name of the main character was like goopy or gloopy and he was a purple/pink dinosaur or something of that sort.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Thank god for this thread...I joined just to try my luck.
I have been searching for this game for years, so I will be extremely grateful if someone can finally help me with this.
This game is sort of a game for children, it is sort of educational. It is a puzzle game with around 12 levels, and I believe you play some sort of cop who has to solve puzzles to prove that the thief is able to commit theft under the given circumstances and such. After solving the puzzle, the thief would then teleport(?) and you get to solve the next puzzle. There is also a professor-like character icon that acts as the hint icon on the bottom left corner of the screen as you solve the puzzles. The whole game has a cartoonish feel to it.
Here are some of the few levels I remember:
One level requires the player to prove the thief can commit the theft of a few jewels in 12 moves. The solution to the puzzle is methodically taking out all the jewels from the drawers from bottom to top, then closing all the drawers in one swoop using a broom.
Another level involves a classic puzzle with the feel of the "Wolf, Goat and Cabbage" problem (http://britton.disted.camosun.bc.ca/jbwolfgoat.htm). Except that in this game, it involves a dog, a treasure chest and the thief, and the goal to use platforms (which can only hold 2 of these things at one time) to move all these 3 things up into a cage. The dog if left alone would eat the thief, and the thief would steal the chest if left alone with it. For this puzzle, the setting has an Egyptian feel to it.
The final level of the game involves moving through tunnels in a dungeon to locate the thief who escaped into it. You can make chalk markings, or light candles which are set in a circle. I never solved that level as a child and really wish I can find this game once again and solve this level once and for all. No regrets, right?
If this jogs your memory, please, please, please tell me its name! I am really desperate about this.Thank you!

EDIT: Found the game! It's called "The Puzzling Time Quest" for those who are interested. Thanks!

Ok so there is this game I played like 2 years ago, I've been trying to find it ever since but I just can't...It's like an multiplayer online(not mmo) space game. To play the game you had to download a launcher like program which displayed the list of the servers and stuff like that.. In the game you could choose what type of ship you wanted to use, there were I think 2 teams in each server or something like that and you could capture planets and build systems on them and then you had to defend them. The camera was focusing on your ship the view was like top down strategy game like I think but you may have been able to rotate it I don't remember clearly. The game was free and probably 3d and kind of old. Don't say games like Eve online and all the other popular titles because it's not. Please help me if you can and send me an email in case I don't see the post here. Thanks :)

Sidescrolling platformer. Played it on the PC (Windows 98) like 10 years ago (although it might have been an emulator, dunno). You're a tall green (?) bald alien (?) with long ears in silver (or red? or something? colors) suit. You run, you have momentum, like in the first stage there's a ramp and you can only get below it by running towards it and squating before it (by holding down) (second picture). When you bump into a wall you moan a bit. There's falling damage. When you die you explode into bits, and your bits float towards the last checkpoint and you reassemble.
Late there's a falling level, you're falling and you have to dodge shit, and I think after you land all the shit falls down after you, so you dodge again.
Late level, platforms fading and reappearing, they have a stupid sound while doing this. You're proceeding upwards I think. There's a bridge made out of these platforms and they disappear after each other, so you have to plan your run (third picture).
If you inserted an audio CD into the disc drive it played that music while you played.
Maybe: Alien Rampage.

I signed up just for this to re live my child hood so hopefully you can help me out I don't remember if this game was for playstation 1 or 2 but it was this game where you had 2 robots facing up against each other far away it's hard to remember but I think it was sort of foggy between them and you would have these weapons on the robots. The robots would take turns shooting each other with these cannons and when they got hit the graphics and movement were sick it's also just like front mission but I am sure that's not it but it's still the same concept
Ring of Red?

No. There's no combat, just platforming.

There's this game for either Sega Genesis or Sega Saturn that's driving me crazy, so I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I don't remember much but I know it starts off with you driving a car (in first person view) down a highway. After you arrive at your destination, you get out of the car and it becomes either a beat 'em up or a shoot 'em up. I'm pretty sure you drive again after every level too.

Ok, this post is really long and i am having trouble trying to remember this game, It is old, really old i remember playing it 2005 (i know it is older then that) it was on a sega system, or was it... any way i found it as a trail flash game on Pc, this is the game, you are a non human character walking around a platform on a bird eye view style game you do have co-op and the game is to pick up random weapons and powerups and find a specific person or thing to advance. the background was like space (i think the players where aliens) if this helps it was on the same system in which you would play football as monsters and you can enter a cheat code to sack the ref and splatter him. (if you have the name of that game as well awesome!) any way if more info is needed i will post on what i remember. OH update.. there are really weird power ups and stuff that is really weird.

I remember playing a game from the 90s or early 2000s that is similar to Myst - basically you travel through different time periods, search for items, solve puzzles, etc. I remember being in a medieval era, old west, ancient egypt. Its not journeyman 2. can anybody help me out??

other details - i remember gameplay pieces - in the old west you have to use morse code to send a message, in the ancient egypt period you open a door that takes you under the sphinx...don't know if this info helps...

The game I've been trying to find is from about 13 to 15 years ago. It was a PC rp game. You got to choose one of four siblings to fight for, and each one represented their own skill set. One brother was a necromancer type, one was some type of paladin, the sister was water related somehow, and I think the other brother was a mage. I remember that if you ended up choosing the sister, you could eventually control a flight of dragons and attack a pirate port. I'd really love to find this game, as it helped me not go insane after I was badly injured by a drunk driver. I'd appreciate any help!

Hey

Looking for a plane game on PC with a C&C style top view. Played it around 95- 2000. From memory wasn't a stand alone game, came on a CD with 10 - 15 other games on it.
Map was lots of islands surrounded by water. Probably Two types of ammo, one for shooting enemy planes, and bombs for hitting enemy buildings, plane buildings, enemy Anti aircraft etc etc.
had bases where you could refil your ammo, you had maybe 4/5 of these spread over map. And you could choose maybe 3 different type of aircraft to be. Probably played only with keyboard

Thanks for taking your time in reading this
