Hi guys I was wondering if you could help me remember that name of a game that has been driving me CRAZY. I normally would just say Oh well to something this trivial, but the fact is the memory of this game is now vital to the approach in our game design. But I remember so little.

All I remember about this game is that it had something to do with a war between two factions, I can't remember if they were apes, pigs, or something, but what i do remember is that the plot was hilarious as it was basically a series of rip offs of famous movies. The only scene I vaguely recall was a parody of the carbonite han solo scene in star wars from one of the characters/factions. Any ideas?

Okay, so there was this game I downloaded years ago onto my Nintendo Wii. It was a sidescroller game where you play as someone who's sort of like megaman. Co-Op was also available. Anyways, in the beginning, you choose your weapon type (like a green gun, blue gun, and a regular bullet type blast) and you can upgrade or swap guns later on in the game. This was like a side scroller and had a couple of bosses.

Nope. But thx for trying. Now that I've had some time to think about it the vague cutscene I recall was a deliberate rip off story of Halo and somehow transitioned to Star Wars where one of the characters was being taken away in carbonite or something.

Hi, there is an old game that I really wanted to re-play but I can't remember the name, I couldn't finish it last time.

-PC games, adventure/puzzle, third person camera view, cartoon graphic.
-I played it around year 2000-2002, but the game could be older.

I only remember that you played as a male character, travel town to town, killing monsters and do some puzzle quests in town and also outside of town. I remember one of your gadget is a timer bomb that you can use unlimitedly, the bomb will help you blow off some walls in the cave when you travel between towns. Every towns got a few puzzle quests that you need to solve - I remember that in one of the town you need to rescue a cat that stuck on a high place, and you need to put certain liquid into soup pot and take it to a guard to put him asleep. Every quest related things will have a sparkling light on it to hint you.

If anyone know this game name I would really appreciate it.

Hi guys!

I'm searching for an old point and click adventure game that I played on my mom's old laptop (somewhere between 95-99). I only remember parts of it, but i hope some of you have played with it :)

- The game takes place in a futuristic world, and it's in a cartoonish stlye, like the scummvm games
- You play with a guy who wears glasses and i think wears a white suit (not sure)
- You start in a place that looks like a construction site, and from there you can go to a subway station (in the toilet you got beaten up by some big guys, the train can run over you)
- There is an old house after that, where you get into an old apartment, where you can gather some stuff. I think there was an old lady you could talk to.
- The only "cinematic" i remember: You get into a flying car with a busty girl (she drives) and a big white dog. She brings you to an entrance of a futuristic mall (or some building). The entrance got a security robot-eye, that you can disable some way, but i think i only did it once :D
- In the mall (or some building) there are bunch of people moving, and i think that's where i got stuck.

Any help would be great :)
Sorry to quote it again, but it's bugging me too much :) It was not a big classic game for sure, i checked a lot of abandonware sites (at least 10), but no luck. Beneath a Steel Sky and Space Quest are not this game, but this one is like the hybrid of these two. Maybe a hint: it was preinstalled on a german notebook that my mom bought (used) in Germany.

Hi guys!

This game is from the 90's. It came in one of those older large cardboard boxes. It's a 2D game from an Isometric view, where you control a small group of soldiers.

The main character is a redhead woman in army gear. I can't recall what the objective of the game is, but you proceed mission by mission killing AI in a sandy environment.

All help is much appreciated!!

Hello everyone this one has been bothering me lately there's this old aerial combat game I use to play where I am able to change different ships by landing on air strips. I was also able to fight against gaint blimps as boss battles and I remember one of the levels had me fight a gaint purple blimp that ate other blimps. I also remeber many of the airplanes were like ww1 ww2 esp style. I also assume it was on the ps2 and original Xbox. Hope this helps.

Awesome thread!!! I have one that's been bugging me for years! It was a first person shooter if I recall correctly, I remember the enemies, some of them were smileys with guns, others were purple fluffy monsters. The setting seemed to me like a school, it had lockers on the walls, and such. It was a casual game, seemed pretty underground to me. I remember the time in which I played it, was the same as when I played Doom II, say maybe.. 1998. It reminds me a lot of the Windows 3D maze screensaver. Hope you can help me!!!

I have been trying to remember this game for ever, can anyone help me?

-It was a PlayStation 2 game if I recall correctly.

-It was a pretty linear adventure game from what I remember (level to level).

-The story involved a large bird like creature.

-Can't remember the playable character, not sure if it was a human, animal or made up species.

-I also remember having to destroy these large grey eggs (that look a lot like regular seagull eggs in this day and age just bigger). I'm guessing these were lay'd by that giant bird we are pursuing.

-Sadly I can't remember what the purpose for the giant eggs were although I remember them bouncing as if they had a live creature trying to push itself out from inside the egg.

-Final boss battle is the fight with this giant bird like creature I think.

My doubts: For some reason I can't confirm for sure if the eggs were collected or destroyed but I'm 80% sure it was destroyed.

Thanks for any help :)

Alright i got a tough one here I can picture it in my head but cant think of the name.
Its an old 90's game on an old macintosh II or at least i played it on one of them.
Your a guy that does puzzles, level by level it gets harder.
You can push blocks (if i remember right), and you move square by square. (only used arrow keys for this game)
Your objective is to get a certain colored key to get out of a certain colored Door (there can be multiple colors for one level).
There's mostly grey but your colored and certain things are like Keys, Triangles that move around and try to get you, lava, iced floor that you slide across.
It looked like one of the games that might have came with the comp, i know it wasnt an installed game that was cd based thats for sure. 8 bit graphics maybe less since it was on a macintosh II.

Been bugging me for a few days and i don't wanna let it go cause that's just me hah. If anyone knows that'd ease my mind. Thanks

another game ive lost the name for but again heres what i remember, its a real time strategy game that set in a fantasy plane allowing you to play as undead, elves(i think if not its somekind of nature force), humans and one other which im lost on if there is a fourth. thats all i can remember.

EDIT i just remembered this not sure if it will help.
the ground where you built as the undead or nature force(elf w/e) would change to dead grass(black grass i think) or lighter grass like the zerg from starcraft universe.
sounds like a warcraft game, though there are others which names escape me. what was it for? Pc, console, handheld?

it was for PC
ah sorry also should have asked if you knew when it came out or around what year you remember playing? trying to narrow down the list :).
ive only played the demo but i think i played it around 2003 i think
EDIT also i do remember you could get hero units that could buy equipment from shops around the map but it wasnt a warcraft game i know that
That sounds a lot like Rising Kingdoms or Heroes of Annihilated Empires, which are both RTS's in Warcraft style. Rising Kingdoms' "undead" faction are called Shades, though you only play as them indirectly as i recall.
thank you it was Heroes of Annihilated Empires

I have two games that have both been driving me crazy. They're both for the PC and were likely released in the 90s.

The first game was a sort of 'realistic' safari game where you'd start in a large house with a museum on the top level. Downstairs you had to find keys and you'd find one by becoming a fly and getting a 'fly view' of the room as it buzzed around. To get to the safari bit you had to leave the house and go to a zebra patterned jeep that would exit through a gate into the africa bit where the animals were. All of it was in first person. The museum bit upstairs had a lot of skeletons of animals fenced off with red rope.

The second game was some kind of educational game set in a spooky castle. It would cover different subjects like english where you had to go across stepping stones that were set in a lake of green acid/goo to reach the other side. The maths subject involved a giant spider web and a spider that tried to get you. The science was like all zoomed out and you were on a magic broomstick, opening chests and things. Art was like, set in a forest and you had to put down stamps/stickers of stuff. I swear to god the name of the main character was like goopy or gloopy and he was a purple/pink dinosaur or something of that sort.

Any help would be appreciated :)

I'm looking for a game, late 90's to early 2000's I'd say.

Played it on a PC.

I only have vague memories and flashes of this one. It was sort of an adventure/sci-fi game. It was a 3rd person game.

One thing I can remember was that you could wield pretty cool weapons, such as a big wooden bat-like pole (maybe it was a sledge), and the strongest memory I have was that there was an event where you would fight a bear near a waterfall (although I could be mistaken about the waterfall but there was a lot of nature around).

But I can also remember guns, such as laser guns. This was such a long time ago and i was probably around 10 back then. Feelin' pretty nostalgic right now, used to play it at my friend's house, thought it was a cool game for its time back then.

Please help with this one!

Hey guys, nice to meet you all.
I had only a demo of this game, so I may not be very precise here.
- This game was a real-time strategy one, sci-fi themed (like Starcraft);
- Your units were (by default) colored blue;
- Your enemies' units were colored green;
- Neutral resources/units (using the word "resources" because one of the demo's maps, one in the snow, had this huge generator) were colored white;
- I can remember 2 maps, one in the snow, other in the desert;
- You had one-time "special" attacks, like an air strike, amongst other things;
* It was a PC game (probably an exclusive).

Thanks in advance, for your help!
Bumping it again. Can anyone remember that one?

Hey guys. I have 3 for you. The first was when I was really young. Maybe mid to late 90's? I remember you had to pick a character and they were set in a circle. I believe all of them were on mounts. One of the characters was named Chaos and one of them was sitting on a white tiger.
The second and third I had together. Probably early 00's. They were like Diablo kind of. One I think took place in Vietnam,the other was darker, with skeletons and crows. I know it's very vague, but I remember having a lot of fun playing them, and would like your help. Thanks!
