Hey I'm having trouble remembering an oldish game me and my mates used to play at lan parties. its a PC game probably came out in 2000-2003 not sure though., from what i can remember its very sandbox style, it had choice to drive cars, trucks, planes, possibly helicopter but not sure on that, it was quite a muck around sort of game with friends. i guess if it reminded me of something it would be ATV vs MX unleashed.

Any help is appreciated!.

Here's one: played it in the 90's on windows 3.11 at best. rpg, top down view. medi-evil fantasy setting (magic and goblins and stuff) plot: a darkness (literally a dark cloud) is slowly consuming the kingdom and the only to stop it is to collect something (i think the crowns) from the 5,6 or 7 seven kings in the world to open a portal in order to confront the sorcerer or whatever it is that is causing the darkness. there is a limited amount of time, because you can't visit a place once the darkness has covered a place. it starts from the south (bottom of the map) where you go first for the first crown. i think it is the dwarf kingdom and i think you go underground. i think it take about 50-75 days for the darkness to cover up until the portal and this game can make that you have to restart the game midway by being caught by the darkness if you didn't plan well.

Hi guys,

Hoping you can help me identify an old game I played as a kid in the early 90's I think. Don't really remember the storyline, but you played as kids who inherited a mansion. There was a robotic cat that was on the fritz that kept chasing a mouse . You could fix the cat if you found some parts for it. The cat would occasionally roam around the screen. It was a puzzle game/point and click. It's possibly a Dos/Win 95 game. Thanks for your help

It was a game where you can play card games and board games like reversi, snakes and ladders, old maid and such with cartoon animals. and they had funny dialogue. Its killing me that i cant remember. There was a monkey you play chess with, a dog to play reversi, and a chicken to play snakes and ladders.

Hi,

Me and my sister are searching for an old rpg game we used to play around late 90's or early 2000. We can't remember much about the story but we think the game started with the main characted founding his home on fire. He founds his mother dead insinde. The main character had red-ish hair.

The gameplay was pretty bloody/gore, you could for example cut the head of chickens and see them running around making a bloody mess.

The story was pretty dark, but with lot's of humour as well. The setting was medieval but including magic n stuff.

Can't really remember much more, the games name might have been the main characters name..

Thanks!

Hi All
sorry if this is not the right place for this question, I just would like to ask if some of you know the name of an old windows game (probably windows 3.1 or 95 or even DOS) featuring what would have been a 'caterpillar' (at least I think) which was represented by a $ sign. Its name was (probably) Jimmy. The game had many levels, a blue background with floors, walls, enemies (rolling balls) and the caterpillar (controlled by the user) all in white. The caterpillar could just run and jump, and I think you had to collect something to pass the level, not even sure about that. If anybody knows the name of it or has some hints about it it would be nice.
Thank you

I am looking for a PC RPG with isometric view. I think the game is about 10-15 years old.

This is what I remembered from the game:

1. The main hero has an ability to travel between two worlds: a real one and a spirit/shadow world. When you enter the spirit world monsters from the real world dissapear. But in the spirit world you can run into spirit monsters. In rare case a monster would present in both worlds (it might be a boss?).

2. The unique feature of this game is obtaining skills from equipment. Every piece of equipment (armor, wands, swords, etc) has a hidden appropriate skill you need to discover through using this equipment. For example, firing a fire wand occasionally will discover a fire-based skill. A mob slain in the spirit world may drop a spirit essence that help progress in discovering these skills.

3. Once you have discovered some passive skills, you need to meditate (sleep by the campfire?) and choose what skills you will be using. At low levels you are restricted by number 1-2 and up to 8-10 in a high-end game.

Can anyone recall the name of this game?

Hi, there is an old game that I really wanted to re-play but I can't remember the name, I couldn't finish it last time.

-PC games, adventure/puzzle, third person camera view, cartoon graphic.
-I played it around year 2000-2002, but the game could be older.

I only remember that you played as a male character, travel town to town, killing monsters and do some puzzle quests in town and also outside of town. I remember one of your gadget is a timer bomb that you can use unlimitedly, the bomb will help you blow off some walls in the cave when you travel between towns. Every towns got a few puzzle quests that you need to solve - I remember that in one of the town you need to rescue a cat that stuck on a high place, and you need to put certain liquid into soup pot and take it to a guard to put him asleep. Every quest related things will have a sparkling light on it to hint you.

If anyone know this game name I would really appreciate it.
btw, I had found the game I looking for, it is Technomage

I remember playing a demo of a game when I was a kid, like more than 10 years ago. I think it was on PC. The game was, I think a RPG and it was in 3D, but instead of people there were balls of different colour. I think you played a green ball or something. I dont remember much detail, but I think one ball wore a cowboy hat and had a shotgun. The combat was as I remember turn based and you could move on like a grid or something or attack. Maybe the title had the word world in it, but Im not sure. Can anyone remember a game like that? Thanks in advance.

Years ago (90s/early 00s) I played a demo for a game where you could combine DNA of different animals, it had a kind of RTS/tycoon feel to it and I think the ingame environment was tropical, may have been dark though. The demo I played came bundled with a demo for Age of Mythology and a tycoon game though I doubt that will help you much. Being a demo a lot of features and options were locked out so I can only describe the bare minimum - sorry.

Also, I have one of those old Eidos mini catalogues and it mentions a game named 'Plague', apparently by Asylum Studios, which is a kingdom management game set in ye olde medieval times. It claims to be "the first to use true 3D terrain". I can't seem to find any information on it (although this may just be me being inept). Did it get cancelled? Released? How was it?

Hello :D I remember asking of a PC game here some time ago and I have no idea if I ever thanked any of you properly for helping me. In case I didn't...well obviously thanks a lot for finding my game.

Now once again I can't find a thing I used to play as a kid. I think it was around 2005? In any case after 2000.

It was a PC game that was both multiplayer and single player. The characters you played with were wolves (or hounds or whatever) and you had to kill some creatures -as far as I can remember- before dawn.

The gameplay was 2D and the screen was basically split into 2 areas, upper one being pretty small and that's also where the creatures came from. And you could see the moon hanging over there. The lower one occupied most of the screen and was underground. That's where you basically jumped, killed stuff etc.

I'm not sure but the game could've included chapters??

Hello, There is a game i have been trying to find for years now. It was maybe 16 years ago i played it. I had it on a burned CD together with some other games, it wasnt new back then either so im not sure when it was made.

You were playing as 3 characters all male. They all had different colors i think. You started off in a small town.
You could kill innocent ppl if you wanted too. One of the characters were melee, or if everyone was, might have been a mage and a hunter too, not sure. I think it might be mid 90s The camrea view was from above where you controlled the characters with the mouse. It looks pretty similar to fallout 1 camera/gameplay etc. Not apocalyptic ofc or gloomy, more like alot of bright colors. The graphics was similar to Warcraft 1. Not sure what the purpose was in the game or anything, the usual questing etc.

Please if someone knows which game this is, you got to tell me!
