Please, help me! This been killing me, I can't figure out what game was it!
So, there whas this SNES game I played when I was 7 years old, it's a sidescroller, where basically you are a guy who has to shoot aliens
I can't remember if it was to save Earth, or it was in some other planet. Maybe both.
What I can recall best is this level, where you entered a place like some tunnels/sewer, and there were fans blowing air out of the place, that could suck you, and kill you. At the end of this level, you destroy something/place a bomb and you need to go back all the way to escape the place before it explodes.
Other than that, I remember the soundtrack was very cool, there was a level with snow, and, if I'm not mistaken, I managed to finish the game, and there was some drawing of Eath, or another planet that you freed (or destroyed, lol)
Hope you guys can help me, I really loved this game, I wish I could play it again, but no matter how hard I try I can't remember it's name.

Hi guys! First post!

This is driving me batty.

A) I'm thinking of a game that's about 15-18 years old and played on a PC
B) Turn Based
C) Evolve a civilization from being archaic to extremely advanced - particularly I remember evolving some pretty wacky technology.
D)) It was a top down view
E) It had a campaign function but also had a head to head multiplayer as I remember playing my brother countless times on it.
F) Was not Civilization or Age of Empires.

I am trying to remember an old PC game, 90s I think.

It was something like civilization but not turn based. You trained archers and other units. You farmed for resources, I think it was like pumpkin type food you grew then the farmer collected it. There was a map you explored which started out black at first.

It was set in historic times as I dont think there was any guns.

I think the archer was dressed in black and units said little comments when you controlled them to move etc.

Hi guys!

I really need some help right now its been on my mind for a long time, wondering whats the name of "THAT" game.

Here's the things i can only remember.

Played it on PC
2D fighting/arcade/scrolling(left to right) game
1 or 2 players
fights people/zombies/vampires/robots from the future
can get stronger when buying foods at the local restaurants
lifts tires/barrels/people and throw them

and lastly the cover of the game is kinda like a picture of bunch of people with their eyes covered with black " X " marks.

That's all i can remember so far.

Hello, I think in here I would have a higher chances of finding the game I want, anyways here's what I remember,
The graphics were good and I think its either sega/ps 1game (as far as I recall the graphics were nice so I highly think its ps1 game, but there's a chance with sega, anyways you start in a castle and when you start the game inside the castle a purple ghost appears and talks to you then he laughs and disappear, and I think he's the first boss, and the game play looks like rpg style...but iam not sure of it, but its like you have to walk in the map and fight couple of characters before you get to the purple ghost, and I remember there was some luck factor in rolling dice or something, anyways the ghost looks like the purple ghost in pokemon named (gengara), thanks <3

6) You can only fly to the right and left.

That unfortunately describes a rather large genre of shooter games. Do you remember any details? Raiden or Silpheed come to mind offhand.

I dont remember much but you can play only on the bottom of the game and fly to the left or right.
I got this game on CD and i play it between years 2000-2008.
I can try to paint i for you all I remember.

I've been looking for this online flash game for a while. You played as a little white blobthing and you had to trick homing missiles into shooting at certain points by teleporting around. You could hold down the teleport button to activate sort of a bullet time effect.

Hi, I might sound a little vague but, here I go.

This game was a NES game, not sure if a famycom hack or what. Known facts: this was a game completely in japanese. All kenjis all over the menus. The main character was a little dragon alike character (all white) and you should think in... Shy ghosts from super mario bros meets kirby. (But, it was white). The game mecanics was to defeat enemies, with a tail hit (similar to the one that the blue dragon in Islander games gave). The enemies dropped something (not sure if coins, white orbs or what). LAter on, with those orbs, the Character was able to BUY skills. One of the skills i'm positively sure it was the flying skill. While using this skill, the character simply moved its little tiny wings and moved in an horizontal straight line. Also, while doing this, he plucked its tiny tongue out of its mouth, as if it were a smiley.

There was food (japanese food) all over the screen, and i'm 100% sure, the game is not "Chery cherub".

The game was more like an rpg game, the difficulty was insane and this game is driving me nuts! please help!

I'm searching for an old game, I remember playing it on PC.
It was a puzzle-solving game, I think it was a black and white scenario (something similar to LIMBO game). In this game you had to play with 3 characters to solve puzzles, but you had to use each one separately, I think each one had an unique ability and it was necessary to use them like team, so in the end it was necessary to use all 3 to solve the problem. One character was a girl, the other two were a fat man that had a shield and a thin man.
Any ideas?

First post everyone and I unfortunately don't have the most information to help describe this game. I'm dying to know what the name is!

What I remember is the time is somewhere between 1990-1992 (probably '91) and playing this arcade game for hours. Coin operated, side scroller I'd say, but with some downward scrolling too. I was playing co-op with a friend and we kept playing to try and get farther in the game.

The them was aliens, I think, but not in space, it was almost like you were in their lair. It was a great game but I can't remember it for the life of me. If anyone as any ideas that would be great.

Ok so the first recollection is of a game a preview I saw on TV of a -- atleast what i recall -- PC game from either 2005 or 2006... my guess is that it was 2005... well in the preview first i think you see a big house in a remote area (i remember it being on top of a mountaing or hill maybe) like a castle... sp inside we see a photo frame with 2 people in it. Then an old bearded guy (not a long beard just a regular silver beard) writing on some kind of paper with those feather pens. Now you'd think that the game is set somewhere in the past but then there is a scene in which (maybe?) you're in a helicopter and its first person. the camera than turns to a little girl (elevenish maybe? she was not a teen but wasn't very young) seated next to you smiling and maybe wearing a bagpack?... ok so first you're flying and the last scene is again as if a gameplay preview in which the first person camera looks around in an open area with daylight and i think the girl is somewhere there too... this is where im drawing a blank... i'm fascinated by this game as back then i though its graphics were great but i was 8 years old and didn't how to google and obviously my memory was weak... I really need to know this game and i bet someone some day might tel me the name... hopefully this forum will help...
Onto the second one... I feel like this game is very niche market kinda game cuz i dont even remember how i got it but it was on a cd... ok this one is simple... the game is about animals... you are a horse... the camera is similar to WarCraft 3 meaning its kinda top down view... ok so you have this horse who i believe was controlled by your mouse + keyboard and you have to complete several quests and missions... its kinda open world meaning you could go anywhere (and pick up gems maybe?) then there is a mission in which you have to save this girl horse by getting her some water or gems or some weird thing i dont know... i played this game lord knows how long ago i dont even remember how old i was... i hope you guys understood that cuz i wrote this in a hurry(im just excited/anxious)
In addition... I may be WAY off on details about what I wrote above so if you know about a SIMILAR game don't hesitate to tell me as its possible i might have subconsciously added things in my memory that weren't really there....
