Hi, i can't remember the name of an old Star Wars FPS. I played it on pc, i checked on numerous wiki, but none of the one listed seems the right one. Here's the list of the things i remember:
- The first mission started outside a enemy base; you have to go inside and everything is around some sort of liquid tank you have to fill
- I remember a weapon soon available, a sort of laser missile launcher, which you could take from one of the first enemies.

I know that's not much, but i was a child and it was a demo...

Thanks a lot for the help!

Hi everyone, I've been trying to remember these old games for 10 years or more, they're driving me crazy!

The games were from the early 1990's I think. All PC games. I'll try to describe them as accurately as I can.

The first was a third person game where you played as a female in some dingy underground mines. The camera was top-down but not directly above the character. I only remember one 'cutscene' from the game and it's where a dwarf looking man calls the female character by the name "Cookie nose". I wish I remembered more. Graphics were 3Dish, it wasn't a side scrolling game.

The second was a flying shooter game, where the screen scrolls from right to left. Completely 2D. You fly what seemed to be a small hot air balloon/blimp and you could pick up upgrades for your balloon. You'd fight a majority of enemies flying planes and other giant blimps. G

The third game was like a sciencey educational game, where the instructions were given to the player by a scientist/professor. The game was about playing with physics items in an empty box. You can select bowling balls, ramps, people, animals (alligators and fishtanks being the most memorable) and place them in this 2D sandbox area.

Hope this ignites a spark with someone. Thanks!

Hi let me try again with this one.

I'm looking for an old arcade game. I remember playing it in the early to mid 90's on coin-op machine.
It was a side scroller where character walks and can jump and hit boxes with his head for bonuses (It is not Mario please calm).
He could fight the enemies by shooting them and trapping them in bubbles. You have to jump on the bubbles to finish them or to reach higher places in the level.
I remember that in the very first level you had to trap several enemies and jump on the bubbles they are in forming kind of bubble ladder, in order to climb kind of pyramid with boxes in order to reach some reward on top. The reward may have been a star of some sort but I'm not sure. Probably giving extra life of weapon I don't remember.

Thanks

The second had two girls, shows a cutscene of a struggle of one of the girls to someone give this girl was kidnapped or disappeared, you control the other girl and had to find her friend, i think this girl had spells and the girl wore skirt.

Sry bad english.

There was this game that my dad had back in the mid-90s on our Apple computer. I don't remember too much about it, but I remember walking around a dark, futuristic looking city in the beginning and you could walk into the buildings and one of the buildings was a bar with a female alien dancing on a table? in it. I think there might have been flying cars above you in the city too? It was a first person view and I'm pretty sure it was point and click. Sorry I don't remember more about it. Anyone have any ideas?
Bump. I REALLY need to figure this out. Can anyone help?
Somehow reminds me the Sierra Cyberpunk:

Rise Of The Dragon (1991)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKpkkQH6ZT4

except that it's not an alien girl it's a normal girl...anyway check it out.
Thanks, but this wasn't it. The game I'm thinking of was from later and had better graphics.

May be it is "Of light and darkness: The prophecy"

http://www.adventurelantern.com/reviews/olad/oflightdarkness.htm
I think the gameplay was similar to this, but I think the game I'm thinking of was a couple years earlier

Had a game in my mind for awhile now, back from the Crusader, Syndicate and original XCOM era I believe (90's)

It was a sci-fi top down, you controlled a squad of 4, I think your characters included amphibian-like humanoids and other creatures. They wore yellow space armour. It was 2D, not 100% top down but not quite isometric. Similar games include: Alien Infestation, Gender Wars, Abonimation Nemesis Project.

I'll see if I can remember more, hope someone can help me with this it's been killing me for years, thanks!

3rd game might be "The Incredible Machine". I played the first one a lot as a kid, later iterations featured the scientist more prominently. Ridiculously fun, addictive game just to play with the physics side of it.

Im looking for this game which i use to play on the PC:

It had 2 brothers - a red prince and a blue prince. You would travel a map playing mini games, like mancala and battleship featuring fish ("You sunk my mackerel!"). Any leads to a title would be most appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello! i saw all the posts and was hoping someone could help me too. There is one game I remember from when I was really young and my dad would load it on the computer. i believe the game was called "Billy Blaze" or something like that and what little I remember was like a very pixelated side scroller with enemies, for some reason I want to say 'toxic' enemies but of course these are very faint memories. If anyone knows of the game is there any way I could download it off of somewhere or will it not run? Thanks!

Second, this game I also have very faint memories of and do not remember the title. It was a platformer consisting of levels all across the united states in certain cities like New Orleans, Las Vegas, new York City, etc. i remember the enemy in the Las Vegas city stage was this green guy with a mustache (maybe?), definitely green though. And the New Orleans city stage had some kind of boss with a floating skull with trippy eyes (flashes of colour). If anyone knows the name of this game, whee I can get it, download it, whatever I would be so so appreciative!!! Thanks!!
The first one is Commander Keen: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commander_Keen
Thanks again! someone please please help with the second game. I spoke to my dad and he is sure that the title ended with "Across America" but he cannot remember the first part and I have looked online only to find arching games fitting the title description. PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you know of course. and thanks for the help so far!!!

A reeeeeeally hard-to-find game!!
This is a 2d spaceship game that I played about 7-8 years ago, a player will control a spaceship (a light blue one) to go around the space and shoot asteroids to collect minerals (purple, yellow, green...) and bring it back to the mothership in order to upgrade the spaceship/mothership.
In the journey, player may encounter the enemy's spaceships (usually appear with a red dot in the minimap), player can destroy those spaceship or just run in to the mothership and flee...
I think the R or E key on the keyboard is to collect minerals and suck things...

These are what I can remember left, I've been looking for it but I just can't remember its name,... can you guys help me out?
Sorry for my bad grammar..

hello , ive been trying to remember the name of this game , its a ps1 game where the character is a a micro size red bird or duck and 1 of the levels within the game was falling into a sink , and you basically go through levels to complete it etc etc , it had like cartoony theme to it i remember it had one level where you climb a large tree through the clouds.

i hope someone knows the name. :p
