hey guys,
i'm looking for an old (mid 90' to early 2000' ) action RPG that i played on pc, here is what i (think i) remember:
* not turn based.
* european medieval setting (?).
* main enemy type i can remember where black/ very dark blue cockroach like creatures.
* i think the main character's (guy) name was in the title of the game and was quite mundane (something like bryan or brad or something).
* i recall a specific incident where i had to kill a number of chickens (burn them alive perhaps) and then a giant chicken (possibly fire breathing) appeared that i had to kill.
* top down with a bit of an angle.

I really hope this rings a bell.
thanks in advance!

I've got quite a difficult one because I can only remember a few things about it. It was a PC game and there were three characters you could choose from. One was a warrior type guy, another was some kind of mage, and the other was a woman. There was a boss in it that I think was called Smite but I'm not sure. You couldn't kill him at first and just had to run away when he showed up. The details I can remember are vague and might not be accurate so I don't have high hopes for an answer but any help would be appreciated.

Ok, these ones have been bugging me on and off for years. I've commented on a few forums like this one but have had no luck.

Literally all I can remember is what I think was the foyer of a building. You have to run in from outside and there are monsters/aliens attacking you; can't remember which.
I was only young, and I only ever made it to the elevator in this foyer. I would get in and try to close the doors/press buttons/do anything, but every time I got that far I would die because an enemy jumped down from the top of the elevator and killed me. I do remember quite a bit of blood.

I'm fairly certain it was a FPS. It was the late 90s when I played it. It was on an IBM computer.

From memory, the game came with the computer along with Battle Zone and another game which I remember even less about, except that I'm fairly certain it was in space and the front cover of the CD (or possible the opening title of the game itself, not sure) featured a cavern/cave of some sort with a narrow path against the cave wall with blackness in the middle. I think there was like 3 or 4 characters on this screen.

Any ideas?
mmm...somehow it looks like

HacX (1997)

but, I really don't think so as it is a DOS game..and looks like you're looking for a Windows game..to make things worse it is an add-on of DOOM II and I think that you would remember that..anyway check it out.

Hey all. I dont know if this has been answered before, i apologise if it has, but ive been trying to remember a game, it was either on the ps1 or ps2. All i remember from it is that it involves an old (ish) man with a tall top hat, a big book which was used to attack enemies, one of the levels (possibly the first) you were on top of a moving train, the npc's you encounter dont have voice actors but instead grunt whilst the text appears and it was an rpg. Sorry if its a bit vague

Hey guys! I always find my way here through googling old games so I figured I might give it a shot and post them here.

1. I remember playing a game ten or so years ago on the pc, it has some sort of a main game screen with a bunch of little windows of mini-games to click and play. There was one with gems and a fridge that I remember in particular? There were a lot of songs in it in a bunch of different languages and lyrics (including "head, shoulders knees and toes" and something about zebras), and when you finished the game you could go to the circus.

2. It was a set of games, I remember playing on my win xp or 95 and having them all in the same folder in start. They MIGHT have had "microsoft" in the name. I think all games had four levels and there was a game with ants and then one with sharks or other underwater creatures.

Thanks in advance. (I love this thread because everyone sounds ridiculous while trying to describe an old game memory, it hits close to home.)

Hi :)
I´m very long time looking for one game so I decided that I write here maybe someone will know. It´s a game like Command and Conquer, it was an older game. I think till about 2006. It was a bit of a 3D view but it was like from the corner, there were also tanks, robots, turrets (machine gun, flamethrower, and others) and bombers. I know that there were features such as the bomber that flew through the map and destroy the enemy's units. Or something like a helicopter, it consisted of three rings that have sent down fire rings.

Hi all!

I'm looking for a game from maybe 1995-1997 which I played on a shareware cd so I don't played the full version.
You were play as a blonde guy with a really big and ridiculous head and he had a purple skateboard kinda thing if I remember right. After the game started you were spinning through space towards a planet and you could control where
you land. Once you land you had to do a random minigame like moving towards a place and avoiding some hazardous plants
which would eat you. After you won the minigame you get to some kind of ancient city and the demo was over and you could restart the game. I hope somebody will remember this game.

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english :)

I remember watching two friends playing a fighting game once when I was a little kid.

It was a typical 2d fighting game, seemed to be polygons, not pixels, and although I dont remember what system it ran on I do recall some very unique things.

There was one character that would crawl on the ground like a cockroach and looked kind of like a corpse (my friends jokingly called him bug-man) I also remember a stage where you would fall through the air at high speeds and you could grab an umbrella to slow your descent.

I also remember one stage where the characters where fighting on some kind of gigantic table and there was a huge (zombie?) man who was trying to eat and would stab at you with a fork and drink water (or wine?) and spit it at you. He may have been a stage hazard, or maybe even the final boss.

The game was really strange so it was probably Japanese, but I cant locate the particular game. Please respond if you know what Im talking about!

I am looking for an old PC game I used to play. You are like a small helicopter shaped like a ball and you fly over a sqare map filling the area with wall, you have limited time as I remember you can collect something to gain time. There were also some bombs that you had to avoid. Thanks I hope you guys know the name of it.

I have this game. It's pixelated and has a set up kind of like final fantasy. Your from another world and you have a tail. You don't have any memories of your old life. I remember it saying stars or something like that in the title. I played it on a psp but it was emulated. Please help me!

It doesn't really have Star in the name I remembered that at some point, you did go to space. I only THINK it was emulated it was about 5-6 years ago when I played it. It's like a sandbox where the map is like zelda kinda...

PLEASE HELP ME! I CAN'T SLEEP!

Reposting this! Someone think they can help?
It wasn't?

Arc The Lad II

The plot is identical, but the character doesn't has a tail, he has a headband...
Thanks for trying. This isn't it though.

It's for PC, its a POV point-and-click adventure game, and it starts out with you greeted by a talking bat that leads you to some gypsy's wagon-house-thing. and throughout the rest of the game is simple puzzles and stuff (one of which involves a giant spiderweb, which is the most i remember)
Was the antagonist some sorcerer who had devil horn eyebrows? Did the bat get turned to stone at one point? I think you had to change him back by using lightning or some crap? Dunno, it was one of two puzzles and I chose door number two instead. My puzzle involved like, iunno, ants and shit or something. A puzzle where a dragon is guard a bridge and you have to click a bell to change the shape of you and the dragon, and then throw a net over it? A puzzle at the end of the game that involves purple sand and levers, and maybe hourglasses. First person perspective. Fantasy themed with magic and wizards and dragons and stuff. You get 3 jokers which give you the solution to a puzzle if you get stuck.

This is the very first adventure game I can remember playing. Have always wanted to play it again.
Holy shit, I found what I was looking for. After 22 long years I've finally found it again. Ween The Prophecy.

Hello.

I was looking for a 3D side scroll game, it reminds me a lot of this new game Trine. I remember the video game had two characters - a wizard and a young man dressed in a sort of a jester/fool costume. It might've been a console port to PC, but I remember playing it on PC, the controls however were awful. I think it was released around 2000-2003 or something.

I have one game that I played on DOS but I don't know the name of it. It's a Super Mario-like game, the character is a fat guy with a cup. The peak of the cup is backward.
I can hit the space to control my character can throw something from his pants pocket to attack the enemy, in Stage 1 it's a purple shell or something like that. If hold the space for a longer time and release, he can throw out a bigger and more powerful shell.
Another feature is that the character can ride a bike sometime. He then can rush for a long way and knock down all enemies on this way.
