I'ts a NES Game. I think it has multiple genres, space themed maybe. I remember the first few stages.
Stage 1: It's like a sidescroller where you control some kind of ship. Maybe a non-flyer ship like StarFox's landmaster.
Stage 2: It's like a first person shooter. You control the aim and a boss appears, I remember a huge tentacle (or tail) hitting "the camera".
Stage 3: It's a sidescroller platform. You control a heroine, you can walk and jump, get powerups, etc.
Please help.

I was really having a bad time trying to find this game, that I had to create an account to post here and ask for help, however, I managed to get the answer myself. The game in question is Wurm: Journey to the Center of the Earth. Thanks anyway!

Hi hi!
It's Windows 98 game... Me and my mom used to play (I was about 4, 5 years old) it but we can't remember the name! :(
Its a dig game, where you can dig (duh) and find emeralds. There is a blue monster who turns you into a stone if you let him get close to you. If a stone falls in your head, you turn into stone and die (there is a RIP plate with roses and everything when you die);

You need to get all the emeralds to pass level, and when you pass, there are passwords you can use to go back and try again when you die.

Later in game there are fireballs that turns you into a stone (again xD), and also, you can use dynamites!

You are a miner, as I remember blue and red clothes...

Can you guys pleeease help us remember? :( I'm desperate haha

Hi all ? I am hoping someone can help me with the name of this game.

It is a shareware/freeware space combat simulator (non-first-person) on the MacOS from the 1990s. I remember playing it in 1996-1999 on a Mac but it was already kind of old at that point.

What I played was actually a modified "Star Wars" version of this game, although it was unlicensed. You could fly the Millennium Falcon, Firespray (aka Slave I) and other ships. The graphics and interface were very basic. You start with a basic ship (Z-95 headhunter, maybe?) and trade up as you win battles, earn $, etc. Eventually, you make contact with the Rebellion and the final stage of the game is going up against the Death Star.

I can answer more questions if needed.

Like I said, the Star Wars version was an unlicensed modification to the original game, so the original game would not have had the "Star Wars" name. But I'm thinking it probably still had the word "Space" or "Star" in the title.

Any ideas?

I'm looking for a game - quite obviously :p

I can't remember too much about it, but I played it in like 2007-2008. I believe that it was a flashgame, and you played as this sort of character, and the game had a sort of Chinese theme to it. The character that you played seemed to be some kind of shapeshifter, and at points you would become like a dragon or something like that. It had a really nice sort of trance-chill background song.

I would be so grateful if anyone could tell me of the game name.

I have one game that I played on DOS but I don't know the name of it. It's a Super Mario-like game, the character is a fat guy with a cup. The peak of the cup is backward.
I can hit the space to control my character can throw something from his pants pocket to attack the enemy, in Stage 1 it's a purple shell or something like that. If hold the space for a longer time and release, he can throw out a bigger and more powerful shell.
Another feature is that the character can ride a bike sometime. He then can rush for a long way and knock down all enemies on this way.
Well, I've found it, it's "Magic Pockets" released in 1991 by Bitmap Brothers. Here is the wiki link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Pockets

Hi there - I need help with this!!!!!

I remember playing an old PC Game with a British (?) explorer dressed possibly in Colonial/typical archaeologist gear (Grey costume, large belt, shorts, brown boots, etc.) which involved point and click puzzles based around ancient civilizations - there was a Mayan/Aztec puzzle wheel of some type, an ancient Roman/Greek part and possibly a Japanese/Chinese area, though I'm not sure. At some point, I remember that there was a camel which spat at you if you clicked it, and the explorer would cry "I SAY!" in a Received Pronunciation accent. not sure what it was called, but I'm fairly sure it was a PC game. Thanks!
Pitfall?
(I'm posting with my own account, not a friend's, now)

I checked oit pitfall - not the game I remember, as Pitfall is a side scroller, and thr explorer was an older gentleman. Thanks, though :)

Hi all!

I'm looking for a game from maybe 1995-1997 which I played on a shareware cd so I don't played the full version.
You were play as a blonde guy with a really big and ridiculous head and he had a purple skateboard kinda thing if I remember right. After the game started you were spinning through space towards a planet and you could control where
you land. Once you land you had to do a random minigame like moving towards a place and avoiding some hazardous plants
which would eat you. After you won the minigame you get to some kind of ancient city and the demo was over and you could restart the game. I hope somebody will remember this game.

Hello everyone, I seriously can't deal with not remembering this game anymore so this is kinda my last hope.

I only have vague description, but I have some hopes yet that someone here will remember any clue that'll help: It was some kind of adventure graphic game, like carmen san diego. For what I remember, it was like 1st person but I think you never got to know your character tho you actually interact with people. Game is mostly based around kids, I think it was a kids game since I played it when I was 10 years old or so. The game had different missions where you travelled around the world, china for example, and before each travel you had the same stage where you hop on the plane, a commercial flight plane. The one for China for example had some stars, and distinctive symbols from the country.

I remember also that after all those missions you came back to the very first level but find out that things have gone to shit and you have to fix that, I remember it was kinda creepy, at least for a 10 year old boy, some kids were robots, and I think it was because they were like "kidnapped" or something like that and you had to get them out.

I wish I had at least one picture of the game, can't even remember characters, words or anything like that. Maybe someone with a graphic adventure games for kids list would help.

Hi all, looking for help remembering a detective game, latest possible release would be 2003.

From what I can recall, the game features a list of cases which involve going around a city talking to people, recording statements and collecting clues. Each location for a case was marked on a map and clicking them would take you to a scene or location, and new locations would open up. The game was definitely for everyone and I think the detectives are teens or kids, so no horror or adult themes. I believe when you've gathered enough clues and statements the game will tell you you are ready to solve the case, but you still have to put two and two together. Again, instead of one long mystery it was more of an everyday case solving game in everyday life, with many cases to solve.

Also, weirdly enough I can recall one specific case about a dog whistle, though not much else I remember.

Hopefully someone can remember this game!

All the Best,

-SuperSurferIII

Ok, I was born in 1996 so it's from late 90s or early 2000s. It was a kids educational game and I remember there were facts on bugs and where bugs are from (like earwigs in Washington). I can't remember much else for the life of me but I know I used to love that game. Help?

There was this game I played back in the 90s, early 2000s I NEED HELP im going crazy trying to google it. Okay so all I remember is the front of the cd package itself had some sort of stones, with characters (Chinese, zodiac), some type of symbols. There was one part in the game where a man would run/go crazy when some event occurred, and then the game would show a wolf running by while it was happening, then the screen would white out or restart the level and that all I remember. I think there was some sort of Asian melody when something would occur. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Sounds like Eagle Eye Mysteries or Eye Eye Mysteries London, played a lot as a kid, although it's a lot older than 2004.

Ok, this one will be hard. I'll even try drawing some of the things I remember...

This is flash (or was it java?) game I played on PC bazillion years ago (in the 90s, most probably. Maybe early 2000s). I used to play it with my little brother.

The game featured soldiers fighting aliens (monsters? spiders?) from a top down perspective (somewhat like bomberman).

When I played with my brother, each of us controlled a soldier and there were hordes of enemies spawning everywhere from the corners of the map. We had a bunch of allied NPC soldiers in our team as well. Our soldiers had a very "anime" feel to their portrayal as well.

You did not get to navigate outside the initial screen - it was kind of "defend yourself until you die" maps.

One thing we remember -very clearly- was that were some kind of power ups that allowed for "air strikes" and "reinforcements" and such. There would be resounding voice saying "AIR STRIKE THROUGH!" or "GROUND SUPPORT!" or "REINFORCEMENTS!". I think that those reinforcements came from APCs in the top of the screen (running over enemies in their path...).

You could also pick up weapons like flamethrowers.

Hi All!

This has bothered me for a really long time!
The game I can't remember I played on PC with my cousin, I believe it was in the early 2000s, all I can remember is you had to save kids who were locked in cages from some sort of monsters, I know that's very little detail but it's all I can remember, please help!

Hi let me try again with this one.

I'm looking for an old arcade game. I remember playing it in the early to mid 90's on coin-op machine.
It was a side scroller where character walks and can jump and hit boxes with his head for bonuses (It is not Mario please calm).
He could fight the enemies by shooting them and trapping them in bubbles. You have to jump on the bubbles to finish them or to reach higher places in the level.
I remember that in the very first level you had to trap several enemies and jump on the bubbles they are in forming kind of bubble ladder, in order to climb kind of pyramid with boxes in order to reach some reward on top. The reward may have been a star of some sort but I'm not sure. Probably giving extra life of weapon I don't remember.

Thanks
Here is one additional detail that may move some brain cells here and there.
I remember that the first boss was about a screen size tall. Eventually my memory may be doing tricks and the boss to be half screen tall but in any case the main character feels really tiny compared to that thing.

Thanks.

Hello, the game im looking for is a FPS pretty old, think it might be dated 2000 or something, I remember playing it on my first computer, I remember a mission where you started off in a black rubber boat together with a couple other friendly npcs, and you had nightvision on, but what I really remember is the missions you could start, and one was in egypt, and you had to clear many enemies outside with a sniper and then enter the sphinx and pyramids to locate the targets. I also remember you could shoot birds flying.

there was also a mission in snowy landscape, where you assaulted a base.

It was a gamespy game, that is pretty much all I remember.
