Here's a tough one, it may have already been answered in the last 500 pages or so.
I think it was Windows 98 (Definitely in the region of post-year 2000)

You played top-down as a car or vehicle in a grey landscape. There were pipes over sludgey water and giant domes, one of them having a hole you could fall through and get inside. Pretty sure you could jump around, too. I think you can to get this odd larva thing, putting it in a diablo-style inventory that was all hexagonal in shape. I think the bigger cars had bigger inventories. Pretty sure there were weapons you could get, too.

It's awkward because I can remember screenshots in my head, and such like that, but the name never really stuck around.

...I think there was a weird insect shopkeeper or something, too.

If you try and figure it out, thanks!

This game is impossible to find...

Platform(s): PC (Not sure on consoles)

Genre: Fantasy RTS

Estimated year of release: somewhere between 2000 - 2006

Graphics/art style: Warcraft like, armies of exigo, warlords battlecry, dark fantasy, mystic soundtracks

Notable characters: Armored horseriders and red demon bosses

Notable gameplay mechanics: Warcraft like (a mix of armies of exigo and warlords: battlecry 2)

Other details: (Only tried the demo version) It started like this, you control a captain / soldier and need to find your way to the fort/castle. When you arrive at the fort , where you could produce troops and build towers etc. you were constantly getting attacked by demon creatures which you have to keep in check with two of your towers protected by walls on each side. The unit production goes very slow, so you have to wait for reinforcements. After some time a large army of armored white-looking horse riders arrive and the horserider captain gives a dialogue bfore you sweep over the demons camp and the victory is yours, for this map. I 've been looking for this game for months and cant even find a clue.... Please, i would even pay the person who finds this game for me!
this kind of games are always very hard to find as they are many and all look very similar...the only game that comes to mind is

Black Moon Chronicles (1999)

http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/black-moon-chronicles

and just because I remember to have seen in a magazine (which I couldn't find it in my messy room) some white horses and red demons! check it out, but I feel it might be a newer game...

Ok guys, here's one. It was for the PS1 I remember you were walking around in a school. I think you were maybe trying not to get caught? for some strange reason I think it involved Looney Tunes, but I've already looked up all Looney Tunes games for the PS1.
Quoted so people will see
I do believe the game you're referencing is Tiny Toon Adventures: Plucky's Big Adventure for PS1.

Would appreciate a lot if you could help me out!

1.PC Side scrolling (i think shareware) platformer game, before the year 1999. You are a generic blue mouth with legs (like pacman but rectangular, and with legs), and you have a family that looks exactly the same except with hair. I remember there being a treetop level where you fight lumberjacks. The game starts with your house burning down.

2. Top down adventure game like the first legend of zelda, also shareware PC i believe pre-1999. You are a dwarf and you can upgrade your weapon, and collect magic items.

Thanks agayn

This might be a tough one.

It was on a grey grid, you had a ball that would move straight but you could turn it with bumpers. It showed you the starting and finishing place and you have to use obstacles to get the ball from start to finish

The pinball recall game on luminosity is most similar visually, but game play is different.

If anyone gets it, thanks in advance!

Losing my mind trying to remember the name of this old computer game I played when I was about 9 or 10. If anyone can help, you'll save me my sanity.

Here's what I know:
A game from the 1990's, point-and-click adventure with puzzles and a minimalist cartoony artstyle (think sharp edges, characters look like they were cut from construction paper, etc.). You play a young kid (15 or so?) who gets in trouble with a criminal organization and spends the game trying to infiltrate said organization (to find a kidnapped relative or something). At points in the game, you have to answer questions from a guard to get in a building/HQ, you find a giant excavation machine with a drill, and you have to fix it by rearranging the gears on it and sorting chemical compounds to power the battery. You also have to choose which color of laser will be best for tracking footprints in the tunnels ahead.

Thanks in advance
More information: The Criminal Organisation might be called the Syndicate?

Would anyone know this game? It had RPG elements and you could have 3 things fight for you when you got into a battle the battle being turn based (believe it was 3) one of the starting things was something that looked like a pink robot and you could also get a train to fight for you etc etc, I don't remember the story but I kind of remember that at one point there was a building or a lighthouse or something where there were aliens. It was for the gameboy advanced as it had color. And the terrain was different as you went to different places but again really awkward description but about all I could remember about it the thing I remember most being the train :< anyways this has plagued me for 10 years or so now so help me <3

EDIT : After many years, I finally found it thanks to some intense researches. It was Total annihilation : Kingdoms, for the information.

Greetings everyone,

Quite an amazing topic, here, and I, as many players before me, need your help to find a game that I played a long time ago, and from which I don't remember much.

It was an obscure RTS game, I think I had the demo only, since I only had two "heroes".

The graphisms were similar to Diablo II, with a grim universe and dead trees all around. I think that we could actually destroy those trees, but they didn't grant any resources. The resource was another system, maybe some kind of mana to summon the units.

The first hero was a mage in red dress and with a white beard (I think), his element was fire. In addition to the regular troups like the arbalest towers, he could summon some kind of gargoyle, or bat, to act as a scout. He could maybe summon other kind of demons, also.

The second hero was a woman in blue, with the water element, she could summon the regular troups as well, but I think that her scout was actually a bird. Maybe did she have the possibility to heal her units.

The last thing I remember is the fact that you could upgrade your towers, and that they gained golden gear as you upgraded them, like golden helms and golden arbalests for the units in the towers.

Ah, and it was a windows XP, maybe even 2000 game.

I know that it's a challenge to find a game with so few informations, but one can still hope.

Thanks in advance for your help.

There's a game I've been trying to remember for months and I just can't find the right things to Google. I played it in the early 90s - pretty sure it was a DOS game.

Basically, you're a little man who is walking round a dungeon (I think - might have been some other kind of maze). 2D graphics - looks like a map. I can also remember there were hearts you could pick up (life), and coins which could be silver or gold. I remember when you completed it you got to a room/level with masses of gold coins and a square that replicated hearts, so you basically got infinite life.

There were also barriers that could cost you money to go through them (I'm pretty sure I remember them for both 10 and 100 coins) - I think these were white.

The walls were grey, but there were sometimes hidden walls which flashed white occasionally but otherwise couldn't be seen. I think there were also cannons which would shoot big red bullets. You could shoot them too, and you could also pick up bonuses which would double/treble/quadruple your fire rate (I think these were called "double shot" etc.)

For some reason, I remember calling it "Drigo" (or something similar), but googling that doesn't get me anywhere.

Can anyone help?

Alright I got an old one it was for either the NES or Snes console. It had ship battling parts where you flew toward the top of the screen, the ship was white I believe and looked like the ship from Galaga.... When you reached the end you would usually have to kill a boss, which would usually be a giant metal door with guns and such all over it. When you beat said boss you would enter the door and become (almost looked like the ship would flip over)a person (not sure if you were a guy of girl). As a person you ran around with a sword killing things and navigating the map until you hit the platform that would launch the next ship flying segment (looks like you turn into the ship). You have a health bar in human form I don't think you did in ship mode (I think ship mode was one hit kill). Also creatures would drop power ups(don't remember what they do besides one being for healing), I do remember one of the items dropped being a pink ball I think it was the heal item(or one of them)...... This one has been killing me for as long as I can remember and I have still yet to find it on discussion boards like this or on google.

Another one that is killing me: It is an Asian style game. There are multiple characters to choose from one being a guy and one being a girl. The character I remember the most though could fly and looked like a demon, he had no arms and I think had chains wrapped around his body and his weapon looked exactly like the steering wheel to a ship (I think you unlock him later). You go around killing demons of all kinds, one I especially remember are spider demons (I think there is a level, maybe the first one, where there is a boss spider demon that is bigger than the rest). I remember there being about 5 characters to choose from (I think you only start with two or three of them though)..... I know there is like a combo counter that increases damage or whatever the enemy drops if you keep it up (it goes away after so long without attacking an enemy). I believe this one was for Ps2 and original Xbox (but it may have been for one or the other, maybe neither of those systems)......

I saw some pictures of the white horse riders and its definitly the one that looks closest to the game im looking for! I guess you right, the one that im looking for has a little better graphics. I Dont have much more information to give than the horses and the swordsman you produce looks a bit like this one http://i.imgur.com/ve3MwHU.png (from age of empires 2) I also remember the soundtrack very good, but i dont know how to describe it or find any look alikes, it is dark, ambient, mystic and feudalistic/middle age. Thanks man for taking time! I hope we can find it before i die since it was extremly fun to play
EDIT: It looks very much like warlords battlecry 3!

A very simple old pc game that have diferent background scenes (old west, haunted house). You had some objects and characters you could place in the scene and then press a big red buttom written "GO" or "PLAY" and the things you placed start moving. The desktop icon of the game was a girl riding a yellow fish.

So, my memory of this game is a little scattered, but I'll try my best to give enough information.

It's pretty old, minimum 10 years old, probably more around 15. It's 3d, and first person(at least I'm pretty sure).

I remember really small people-like things. A couple points in the game you're in a turret fending off a lot of those small people. A few points in the game you defend an area from enemies, use little guys to build buildings and towers and walls. I think some point you get a jetpack. At one point you're told to collect some kind of animal meat. The game is humorous, or at least it's going for humor and not serious. I remember some area, a stone formation I think(kinda reminds me of Stonehenge), where I had to fight a bunch of those little guys. I think there might have been some points in the game where some little guys were following me.

So yeah, like I said, my memory is scattered. Only remember some faint images of certain points in the game. But it's bugging the hell out of me, so I want to find it already.

There was a sci-fi shooter game I played around 11 years ago on PC. It was part of a VGA demo game. That disc had 12 games. One of them was this sci-fi game:
You were in a large crate (Perhaps a cargo?). The character (You could choose the gender) had a knife (Also throwable) and a plasma pistol. Weapons had alternative fire modes that consume more ammo. The pistol (Unlimited ammo) could shoot green (standard) and red (alternative) shots. The automatic gun could shoot green plasma with high fire rate and red (more powerful than green) shots with lower fire rate. The Shotgun (or that's what I call) consumed several ammo per shot but released some blue plasma orbs that could destroy anything. I remember when you equipped knife, the character started laughing like a maniac.
There was some boxes in that crate that contained some ammo (or spiders!). The first guy (They were semi human/aliens with green (or blue?) blood) had a plasma automatic gun. This game (demo) also contained some out in the space objectives. To be able to walk outside the space station, you had to have magnetic boots. The O2 was unlimited so time was not a matter here. The game had a focus on green color. The lights were mostly green, also the bound between atmosphere and vaccum was green.

Sorry for my bad English.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Platform(s): Playstation 1

Genre: maybe strategy

Estimated year of release: 1995-2000

Graphics/art style: almost like Bomberman

Notable gameplay mechanics: almost like Bomberman

Other details: I think its a Japanese/korean/chinese game same style as Bomberman, but without bombs. the objective is to turn water valves, and then the water comes, so the players need to avoid the water, otherwise they will be carried by the water through de sewer. at some points the water becomes more and more faster, just like the bomberman's bombs.

i cant find anywhere, just trying here. thanks.

Does anyone remember this game?

It was about 3 kinds of huge robots fighting. You had the blue ones which were more known for katanas, the red ones usually wielding axes and the grayish robots who often used fist weapons. You could build your own robot by selecting it's body, legs (not sure about the head) and selecting what weapons and/or shields it used.

As you were fighting other robots, parts of the enemy could fall off. Some sort of vehicle could then pick it up and take it to your base to reseach it so you could use it for your own robots.

While searching for this game, i often came across similar games, but all of them were 1v1. This game isn't a 1v1 arena game. Just to make things clear :)

There were also less important tanks involved, one tank was named "nemesis" i think. Those would kind of EMP the robots if I remember correctly.

I played this game on the computer and I'm guessing its year or release should be in the 90's.

I hope someone can give me the name of the game, thanks.

Some more information would be necessary to track the game down.

Okay I would kill to remember the name of this game.

I believe its late 1990's.

You drive around on a 'round world' like map (similar to Populous)

You drive a armored, 4 wheeled small car. But it was also possible to get a helicopter (And maybe even a motorbike).

You have to destroy basses, houses, tanks and bunch of buildigs and other stuff.

Sometimes powerups dropped, I remember one beeing "missiles" so you could just nuke the fuck out of everything.

Happy newyear

Yo guys,

I'm trying to recall an old PC game (I think from the mid or late 90's).
It's a futuristic race game à la 'WipeOut' except in this game the tracks were kind of like tubes and you could drive on the sides of the road as well.
I'm not sure anymore if they were full or half tubes tho.
Also, it was sort of a combat shooter. Your vehicles had power-ups I think, like you could shoot off things and stuff like that.
I got the game off of an old CD-Rom with lots of PC Game demos.

It was a really straight-forward simple racing game.

Also, I'm not sure but I think on the start screen, there was a picture of an alien or an alien saying something like 'let's go or start' or something like that and I think the menu theme was a House beat... (<- really not sure about that part).

I've been trying to find it all day. No luck yet lol.

I'd appreciate your help! Thanks! ^^
