I remember playing this game on PC where you were quarantined to this city full of crime and everybody was mutated and all f'd up. You drove a taxi and could buy weapons and get machine guns mounted on it and such. Can't even remember what the box looked like let alone the name.

Hi guys, have been searching for this game to no avail for years! Basically, I remember it being called 'Weird' or something like that, it was a free game with a PC Magazine in the 90's and you had to go from room to room, exploring, reading exhibits about loads of strange things.. spontaneous human combustion, Siamese twins, aliens.. everything! You had to finish puzzles to get to the other rooms and I remember one of the puzzles involved holding a mirror to the screen and moving across a maze!

Please help!!!

I have a cell phone game, might have been on other devices as well:

You control a person trying to leave the room (top view) without getting caught by some monster (or was it a knight?). Its turn based strategy; when you go one step the monster will go two. Thus, you have to try and trap it behind obstacles to get to the door safely.

One of the best mobile games I've ever played. Lots of levels and hard to beat!

2. A top down 4 player racing game, possibly with Nitro in the name. There were bumps, water/oilslicks I think and I remember playing it on pc.
Sounds like Micro Machines or Rock n Roll Racing.

Nope but good effort. :) It looks a bit like Rock n Roll Racing, but oh well. Maybe my older brother knows.

Hi, I have two games I really need to remember, its been driving me crazy for months now.

The first game is a 3d alien shooter game, the game is with a bit of comedy and the main character is an orange alien with a big head in a space suit. The story, or at least part of it, is to escape from a military facility and rescue your fellow aliens. I distinctly remember one mission where I had to rescue these smaller orange aliens. You face military personal and soldiers and you had so sneak around a bit or you would fail.

This is really vague and its the best I remember.

The second game is sci-fi, space style game where you drive this yellow space car and have to complete missions. I remember the game or the car reminded me of the fifth element movie, you know the yellow taxi that Bruce Willis character drives. I am pretty sure this was not the actual fifth element game since I only remember driving this yellow flying car in a space like futuristic city. I dont really remember the story, but you had mission and you could upgrade your car with weapons and such.

This is sort of like the Quarantine game mentioned a few posts above mine, but you were flying higher up and I remember it being 3D with had better graphics. I know that Quarantine has a sequal but it still doesnt look quite right. I googled some, but couldnt find anything.

Any help will be grately appreciated and will keep me from going mental. :D Cheers.

Hi all, been looking for the name of this medieval strategy game of sorts... there was some castle/realm management going on, but what I remember was when you choose to lay siege or storm the enemy's castle, the game switches to a first-person view and you can search the castle for additional treasure while the castle guards attempt to take you on?

Really hope to be able to throw up some hints... Thanks!

Hi all... I joined becuase this has been bugging me for about 20 years! I asked the same question somewhere else a few years back but go no answer... can you pick your brains with this?:

(I'm from the UK)... There was an arcade game machine I remember playing when I was really young. There would be loads of little kids (including myself) fighting to have a go, taking turns to stand on a chair so we could reach! It was next to a Final Fight arcade machine (I remember that much) but never knew the name of this game.

The game was a top-down driving game. You controlled a blue car that shot fireballs out the front. One level I remember was like a military base and you drove around shooting at other vehicles. I remember it may have been one that constantly scrolled up (so you were forced to progress and couldn't turn back). That's all I can really remember. I used to love it so it would be so great to finally find it!

I've looked through these threads and found some inredible answers to obscure game questions so if anybody knows this I'd love to be put out of my misery finally!

Hi everyone,

It's been buggin me about 3 years now. I'm looking for a game that I played online at least 5 or 6 years back, maybe more but not more than 10 years.

I was in a castle or something and I had to go through different rooms to reach some kind of end point for each level (may be a key or a door or something). What I remember is that I at least sometimes had to push boxes out of my way to get out of a room. Sometimes it got really difficult cause sometimes I had to push the boxes in the right order to not get stuck and restart. The only other thing I remember is that there were some kind of "enemies". I think it were ghosts that ran around in all the rooms and (very important) each ghost had its own specific way through the room. They would always go the same path and I had to manoeuver through that.

If any1 can help, I'd be really greatful.
Thanks.

Hello,
I am searching for a game too:

It was a bit of an adult game but nothing really very adult:
You were in a village and had to collect (here was the adult part) pictures of girls, to sell them at the "pawn shop" and then be able to pay the rent for your motel.

There were other things too but i forgot about it. But i'm sure about a trailer, a motel, a "pawn shop", and something more.
It was a gmae with 2 cycles (day and night I think)

It was a game from the late 90's I think! I am not sure. Think after Doom etc.

I hope anyone could help me.

Greets,
IHasNoIdea.
you can pm me if you think it's not for certain eyes ^^

Hi can anyone help me out, I've been racking my brains for ever and no-one remembers this old game. I say 'old' I mean in the last 10/15 years. Pure 2D, basic graphics - involved going through a map which only uncovered itself as you went along - there were snakes and maps and potions and skeletons, but the monsters kind of appeared when you were close, and only made a move when you made a move. It was a point and click game, but I'm sure I used keys as well. Can anyone name this for me? Would appreciate it muchly =]
Think it was in a castle so there were stairs but as it was 2D it literally meant you going to the stairs icon and the screen would refresh as you hadnt walked about and uncovered the paths. Might have gone into a town too.. Deffo remember lots of diagonal moves..

EDIT: I got it, diagonal was the key words - it was CASTLE OF THE WINDS, check it ouy

Hello!

As with everyone else, this has been killing me for years!

I played this game in the late 90's I believe. I think it was for PS1, but I'm not 100% sure. I remember a few things about it.

It was a 2-dimensional RPG game. There were many dialogue options and other choices which affected the outcome of the game dramatically.

The main character (the player character) had a best friend (Tad or Ted maybe? I think it started with a 'T'). I remember this friend had a secret power, and I remember choosing to use it on this boss, some kind of large queen bee, and it revealed his location to the enemy, and he ended up getting killed and giving me his secret power.

Also, I remember drinking tea in some man's house (I think his name was Grey or Gray possibly) and then blacking out after drinking the tea. I think his house caught on fire at some point.

Thank you in advance, everyone!
