i remember playing a game about being in a cop car and you driving through the city and then random cars would speed and try to escape. you had to chase them down and get them to pull over.

you could choose different cars too. like an suv, a traditional cop car, and a few others. there was traffic that you had to get through and dodge. i tried searching it on google for a while but couldnt find anything that looked familiar. i really wanna play it again. please help?
I think it could be World's Scariest Police Chases.

OK, I just made an account so i could post in this thread in the hopes that someone here has a better memory than me. Back in my youth (at least 12 years ago) there was a game, in which you had to build different machines/devices (and im not talking about the incredible machine) you had to arrange the parts to build something like a nail clipper or scissors properly. doing so got you access to the next part where you would have to try and find the best parts for a vehicle you were building, like a slot car or an airplane. you had to escape from the "bad guys" when looking for parts and you always raced your vehicles against your rival. Anyone have any idea what im talking about

Sounds like Gizmos and Gadgets from The Learning Company's Super Solver series.

I need a help with a late 90's PC platform shooter. I only played a demo version. so there was only like 3 levels.
This game was a lot like abe's oddysee but your character wasn't alien but human. If I remember it right the character's you could choose between (there was 2 in the demo) were designed to look like actual living person's. I think they looked like 2 well known(the 90's)action film hero's. Don't remember which one's.
You'r enemies were robot's. The level's were always had a rocky/metallic design and each of them was in a different planet, moon etc. The aliens you saved were green and always say thanks and things like: Cute and such. Other thing I remember in some levels there was an alien hanged up on what seemed like a grill platform and if you shooted it catched fire and a sign lighted up nearby which said: Kebab is dead.
I really hope this information is enough to find it, because it's all I remember.

I also remember another game. It was an enterprise 64/128 game. It was a on casette like the other game's in the 80's and early 90's. It had two chapters, means two casettes. The loading of the casettes took ages.
It was a lot of like prince of persia but don't quite the same. The first chapter, had a dungeon design like the prince of persia games. You mainly fighted with bats and skeletons. Sometimes there were a skeleton who holded a glass on salver and you could either choose to drink the potion or kill the skeleton. If you choose to drink there were two possibilities: It was a health potion and you gained one health points or it was a poison and you lost one.
There were also traps which needed skill and dexterity to avoid. Like green poisoned floor: jumping skill and timing and spike traps and blade traps.
The second chapter was more like a palace of some sort and I remember ropes which hanged down from wall clocks and lots of bats or birds which you had to kill while jumping from rope to rope. Some of you might recall the game Rastan but I assure you it's not that. I already checked out Rastan and it wasn't even released on Enterprise 64/128.
I know it's a hard one, since the enterprise 64/128 computers were mostly owned by only hungarians, like me and austrians. But I would appreciate if someone take a shot. I really liked the game and I'm in a nostalgic mood. Already have the emulator :)

Me and my friend have been look for a game for about a month now that we we played as kids. It was a game we played on the Mac around the year 2002 (the game may of been older and made in the late 90's). The game involved a boy and a girl getting their dog (that my friend thinks was named Blue) back from kidnappers (some sort of organized crime group I believe). It was a point and click game with some puzzles in it. One part that I remember is that you need to find the password for an elevator and I'm pretty sure the password had something to do with a frog. Me and my friend have both separately gone through the list of videogames for the Mac on wikipedia three times and still not been able to find it. Does anyone remember the name of the game or have any information that could help me find the game? It has been driving me crazy!

Here is a reddit post I made looking for the game:

I have 2 games. Both are quite vague as its been a really long time since I've played them.

The first: You were a doctor(I think at least) and you crash landed on a planet. You're ship was broken so you went out to find parts for it. It was an adventure based game with puzzle elements in it. You would walk around, solve puzzles, if you failed you would get hurt and you couldn't die. Platform was Windows, probably mid 90's.

The second:You were a little wizard and you did quests and stuff and you could upgrade your wand. This one is really vague I know. Again it was Windows, mid 90's probably.

Both ran on a Windows 98 OS. Thank you.

I wanna find a video game that`s pretty old, actually I`m not even sure what system its for... anyway..

All I remember is the opening cutscene, something happened in the game that involved the earth shattering into many pieces, and our hero lives on one of the pieces. As a sage/wizard/some magical guy comes into the cutscene view, he uses some yellow energy attack to sever part of the floating island they're on, which allows the part to be light enough to keep floating.

The hero jumps onto the declining area to save a birds nest (I believe) and then jumps onto the main part of the island.

That's really all I remember about the game to be honest, maybe something about a teacup shaped planet or something but I'm not sure if thats relevant... anyways thanks. :)

Hey, I'm looking for an old PC game from the mid-90's. It was an asteroids-style game with 2d graphics VERY similar to the styling of the pinball game that comes packaged with windows. Basically, it WAS asteroids, except that the ships could be upgraded with new weapons and shields and I remember if you went into the game folder, you could customize your stuff so that you could literally just spin and hold the fire button down and clear entire levels in seconds. I THINK I remember something about different colored stats in the lower-left corner, but I'm not 100% sure. I remember alien ships, floating asteroids, and the ship itself being somewhat reminiscent of the ship from Galaga. Can anyone help me out here?

There's this old 1990's PC game that I cannot remember the name of no matter how hard I try... it was a turn based strategy kind of game where you would have a character which walked around in a hedge maze, and would randomly encounter monsters (the whole game was in 2d) sort of like pokemon. The monsters would have attacks and you could basically catch these monsters and keep them as your own to battle other monsters. You could train them and level them up, and then battle the "boss" characters in each region, I guess (the hedge maze was just one region). And there was a map of which places you could go to as well. The monsters were really strangely shaped, I remember one of them was like a carrot.
I remember playing this as a kid and I would LOVE to know what it was called so I can reminisce and enjoy the nostalgia. Please help!
Azure dreams for Ps1 perhaps? sweet game!

Could anyone please help me
I have been thinking of this game ever since i played it but never could find it
It was a isometric rpg from what i remember, it was turn based, that took place in either the future or another planet, cause it was futuristic but dusty and such not shiny future, and the party consisted of a boy and a girl if i remember correctly and the main character had a robot dog -but not a normal dog, a bigger on and it looked similar to the one from half life 2- that had a laser atk that could charge up for 3 turn i think and hit strike more powerfully.

This is all that i remember and i know that it isn't much. but i'm keeping my hopes up.

Thank you for your time.

Early parts of Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator fit this description fairly well.

can you help me? im searching the name of this game for years, but my description is vague.

I am not sure though if it is a ps1 game or something because I only played it in arcade.
I remember that it is a fighting game, you can choose 1 player or 2 players (boy and girl). And the name of the opponents are zodiac signs and birthstones(ex. Virgo, Cancer, Leo, Turquoise). I also remember that Virgo looks like a girl in a gold armor, Leo is a bird, and Turquoise is a man with sword. Basically it is a fighting game. Thanks :)
