Ok so I used to have this gaming console a long time ago and it was this fashion game and you had to take care of the house and get to school and stuff and it was an orange and blue and green console and instead of a controller there was just a blue? remote that went in a compartment on the console and it was transportable and and played some great music but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it someone please help.
How long time ago is long time ago? It helps to have some kind of estimate of year, so that we can eliminate things that are too recent.

And a big problem with plug and play consoles is that there's really no proper documentation on what exist or have existed and the market is completely unrestricted, so there's a million consoles that are pretty much the same thing repackaged.

I'll try to look for it though.

Does this look familiar?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/VTech-V-Smile-TV-Learning-System/dp/B0002MG6QI

Orange and blue, not green - Odd controller. No idea about the games for it though.

Could be this maybe?

Also related to that:

Mind, the video is awful (Kid filming the TV and reading out loud what's on the screen). But maybe you recognize the graphics of the game.

I remember playing a PC game back in the 90s that I don't remember the name of, and I was hoping that people on the forum could help me. I believe that the main graphics were black and orange (I might be wrong). I remember a grid that you moved around on and when you landed on a space you had to beat a puzzle. I believe one was a pipe puzzle in which you had to rotate pipes in order for something to happen. Once you beat the puzzle you got a weapon. I think one was a jack-in-the-box. I think the object of the game was to collect enough weapons from beating the puzzles that once you got enough weapons you could challenge your evil twin? (I'm not sure, I didn't pay attention to the story). You challenge your twin by landing on the same space the are on. The game then turns into a Turn-Based combat game in which you must pick which weapon to use against your opponent for a one-time use (I think it was one time). The game then turned into a rock-paper scissors like game in which you had to think careful which weapon you used because if you didn't pick the collect one, you would lose that round of combat. I'm not sure what happened if you won (I always lost), but I remember playing it one time a long time ago and having a lot of fun playing it!

Am looking for a game from at least 10 years ago (possible 15-20?) which was a 2D top down map, it was an online multiplayer RTS, medieval themed, in which you had/built a city, to build military (i think it was archers, melee & catapults/siege).

Now the difference (between other similar game - like stronghold etc.) was, there were several (4?) powerups on the map, that increased (food production, growth etc.) and I believe that holding these earned you real life money.

There must have been some sort of pay to increase your stats, which then split some of the funds to the server, which allowed for the money to trickle out to the players, those who held those special powerups (I think they were spheres?)

Can anyone remember playing it? Does it even still exist any more? I saw there was a similar, more recent game released (2008?) castle something (?) but looking for the OLD one, of course

THANKS!!!
Saddened by a few others getting found (and happy for those people, of course!)

Is there a way to search through old games by year/genre etc.? Games that might not have been super popular... I used to play shattered galaxy a lot, I bet a lot of people had never heard of the game (but it was an amazing game, at the time). Tried to find it a few years back and managed to track it down.... Thank you Google! But this one is escaping me!

After 30 odd pages through google, a single word led me to the game!!

http://www.samugames.com/artifact/

Game was Artifact, and you capture (and hold) those for cash
woohoo

Hi All,
So I am new to this, so I am not sure what I am doing;
Anyway I am looking for a game that i played roughly between 2004-2008,

It is a 3rd Person underwater submarine game, approximately at the end of every mission you get a new submarine.

The First Mission you get a get a blue and orange sub, and you move with a group of 2-3 subs and start collecting some orange object you get when you shoot certain rocks and return it to the base from where you started from, it becomes a competition between you and the AI to see who collects more of that orange stuff. You are then abruptly interrupted and are diverted by 'high command' to intercept and destroy some enemy subs heading towards the base, the mission then ends when you return to base.

The second mission, you get a greyish green sub, and are directed towards and opening in the ocean floor, and ordered to clear the area of the Jellyfish infesting the crevice. You are then ordered to move to a underwater cave on the opposite end of the map and told to explore it, once you finish exploring the cave and returned back to base the mission ends.

The Third mission, you get a Dark green sub, and are ordered to go to the cave that you explored on the previous mission, as 'high command' found something of interest there. Before you enter the cave, you meet up with one of the subs that you had the competition with. He says "he will guard the entrance of the cave", once you go to the location where high command sends you, the water level in the area is extremely low, there is something that looks like a waterfall, and from it emerges a giant housefly and you had to defeat it somehow.

That is all I remember about the story, but additional feature include;
- If you shoot your allies or the guns protecting the base, subs emerge from the base and court-marshalls you and the mission ends
- each mission is designed specifically for each sub, if you use the wrong sub there is a possibility you will die
- Your allies (subs) consist of one male and one female
- High command is a male.

That is all I remember guys hopefully one of you know what it is and if you don't
THANKS ANYWAY

Hello. I am trying to find 2 point & click adventures for the pc.

First game:

-Main protagonist is a women. (i think she had a red pullover and blue jeans on).
-I played it like 8 years ago.
-You start in a crashed helicpoter on a mountain. (I'm not sure if there is a video how it happened but i think there was one)
-You have to get some stuff out of the helicopter and the adventure starts.

Thats basically all i can remember. I hope someone can find it!

The second game:

-I think you play as a man (i am not sure it could be a woman as well. maybe the two games are linked so i dont really know)
-I played it like 8 years ago.
-There were mammoths in the game and i think some dinosaurs which you had to avoid.. There were a forrest HUGE mushrooms as i remember and you had to cross the forrest to see the dinosaur who was eating a mammoth or something like that..

I hope someone is able to help me. I am dying searching for these (or this) game(s).

Thank you!

And sorry for mistakes, English isn't my best language. :)

Years ago I remember playing what I think was a beat em up for the snes. I think you had the choice of playing between two or three characters and depending on which one you chose determined what mission you played. I only remember playing with two guys. One was a big guy who fought with his fists and I believe he was wearing a sort of green suit. I can only remember playing with him on the first mission and beating up an enemy vehicle outside in the street. The other guy is also wearing a suit (can't remember what color) but he was average size and had claws just like wolverine. I think I can remember using his claws to climb the walls inside a building in the game. Anyways, hopefully somebody has played this game before and can tell me what the name of it is. Thx
. I figured it out myself. The game is "Jim Lee's Wild C.A.T.S" one of the best beat em ups ever made

Have you already checked out the "Aqua Nox" series?

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4197/

If not, they're worth playing anyways. Stupid and pointless story, but decent shooter gameplay. :)
But both games gan be picked up for far less than 2 bucks each when on sale.

Can anyone help me out?

I used to play a PS1 game, and I can only vaguely remind what it was about.

What I remember:
It was a fantasy game, in which you have a character that has like a totem animal, it had a bird flying alongside it. If I remember correctly the game was in brown shades (so no bright colours and such) and quite realisticly done (so its not anime or anyting like it).

I honestly cannot remember more, then the character walking in mountain like surroundings and fighting.

Does anyone have a clue on the game I am talking about? I really want to find it again :)

Gday to all,
I had luck with my first post, im hoping i have the same luck with the second.
This particular game was on macintosh, id say earlTy 90's. he name of it was a series of letters (im guessing the model of the particular helicopter). It was a 2d side on game where you controlled a helicopter, but also could generate troops from the left side of the map, such as infantry, tanks, rocket launchers etc. You were able to take 5 infantry into the helicopter and they could para drop down to target particular buildings/units. There were obstacles along the map (heading to the right) that you could bomb with your helicopter or let said troops take out if they were the right type. There were also opposing helicopters on the more difficult levels and anti air missiles which made it quite challenging. I hope this description rings through to somebody, it was so much fun!
Many thanks
Malroy

Hey everyone!!! Looking for a SUPER old computer game of sorts, that I played on my mom's old Windows 95 if I remember correctly. I can't remember if it was an online thing, or a disc game, or how it was set up, but you had like a pet alien or creature. There were different kinds and different colors and I remember I used to click and hold on the tail of one and moving the mouse around, could fling it across the computer screen and mess with it. Not sure, but I think it was an on screen type of interactive play where regardless of what I was on there doing, they either hung out on the desktop and like walked around and things, or may have even done so on top of everything else I may have been doing like surfing the web. These little guys were the cutest things ever, and I've been trying to figure out what this was for over a decade!!! Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Hello everybody! I'm looking for an old PC game that had "floating tanks", which had a team death match mode, or a racing mode, both in a third person view point. the whole thing with the game is it had weapon pickups and massive destructible maps and a large selection of different "tanks". It also had special weapon pick ups that were 2 different types of nukes, one that destroyed a huge sphere of land, and one that created a huge sphere of land where it hit. it was 3d and had some sort of physics engine behind it. the maps had no models on them, just raw terrain, sometimes sculpted into patterns. It would make my year if you could help me find this game :) please contact me at [email protected] if you have any info

Okay so thank you to anyone that can help me out!!

First thing I remember is it was on the PS1, there was split screen but the screen wasn't split per se, both players were on the screen at all times I believe. You'd be in a spaceship/space fighter jet?? It was a fast paced game and you flew around and shot other ships and dodged shots that came towards you. At the end of levels there were huge boss ships I think. I know it's not much to go on but that's all I remember. Thanks to anyone that can at least point me in the right direction!

Hi everybody, I need your help to find a game!!!

It's an old Mac game I used to play back in the 80's/90's, there was a pattern and you had to get as more tiles as you could.

You could conquer your opponent's tiles by surrounding them, each player could pick a tile and move following a direction decided by an arrow and the number of tiles on your turn was random.

On both sides of the pattern there was a flag used to keep track of your score (the higher the score the higher the flag.

Usually a game was between two opponents and the standard colours of tiles and flags were red and blue.

Thanks!!!

I have three games I want to figure out.

First, hardest one: It was a sidescroller game. You played as a masculine man (he was blonde / orange haired?) and I think you were fighting aliens. You could pick up weapons and shit, I think most of the game was underground.
hmm maybe it's one of the Duke Nukem games?

I don't know if people still post on this, but I can't remember this one game I used to play when I was really young( around 10 to 12 years ago) and its bothering me. All I remember about it is that your are a blue ball that can punch, like a fist will morph out of the ball and then retract. I vaguely remember jumping on koinobori's when the wind blew to hold them up. Sometimes the ball would change color for different reason that I can't remember. That's all I remember about this game. If anyone knows this game or has any idea, please lol.

I'm looking for a 3d ps2 game

it has a red head girl and her head was huge (or it becomes huge?) and she uses a hammer to attack.

i don't know if this is the same part from that game or another game but when you die you have to do something to become alive again and it gets harder every time you die (i think another 2d game works the same way. you fight enemies and when you die you have to do something in order to get back. one of the characters is a masculine man with blond hair i think)

There are several PC games I have forgotten the name of.

The first one you played as a young boy who crash landed by either boat or airplane (I think it was boat) on an island with your companion (who may not have been human?) so you have to go around the island finding your parts and giving items to people. Like if someone wants something, you have to get it from someone else and so on. There was a chief on the island. The game was 2D and you clicked your way through.

Another game I can't remember is where you played as a monkey and had a bunch of mini games and earned bananas. There was bowling, mahjong, swinging from vines while avoiding spiders (this was my favorite. eventually you went from the forest to some caves)and you could buy different houses with bananas. Then you could buy stuff for your houses too.

Another was where you explored the world during the civil war and found objects and brought them too people and then at the end you wrote newspaper articles with stuff you found out and pictures you took. It was a learning game I think.
