Played this game in the 90s.

Starts out in a 3d world, very basic and crude polygons.
If you press space you fire a white polygon.

there are a few floating monsters wandering around in the 3d world, but you
wander until eventually you come to a castle

once at the castle, it switches to a 2d view, and it becomes an
inventory based point and click game.

you do a lot in the castle and theres a long hall that has a mirror
in it, you walk in front of the mirror and it zooms in and your character
makes a funny face.

seems like i remember the name "hearts" or maybe something to do with kingdom
or hero. not entirely sure. I want to say that the executable was called "hearts.exe"
but i cant be sure.

i think the fact that it was both 3d and 2d should set it apart.

any ideas?

There was a game I remember played at my dad's work, looong time ago.

It was a 3D spaceship shooter for PC, probably for MSDOS. The game had a lot of egyptian related stuff, like pyramids, sphinxes. I barely remember some green hills and mountains, and a lot of laser beams pewpew.

Sorry for the poor description, it's a very vague memory.

Hope you can help me with this one. I truly appreciate it.

Hey guys,

I got brought here by a friend of mine because I am looking for a game I played as I was younger.
I really searched it for a long time but it seems that I can't find it.

I remember that I (the player) was in a car and had a machine car attached to my car (i think at the roof or hood)
and there were npc cars following me (no pedestrians or npc people at all) I think there was no goal except to
survive as long as I could, like, I had to destroy the other cars.

I think after a few hits at the enemy cars black smoke will appear (because they are damaged) and they'll stop to drive.
after stopping no enemy will get out of the car, like i said there is no people or blood in the game.

I'm pretty sure I could also enter the enemys car but It´s kinda weird because I remember no human in that game, just the cars.
I don´t know if it was possible to switch cars and if it was If I had a player or it was just a quick switch, like the camera changes
to the new car.

the camera angel was from above, no 1st or 3rd person. like the old gta games.

it was no gta because there was no people and no blood at all.

I think the main menu had a grey background and purple buttons (play, options etc.)

hope you can help me out
best wishes

I've tried searching for these two games I used to play as a kid and can't seem to find them anywhere so I came across this thread and thought I would post here. I'm pretty sure both of these games were on an old Apple IIg and I seem to remember that one of these I even had to type in code on the computer that we got out of a gaming magazine or something..

So anyway here is the first one you were a little tank that could move back and forth and these shapes would come bouncing into the screen. The bigger shapes when you shot them would split into two smaller shapes and they would keep bouncing until you shot them. Eventually if you didnt get them they would bounce to low and take your tank out.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-6D3fBONqdFY/VSer0QNosjI/AAAAAAAABvI/0KtIsFX6ln0/s801/shooter.png

This second one is the one I think I had typed in code for so I'm sure this one is pretty rare. But you would go around shooting these tiny circles that we keep reproducing from the the hives (the full black circle) so you would have to take those out to keep them from reproducing. The full black circles were actually a different design but I cant remember what it looked like but the smaller circles you shot were just that small circles.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-DcVndAD72e0/VSer0QytIoI/AAAAAAAABvM/Q2Szm6EGHS8/s801/shooter%25202.png

Anyone know what those might be?

okay so, your this solider i think, out in space, but you have to for some reasons be dropped down onto different planets to recover pieces of an artefact/relic. they are scattered about, but they hold some unknown power, for some reason you need to collect them all and piece them all together, but you were fooled and it resurrected and evil alien race which can destroy everything. basically they are huge things that shoot block holes from their hands, well their arm is like a alieny black hole cannon, you kill the first one u meet, then for the rest of the end of the game you use the ailens arm to shoot black holes like a gun and this helps you escape from all the other alens into the space stations escape pod.

that's about all i can remember. i think i played it some time between 2000-2010. its a PC FPS. sci-fi game.

any thoughts?
That's most definitely Unreal 2:

hey guys! I'm so glad I found this, there are some games that killing my mind... sorry for bad english...they are both minimum 10-15 years old...

1.(first person view) it began on a rainy day in some sort of factory or liek it.outside,a scorpion like creature attacking you,so you must go in. then the last thing I remember is the boss at the end.its a huge thing, you can't fight it face-to-face,you need to hide in the vents, and lure him to a ventilator, and it will get his hand, and slowly kill him.

2.(third person view) the other one begins with a girl, and in the training you learn that there are 3 type of armor, and you need to change it,because of the terrain(light needed to crawl, heavy to fight)..and later, you control a white assassin like guy,who can't change the armor..

please help,I loved them, even that I was so young,i could not read it's name.

Hi!
This has been bugging me for around ten years now... I remember playing it in the late 90's and/or early 2000's.

I remember a few things, like it was a diskette game.
- A small blonde guy with a pink shirt you could navigate with arrows.(only to left and right, and jumping.) I think..
- When you started the game, you came out of a door into some sort of a "room" with more doors. And when you entered those doors, you entered a level.
- Elevators in some levels, both sideways and up and down.
- I think you could shoot with space.
- Also in some levels there was a light switch, and until you found it, the platform were pitch black.
- I have a vague memory of the colors green, red and yellow. Some switches(?) you had to push before finishing the game.
- I dont know if this will help anything, but i remember calling it "the diamond game".
- I think there was bats and snakes in the game.

Sorry for bad grammar and somewhat bad description. Thankful for any help! :)

Okay, anybody know this game? I remember it starts with a girl on a train and the main dude gets on. As the train is moving it gets attacked by monsters targeting the girl. The main dude protects her and becomes her body guard or something. Anyway she fights with a book. Like, she smacks monsters with it... He uses his fists. I think the train stops at a town where the people seem nice but than at night you go out and find an altar of sorts and find out the people are performing human sacrifices. That or they were cannibals. Kinda blurry. This old dude helps you fight them off with his magic. He stands out cause he was my favorite. He would stab his staff or cane into the ground when doing spells. Than there was another guy I think who fought with a log and at one point you find a large red mailbox in front of someone's house and he just takes it to use as a weapon. I also faintly remember a castle or something filled with ghosts that hit you with these wierd things that looked like their penises. That's about all I remember. So the girl with the book should stand out cause it's like the only game I've ever played with a person that hits things with a book.

Can someone help me out with this game? All i remember is that it was a board game on the ps2 or original Xbox. i think it starred 4-8 playable characters, and the only player i remember was a black guy with purple sunglasses and an Afro, his avatar is one of the stock ones on the ps3. One of the mini games in the game was you would stand with a barrel and bananas or some type of food would fall out of the ceiling and you had to collect it into your bucket. I've been looking for this game for about 6 years, and i cannot think of the name. Thanks for the help guys!

Nice to see this thing exists, I have endlessly searching for a game I used to sometimes play on the Primary School PC's, back in the 90's, From what I recall, a black background, a Red Maze or tight path, where you navigate an Egg, or egg like object to the goal.
Can't remember if it was times, or you couldn't touch the sides, or what, but I'm sure I had to frantically use the arrow keys to move and recall it being difficult in later levels.

does any of you guru's know what i'm talking about??

I have three games I want to figure out.

First, hardest one: It was a sidescroller game. You played as a masculine man (he was blonde / orange haired?) and I think you were fighting aliens. You could pick up weapons and shit, I think most of the game was underground.
hmm maybe it's one of the Duke Nukem games?
Holy shit you're right ! I remember the "intro screen", thank you so much.

Now I need help with the 2nd game I requested ;D
Good to hear that i could help you xD

maybe i can find the other one :p

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here, so I hope that I am following all the rules and doing this right. PLEASE help me figure out the name of this game I used to play as a child with my brother. It ran on MS-DOS and we had a PC computer.

You could play two players (no joy-stick needed.. just keyboard), and both players played in the same screen. Each person had their own player on the screen, but the "player" did not have a human form. It was a shape. I believe one was in the shape of the letter "Y" or maybe an upside down Y? And at least one of the characters/shapes was a bright pink. I think the other was a blue color.

Anyway, it was not a side-moving screen. It was a fixed screen and both players could move around the screen. And I think the object was to shoot at gems? Or to jump and hit things suspended higher in the screen to create gems? I really can't recall. I also don't know how to categorize this game, since it's not an action, shooter, or adventure game. I remember really liking the fun music that played. And of course, there were different levels. I can't remember if it was a competitive game where the two players are competing against each other or not. Please help. I know this isn't very much detail, but I have spent hours trying to find this out. Thank you!

Also, not sure if this will help or not -- but my dad used to always get us games with free trials. I don't think this is one of those games that you could have bought in a big box. Or maybe it came as a demo... but we could play pretty far (multiple levels), so maybe it was a free game? That might narrow down the category.

I am trying to remember the name of an old game from the 80's. I think it was on the Atari 5200 or ST but not 100% sure. I believe it was a full PC and not a game console. The game was 3D (solid polygons), adventure and puzzle game. You crash land on a planet, and I think you immediately owe someone for purchasing a land vehicle. You explore and enter some elevators/garages which leads to various maze like environments. There you find rooms, puzzles, teleporters, keys to open doors with symbols on them, some androids that talk to you. There is a constant text bar where messages scroll on during the game near the bottom. You get a small jet/plane later on and have to visit a sky base (one of the areas). Your goal is to rebuild a rocket so you can leave the planet you crashed on.

Anyone remember this game ?

Hey guys I need help! It's a PC game and I can't remember the name and I believe it was back in the early 2000s

It's a cowboy point and click game, much like how you play xcom (the click and action stuff) but i believe its not turn based, maybe more like diablo but again if you click on something a menu pops up. It's the best I can remember.

Any ideas? Feel free to ask questions.
Thanks!
