Hi, I've just joined this forum because I am looking for some old games.

1-2D platform, you could jump and shoot (I don't know what did it exactly shoot, bullets or fire balls or something). The key for shooting was probably the control key or the shift key. I remember the game to be more or less dark. From the 1990's, probably from the late 1990's (maybe early 2000's but I don't think so).

2-You choose two dinosaurs and then one automatically (you just look at it) pursuits the other. If the carnivorous one is fast enough, it catches the other one and eats it. 2D graphics.

I know that it's pretty vague, I am sorry but I was a child and I don't remember... Thank you!

Hey all. Made an account because I stumbled across this thread after talking with my bro the other day about a game we played back in the very late 90s, possibly early 2000s. We've been racking our brains for ages to try and remember what it was called. I don't remember what the story was about but to sum up what we remember;

- 4(?) playable characters; one of which may have been female.
- Each character had a different colour pickup (mana) blue, green, amber and possibly pink.
- The characters were each of a difference class, for instance I believe one was a warlock/mage style character which was weaker in health but could hold more mana.
- The game was a mix of puzzle and action/combat.
- I believe the game was a on a PS1? I could be making that up.

I realise that's vague but there may be a clue in there, if anyone remembers, please let me know!

Cheers fellas.

Any ideas?

Had to join just because of this thread. :)

I have 4 games I am really struggling with and I hope you guys can help put my mind at ease.
I am pretty sure all 4 games was played on our old Sega machine, that was a keyboard thing with a floppy drive (Well I think it was Sega because we also played James Pond and Sonic on it).

1: This game was played in top down view where you controlled 3 (I am pretty sure) Punks that followed each other in a line that each had a colour red, green and blue (maybe yellow?). I remember the game was on a timer and you had to escape what I believe was an exploding spaceship. I am sure they could shoot with weapons and had to kill enemies as well.

2: I remember this game as a side scroll type game like Duke Nukem, that was in a tall skyscraper like building figthing aliens, but the main character had long brown curly hair and maybe sunglasses (I think). I remember slime type monsters. This one I know is very vague, but I have this feeling I remember such a game.

3: I remember the opening cinematic had the moon and men in brown robes gathering at the Stonehenge.
The game play was about having knights placed on a map where you could send them on missions or drink at the local inn or things like that. I distinctly remember one of the missions was to fight a dragon where you control the knight from a side view, and to kill the dragon you had to get under it's head and stab it in the throat.

4: The last one I can clearly remember, but the name has simply eluded me. You control a fox in ancient Rome that has to find the missing recipe pages for the perfect Pizza, and you had to fight people that fought with music nodes.

*Edit*
All have been found, thanks so much for the help!

Ok so this has been bothering me for many years now, I have scoured google trying to find this game, even the name of it, and I have thus been unable to find it. This game is particular was a game I played back in the 90's I believe it made around the early 90's but I am unsure. I remember I used to play it on a packard computer. The game involved traveling on a Submarine, the graphics were fairly nice actually given the time frame. On the submarine was an otter of some kind or a seal and I think the submarine was escorting this seal back to her home or something like that but Idk. I do remember you could travel around the submarine and mess with things, and the movement was done on a gridded map when you drove the submarine around. You could look through the scope from the submarine. It was a really fun game even though I had no idea what it was about haha. Hopefully someone can help me because I know I will probably never get to play it again, but its making me insane.
the series 'Silent Hunter' comes to mind.
started in 1996, its about german submarines in wwII
No this is not the game, but some of its features actually looked very much like the game I was talking about. All I know is that there is a seal involved in this game, I don't know what the point of the seal is or why. But I know when you explore the ship there is a science area where you can mess around, the bridge, of course the telescope from under the water.

Alright, I need some help, guys. I made an account just to see if I could find an answer.

I played many computer games growing up in the 90s, and I believe we had one of the early Mac computers (the one with the rainbow apple). I used to play these games that I cannot identify to save my life.

Some of them may have been cereal box demo games; there was this one disk with a few games including a Spider-Man 2D game involving shooting web at broken windows in a building? There may have been fire, and possibly math involved?? Not sure. But I'm fairly certain that on the same disk, there was a game involving cats. It is super obscure, I realize, but I can't remember much of it aside from that. There was this puzzle where you had to find the outline of a leopard or cheetah in a mess of yellow and black dots. I just remember cats, cats, and more cats (they were probably big cats, now that I think of it).

Third game I can remember: There were minigames on one disk, and one of the characters was a gorilla of some sort (I didn't like her). There was also a big ball and a jack-in-the-box. I think the jack-in-the-box and the monkey were the two main characters (and one time I accidentally glitched the monkey out of the game and it freaked me out so bad). I don't remember the actual gameplay, just those features of it.

Any help? I know I'm being super vague, but that's honestly all I can remember.

Thank you so much!

*Edit*
Just going update as I have found all the games!

The reason I could not find them was simply because I was searching for the wrong console!
It has just been so many years ago that Sega was branded into my skull when it was Amiga all along.

So many thanks diablo rules, you opened a floodgate with your answer and all the names with the memories of the games just came flooding back.

1: Was of course Cyperpunks, oh the memories that brought back. :)

#bump numero uno. Please someone help me!!

Hi All,

First time poster here and apologies for making the first post such a long shot.

I'm looking for the title of a free game I played before 2005, on my PC through the browser.

All I can remember of the game was the battling bit.

From what I can remember the game was single player 2D turn based strategy game and the object was to progress through a number of levels to reach an end location.

To do so this would involve battling your way through a number of fields against NPCS (of increasing difficulty) in a turn based fashion until you defeated them and could reach the end of that field.

Both sides started on the opposite side of the field which was 8 by 8 (I think) big squares and you typically had a few warriors to fight a few NPCs (the further you got in the game the more you would have to face). For some reason I picture the game screen being on the right hand side at the top of the browser screen.

The game play was turn based and you would move your players towards the enemies until you were in range.
Believe there were different types of "warriors", one with a sword, one range etc

Graphics were 2D and the game was very simple graphics wise and game play wise and I don't believe it is famous.

Can't remember how your warriors were moved but think it was with mouse clicks.

If anyone could help shed any light on this I would be grateful. It's absolutely torturing me.

Hey all, I'm looking for a PC game from the 90s, maybe 93-96 but I can't be sure. It had weird spherized/spherical graphics as opposed to polygons. What I remember was that you're in a village and there's a wolf and if it eats you then you die. There might have been traps involved that your character can get caught in. I think you're a human male character but I really can't remember much more than that. It may have been a medieval setting with solders. May also have been point & click movement. If anyone can find me the name of this game that would be amazing. Thanks!

Hey
I'm looking for a browser game where you had to ensure that fuzzy white balls that fell from the ceiling made it to the end of the level. The fuzzy balls kept moving until they hit a wall and then they changed direction. A certain number of balls had to make it to the end for you to pass the level. You had to build the level yourself using plank like things and boxes and stuff the game provided you. The levels also had trampoline like things and fans that made the little balls bounce and fly. The graphics were very simple and I think it wasn't very colorful. Last time I played this was prob early 2000s. Thanks!

That's probably "Ecstatica" (1994) or its sequel "Ecstatica II" (1997).

Need help finding my game title!
It was a PC game top-down, I remember it being a demo from another game. You're human and you go through a few stages collecting certain things on the ground such as pipes and machine parts. There are mutants walking around you have to avoid. The game is rich in greens and oranges and has a pixelated look to it with possibly hand drawn backgrounds. I remember you found the pipes lying around the map and you would have to connect them to get the flow of water going to clear paths. It had a pollution-like back story I believe, that's where the orange mutants came from. I remember maps being set in a jungle and machinery-like room. You would click to move and when you clicked on an item to pick up your character walks over to it, bends down and picks it up. Added to your backpack.

Hopefully this helps! Time period for the game I think is right around 2000 since I was playing it on Windows 2k.

Please help me, I'm going crazy for real.
Have been thinking about this game me and my brother used to play when we were little (probably between 2004-2007). At first you had to get into an house, an then you needed to navigate through the rooms doing different task choosing to be a fly, a mouse and a dog i think. I'm not sure but I think the point was to find a "invisible" boy, I didn't quite understand since the game was in english. I remember as a mouse you had to sneak through a room with a evil cat, and as a fly you had to try to not get dragged into the food grinder. i also think there was a genie in a lamp in the kitchen. The game was very cartoonish, not with crazy graphics and stuff.

I am looking for an older pc game possibly set in the French and Indian War. You can play as either a European scout type character or a Native American character with special abilities such as using wildlife for your aid as you complete objectives. You play as individual characters not commanding large military forces as that is all my searching seems to come up with.

There was a game I used to play when I was younger on the Pc. Was probably the 1990's I played it. Main character was a blonde male who was kind of a loser at the start. The first part of it I remember him walking through streets and he has to find a way to knock his shoe down from a window. He was quite goofy looking and I'm pretty sure time travel was involved. I also remember a mission where there would be a cut scene of a little angel and a little demon talking to him and he would spray one of them to shut them up. Vaguely remember if there was aliens in it. Not sure on that.
Really struggling to remember it please help!
