Been searching around for the past couple of hours, mainly because it's annoying me; I remember getting a game in Japanese when I was younger, which was on the PC.

I can't remember much about it, however I remember the opening having like a sky-rise building or an elevator (something very tall with lights) and then you're in a room with someone in bed - all animated (as in, anime style animation). Then someone knocked at the characters door and you were given a couple of options - both of which were in japanese so I couldn't tell what they were. Clicking one made the guy just go back to sleep and end the game; I can't remember exactly what the second option did though.

I think it was possibly a detective / cyber-punk style game, but after searching around for a while I'm not so sure. I know, not a lot of information there, but if it triggers something in someones memory that would be amazing, thanks :)

Hey guys,
I've been searching those for ages now and i really hope you'll help me to find out. I'll add all the details I can even if they looks stupid or unnecessary. Both games were in color and really well made for this time: 20ish years ago, I only had a free trial version of both of them and they also add music and soundtracks that were not 8 bit. I played it on a Mac but they were maybe available too on PC.

#1 Game:

It's a shoot them all, side-scrolling game that goes to left to right which takes place in space, you are controlling at the beginning a starship that shoots blue big round shots that can evolves in bigger one if you succeed to pick those blue bonus several times without picking a different type of it. The other one was bullets that looked redish, just like cartridges like several on top of them. They were also a third attack where you fired kinda stars of light but i'm really not sure of it. You couldn't upgrade your starship tho or maybe just having pals that were smaller than you and shooting the same weapon that you had. Further along you were blocked by a big amount of Meteorites and you had to possessed the blue shooting items to go through, otherwise you just didn't do enough spaces to pass this. At the end you had a boss that was a Big Old School Robot:

Just like one of these, he could shoot lasers with his eyes and i think could also shoot a missile. I never managed to beat him when i was a kid :p

#2 Game:

I remembered very well the intro, especially the end where the game name is showed: You can see one kid that ,i'm really not sure of it, a striped sweatshirt red and white and a jean, he was shown in front of a mansion, in a low angle shot looking at it and above the castle there was lightnings and clouds, you could clearly heard the sound of the lightnings.
In the game you where playing this little boy: you could see all the room that you were in it and the difficulty was growing: at the beginning you had only carnivorous plants that lived in a pot that you needed to destroy so they cant's spawn anymore. The pot and the plant were both killable by the same weapon a spray of poisonous. Each item were pickable on the floor and u had only one utilisation of each one. You could also pick moneys that were looking like bags and i think gems too. When you killed all the monster the levels was finished and you had a new room. Sometimes you had also a bonus room which contains plenty of bags of money and gems in it. They were also spikes that one shotted you just like all the ennemies. The monsters had a cooldown to respawn that you could see cause their houses were kinda "dancing/ floating". Further in the game, they were werewolfs that you could killed with a revolver and their houses were dog houses with a name on top of it. You couldnt jump in this game, only going right, left, down, up, one key for the items that's all. In the loading screens you could see weapons for the other monsters in the game: i think there were mummies, vampire, witches and zombie, i'm really not sure of it tho.

Well I hope that you guys will help me to find those games ! Me and my dad are looking for their names forever now :p If you have any clue, or know that someone is also searching those games, or even questions i'm so hyped for those :D

Cya boyz and thanks in advance :)

I remember playing this game when I was younger (1998-2005) but the game might be a lot older. It was a top down strategy,R.T.S. like game. I think the game had mostly aliens. I remember that MY aliens were always purple but I'm not sure if that's the case everywhere or just a choice. I remember it had like a storyline and I had to push forward with my aliens and go somewhere (I think that's what I had to do :p). I know I don't have a lot of details about it but maybe someone will know what game I'm talking about.

This is driving me nuts.

Trying to find a game that probably game out in the mid-late 90s. Was first person and had elements of shooting and point to click. I remember it revolved on dragons/dragon riders in some capacity, and one of the first "puzzle" had you either chose to kill a dog-monster thing who was blocking a path or give him a bone. Seem to remember carrying a dragon egg at one point too.

If anyone can help I'd be thrilled. Think we got this for like 2.99 at Costco circa 1997, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was lost to the ages.

Thanks!

Hi, after so many google searches, I am at a loss. I really want to remember the name of a late 90s PC RPG (diablo 2 like) game.

Here is what remember, you controlled three different characters in a fantasy world, top down view.

One looked like they had a wooden backpack and wore blue pants, another was a women in red. you could equip different weapons (swords/bows/staffs) and armor. You started the game by walking from map to map pushing a fog-of-war away, too fight demons/monsters and need to use one of the characters to seal a hole the the demons spawned out of.

There could be multiple "demon holes" on each map. There were spells that could reign ice or fire and all those general spell types in most fantasy games. You could back-track over areas already sealed.

Please if anyone can remember this game's name reply.

I have the hardest one. Used to play it on my Windows 95 pc. Bunch of arcade mini games WITH HEADS, that's right. Human heads of some dudes, fighting each other, playing baseball, some kind of brick breaker of sorts. OH!!! I just remembered, when they were "fighting", one attack consisted of the guy getting his face pulled out, torniquetted, and then cut with scissors. You also could blow up its face, you could cut it clean off the head. I NEED TO REMEMBER!!!

Im Trying to remember a game that i used to play when i was younger, I remember that the introduction started off as a guy in his house watching tv or something, and this orb that he had or something sucked him into it, and he ended up in this guys hot air ballon. You go on from there and you choose what you want to be, Mage, Warrior, or something else dont remember what. The world he gets pulled into is a midevil fantasy world, and i wana find it again but i cant remember the name for the life of me. It is a Diablo style game, with the view being overhead of the character.

I need a game that I've been looking for for years. It was a flash game on the computer on one of those game sites ( maxgames, armorgames, etc.) where you would fight against the cpu in a sort of Dragon Ball Z-ish style. The stage ( stayed the same) was like on top of buildings in the sky and it was dark( maybe raining )

The most memorable part of it for me was this epic purple energy ball attack which i loved. I used to play the game daily but forgot about it and now its been gone ever since.

If anyone has any clue please tell me I'd be so happy lol

Okay, the game I've been looking for probably came out in the 90s or early 2000s. It was a pc game where you could create caracters/students and name them, then place them in mostly a school setting(I believe) and create comics with them. Or at least that's as much as I remember. I know at one point I had created a ton of the characters.

I'd love to find it again, if only for nostalgia purposes.

2nd and last bump, if anyone knows please give me a sign... the game was lend to me when I was a kid by a dear friend who passed last month; that's why I really would have enjoyed replaying in, in her memory. Thanks to anyone who read and thought about it.

Hi, I'm looking for an old(ish) PC game (DOS but more probably Win95/98).
It is a platformer with a tiny wizard, but it is NOT Hocus Pocus. Though that is the most similar thing in the universe I guess. The first levels are in a nocturnal setting with oversized frogs, high grasses, maybe the moon in the parallax background. The plot starter, if I remember correctly, is a pretty stereotypical abducted fiance/princess/whatever related to the protagonist.

Hi all. I played this flash game a few years ago and cant remember it's name. It was a 2D, top-down view RTS. In this game player can recruit peasants and train militia to fight evil forces and demons. the recruits can be trained as knight, spearman, bowman, mage and healer, as I recall, and can be upgraded later. Before the battle player places units in the battlefield (in the bottom of the screen, opposite of demons army) and then the battle starts. Also there was a global map and you could play the same battle several times to farm xp.
Suggestions?

I've tried searching for these two games I used to play as a kid and can't seem to find them anywhere so I came across this thread and thought I would post here. I'm pretty sure both of these games were on an old Apple IIg and I seem to remember that one of these I even had to type in code on the computer that we got out of a gaming magazine or something..

So anyway here is the first one you were a little tank that could move back and forth and these shapes would come bouncing into the screen. The bigger shapes when you shot them would split into two smaller shapes and they would keep bouncing until you shot them. Eventually if you didnt get them they would bounce to low and take your tank out.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-6D3fBONqdFY/VSer0QNosjI/AAAAAAAABvI/0KtIsFX6ln0/s801/shooter.png

This second one is the one I think I had typed in code for so I'm sure this one is pretty rare. But you would go around shooting these tiny circles that we keep reproducing from the the hives (the full black circle) so you would have to take those out to keep them from reproducing. The full black circles were actually a different design but I cant remember what it looked like but the smaller circles you shot were just that small circles.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-DcVndAD72e0/VSer0QytIoI/AAAAAAAABvM/Q2Szm6EGHS8/s801/shooter%25202.png

Anyone know what those might be?
I didnt see a response to this one, can anyone check those 2 pictures out and give me any ideas?? Thanks!

This will be a quick description but i hope someone will know what it is.

Old PC game i played in the late 90's. Top down dungeon kind of game. No Combat. Just searching these gray, square tile floor dungeons looking for colored keys, pressing buttons, etc. to solve puzzles.

Anybody?

The first game is based on the gameplay of "Pang" (not the first of its kind, but the most popular).

Hope you'll find a good list of Apple II games and a hint to some Pang clone.
